Bob's pov

Alan wasn't here at lunch. I felt a little bit bad about earlier. That probably made him not come. And his two friends wasn't here either. So I went to look for them. I didn't seem them anywhere in the school really. I saw Duke walk outside. As much as I would hate to be caught stuck with them I figured they could possibly be with him or where he's heading to. I followed him outside, lot's of older people seemed to be out here. They probably were seniors and juniors, of course some sophomores and freshmen probably sneaked out here too.

Duke moved on a little farther away. I moved a little bit closer but still tried to stay far. I looked around him to look for Alan and/or his friends. Duke seemed to be conversing with a Trex member, he looked familiar from the party. The guy was showing him something on the phone I couldn't clearly see, nor really cared to. Looking around, finally I saw Alan...and he was with Stacie. I took a deep breath as they stared at each other too long for my liking- I mean! Ugh, stupid Alan!

Finally I came back to reality. I looked away from Alan and glanced at Duke. His eyes were dark and narrowed on Alan. I sucked in a breath and left quickly when he started to move closer to where I was. I needed to tell Alan Duke saw him when I could.

I ran back inside and hurried to he cafeteria. I told everyone Stacie was still eating outside but to get ready. I decided to look again for Landon and Kaden in the cafeteria. Eventually I gave up when I didn't see them, I wasn't going back outside again.

I took a seat at the table I usually sat at. And of course when I was alone the guys before decided to come over some stood around me while others sat down at the table with me. It seemed like there was more this time too..

Who I assumed was the leader sat across from me glaring. I tried to continue eating and pretend they didn't exist. But it eas hard too, and it seemed to just make them more upset.

"You almost got me and my boys suspended." he snarled and I rolled my eyes mentally.

"You got yourself almost suspended and your boys did it to themselves too." I mumbled and he glared leaning forward.

But before him and "his boys" could do anything, the cafeteria doors opening caught our attention. Alan had walked in and I felt myself relax a bit. The party was planned for this lunch, a lot of people were here and around. His eyes widen and he looked around. Maybe he wasn't mad at me after all. Everyone was looking his way, we were waiting for Stacie. Well everyone but these guys that won't leave me alone looked his way.
His eyes eventually went my way and the others that looked his way looked away. He walked over glancing around the guys near me.

"Who's this?" Alan and the leader asked at the same time, but the leader sounded more aggressive while Alan whispered it more to me.

"Oh uh...this is my friend." I say gesturing to Alan then I pull him close whispering. "They're bullies." I say quickly and pull away as the leader raises an eyebrow.

"Oh, so youre apart of the Tree group." the leader says.

"Trex." Alan says glaring.

"My bad." the leader replies mumbling.

"Yeah, now back off and get your gang to leave or I'll get my boy Landon." Alan says and the leader gets up grumbling.

"Let's go!" he barks and walks off with "his boys".

"What is with you guys and my boy or boys?" I say mumbling as I look down with a hot face.

Once again I had to be saved. It was embarrassing, but I appreciated it. And I'm glad Alan wasn't upset with me.

"Is this why you seemed sad on the bus?" Alan asks sitting down next to me.

"Sure...also thanks. And sorry about earlier on the bus." I mutter and he side hugs me grinning. My face heats up as I push him away gently.

"What?" he laughed as grumbled. "It's okay and you're welcome by the way." he says smiling. I open my mouth to stir the conversation to Duke, but the sound of the cafeteria doors opening stop me.

I glance over with others to see who it was. Finally this time it was Stacie. People jumped and threw confetti while others pulled out posters. Alan glanced around completely confused. I got up also and welcomed Stacie loudly with the others.

"What's going on?" Alan asks getting up also to clap, I guess because all of us were up and clapping or something.

"A goodbye party for Stacie." I say as people hug her and some sit down, signaling that I can ask well.

"What?" Alan says glancing at me, it seemed like he was glaring a little at me.

"A goodbye party?" I say slowly as he sits down also.

"So you knew?" he snapped and I leaned back a little from him.

"I um..knew she was moving...didn't you?" I ask clearing my throat.

"Well uh today." he muttered. "Seems like everyone knew way before me though." he scoffs.

"Well sorry, I thought you knew so I didn't tell you." I say throwing my hands up and he scoffed looking away as he got up also. "Where are you going?"

"Away, maybe to find Kaden and Landon. Oh wait, they could be hiding stuff too. Bet they knew too huh." he says before leaving the table and I take a deep breath looking away.

I frown sighing as the bell goes off. I decided to just let him cool off this was a stupid thing to be upset about. I glared at him but also myself. He's going to be upset again if he finds out about Duke before I tell him. But he needed time to himself probably. I could text him after school at least.
