In the lab.

Leo walks in "Guys, Alien Gladiators are coming to Mission Creek." Leo says excitedly.

Adam gasps "I knew this day would come. Thankfully, I'm prepared for an alien invasion." Adam puts on tinfoil hat "Chase, you hold them off while the rest of us who deserve to live escape." Adam says and pulls Bree with him.

"No, no. Not real aliens. My favorite sci-fi movie franchise: Alien Gladiators. They host annual fan conventions, and this year, it's in Mission Creek." Leo says, Chase walks up to him "Oh, I love Alien Gladiators." Chase says excitedly.

"In the future, rival alien worlds, the Morfs and the Zarkanians will battle over control of the galaxy!" Chase says in a deep narration voice.

"Oh. I remember that movie. It was terrible. The whole thing was blurry." Adam says "You didn't wear your 3D glasses." Bree says "Well I didn't wanna look stupid." Adam says adjusting the tinfoil hat on his head.

Chase smiles excitedly "It was the first movie I watched with McKayla, one of the reasons I love this movie" he remembers.

"I bet the entire cast will be there. I have everybody's autograph. Except for the new guy playing Prince Landor in the sequel: Andre Ethier." Chase says "Whoa, whoa, wait. As in baseball superstar Andre Ethier?" Bree asks interested.

"Since when do you care about baseball?" Chase asks, Bree scoffs "I love baseball. You know, with the bases and...the ball." Bree says,Chase crosses his arms "Okay, whatever. Andre Ethier's cute, and if he's there, I'm there." Bree says.

"The convention is going to be awesome. They're bringing back the fire staff challenge." Leo says "What's a fire staff?" Adam asks.

"This..." Leo grabs fire staff from the console "is a fire staff." Leo spins a kind of plastic spear and puts it on the ground, which makes it light up "Looks like a stick with lights." Adam says "It's a fire staff!" Leo says.

"Competitors battle each other with their own fire staffs, and the winner gets a walk on role in the next movie. And that winner is going to be me." Leo turns the fire staff and accidentally hits himself in the head with it.

Donald walks in with a fire staff and robe "Greetings, good Morfs." Donald says.

"What are you doing?" Leo asks "Getting ready for the Alien Gladiators convention. I am Elder Lumina. And Elder Lumina will be victorious in the fire staff challenge." Donald says.

"Look, Elder-ly Lumina, I hate to get your robe in a bunch, but that role is mine.' Leo says, Donald laughs "That's cute. But I've loved these movies my entire life, and winning that role will fill my biggest childhood dream, so..." Donald says "I think childhood dreams expire once you hit 40." Leo says.

"Oh, all right, out of the way, micro Morf." Donald starts spinning fire staff with great skill and precision "Still think I'm too old to compete?" Donad asks

"I don't know what was more amazing, your moves or the fact that your dentures didn't fall out." Leo mocks, Donald chases Leo out of the lab

In main school hallway.

Leo is spinning fire staff while Bree, Chase and McKayla watch.

Chase and McKayla are sitting on the circular bench in the middle of the hallway, Chase sits on the highest part of the bench while McKayla sits on the lowest bench practically in the middle of Chase's legs, but without leaning on the back of the bench he is sitting on.

Leo is still spinning fire staff "Pretty cool, huh? It's shiny 'cause I showered with it." Leo smiles, McKayla frowns "Uh... you took a shower with it? But why...?""Ah better not" Chase covers her mouth from behind, McKayla giggles as he does this.

Lately they have been finding any possible excuse to be able to touch each other or be close to each other but they don't even realize they are doing it. It's just becoming natural but exciting for them to have constant physical contact with each other.

Chase lets go of her mouth when she throws her head back to look at him "Cutie" she thinks "I love how soft her lips are, I bet they taste as good as they feel" Chase thinks taking a deep breath to entertain the thought.

"Okay. You really think you're gonna beat Mr. Davenport?" Bree asks Leo "Please. Once he starts sweating, he'll go blind from his hair dye." Leo says.

Adam comes down the stairs "Okay, all caught up on Alien Gladiators. Great movies, but they're missing one thing. Space Dog." Adam suggests "Huh?" McKayla asks as she begins to absentmindedly play with the denim of Chase's high top "Space Dog?" Chase asks.

"Yeah. He'd be the perfect companion. Plus in space, after he does his business, it just floats away." Adam says "Wow Adam that's an idea...just an idea nothing more to say" McKayla says untying one of Chase's high tops while talking.

"High tops look so good on him" McKayla smiles absently, Chase watches her "What is she doing? Not that I'm complaining, it's strangely satisfying to see her untying my shoe like that" Chase thinks.

Caitlin walks over "Hey, guys. Sorry I'm late." Caitlin says "Hey Cait" McKayla says, adjusting the brim of Chase's high tops, by lifting the hem of the leg of his pants a little.

"We weren't waiting for you." Bree says "Back off, Bree. It's been a bad day." Caitlin says "When it's not" McKayla says sarcastically "Okay I get It's a negative person, Mack!" Caitlin says "I still love you Cait" McKayla smiles, Caitlin sincerely smiles back "and I have serious problems because of that" McKayla thinks.

McKayla starts tying Chase's high tops again but threading the shoelaces in a different way. Chase, equally distracted, starts to play with her hair, gently pulling all the hair from behind.

"Cool fire staff. Are you guys going to the convention tomorrow, too?" Caitlin asks.

"Yep. We're even dressing in character. I'm going as Gigabit, half human, half robot." Chase imitates a robot but remains sitting because he doesn't want to push away McKayla who smiles at him, finishing tying his high top and just leans on his leg.

"Yup, it's almost like he was dressed up as himself, but the outside of him would be a robot and not the inside like with bionics" McKayla thinks.

"And I'm going as Prince Landor. Handsome yet brave...yet handsome." Leo spins the fire staff.

"I'm going as the most badass bounty hunter in the galaxy, Drea Endor!" McKayla says excitedly.

"She's going to look insanely hot in costume" Chase thinks, tucking McKayla's hair behind her ear. She tries to hold herself back from biting her lip due to the chills he makes her feel.

"Well, I will be going as the beautiful Queen Andromeda." Bree throws her hair back "Really? You? Well, it is a fantasy world." Caitlin says, McKayla frowns at Caitlin.

"And what character are you going to be?" McKayla asks, Caitlin takes a while to respond "I haven't decided yet" Caitlin raises her chin.

"She's going as Queen Andromeda for sure" McKayla thinks "Caitlin" McKayla raises her eyebrow "Fine, I'm going as Princess Milky Way! Happy?" Caitlin quickly says "Oh yeah!" McKayla smirk

"Andromeda's younger and less beautiful sister" Caitlin rolls her eyes muttering "Stop It, they're both important in the movie and they are equally beautiful" McKayla says.

"Whatever" Caitlin rolls her eyes and leaves, Bree looks at McKayla "We really need new friends." Bree says, McKayla nods "we have Paige" McKayla says "Oh yeah that'll do" Bree says.

Leo resumes playing with fire staff and charges at the person walking out a classroom, who is revealed to be Principal Perry.

"Aah! Watch the glow stick, cirque du so-lame." Perry says "Sorry, Principal Perry. Just gettin' my Morf on. There's an Alien Gladiators competition tomorrow...""Blah, blah, blah, I hate all that Morf stuff." Perry interrupts Leo

"But Alien Gladiators rule." Leo says "No. I rule. And that's why I'm confiscating this stick. No weapons allowed on school grounds." Perry takes the fire staff from Leo's hand.

"But I need this for the fire staff competition." Leo says "And I need it to unclog my toilet." Perry walks away with Leo's fire staff.

After seeing Perry leaving Chase returns his attention to McKayla leaning on his leg "She's so adorable" he thinks as he lightly messes with her hair, she looks at him and gives a small smile.

At the convention.

Adam, Bree, and Chase walk into convention dressed in character.

Bree, the Queen Andromeda. Wears a black fishtail dress and a high crown.

Adam dressed up as a Space dog and enters imitating a dog.

While Chase, the Gigabit. Wears full plastic gray robot costume, including a robot helmet.

Adam goes to people in line "Please sign my petition to get Space Dog in the next Alien Gladiators. He'll make a solid addition to the team. Bark..." Adam winks "my words." Adam says.

"Will you leave people alone? Nobody cares about Space Dog. And you look ridiculous in that thing." Chase says with his voice muffled due to the robot helmet.

Chase takes off his helmet "Space Dog isn't concerned with looks. Space Dog only protects. And occasionally eats his own vomit." Adam says.

Chase spots McKayla and Paige in the autograph line "Hey there's Macky and Paige" Chase points out.

McKayla, bounty hunter Drea Endor. She wears black boots, a pair of jeans with a utility belt, and a leather vest over a white tank top, that is completed with a ponytail hairstyle and a bow of alien antlers.

While Paige wears normal clothes.

"McKayla!" Bree waves and they get in line."Hey guys, here I saved a place for you" McKayla and Paige make room in line, McKayla looks at Chase who has difficulty walking due to his costume.

"Aw he looks cute" McKayla smiles at him, Chase waves at her "Wow she looks so beautiful...tell her that" Chase thinks.

"Hey Paige, I didn't know you'd be here" Adam says "Eh, I decided to come at the last minute because I love Andre Ethier, you know he's hot and if he's here so am I" Paige says, Bree raises her hand and they both high five "You said it all girl" Bree says.

"So no costume?" Chase asks "Oh I'm on costume. I'm dressed up as someone who has a date later, and doesn't have time to spend changing at home. Do you like it?" Paige takes a walk showing off her look, in a tone of sarcasm, Chase rolls his eyes.

"I don't remember this character, which one of the films is it?" Adam asks, Paige laughs.

"I brought my action figure carrying case for Prince Landor to sign." Chase holds the case "You mean, Andre Ethier." Bree says "No, I mean Prince Landor. Who'd want a baseball player's autograph." Chase mocks "Uh everyone" Paige says.

Chase gales at her, Paige's presence is kind of uncomfortable for Chase, he feels like she's always pressing him without saying anything, he doesn't really know why but it bothers him.

Paige looks at Bree between McKayla and Chase in line "Hey! Don't you feel like getting Andre's autograph first" Paige winks and pulls Bree "What?" McKayla says "What?" Bree says, Paige signals towards Chase "Oooh!" Bree says, Paige nods.

"Oh no, here we go" McKayla thinks, Paige lightly pushes McKayla and makes her bump into Chase and he drops the case.

"Oops sorry!" McKayla says "It's okay...uh can you get it for me? I can't bend down in this outfit" Chase laughs shyly "Oh sure" McKayla takes the case and hands it back to him.

When she returns the case to him, she makes a point of lightly touching his hand, Chase gives an involuntary smile and looks at her, she takes a deep breath and moves her hand away.

Chase looks down shyly "You look beautiful" Chase says quietly, McKayla tilts her head "What?" McKayla asks, Chase clears his throat and looks at her "I said you look beautiful" Chase smiles gently.

McKayla blushes looking at him "Oh uh...you too" McKayla twirls a strand of hair around her finger, Chase looks away with a smile, Adam pokes him.

"You know what Prince Landor needs..." Adam says "If you so much as mention Space Dog to Prince Landor, I will roll up the windows of the spaceship and park you next to the sun." Chase says irritated, McKayla laughs.

They're still in the line

"Just a few more minutes. Just a few more minutes!" Chase says repeatedly excited, McKayla bites her lip with a smile looking at him "It's good to see him excited like this" she thinks.

"You have been saying that for two hours. How long until you stop talking?" Bree tells Chase"Just a few more minutes." Chase smiles.

"Hey, I'm happy we've had all this time in line. It's given me a chance to collect signatures for my Space Dog petition." Adam shows the clipboard "So far, I have Space Dog, Adam Davenport and McKayla" Adam smiles at her.

Bree, Chase and Paige look at her who smiles and gives Adam two thumbs up "Follow your dreams buddy!!" McKayla says pleasantly.

"Eh why not" Paige shrugs and signs Adam's petition "Yeah!" He celebrates.

Caitlin walks up to them in line, She was dressed as Princess Milky Way, who has clothes similar to Bree's, but in navy blue and gold with a smaller crown.

"Hey, guys. Great costumes. I particularly loved yours Paige" Caitlin says sarcastically, Paige smiles sarcastically in response.

"Hey, can I jump in line with you?" Caitlin asks "I don't know, Caitlin. I mean, it's really not fair...""The Morfs pride themselves on being loyal to fellow Morfs, Bree." Caitlin says.

"Of course you can come" McKayla says "What?" Chase says "Come on Chase, she's our friend" McKayla says "No, She's your friend" he thinks "Okay, fine. Come on in." Chase rolls his eyes.

"Thanks." Caitlin smiles "Excuse me, pardon me. Out of the way." Caitlin pushes her way to the front of them.

"Hey Princess Psycho! You can't do that!" Paige says "Oh you're not even a Morf, Paige!" Caitlin says "Oh you will see the Morf right in the middle of your..." Paige threatens to go after Caitlin and Adam holds her back "Thanks Space Dog!" Paige says impatiently.

The Security Man walks up to them "Folks, turnout's higher than expected, so we're cutting off the line. Please don't riot like you did last year. I just got feeling back in my scalp." He says.

"Everyone from this point forward" He draws line between Caitlin and Chase, the rest of the group was right behind him "gets a wristband granting them access to the Andre Ethier autograph signing. Woo-hoo." Security man says.

"What about everyone else?" Chase asks "You get a frustrating story to share in the cafeteria." Security Man says "Are fucking you kidding me?!" Paige says it out loud "Paige, watch your tongue!" Chase says "Oh I'm speaking for everyone, I know you thought the same thing Dirty Boy!" Paige says, Chase frowns at her shaking his head..

"Caitlin!" Bree says, she and McKayla looks at her indignantly "I'm sorry. Do I know you?" Caitlin says, McKayla gasps "You're unbelievable!" McKayla says irritated.

Caitlin is squealing on the line "I can't believe I'm gonna meet Prince Landor. We're gonna be best friends!" Caitlin says excitedly "Oh yeah, I hope he's prepared to get stabbed in the back!!" McKayla says irritated, Paige hugs her.

"Caitlin, we were in line first. We only let you in as a courtesy." Bree says "Which is why I deserve that wristband. What happened to Morf loyalty?" Chase says.

Caitlin scoffs "Get a grip, dude. It's just a movie." Caitlin says "And your morals are fictional too?" McKayla says

Chase looks at McKayla "I can't believe she did this to Macky, so she should be her best friend. McKayla does everything for her and she gives nothing back! It's ridiculous, I'm going to put an end to this!" He thinks.

"Give me that wristband!" Chase attacks Caitlin "Chase no!" McKayla tries to hold him together with Bree "Chase yes!" Paige says, and they all end up on the floor fighting and yelling.

"Oh okay, it's finally worth waiting in line for two hours to see this!" Paige says amidst the chaos.

A young boy who was there walks up to them "Greetings, good Morfs. I am Mindmeldor, spiritual guide, and the most eligible bachelor in the galaxy.* He tells Bree and Paige "Nope? Nothin'?" He says "Only because I have a boyfriend already, Sweetie" Paige smiles just to not make the boy embarrassed, he smiles.

"Uh, the Zarkanians have captured us." The boy says "Not now, nerd." Chase says impatiently and goes to Caitlin.

"Look what you've done. Because of you, I'm gonna miss out on meeting Prince Landor." Chase says "Well, so am I. And now I'm stuck in here with you, Giga-Butt." Caitlin says "Giga-Butt. Really?" Chase says.

Both start arguing indistinctly, McKayla rolls her eyes, she grabs a water gun from her costume belt and sprays both of them with water "Stop. It!" McKayla says irritated.

"I can't stand seeing you two arguing anymore!!" McKayla says "I can't stand him picking on me!" Caitlin says "Because I can't stand you being a rubbish friend to her anymore!" Chase says angryly.

"Oooohh!" Paige, Adam and Bree say, McKayla looks at the two in disbelief, "Excuse me?" Caitlin says "You heard me!" Chase says "Damn!" Paige says.

Caitlin gasps "Oh and who do you think you are, you're not her boyfriend!" Caitlin says, McKayla looks at her indignantly "And you're not her best friend as I can see!" Chase says, McKayla gasps.

"Wow, you're very incoherent, I don't know why McKayla has a crush on you!" Caitlin says "Caitlin shut up!" McKayla screams, Chase's eyes widen slightly at Caitlin's line.

"Silence, Morfs. Halt this bickering, else I will melt thee brains." The boy mimes melting brains, McKayla looks down upset, Caitlin crosses her arms and Chase looks at the boy and sees the opportunity to change the subject "Okay, it's melt thy brains. Learn your Morfian lexicology. This guy...what a loser." Chase scoffs.

He walks to a nearby bench and tries to sit down with difficulty due to custome, McKayla remains motionless without reacting and Caitlin also sits on the bench.

"I can't believe she did that" McKayla thinks.

In the jail cell.

Caitlin in sleeping, leaning on Adam, Bree is on the same bench as them.
McKayla is sitting on the floor hugging her knees, Paige is lying on her shoulder.

Chase walks back and forth and looks at McKayla "Poor Macky. That was weird, but maybe it's an opportunity to tell her that I have a crush on her too. Or not? I should apologize to her and Caitlin. Although it doesn't change the fact that their friendship isn't good for Macky, and I hate seeing her like this" Chase thinks.

Adam sighs "Great. Now I'm stuck in here with a bunch of weirdos." Adam says "Says Bree every Saturday night." Bree smiles sarcastically.

"Are you okay?" Paige asks McKayla "No, I can't trust my best friend and the boy I like just heard that I have a crush on him and I'm not ready to admit that to him" McKayla says upset "Why not?" Paige asks, McKayla shakes her head.

"You don't understand, I imagined the moment I was going to tell him in my mind so many times and it was always perfect, Caitlin just ruined it" McKayla puts her head on her knees and tears run down her face "Aw Mack, don't cry" Paige hugs her with pity.

"Guys, look."Chase points to the keys on the guard's desk, next to a sandwich "Oh! The guard left his sandwich. Chase, you're gonna have to use your molecular kinesis to get it for me." Adam tells Chase.

"Or...I could use it to get the keys." Chase says "After the sandwich." Adam says.

"Um, hello. You cannot do that. If Mindmeldor and Paige realize that three bionic humans are in front of them, we'll become the convention." Bree tells Chase.

"I've got a better idea." Chase says, he walks towards the boy with robot steps "Mindmeldor, make haste." Chase says.

The boy quickly gets up "Is there danger, Gigabit?" He asks "Yes. Our Zarkanian overlord left his keys on the desk." Chase says.

While they distracted the boy to get the keys, Paige paid full attention to McKayla, not realizing that the three bionics were doing.

"Uhg what do I do?" McKayla whimpers "Well, I'll be honest with you M.C. About Chase, if you're not ready, you're not ready. Just try to talk to him, he's your friend he'll understand you" Paige says, McKayla wipes away her tears.

"And as for Caitlin, she really messed up with you. And the least she should do is apologize, and Chase is right she hasn't been a good friend to you" Paige says "That's how she is, It's not her intention to hurt me" McKayla says calmly, Paige rolls her eyes.

"Mack, You are too good, and I absurdly love you for that. But you need to take a stand and tell people the truth, no matter how much it hurts sometimes. Because if you don't do this, people like Caitlin will step all over you. and it won't be lightly. You're going to get really hurt that way" Paige says.

"She's right, maybe I'm too good" McKayla thinks, while Chase unlocks jail cell.

"I did it! I am Mindmeldor! Moooooom!!!" The boy runs away.

"Let's go!" Bree calls Paige and McKayla out of the cell, Caitlin wakes up and sees everyone leaving "Hey!" Caitlin says Adam shuts the jail door "What are you doing?" Caitlin asks "You betrayed us, and Morfs pride themselves on being loyal to fellow Morfs, Caitlin. Later." Chase says irritated.

He was turning to leave when his eyes met McKayla's "Okay, you know you need to be the bigger man in the situation" he thinks, he turns to Caitlin.

"Fine. Forgive me Caitlin, you betrayed us but I was equally immoral in meddling in your friendship with McKayla, I had no right to say whether or not you are a good friend to her. If she's your friend she knows why and no one has the right to change her feelings for you" Chase says, McKayla smiles slightly at him.

Caitlin takes a deep breath "Apology accepted" Caitlin crosses her arms, McKayla looks at her, Caitlin rolls her eyes "You weren't so wrong either, I really wasn't a good friend to any of you. I was selfish and immature I know. I'm sorry" Caitlin tells everyone.

Everyone looks at each other, apparently accepting her apology when Andre Ethier walks in.

"Oh my!!" Paige's eyes widen "Andre Ethier" Bree says flustered "Hey, you guys know where I can change? I got a game tonight, and I don't wanna make the mistake of showing up in this thing again." Andre points to his costume "It's not very flattering on the jumbotron." Andre says while everyone looks at him nervously and in awe.

"I'm going to ask him to sign my bra" Paige says threatening to go towards Andre but McKayla pulls her back "Nope, you won't" McKayla says.

"I'll, uh, I'll tell you where the bathroom is if you give me an autograph." Chase says handing him the case "Baseball fan, huh?" Andre says autographing the case "Nope." Chase says.

"Hey there, Andre, I'm Bree." Bree says "I'm Paige!" Paige says "uh McKayla" McKayla waves "All beautiful names" Andre smiles at her "Oh you're beautiful" Paige says flirty "Thank you" McKayla smiles gently "Thank you, I came up with it myself. Wait. No, I didn't. Who's talking? Hi." Bree says nervously.

Andre returns the autographed case to Chase "Uh, second door on the left." Chase tells him "Thanks. Space Dog. That's brilliant." Andre tells Adam and leaves "I knew it!" Adam celebrates, he, Bree and Chase leave.

McKayla turns to Caitlin "Are you going to get me out of here?" Caitlin asks "Nope" Paige says, McKayla takes a deep breath and approaches Caitlin in the cell.

"Don't you have anything to say?" McKayla crosses her arms "I already said I'm sorry" Caitlin says.

"You know how difficult it is for me to deal with my feelings for Chase, and you tell him that?!" McKayla says upset "He probably didn't even take it seriously" Caitlin says "yes he did, I know him" McKayla thinks "But I did!" McKayla says.

"You are my best friend, you should protect my feelings, not throw them into discussions like cards on the table. You know how personal this is, you also knew how much that meeting Prince Landor was something that I wanted as much as you, and you didn't even think about welcoming me in line with you" McKayla says hurt.

"what?" Caitlin says "A friendship where one friend constantly hurts the other's feelings is not a friendship" McKayla says.

"It was never my intention to hurt your feelings" Caitlin says "I know, but you did. And I can't leave it like that" McKayla says, Caitlin makes an upset face.

McKayla's words actually scare Caitlin, she knows that McKayla is a true friend, the only person in the world that Caitlin really cares about, and she knew that she would love her despite her personality. But at that moment she realized that because she was confident that McKayla wouldn't leave her, she ended up pushing her away.

"I'm really sorry, forgive me" Caitlin whimpers "I promise I will never interfere in your life like that again, I will never interfere in any of this again. I promise I can change" Caitlin says.

"I just can't handle losing the only friend I know who truly loves me, because I'll never find a friend as good as you" Caitlin says "Indeed" Paige says.

McKayla takes a deep breath "I promise you, but I want you to understand that there are now limits" McKayla says "I think it's fair" Caitlin says.

McKayla asks Paige for the cell key and opens it.

Caitlin smiles at her friend "You still love me?" Caitlin says, McKayla rolls her eyes and smiles "I still love you Cait, unfortunately that doesn't change that easy" McKayla says.

McKayla opens her arms and the two hug, Paige joins their hug, McKayla knew that Caitlin was a difficult person to live with. McKayla and Chase are eating ice cream sitting on a bench.

Chase sighs "I'm sorry about everything that happened today, I just wanted to defend you" Chase says, McKayla smiles "I know, and I appreciate it. But I can take care of myself" McKayla says.

"Obviously, but it's inevitable not to want to protect a beautiful little angel like you" Chase thinks "I know, I just don't want you to feel bad about everything that was said" Chase says, McKayla puts the tub of ice cream on the bench.

"Look at what Caitlin said about me having a crush on you" McKayla says "I have a crush on you too, say It!" Chase thinks "She didn't know what she was talking about" McKayla says awkwardly, Chase takes a deep breath "Okay, don't be a fool to say that right now" he thinks.

"She just thinks I have a crush on you... actually everyone thinks I have a crush on you but..." McKayla says nervously "She's not ready for that either" he thinks "It would really be that bad if you had a crush on me?" Chase asks "Wow I actually managed to say that without stuttering!" He thinks.

McKayla looks at him in surprise "Oh uh...I don't know, it would just be..." McKayla says nervously "What?" Chase says "We're friends" McKayla says "Okay, I think maybe this conversation will take me somewhere" she thinks.

If for both of them the problem is ruining their friendship, perhaps this conversation would lead to a consensus.

"Uh yeah, sure...but you know what they say..." Chase says "what?" McKayla asks "Friendship is the best foundation for a relationship" Chase blushes "what am I saying?" He thinks.

"W-where are you going whit this Chase?" McKayla looks around "Nowhere!" Chase says nervously, he gives a weak, shy laugh "I just want to say uh..." Chase swallows hard "Stay calm, you know she likes you so everything will be fine" he thinks.

"I wouldn't think it would be bad for you to have a crush on me, Macky" Chase says "No?!" McKayla asks "Uh-uh" Chase says nervously "are we really having this conversation?" McKayla thinks.

She stays silent for a while which makes Chase uncomfortable and more nervous "you made her uncomfortable, genius. Do something!" He thinks "U-uh I mean, it's just a crush, we spend a lot of time together and we're close... it's normal for things like this to happen" Chase says nervously.

McKayla frowns "What do you mean by that? Just a Crush?!" She thinks "it happens all the time" Chase scratches the back of his head "Okay, that's enough, now shut up!" He thinks "It doesn't happen all the time!" McKayla thinks offended.

"Yeah maybe you're right" McKayla says in a dry tone, Chase sighs "she's mad" he thinks "Maybe this is just a crush for him, nothing more" McKayla thinks taking a deep breath.

"Wait, I don't..." "Okay Chase relax, maybe we really are very close and it makes us confused. That's all...no drama, we're just friends!" McKayla says in an irritated tone "Are we?" Chase asks, without thinking he just had to question it based on her tone of voice.

McKayla looks at him biting her lip in frustration "Look...can we forget everything that happened here?" McKayla sincerely asks "No, this is important!" Chase thinks "I don't think..." "Please!" McKayla says.

"McKayla I didn't mean to say something that would hurt you" Chase says "I know, You didn't. I just said it's okay" McKayla says putting her hair behind her ear.

"It doesn't look like everything is okay" Chase says, McKayla looks at him "I had a rough day Chase, I'm tired and I want you to understand that" McKayla sighs.

"Of course. I just wanted to make sure we were okay" Chase says looking down, McKayla smiles and touches his hair, which at that moment surprises him even more "Of course we're okay" McKayla says calmly.

"It's just painful" McKayla thinks, at that moment a fear arises within her, that this would be another relationship where she would give everything and receive nothing. In this case, she would give her heart completely to something that Chase would see as just a crush. From her point of view.

Chase smiles and takes her hand "What's my problem? I almost ruined everything. Maybe it's better to continue as we are, I'd rather be just her friend forever and still have her in my life, than lose her forever for saying something stupid" Chase thinks.

The two look at each other for a while "I love him so much" McKayla thinks with pain in her heart because she thinks he doesn't love her like she does "I love her so much" Chase thinks in fear of losing her.

Both loving each other in the same way but without knowing.
