After about three weeks when they found a nanny for Ansh, Avantika left to her daughter's home,but not before indirectly warning the couple not to shift rooms in her absence.

Kunj and Twinkle got used to living like roommates.He had to admit that living with Twinkle in the same room didn't feel as intolerable as he thought it would be.Twinkle was very careful in her actions when Kunj was around,that most of the times he wouldn't even realise her presence in his room.He was glad that she knew her role and place in this house that was nothing more than his son's stepmother.She didn't talk to him unnecessarily and whenever she do she would keep it short and precise.

If he didn't think about her that she also didn't give a damm to him.But deep down in her heart she started falling for him.

Twinkle would take care of Ansh's every need. She prepared meals,bathed him,fed him and took care of him just like his mom would have done.It took a few days for Ansh to get adjusted with his nanny but every morning they left home ,he would made a fuzz and Twinkle's heart would hurt to leave him crying like that.

It became a new routine for Kunj to drop Twinkle college before leaving for his work.After returning home she would try to spend all her time with Ansh and would do her college work late in the nights, only after putting Ansh to sleep.

On Friday morning, Kunj was laying down on couch when he heard Ansh's groggy voice.He lifted his head from couch and saw his son making his way out of his room.

Ansh,i am here,Kunj stretched his hand but Ansh went inside the kitchen after glancing at him for few seconds.

'Twinky',Ansh called softly and began searching her in the whole house starting from kitchen.

K-Twinkle is not here.He got up went behind Ansh.'She is bathing '.

Listening this Ansh made his way into their room.
He started tapping on the bathroom door calling Twinkle,'Twinky'

K-Come here kiddo.
He tried to carry him but Ansh wriggles out of his hold and continued tapping on door.

Twinkle opened the door wearing a crop top and black leggings .
T-Good morning my baby.You woke up so early today.She kissed his cheek and carried him on her hip and wiped her hairs with other hand

T-Good morning Kunj.
She greeted him and walked past him into the kitchen.
Her fresh vanilla scent hit his nostrils and melted him like a wax.He stopped himself from following her and went inside bathroom.

When Kunj came down after getting ready,he saw Twinkle carrying Ansh in one arm and flipping omlette with other hand
When Kunj tried to take Ansh he refused to get away from Twinkle

K-Let me help you with this.
He started making omlette

T-Thanks

She bathed Ansh and made him wear fresh pair of clothes then she got ready herself.She fed him before his nanny came to take care of him for rest of the day.

Kunj drove Twinkle to her college and Alisha was standing there at gate as usual waiting for Twinkle.She waved at Kunj when she saw him and he gave her curt nod.His eyes travelled to a handsome,tall guy standing beside Alisha.His eyes sparkled and a smile came on his lips as he saw Twinkle.

Hey,he waved at her with a million dollars smile

Hi,she greeted him with a beautiful smile which Kunj had never witnessed in their 'togetherness'
You aren't together, his inner voice mocked him

He didn't miss the innocent blush on Twinkle's already pink cheeks.She walked away with that guy and Alisha on her other side.She was so involved with the guy that she even forgot to say her usual 'thanks' to Kunj and it jabbed his heart .

He frowned and watched them walk inside before he drove away.

Twinkle, Alisha and Yuvraj were having coffee in cafeteria.Yuvraj was talking to Twinkle about one of his patients when she noticed a deep look of yearning in Alisha's eyes.She felt bad for her and thought to help her in every possible way

Uv- Alright girls i have to go now.He picked up his coat and left.

See you, Alisha chirped and Twinkle just nodded

Once he was ear shot distance away from them Twinkle smirked at Alisha

A-What? Why this stupid smirk is there on your face?

T-Dont you want to tell me something?

A-Mmm i don't think so.
She stammered and was not looking in her eyes

T-Oh really.Let me ask you directly then ,do you like Yuvraj?

A(stammering)--Wha..t no..,i mean yeah i like him but only as a friend.

T(smirking)-You definitely confirmed my doubt.You like him,not just like a friend.Am i right?

Alisha lowered her head with Twinkle's question.

A-I am sorry,i didn't know when it happened but i can't help myself .
I didn't want to hide it but thought what you might think about me for liking him

T-And why you are sorry stupid girl?
And what would i think of you, see it's not like i dated him or something.I am even not in the picture,you don't need to worry about my opinion.
She gently squeezed her hand

A-Really you don't mind if i like him.
She wanted to confirm again

T-Alisha if you are forgetting i am already married to Kunj

A-Oh yeah you belong to handsome hunk now.
She teased her making her blush
A-Oh my god, i can't believe you can blush so much even on the mention of his name .

T-Shut up , don't try to divert the topic.So tell me when you are going to tell your feelings to UV.

A-What i won't tell him anything,if he ever got any feelings for me ,he would come and ask me.

T-And you are going to do nothing till then?What if he starts dating someone else?

A-Then it's his loss.He would miss a beautiful, intelligent and talented woman.She tried to lighten up the mood but worry was clearly visible in her eyes.

Twinkle made a mental note to talk to UV when right time comes.

Alisha hadn't visited Twinj's home yet.Twinkle has invited her many times so she decided to come with her today after work.

Twinky,Ansh came running into her arms as soon as he saw her at the door.

T-Hey my baby. Let me take a quick shower and come back to you.
She kissed his head before walking in her room and came back within minutes.

A-He is so cute.I want to take him with me
She was watching him playing with his toy train which his Dada brought for him last week.

T-Yes he is and i am not gonna give him to you, understood.
She picked him in her arms and kissed his chubby cheeks.

T-Did my baby miss me today?She cooed at his ear

Ansh wound his small arms around her neck and hung closer to her kissing her face as if telling her how much he missed her.
She thanked his nanny Lily , before she left.

Twinkle went in the kitchen and placed her son on the counter as she began making milkshake for him

A-How do you do it, Twinkle?She asked leaning on the door with her arms folded

T-Do what?She looked at Alisha before she looked at Ansh
'Oh no no.... Don't touch that it's still hot shona...She pushed the hot glass of milk away from his reach.

A(continued)-Loving him like he is your own son?

Twinkle stopped whatever she was doing and turned towards her

T(sternly)-He is mine Alisha even if I am not his biological mother and believe me i am doing this because I want to be his mother.I felt a special bond with him right from the first moment we met.So don't you dare ever say this he is not mine once more.
She wasn't angry at Alisha but she that as if she is warning her.

A-I am sorry.

T-Come now, let's sit.

Alisha picked up the two cups of coffee while Twinkle took Ansh in her arms.They were talking when they heard a knock on the door

T-It must be Kunj.

She opened the door as she guessed it was Kunj

K-Hey..he muttered before his eyes went on Twinkle's friend whose name he didn't remember.

T-Kunj, this is my friend Alisha you remember right?
She asked even when she knew that he had no idea who she was.She didn't want Alisha to feel that she never mentioned anything about her to Kunj.

K(fake smiling)- Offcourse i remember Twinkle,Hi Alisha.

A-Hi Kunj jiju,she stood up with courtesy.

K-Twinkle I'll be inside.He pointed at his study.

T-Sure, I'll bring your coffee.

He bend to kiss Ansh before leaving.

A-Twinkle i should be going now, see you on Monday .
She hugged Twinkle and ruffled Ansh's hairs playfully
A-See you kiddo

In evening Ansh insisted watching a cartoon movie. Kunj came out to see Ansh warmly sitting on Twinkle's lap
resting his head on her chest tucked in between her arms.

K-Hey buddy,do you want to go to park with me?
He asked Ansh , making him jump out of Twinkle's hold.Kunj hadn't taken him out lately so he thought to take him today.

'Palk Palk Palk' Ansh started jumping infront of him asking Kunj to lift him

K-Okay okay let's go.Kunj chuckled at his excitement carrying him.
Twinkle went in Ansh's room to bring some warm clothes for him.

It was a little cold outside because of raining and Ansh was sensitive to cold weather so they have to take some precautions.

Bye,she said making him wear his wollen cap.

Twinky come ,he pulled her dupatta when he realised that she wasn't coming with them.

K-Twinkle you can come with us to park.He suggested when he saw his son wouldn't't leave without her.

A-Twinky palk...come.
Ansh jumped into her arms and asked her placing his tiny palms on her cheeks.

T-Okay just give me a minute.She gave him back to Kunj and came back after changing her clothes.

They went park Twinkle carrying Ansh and Kunj walking beside them silently.

A-Twinky five little monkeys.
He clapped his hands and asked Twinkle to sing along with him

She felt a little embarrassed in front of Kunj but did eventually.They started singing rhymes like everyday they do while going to park.

Kunj was surprised to see Ansh can sing so many nursery rhymes.He had never got the time to teach him all this because of his business.He couldn't believe that Twinkle managed to teach him so many things just in three weeks.

K-Do you want me to carry him?
He asked seeing her discomfort

T-Sure.She tried to give Ansh to Kunj
who refused to go to his dad.

A-No dada,Twinky.He turned away and tightened his arms around Twinkle's neck.

K-Ok then,i wouldn't carry you next time if you ask me buddy.
Kunj groaned at him.Twinkle tried to suppress her laugh but failed miserably.

Kunj was surprised with Ansh's attachment with Twinkle.Was it simply because Ansh had never got a mother's love and warmth before?Would he have been so attached to anyone else in place of Twinkle?Was was it because Twinkle really takes good care of him?He kept pondering on it until they park.

Ansh let down and he ran towards his friends.Twinkle waved at other mothers present there.They waved back at her and started talking how good they both look with each other.Twinkle became a bit uncomfortable with all the eyes on her

K-Come let's sit.
He motioned through his hand towards a bench.Both sat on the bench with a proper distance between them.Kunj faked being busy with phone while Twinkle kept an eye on Ansh.

After sometime they went back home.
Twinkle started preparing dinner while Kunj bathed Ansh.

K (whispered)- Ansh do you like Twinkle?Is she good with you when I am not around you?

Twinky, Ansh squealed happily in response , which gave Kunj an idea how much Ansh likes his Twinky

K-I am glad you liked her, after all she is not that bad.

He wrapped a towel around Ansh and took him in room before dressing him in his night dress.

They had dinner together and Ansh wanted to be fed by his Twinky.Kunj watched her intently as she kept talking to their son while feeding him.

Twinkle started to clean dishes and Kunj decided to put Ansh to sleep.

Dada Twinky,Ansh said rubbing his eyes.

K(exclaimed)-Seriously Buddy, few weeks back it was me who used to do everything for you and you were fine with it. Now all you want is your Twinky.Did she cast an enchanting spell on you?
He sounded so stupid to himself too.

'Twinky',Ansh mumbled again

K-Fine let me go and call her
He said getting up from his bed.

K-Twinkle,can you come here please?

T- What happened?
She came running to Ansh's room.

K-He is asking for you.
He walked out of room.

Twinkle went and lay down beside Ansh,he immediately put his head on her chest and cuddled her.

A-Twinky story.

Twinkle started telling him a story and he slept within minutes.

Twinkle walked into their after a while.Kunj was laying down on bed .

K-Did he sleep?

T-Yeah
She cleared the things from couch before she got on it.

Kunj switched off the lights and again lied down.There was complete silence in the room after that.Kunj was thinking about Twinkle.He didn't think that he would be able to "CHANGE HIS OPINIONS" about someone in such a short span of time.
He was grateful to his mom for finding someone like Twinkle who was so sensible and kind hearted.

K-Twinkle

T-Hmm

K-Good night

Twinkle was so shocked .She couldn't stop grinning and was glad that it was dark in the room.It was first time that he was wishing her himself.

T-Good night
She managed to say and slept with a smile on her face.
