Kunj took home Twinkle that night. She lost her one last ray of hope who could help them with the case. She kept thinking what Tanya was afraid of.

Was she scared of Abhishek?

Did he threaten her?

Now what? Who was going to solve the mystery for them?

Both of them couldn't sleep peacefully that night.

Kunj returned to Tanya's flat early the next morning and waited in her car for her. When he noticed her coming out of the building,he went near her with long strides and stopped in front of her.

Oh my gosh! Tanya was shocked to see him standing out before she could compose herself."Kunj, i told you not to come here."
She said nervously looking around.

K-Look Tanya, you are our only hope, the only son who can give our son a better chance in life. Please tell me what you know and i promise you that i wouldn't let anyone hurt you. What are you so bothered about? Please tell me. He pleaded to make her understand his situation.

Tanya's expression turned helpless when she heard Kunj bringing up thr topic about Tara's son, 'I am sorry Kunj, but I can't do this, leave now.
She got inside her car without listening him any further.

Kunj exhaled, giving up on Tanya and drove back to work. If Natasha was oblivious to these things, then there was no way Tara had shared her secrets with anyone else. Tanya was the closest of her friends and if she couldn't help them then no one else could. Now, he didn't know what he was supposed to do?

Who could tell him what happened to Tara?

From everything he read on that diary, he was sure Abhishek was not the right one to raise Ansh. He couldn't trust his child with that bastard.

Tanaya pulled the car on the parking lot of the grocery store where she worked now. It had been five years since that horrific incident happened, but it still felt like yesterday for her. Even though she wanted to forget it, she couldn't. There was not a single day when it didn't haunt her. Her own guilt was killing her but she was helpless and afraid of Abhishek.

'How long are you going to live in fear, Tanya?' Her self consciousness taunted her.'Tara was your best friend and don't you think she deserves justice?'

T- Fuck, I can't do this.
She felt restless the whole day at work. She couldn't turn a deaf ear to Kunj when he was in so much need of her help and support. Sne sighed and got up to take an early leave.

Twinkle was in her room going through her class notes since she had exam the next afternoon. Kunj had just arrived home and was in the shower.

When he came out,he was bare chested and his wet hair was tossed back. Twinkle secretly ogled at his muscular chest which was so perfectly sculpted, his ripping biceps and then the V cut on his waist.

She felt a tingle travel down her core and her heart skipped a couple of beats seeing her husband's well chiseled features. She was so busy in admiring his body that she hadn't noticed him staring back at her until she heard him clear his throat. They both fell into silence but their eyes glued to each other. He knew what she wanted, something he too craved from Twinkle, only from Twinkle but she was being too stubborn and haughty lately and he felt annoyed about it.

Twinkle swallowed against her suddenly dry throat feeling awkward being caught shamelessly ogling at him. It had been weeks since they talked and interacted like a normal couple but she had to admit that she was missing him like hell. She never thought she would someday come to miss his touches, his kisses and his hands all over her. Even though she was trying, her body was craving for Kunj and she wonder how she could have no control over her own senses when it came to Kunj.

Gratefully she heard Avantika calling her from the living room, saving her from the awkwardness. Before she could leave her bed, Avantika knocked at the door and slightly opened the door.

A-Kunj , someone is here to see you.

K- I'll be there in a minute mom.
He quickly pulled out a black t-shirt and threw it over his head before he strode out to see who had came home without informing . To say he was shocked would be an understatement.

Tanya? He froze on his tracks when he saw her standing hesitantly near the door. Twinkle was also greatly surprised to see her here. She never expected Tanya to come here. If she was here, then it only meant that she was ready to help them.

Ta- I'm sorry to show up unannounced but I couldn't be at peace after you left. I know somethings that I want to tell you both. She said nervously

She went closer to Ansh and ruffled his hair, He's grown up. She commented with a painful smile.

T- Thanks for coming Tanya. Please have a seat. Twinkle went near her and sat on the couch beside her. Kunj sat near Twinkle while Avantika took Ansh inside.

A long silence lingered in the room for a few minutes. Tanya didn't know where to start and kept staring at the coffee table in front of her until Twinkle sighed deeply.

T-Tanya, we are glad you are here to help us. We read Tara's diary and found out that she was going to Abhishek's flat to pack her things from there and you was going to accompany her that evening. That was her last page in her diary after that she completely stopped writing it.
She saw Tanya nodding her head as jf she already knew it.
We want to know what happened to Tara there? How did she end up getting pregnant with Abhishek's child when she didn't want to be with him anymore?

Ta- First of all Kunj, Tara didn't cheat on you. She shook her head sorrowfully. She loved you so much and sne wanted to spend the rest of her life with you. Tanya said closing her eyes and inhaling deeply to control her emotions as she recollected Tara's words.

Tanya began to narrate as she still remembered every single detail.

You were on a week's trip to Europe. I was supposed to go with Tara to Abhishek's apartment but unfortunately that night my elderly aunt had a stroke and I had to rush her to the hospital since she had no one to take care of her.

I had asked Tara to drop the plan and insisted that we could go there later but she refused to listen to me. She said that she had to do it before you were back from the trip. She was scared that you might leave her if you get to know that she had been keeping her previous relationship with Abhishek a secret. She wanted to end all the ties with that bastard before you were back.

I kept calling her the whole night to check if Tara was back home safely but she never returned any of my calls. I was worried for my friend because I knew what kind of a dangerous person Abhishek is.

The first thing I did the next morning
was to come to your place to check up on Tara and as I expected, Tara was hurt and bruised, very badly. When I touched Tara, her body was burning like a hot iron and she looked like a complete mess.

I right away knew something was wrong. I kind of guessed what could have happened at Abhishek's place and regretted greatly for not going there with her.

When I asked her what happened, Tara broke down into tears. She kept crying in my arms, unable to bring out her voice.

Flashback:-

Tara had gone to Abhishek's place early in the evening. She used her spare key to enter the flat since she thought he must have gone out but she gasped at his presence in the dark. He sat in one corner, drinking. He had been home the whole day, expecting her arrival.

Hi Abhi, she greeted him to act normal but only got a terrifying glare from him in return. With trembling legs, she walked into the room to pack her things as fast as she could. Her whole body was shaking but all the while she kept checking if he was still sitting on the same spot.

Within an hour,she was done and breathed out in relief.
T-Abhi, I'm done. She informed him. He got up and walked near her with heavy steps.

A-So , you are done with me. He asked through gritted teeth.

T-No..No..No.. that's not what I meant Abhi. I..I. Said I'm done packing my things. She stumbled back when she hit the wall behind her.

A- How's your new boyfriend?

T-He..He is good. She flinched with the strong smell of alcohol from his mouth and tried to look everywhere but at him.

A- Yeah, he must be good because there isn't any reason for you to leave me. Tell me, does he fuck you better than I did?Huh? He cupped and pressed his nails on her cheeks, making her wince.

T-Abhishek, you are hurting me. Please let me go. She shivered in pain and fear.

A- Let you go. No way, you bitch. I have been waiting for this moment from a very long time. You think I will just let you walk out after everything we had been through? Huh? He gritted through his teeth.

T- Please Abhishek, I am sorry for leaving you but we weren't happy with each other. Her voice faltered terribly.

A- I don't believe that. We were happy. You were happy with me until you met that billionaire. You got bored of only after meeting him at that party, am i right?
He rasped in a murderous low groan that sent shiver ran down her spine.

T- Y...You.. spied on me. Her eyes widened in shock.

A- Offcourse I did! What did you think? I will let you go to your mom's house just with a few fake tears of yours? He snorted at her mockingly. I knew you were upto something when you were being unusually too sweet to me that night. I wanted to see to what extent you could go, if I let you free and you proved my doubts correct by going around and fucking that asshole behind my back. He seethed through his teeth.

You need to be punished for cheating one. He grabbed her neck and began to choke her. She flinched and scratched at his hand to free herself from his clamp like hold but her strength was nothing in front of his. She began to loose her consciousness and eyes began to roll back into the socket before
slipping down on the floor.

He pulled her up from the floor and dragged her into his bedroom before roughly shoving her on the bed.

For a fraction of second she opened her eyes and realised that she was in grave danger, she began to kick him away and crawl away from her. He stopped her holding her arms and bringing her closer to him than before.

T- Abhishek, please stop it. Please... Please... I beg you.

A- You know you are only getting me more into the mood by begging like this, day. He whispered against her face. He quickly began to undo his pants and Tara took this chance to make a run for her life. She kneed at his crotch, causing him to groan loudly. She ran out of the bed and made it to the door but to her dismay,he pulled her long hair making her scream.

You little whore, where do you think you are going? The next minute, she was back on his bed, trapped under his heavy body.

For Tara the night was long and painful. She never imagined that she would become a rape victim bu non other than her ex boyfriend. She hated herself for ever met him.

She didn't dare to cry or move from the fear that she would once again wake up the monster within him. She patiently remained still and when she was sure that Abhishek was sleeping, she willed herself to get up and escape from this hell.

She quickly gathered herself and made it safely out of his flat. She didn't bother about her things that she had come to collect at the first place nor her torn dress that was revealing her bruised skin. Alls she wanted was to run away from him.

She ran all the way back to Kunj's place bare footed. She only stopped only when she was inside his house. She slammed the door shut behind her and locked the door, windows and anything else through which she thought Abhishek could get in.

She fell on the bed and began to pent out all her fear and anger in the form of tears. Her body was still trembling.

'Stupid girl', she yelled and slapped herself hard on the cheek. Why did you go there? Why? Why? Why? Why? She pulled her hair in both her hands out in frustration and misery.
Her screams echoed within the empty rooms of the house.
heart would never.

She stood under the shower and began to cry into loud howl, thinking about it. She was startled when she heard her phone ring but she didn't dare to pick it up. She feared that it would be Kunj and hearing his voice she might cry and spill out her dark secret to him. He might not want her after that,she thought. She had grown
so fond of him that she thought it would be impossible to live without him.

He weak legs dragged her out of the bathroom and she fell on the bed, wrapping her naked body with Kunj's comforter. His scent was still lingering on it and it made her felt warm and secure. She felt as if he was near her and she wasn't alone. She hugged his pillow and cried until the tiredness consumed her.

The next morning she was woken up by the nagging ring of the doorbell. Her body immediately began to quiver thinking it was Abhishek but to her relief, she heard Tanya's voice followed by several bangs on the door.

Ta- Tara, are you inside there? She shouted from outside.

Tara ran to open the door and lunged herself in her arms.

Ta- Oh my god! What happened to you? I have been calling you since yesterday night. Why didn't you... She stopped midway when she saw the scratch marks and bruises on Tara's otherwise spotless skin.' What the heck is all this?'

Tara broke down in her arms and kept sobbing, saying incoherent words.

Ta- Tara, please calm down. What did Abhishek do to you? Tanya peeled herself from Tara and looked at her.

T- He...He....raped...me... Tanya.. Her sobs turned into hiccups.

Tanya thought she lost her ability to speak, He did w...what?

Tara's cries became louder.

Ta - Let's go to the cops now. She roared. He shouldn't be left free after what he did to you. She insisted on pulling Tara on her feet.

T-No Tanya , i cannot do that. What if Kunj comes to know about it. I cannot put my relation with Kunj at risk. I love him. I will die if he rejects me. She neglected her friend's idea.

Ta-But letting Abhishek go unpunished for his crimes isn't fair, Tara. I am sure we can hide it from Kunj. She argued to her. When is Kunj coming back.

T-Next week. She mumbled.

Ta- Then we have enough time. Let's file a complaint against Abhishek.
I have my friend in the police department. I can ask her help if you want to.

Tara nodded uncertainty and decided to listen to her friend.

Later that afternoon, Abhishek was arrested for assaulting and raping Tara. Tanya's female friend who was acop promised to keep a low key on the case. Abhishek was imprisoned for two months but since there wasn't enough evidences against him, he was released soon after, with just a restraining order against him.

When Kunj was back to Amritsar after a week, Tara faked a huge smile on her face. She maintained a straight face and her expression giving nothing away. The bruises too had disappeared from her body and when Kunj noticed the stubborn ones, she shrugged saying she fell down from the stairs.

A month later Tanya came to Kunj's house shaking like a leaf. When Tara asked why, she said Abhishek had came to meet her and showed her a video of Tara getting raped. He threatened her to leak it out if they dared to file any more complaints against him.

Tara and Tanya gave up the Idea of throwing him into the jail and learnt to live with it.

Though she knew that the chances for it were slim, she hoped that the baby was yours and not Abhishek's .

I was the only one who saw her suffer. Her guilt was taunting her and at the same time, she didn't want to loose you.When Ansh was born, she tried to find any resemblance to you but she found none and we were sure that he was that monster's. She was scared that you might find it but you didn't.
She paused and looked at Kunj.

She still couldn't come to accept the fact that the child was Abhishek's. So, she took a paternity test and confirmed that Ansh was indeed Abhishek's. She didn't want to have Abhishek's child but she also couldn't come to hate her own baby. You loved him and cared for him. She was sure that by telling you the truth both she and Ansh would lose you. She couldn't afford to lose you, Kunj. She wanted Ansh to be with his dad.

And suddenly one day, she asked me to stop meeting her because whenever we both met, we had only sad things to discuss about. She wanted to forget everything and move on... Live a happy life with you and Ansh. So I did what she asked me to.
I stopped talking and meeting her forever... Her voice cracked at the end as she sobbed.

I had seen Abhishek many times following me. I was scared about his threat and the video that he had but I guess it doesn't matter anymore. Tara is gone but she deserves justice. I can tell this in the court if you want,Kunj
because Ansh deserves loving parents like you both which Abhishek would be never be. I want to do this for my bestie... She said confidently.

Kunj was speechless and tears were rolling down his cheeks. All this time he was thinking that Tara had cheated on him but he had never expected this. What hurt him more that she didn't trust him enough to tell what Abhishek had done to her. She could have stopped all this from happening and Abhishek would have been rotting in jail by now.

Twinkle touched his hand softly pulling him out of the daze. She felt sorry for him. She didn't know what he was thinking but she was sure that he was in pain.

K- Thank you, Tanya. We will submit this diary in the court and your support is what we need to prove our claims. Don't worry about Abhishek and his threats. I promise to keep you safe from him.

Ta- I don't worry about that anymore, Kunj. She smiled and assured him. I just want justice for my friend.

K- And i promise you that as well.
