After walking out of Kunj's house Sudha was inconsolable.No amount of comforting words from Natasha and her dad helped to decrease her suffering.Ansh was the only connection that she had with her dead daughter but now Kunj was purposely going to make them stay away from him.She had never imagined Kunj would ever do that to them.He was completely different person when he was with Tara but after Twinkle came into his life,he became totally opposite.

Earlier they all thought that his coldness towards them was because of Natasha's carelessness which led to Tara's accident but soon they realised it was just a reason to keep Ansh away from them.

S- It's all because of that new woman in his life, Natasha.She doesn't want us to visit them.She has already made Kunj her puppet.Now I am never going to see my grandson again.
She sobbed into her tissue.

N-Mom please stop now.You haven't eaten anything in the last few days.
Natasha forced the spoon of rice in her mouth.

S-Go away, it's all your fault.You gave them the reason to drive us away from their home.Why did you have to hit Ansh? Don't you have that much control on your actions?
She chided pushing the spoon away.

N-I am sorry mom.I know i shouldn't have slapped Ansh but i promise to do anything to make this all right.All i am asking you is to give me some time to think about it.... please.She begged and tried to feed her again.

S(angrily)- Leave it here and get out. Don't show me your face until you didn't come up with a chance for me to meet my grandson.

Natasha exhaled before leaving the room quietly.She pulled out her phone and called Kunj.She swallowed her pride for the sake of her mother and decided to beg Kunj once more to let them meet Ansh.

K-What do you want now, Natasha?
His annoyance was clear in his voice.
He was at work after long and hard so much to catch up when he received her call.

N-Kunj,mom hadn't eaten anything after we left.Please....let her alone see Ansh.Think about it,Kunj.I accept what I did was blunder but why do mom has to suffer because of it?How could you keep Ansh away from her mother's parents?Would you have done the same if Tara was still alive?
Now that she is no more and you have a new wife,you are keeping Ansh away from us,is that even acceptable?

Kunj remained calm and thought about it.Natasha was hitting him on the right spots and she was right,he wouldn't have done this if Tara was alive.She would have wanted her mother to meet Ansh often.

He sighed rubbing his forehead.
K-Alright, but only your parents can meet Ansh and only once a week , preferably on a weekend.

N- That's great,Kunj.Thank you so much. It's Friday today and I'll drop mom at your place.

K-No, I'll be taking Ansh to the park in
the evening.She can come there if she wants to meet him.
He said in his ice cold tone.He would no more want them to come home and dominate Twinkle.

N-Okay.She was furious at him for suggesting to meet Ansh outside but she was not in the position to express her anger on him.'I will bring mom to the park at 5 in the evening.

K- Natasha, remember i don't want you to come there.
He warned her before hanging up the call.

She squeezed her eyes to control her furry and walked back to her mother's room.

N-Mom...Kunj agreed to let you meet Ansh today.She announced as she entered Sudha's room

S-He agreed?Does it mean i will get to see Ansh today?

N-Yes mom. Let's get ready. I will drop you at the park.She gently pulled her up from bed.

S-At the park?And you are not coming to see Ansh.She asked being stunned.

N(mumbling)-Umm..yes..mom... Kunj doesn't me there when you meet him and he doesn't want you at his home.

S-What has that witch done to him? The Kunj we knew would never do something like this.
She said through gritted teeth.

N-I know mom,he has changed so much after marrying that witch but there is nothing we can do right now.
Go and meet Ansh first, meanwhile i will see what I can do to make this all right.Her mom nodded halfheartedly.

In an hour, Natasha dropped Sudha outside the park and remained inside her car.She watched as Kunj pulled his car in the parking lot.Her eyes shifted to Twinkle who was carrying Ansh out of the car. Twinkle's eyes met with Natasha's for a split second but turned away ignoring her presence.

Natasha felt like clawing her eyes out.
She hated her beyond explanation.She wanted to do something but didn't know what exactly had to be done.Kunj was Ansh's father and there was no way she could take away Ansh from him but she swore she would go to any extent to be a part of Ansh's childhood.

Sudha was waiting for Ansh in the park and her lips widened into a smile when she saw Kunj carrying Ansh towards her but her smile died down when she saw Twinkle coming behind them.

K-Namaste....Kunj greeted her.

S-Ansh my Baby!She completely disregarded Kunj and stretched her hands to take Ansh.

K-Buddy,I will be there on that bench with mumma.Okay?
He patted her son and walked near the bench with Twinkle.

T-Will he be ok with her,Kunj?From where Twinkle was seated, she could easily see that Ansh's gaze was fixed on her.He seemed scared and slightly agitated but she knew that she had no choice other than to wait for those thirty minutes to get over,so that she could take him back into her arms.

K-He will be fine,Jaan,don't worry. She assured her tucking the loose strands of hair behind her ear.

N-So how's Ansh,mom? She asked her mom on the way back home.

S-He didn't interact much and kept looking at that woman.I don't understand what she has done to them. It's just a matter of time that we would mean no one to Ansh.I don't want that to happen, Natasha.He is my daughter's son.

Natasha saw her mom silently weeping.She felt like her heart would explode seeing her like this.

She partly blamed herself for all this.
She should have been a bit more patient with Ansh that day.At least they could have stayed with them that way.

Days passed but the things with Natasha's mom were nothing near normal.Sudha always remained in her daze and snapped for every little thing around her.

Natasha didn't know how to rectify her mistakes and when there was nothing in her hands,she decided to take off her mind from all this by unpack the box that she got from her sister's house months before.

When she opened the box there were a couple of pictures of them together , making her smile at each memory.
There were some dresses which she had left at Tara's place,then there were a few jewels and accessories which Tara wanted to give her.She cleared them all and placed in her shelf.When she was about to throw the box away, her eyes fell on the envelope hidden between the box's bottom wings.She placed it back on the bed and pulled out the envelope.
It had the name of hospital written where Ansh was born.

She wondered how it ended in this box.Initially, she thought it was some medical report from the time of her delivery but peeling it open ,her eyes landed on what just felt like a powerful thunder on her.PATERNITY TEST.

Why on earth would Tara take a paternity test? She asked herself repeatedly .She was standing still but her mind was playing havoc as she read reports fully ,which concluded that Kunj was not Ansh's biological father.

How could she not know this before?
Why did Tara kept something so significant from her own family?She questioned herself.

She understood Tara would have been scared of how Kunj would react to it,but why did she have to hide it from her own sister when she believed that they had never kept secrets from each other.

She began to think of all possibilities of who could be Ansh's biological father of not Kunj.

Natasha was aware that Tara lost her virginity when she was in her first year of the college to the guy she dated for a year.Then she dated a few guys but her long term relationship was with Abhishek with whom she spent two years.

She was still living- in with Abhishek when she first met Kunj at a party that they all attended as a family.
She recalled how attracted Tara felt towards Kunj that evening.After that she went on frequent dates with Kunj
and all she could talk to Natasha was about how great Kunj was with her.

Before Natasha could understand what was going on between Kunj and her sister,Tara confessed that she wanted to break up with Abhishek and wanted to move out of his house.

N-Sir , this is my nephew's paternity report and I just want to know if there has been a mistake.

The doctor took the report from her hand and looked into it.Then he shifted to his laptop and fed in the registration number from the report into his screen,Miss there is no chance that this report is false since the test was taken three times to confirm.He pushed his laptop near her and showed her all three tests which indicated the same thing.

While she was on the way to her home, Natasha felt breathless and completely demented.She never imagined that she would find out her sister's darkest secret like this.Now that she pondered over it,she felt like she hadn't known the woman she had spent her entire childhood with.

She couldn't sleep a wink that whole night.As she did was to pace across her room, thinking about it and when it dawned ,she had a wide smile on her face because she knew ,this was a chance that God had given them to claim Ansh's custody.She even believed that it was Tara's will for Ansh to grow up in their care instead of Kunj and Twinkle.

The night was more than enough for her to come up with a solid plan.

She freshened up and drove to the building where she remembered Tara's ex boyfriend Abhishek staying and knocked on the door urgently.It was an old rusty two bedroom Natasha had no idea what he did for a living but Tara had told her that he was a bike racer.

It took Abhishek forever to open the door.The strong smell of cigarettes and alcohol penetrated through her nostrils when he pulled the door open.He looked messy in a very odd manner.His upper body was bare while his jeans was pulled up but the
zip was left open.

A-Natasha,what are you doing here?
He was slightly taken a back.
Last time he saw her was a few years back at a night club with Tara.

N-I came here to....
She trailed off when her eyes moved behind him at the half naked woman.
Now she understood what took him so long to open the door.

A-Hello.He snapped his fingers in front of her to bring her back.

N-Oh sorry....I would like to talk to you in private.

A-About what?
He placed his elbow on the door frame and narrowed his eyes at her.

N- It's something that concerns you and Tara...

A-Tara ?He shook his head negatively.
There's nothing left that concerns both of us.

N-What if I have a proof?She raised her chin challengely. You should have a look at this.She handed him the reports that looked like mere piece of paper to him at first.

A-Kunj is the guy for whom she left me, right?He looked up from report at her.

N-Yeah...she nodded.

A-So turns out that the guy is not her son's father?

N-Exactly,she nodded her head once again.

A-But why are you showing this to me?He questioned fluttering the sheet in front of her face.

A-What the fuck? How are you so sure that it's my child?Your sister wasn't a saint,you know that very well.She had been with many men before she even met me.

N- Don't you dare insult Tara like that.
I know she had dated many men but she was loyal to you when she was with you.If the child is not Kunj's then it's definitely yours.

A-I don't believe this.He snarled at her.

N-Look,I am not asking you to take responsibility for Ansh.I just want you to help me till I get his full custody from Kunj.I will give you whatever you want in return.I promise.
She requested with hopeful eyes.

The girl behind him was fully dressed now and walked out of the flat silently after getting her tip from him.

Abhishek thought about it for a while. He was in desperate need of money and at this point of his life,he would agree to do anything that would fetch him some money.

A-What do you want me to do?He asked after a long pause.

N-Just wait for a couple of days.I will tell you what needs to be done exactly.

A-Okay, call me to my number when you needed me.
They exchanged their numbers.

The first thing Natasha did after reaching home was to send a copy of reports at Kunj's address.She decided
against telling her mother anything
before completely making sure of it.

She patiently waited three long days for Kunj's call.When she didn't receive his call,she believed that the mail might not have reached Kunj since,there was no way Kunj wouldn't react if had seen it already.

She was losing her patience and was about to call Kunj,when her phone rang loudly.

Then the heated conversation happened between them.

She exhaled heavily .This was exactly the reaction she was expecting from Kunj.There was a slight doubt in his voice but that would be cleared soon,she thought mentally.

Then she dialled Abhishek's number
N-Hello,can you come and meet me today?

A-Sure, where do you want me to come?

N- I'll share the location. It's my lawyer's office and I'll be there in an hour.

A-Alright, I'll be there soon.

Shortly,they were at her lawyer's office.
L-So ,you want to claim your son's full custody?He asked studying the reports.

N-Yes sir,she urged Abhishek to reply with a curt nod.

L-But it isn't that easy since the boy had been living with them his whole life.We wouldn't be able to win this case without going through a dirty battle.Is that what you want?
He asked raising his glasses.

N- Absolutely it's my sister's last wish. We don't want the child to be growing under them.None of them are biologically related to Ansh and i highly doubt that they would be able to take proper care of my nephew , especially that woman Twinkle....she is unfit to bring up a child.
She kept her face blank as she said those words.

L-Okay,then let's send a legal notice to Mr. Kunj Sarna.He called in his assistant and ordered her to prepare a notice to send it to Kunj.

Natasha let out a sly smile towards Abhishek.It was finally happening. Ansh was going to be hers soon.
