After Natasha and her mom left, they had been trying to contact Kunj , asking him to let them see Ansh on weekends but he strictly refused to do it.
He said Natasha had lost all the chances to meet Ansh after hitting him.Once,he only let Sudha meet Ansh and that too in a nearby park just for half an hour.

Weeks later,Ansh plaster was to be removed so they came to the hospital and Twinkle was waiting outside the doctor's cabin when she saw Mahi passing through the corridor.

If not for a surprise look on Mahi's face, Twinkle would have turned away and tried to ignore her but it was too late for that since she was standing almost in front of her.

M- Twinkle,what are you doing here?
She asked eyeing her up and down.

T-Umm... I am here for my son.
She gestured at his broken arm that's when her eyes fell on her hand rubbing her slightly protruding belly.

M-Ohh.. I am here for my monthly check up.There was so much arrogance and unnecessary pride in her voice.'I hope mom has told you that I am three months pregnant'.

T-Wow! Congratulations to both of you.
She was genuinely happy for her sister.

Kunj was walking back to Twinkle from reception when he saw her talking to her half sister.When he came near them he heard Mahi told Twinkle that she is pregnant.

When Twinkle felt Kunj's presence behind her she turned
T-Kunj, Mahi is pregnant.
She beamed enthusiastically at him and he felt an unknown feeling tugging at his heart.

K- Congratulations to you and Varun.

M-Thanks Kunj...By the way Twinkle, what about you?

Twinkle blinked innocently
T-What about me??

M(smirking)-Why aren't you pregnant yet? I mean you got married before me, so you must be the first one to get pregnant.

T-I already has a child.She looked down at Ansh innocently.

M-Twinkle,I am talking about your own child.Your own flesh and blood , not someone else's child.She rolled her eyes at Twinkle.

Twinkle was holding the string of her patience. Why did she always have to remind she isn't Ansh's biological mother? No matter what, Ansh was her son.Sbe was about to open her mouth to lash back at her when Kunj said,

K-Mahi,you know how busy Twinkle already is with Ansh and her exams.
I don't want to stress her with a baby now.We were waiting for her studies to get over so, you can very soon except some good news, isn't it darling?

He turned to Twinkle,her eyes were wide with shock and embarrassment.
He didn't want to give Mahi the satisfaction of seeing Twinkle hurt,but that was not the only reason he told her this .

K-Where is Varan,by the way?I didn't see him anywhere.

M-He didn't come with me,he had an important meeting.
Her voice stammered and there was a sudden change in her expression.

K-He didn't come with you? I would have never let my Twinkle come alone for her monthly checkup no matter how important the meeting is.

Kunj enjoyed the mortified look on Mahi's face.She clearly hadn't expected that from Kunj, making her realise she should think twice before talking to Twinkle like that when he is around.

Twinkle was standing there thinking what was going around her and what she was supposed to say. Thankfully she heard a nurse calling Kunj's name.

T-We should be going now,Mahi.Take care of your health.

M-Huh whatever.
She muttered and controlled the urge to stomp her foot on the floor.She wanted to stangle Varun for not agreeing to accompany her to the hospital.She hadn't missed to notice the changing behaviour of her husband.He was giving her least to no attention from the past few weeks and she wondered what was wrong with him.She wished Varun to be like Kunj who never hesitate to kiss and love Twinkle in front of anyone.She huffed and walked away.

As they walked out of hospital Ansh's arm was free from the sling and he couldn't be less happy about it.He kept calling his mumma and dada to show them that he didn't have plaster anymore.

At night when Ansh had slept,they both were seated on the couch watching a web Twinkle's eyes were fixed on the Tv screen but her mind was wandering somewhere else.She kept thinking why Kunj had to lie to Mahi about something like that, which was nowhere near the reality.

When Kunj looked at her he noticed that she was being quieter than usual.He shifted closer to her facing her and instantly knew that she was lost in her thoughts.

K-Twinkle, where are you lost?
But he got no response then he shook her shoulder.

T-Huh?She came back in reality

K-I asked what are you thinking about?

T-Me, uhh nothing. She tried to hide it with a smile on her face and got up.

K-Uh..huh , where are you going?Sit here... We need to talk.
He switched off the tv and pulled her closer to him
'Baby ,are you upset or something about what i said to Mahi in the hospital today?'

She remained silent confirming his doubts.
T-I am not upset but you didn't have to lie to her about something like that you know.
She said in a feeble voice.

K-Not everything i said today was a lie,Jaan. Twinkle furrowed her eyebrows at his words,
I know we haven't discussed this topic before but i thought about it many times.I just didn't know how to bring it up to you.I want to thank Mahi for making this easy for me,baby. I think we should plan for a baby, Twinkle.

He threw his arms over her shoulder and brought her face closer to his.

Twinkle thought she was dreaming about it.She had never imagined that they would get to talk about it ever.
She didn't expect that Kunj would want to have a baby with her in the first place. Even if they were blessed with a baby in future,she believed it would be because of a condom burst or an urgent accident but not like this.

T-But Ansh is still too young and what about my course.
She blurted out in a hurry.

K-We wouldn't have a problem with your course since your final year exams would be over in next two months and about Ansh ,i think he is old enough to become a big brother and he would surely love to have a baby brother or sister.

He himself never thought he would ever say this to Twinkle but after getting to know her fully,he desired to have a baby girl with a beautiful and pure heart just like Twinkle's.

Twinkle was overwhelmed even to bring out a sound.Kunj was sowing the seeds of hope and dreams in her heart which she never had before. Of course she wanted to carry Kunj's babies.

K-I would want to have a baby with you, Twinkle in fact many..and that is only if you are ready too.I wouldn't want to force you into it.I would totally understand if you want to pursue your higher studies and then plan for a baby or you need sometime to think abo...

His words were swallowed as Twinkle leaned forward and took his lips into a mind blowing kiss that lasted for a couple of minutes.She was bold enough and didn't hesitate to sit into his lap.She held his face and deepened the kiss making him groan.

When they pulled away,Kunj was already carrying her to their bed. The night was long and they lost count of how many times they made love that night.

Next day when she woke up she had a glow on her face and she couldn't contain her happiness by any means.
There was a permanent smile present on her face and she believed that she would surely get pregnant within no time.In fact, she already felt like she was having a baby within her.

Whenever she thought about how Kunj was concerned about her opinion of having babies ,it only made her love that man more and more. Of course she wanted to do her higher studies in pediatrician and child care but that would wait for a while.She thought she would make time for her studies but this was something she wanted right now.Until then she would practice at a private clinic.

A- What's the reason of that constant smile on your face?
Alisha teased her.It was a hectic day in the OP ward today,each student who had a duty there just wanted the day to get over early but here Twinkle is smiling like a fool.

T- Nothing,she said and started smiling again thinking about something about which Alisha had no clue.

A-Come in, don't say that it's nothing.I can tell there is something for which you are grinning like this.

After few seconds, Twinkle started
T-Yesterday we met Mahi and she said she is pregnant.

A-Wow,that is really fast.Do you think she was already pregnant when she got married?
She said in a hushed tone.

T(huffing)-What?I don't think so.

A-Anyways,is that the reason for your smile?
If it was true she was planning to smack her head.

T- Ofcourse not.

A-Great,then continue what happened there.

T-As usual she tried to put me down by asking why I wasn't pregnant yet.

A-That bitch!She fisted her hand but she knew there must be a good ending
to it because of Twinkle's happy face.
'Then what happened '?

T-Kunj came to my rescue and told her that we are delaying the baby because of my studies.He also mocked her for Varun not joining her for her check up.You should have seen the look on her face.I thought she was going to bury her head underneath the floor.

A-Really,I wish I was there to see this.But i still can't understand why you are so happy.

Twinkle pressed her lips together and smiled at her
T(shyly)-After we went home,we really discussed about having a baby.

A-Oh my god!That was what i wanted to hear.
She pulled her into a bone crushing hug.'Does that mean i am going to become Massi soon?'

Twinkle laughed and shook her head on her talks.
T-Its still too early for anything, dummy.

A-Oh come on, it's just a matter of two to three months.I just can't wait for it.
She was bouncing up and down

When Twinkle got back home,Lily greeted her warmly.
L-Twinkle,there is a package for Mr.Sarna.I have kept it in his study.Please do remind him when he gets home.

She informed when Twinkle came out of shower .She bid her goodbye to Ansh who was already clinging to his mumma.

T-Sure Lily and thanks for taking care of Ansh.

L-Its my pleasure.
She waved them goodbye and left.

T-How was your day,my Shona?
She placed him on her lap so that he was facing her.He snuggled in her chest playing with her loose curls which was making him drowsy.

A-I painted with Lily, mumma.
He remembered about his drawing and got down to bring his painting.

T-Wow baby, that's really amazing.
She said looking at his picture.It was a family picture of three of them which he labelled Mumma,dada and Ansh above their head in his baby handwriting.Her eyes welled with happy tears.

No matter how many children of Kunj's she gave birth to but Ansh would always remain her first one and favourite too.Without Ansh none of this would have happened.She wouldn't have met Kunj,she wouldn't have got married to him nor she would have fallen in love so deeply with him.

She placed butter soft kisses on his face.
T-Ansh,do you want a small baby?

A-Baby? His eyes sparkled.

T-Yes Shona, a baby just like our Anaya.

A-Yay! Want baby now.

Twinkle laughed at that
T-Soon Jaan but will you promise to take care of your baby?

A-Yes mumma
Twinkle knew how much he loved to play with his little cousin sister.He would surely become an amazing brother in future.

After putting Ansh to sleep, Twinkle told Kunj about how excited was Ansh after hearing baby news.

K-I am excited to see him as a big brother too.
He kissed her lovingly.

T-Kunj,i forgot to tell you there is a package for you in your study.

K-Oh it must be from bank,I will check it tomorrow.
He said hugging her.

The next morning they both were in a hurry and completely forgot about the package that came yesterday.On the evening, being a weekend Kunj took Twinkle and Ansh out for dinner.By the time they came back,they were very tired and went straight to sleep.

He found her cleaning his study and immediately came to her.

He opened the package and was SHOCKED to read what was written on it.

"Paternity Test" it was written on bold letters and reading it further he wanted to tear it as it concluded there is zero percentage matching between Kunj and Ansh's DNA.

T-What's this?
The seriousness on his face told her that there was something wrong.She took the papers from his hand.She ran her eyes through it and she felt a huge blow against her chest.She couldn't believe what she was seeing .
T-Kunj, this can't be true,right?
She looked at him with hope.

Kunj turned back the envelope to check for the sender's name and address and his anger rose to another dimension when his eyes fell on Natasha's name.

K- It's from This confirms that this can't be true . Moreover Tara can never betrayed me with something like that.
He clarified before dialing Natasha's number.

N-Kunj,I was expecting your call earlier than this.

K-What the fuck all this, Natasha.I can't believe you can go to such extents. Don't as you even realise you are defaming your own sister's character by doing this.
His voice boomed through the room making shivers run down through Twinkle's spine.She had never seen him so angry before.

N-I know Kunj this news came like a storm for you but believe me I would never lie about something like that.
You can do the test again,if you don't believe me.
Her over confidence was shaking him to the core and he gulped.

K-I don't want to because it would mean i don't trust Tara enough....Ansh is my son.He ended the call and threw his phone harshly on the table.

The room suddenly became absolutely Twinkle felt uncomfortable with that dead silence.She touched his shoulder but he only pushed away her hand harshly.She watched him kick the chair behind him with a loud growl before leaving the room .
