A month had passed after their return from Amaira's house and Kunj was everything Twinkle could imagine her husband to be .For the very first time, Twinkle felt fortunate in her life for getting a husband like Kunj.She thought,all the sufferings she had gone through her entire childhood were just a test by the God and her reward was Kunj.If the prize for her torturous past was Kunj,then she could go through it all again without any complaint.

As for Kunj,he was falling in love with Twinkle,very deep and hard each passing day. Expressing his feelings with Tara wasn't that hard,but with Twinkle it was completely opposite.
Every time he thought about telling Twinkle,how much loves her,he backed out.He wondered how seriously she would take his words as he was the one who said that the main reason he married her was because of his son and nothing else.

The day when she returned to college she noticed the heated looks that Alisha and Yuvraj were exchanging. She suspected of something happening in her absence.She wanted to ask Alisha but stopped herself from doing so.She knew if it was something she needed to know ,her friend would definitely tell her.

Much to her disappointment,Yuvraj and Alisha stopped talking to each other.The situation remained same even after a month,in fact it worsened
Alisha even wouldn't join them for coffee breaks and lunch, saying she was busy but in real she would be sitting somewhere idly.

T-What is wrong with you both?
She finally asked when she saw Alisha turning her way seeing Yuvraj sitting with Twinkle.

Uv- Why don't you ask her?She is the one who is behaving weird lately.
He said being annoyed by Alisha's rudeness before walking away.

A few days later Dean of the hospital announced that few of the final year students had to attend a medical camp in a remote town.Everyone was very excited to go but Twinkle only one wished to be not on the list.She wa aware that she wasn't like the other students.She had Ansh to take care of and it was impossible to leave him for one week .Not only that, she knew how much he would miss her. There wasn't a single days in these seven months when he had gone to sleep without her.

Next day she tried to talk to her Dean about not being able to take part in it and made him understand her situation at home.He agreed to remove her name from list but warned her she would lose her internal scores if she couldn't make it, which would in turn affect her distinction and there was nothing he could do about it.

A- Twinkle how could you refuse to go?You know it would affect your final marks.I Know how hard you have worked all these years and i wouldn't want you to sacrifice just because you have a son to look after. There must be something you can do. She rebuked her.

T-It doesn't matter, Alisha. It's true that I wanted to pass with distinction but that was before. My priorities have changed now. Passing the exams with good grades seems enough to me right now.

Her reasons weren't there convincing to Alisha.She knew Twinkle loved Ansh as her own but at the same time,she didn't want her friend to miss something that she had fancied her whole life.

On her way back home, Alisha went to meet Kunj at his office.

When his secretary informed him that his wife's friend, Alisha had came to meet him,he was a bit shocked and wondered why she had to meet him.

A-Hi jiju
She walked into his office

K-Hey Alisha,how are you doing?
He stood up to greet her

A-Good,i am really sorry to disturb you at work but i have to tell you something concerning Twinkle .
She took a seat opposite of him.Kunj suddenly felt sweaty .He felt like his chest was going to explode with nervousness.

K-What is it?

A- I don't think Twinkle must have informed you about this but i thought i should bring it to your notice.She huffed. She had been given an opportunity to go on a medical camp which she refused to take up.I can understand she doesn't want to leave Ansh and go but it is really important and if she doesn't come with us,she wouldn't be able to get the honors degree.She had been working very hard for the past five years for it but now she is ready to give it up.I tried to talk to her but being a stubborn one, she didn't listen to me.

Kunj felt guilty for having no idea about it.He didn't even know Twinkle was an honors student even with all the responsibilities and work at home but again ,he knew she was absolutely capable of anything . Twinkle had sacrificed so much for him and Ansh.
She could have married someone else and avoided all these responsibilities if she wanted to but she chose to be Ansh's mom.

Kunj would never want to stop her from achieving what she wants just because she had to take care of Ansh.

K-I will talk to her when i go home and make sure she joins the camp with others .He assured her with a warm smile.

A-Thank you so much jiju.
She was happy that Twinkle had got a husband like him .She couldn't help but wonder if she would be lucky in her love life like her friend.

Twinkle and Ansh were painting when Kunj returned home in the evening.

T-Kunj,you came home early today.
She left Ansh to paint as she walked near Kunj.

K-Hmm.He said in a gruff tone before he took her in his arms and kissed her, making her melt like an ice in his hold.

T-How was work?
She asked and he just nodded.She sensed that he was a bit off.
" What's wrong? You don't seem to be in your best mood "

K-Twinkle, you have been keeping things from me.He Said to the point

Twinkle blinked at him thinking of what he was talking about
T-I don't know what you are talking about? She shook her head when she didn't remember keeping anything important from him

K- Alisha came to my office today and told me about the medical camp that you are supposed to go to.

Twinkle's mouth fell wide open.She didn't expect her friend to do that.She opened her mouth a few times to say something but closed it when she felt out of words.

K-Married to me doesn't mean that you have to make sacrifices with your education and career, Twinkle .I want you to go to camp and moreover you will get more exposure and experience there.
He said putting her hairs behind her ear.

T-No Kunj ,it's not a sacrifice.I don't want to leave Ansh and go. This isn't as important as our son.

Kunj smiled at her words proudly.
K-No baby, it is.He shook his head before kissing her forehead.
All these years you have done your best and i don't want this one thing to ruin your efforts and hard work.

T-But how will you take care of..?
When Twinkle tried to reason with him ,he silenced her with a deep kiss on her lips.

Pulling away ,he looked into her eyes.
They were full of worry and he thought he loved her even more than the minute before.

K-Don't worry about us, Twinkle.I will call mom and if she is unable to make it ,we can ask Lily to work for a couple of more hours or... I can also work from home this week.There are so many ways to make this work,jaan.

T-But i will miss Ansh. She stopped when she wanted to add 'and you' but she looked down on the floor instead , while her cheeks were still cupped between Kunj's hands.

K-Ansh will miss you too.He wanted to tell her he would miss her too but couldn't bring himself to say that.He didn't know that he could be such a coward.
He kissed her on her nose

K-But this isn't enough to stop you from going to medical camp.I am sure he won't want her mumma to lose her honory degree because of him.

T-If i lose,it wouldn't be because of him

K-Alright,but we want to go, Twinkle. Please...
Promise me that you will put your name tomorrow in the list.

T-Looks like someone is eager to get rid of me.She mocked him making him laugh.She turned around to stir the chicken gravy that she was preparing for the dinner.

K- Of course not and you know it.
He hugged her from behind and dropped a peck on her cheeks.
'Hmm smells good and I'm starving.

Twinkle chuckled, It's almost done .Go get changed and come.

K-Hmm. He kissed her once again before leaving.

The next day Twinkle and Kunj talked to Avantika.She was happy to come over and take care of Ansh for a week.She came a few days prior so that she could spend some time with her family since it's been a while.

The night before Twinkle had to leave, she felt miserable thinking about leaving Ansh the next morning.

T-Mumma is going to miss you so much, baby.She said as she closed the book she was reading to Ansh.He fell asleep on her chest.She didn't have the heart to put him down on the bed until she saw Kunj on the doorway.

K- Aren't you going to come to bed, darling.He asked raising his eyebrow.
He was a bit jealous that she was spending all her time with their son, thinking he was the only one who would miss her and had no clue of how much he was going to miss her.

She walked out of the room with a long face which didn't go unnoticed by Kunj.He sat on his bed and gently pulled her near him.

K-Hey ,Ansh will be alright.Yes ,he will miss you but he will be okay.

All she could do was nod at him .That night Kunj made love to her as if he was pouring in all his feelings he had for Twinkle and which he couldn't express straight to her.He was going to miss her very badly but how he was going to tell her that?

Twinkle hardly slept an hour after that wake up early even before the first ray of sun came out.

Seeing Twinkle's bags packed,Ansh understood that his mumma was going away.He kept following her everywhere around the house like a lost puppy holding her dupatta and when the actual time of her departure came,he became a crying mess.Twinkle didn't think that she would cry but seeing Ansh crying so much , she couldn't control her own tears.

T-Bye take care.She said to Kunj

K-You take care too.And call once you reach there.Twinkle could see so much tenderness in her eyes and felt his kiss on her forehead.She was definitely going to miss his kisses and warmth at nights.

T-Bye mom

A- Don't worry beta,we will take care of Ansh.She assured

T-Bye, shona. Be a good baby.Mumma will come soon.
She told Ansh before pecking his cheek and walking away without daring to look back.

She asked Alisha to pick her up.She didn't want Kunj to drive her college as it would make Ansh cry more.They boarded the bus which was taking them to the Yuvraj and Alisha tried to make as much as distance between Yuvraj stayed stick to the other guys but kept throwing secretive glances at Alisha without her knowledge.

T-Soo...? Twinkle started when she noticed desperate look in Uv's eyes.

Alisha turned away her eyes from window and asked innocently, What?

T- What's going on between you and Yuvraj?

A-Nothing,she replied too quickly making Twinkle grin

T-I thought we were best friends and i believe friends don't keep secrets from each other.

Guilt washed over Alisha's face
A-I was going to tell you...I just couldn't find the courage,she paused thinking where to start,'I confessed to Yuvraj ' she did as if pulling off a bandage.

T-What?When?
Her voice was so high that everyone stopped whatever they were doing and looked at both the girls
"Sorry" , Twinkle mumbled sheepishly.

A-When you went to Amaira's place
She whispered not minding anyone's stare on them.

T-And what did he say?

A-Nothing.She tried to act bold but her eyes betrayed her as they were filled with tears.

Twinkle wound her arms around her shoulder and pulled her into a comforting hug.She knew Uv definitely had some feelings for her but she didn't want to give her false hopes until she confirmed her guesses with him.
T-Hey , come on... I don't want you to sulk over a guy. Remember you said once if he likes you he would come around?

A-You are right.I am not going to sulk over him anymore.

They reached the place in the afternoon where they had to set check up booths for the people of the town.The whole day went in an blink of eye.

They had an early dinner by eight in the night , after which they retired to their rooms.She took a shower before picking up her phone and calling Kunj

Kunj and Avantika were trying to feed Ansh who was being very fussy without his mom.

K-Come on buddy,eat something.
Kunj requested him politely but Ansh only pushed the spoon away from his mouth rudely.He wondered how Twinkle managed to feed Ansh with all his sass and that's when his phone rang.

His face brightened seeing the name on the screen,'Twinkle'. He chirped.
As he heard her name ,Ansh began to squeal happily,Mumma... Mumma..

T-Hi,what are you guys doing?

K-We are trying to feed Ansh but he is being very stubborn.Kunj complained to her.

T-Put him on the line,i already missed him so much.

K-Wait let me video call you.He turned on the video call and put Ansh on his lap.

T-Hey baby

A-Mumma
Ansh looked like he was one the verge of crying after seeing Twinkle and she regretted ever to go this camp.

T-Why are you not eating shona?Come on, don't trouble your dada , eat now.

And with that Ansh finished his bowl of rice like an obedient child and also drank his milk .Kunj and Avantika gawked at him silently.

Ansh kept talking to Twinkle while Kunj wiped his mouth and carried him to his bed.They talked for an hour. Twinkle told him a story and soon he fell asleep.

K-He slept.Kunj told her when he listened his soft snoring.

T-I miss him so much.She said lying down on her bed.

K-Hmm. He felt envious thinking about his son, who was such a lucky fellow.

Did she not miss me like i am missing her.He wondered

T-What's wrong?She asked seeing the Sadu look on his face.

K-Nothing.His eyebrows were almost touching each other with that sadu look on his face.
He was annoyed that she didn't miss him but then ,how can he blame her alone,when himself was being like a coward. After all she was a woman and must be feeling shy to tell him something like that.May be he should be the first to tell her about how much he missed her,he thought.

K-Twinkle

T-Hmm?

K-Ansh is not the only one who is missing you.He gulped and then began, I missed you too ,very badly and looked into his screen for her reaction.

She stared at her phone with his confusion.She clearly hadn't expected this from him.She thought he would never miss her and believes foolishly
that she was the only one missing him.

K-Did you miss me, Twinkle? He asked after waiting for a minute when she didn't said anything.

Twinkle felt like she was floating in space like a bubble.Her cheeks were a shade darker than red and she couldn't hold an eye contact with him
anymore but she didn't want to spoil this moment . She wanted to tell him how much she was missing him

T- You have no idea how much i am missing you, Kunj .She saw how his face lit with a breath taking smile.

K-Really?

T- Really ,she said shyly.

K-Thank god,i thought you didn't miss me at all.He said making her giggle.
Okay, now tell me why you miss me?

He decided to be a little naughty with her and they talked for a couple of hours until they were sleepy.
Twinkle went to sleep with a huge smile on her face that night.
