One week later

Aaradhya's POV

"It's okay Ishita, stop worrying. I don't even think you were so worried during your boards." I said trying to console her.

She nodded scribbling something on the paper again. Her exams are starting from Monday and she's so stressed right now.

I sighed folding the freshly washed clothes and keeping them in her cupboard.

"I've kept your clothes, don't stress too much and sleep early. Good night" I said patting her head and closing the door of her room.

I glanced at the clock entering my room. It flashed 11pm and I sighed locking the door.

I changed into my night clothes, washed my face and combed my hair once.

As I was about to sleep, I heard a knock at the door. I frowned looking at the time.

"Coming"

Opening the door, I noticed Raghav standing there with a smile. I smiled back hesitantly and he looked inside.

"Oh yea, come in" I said giving him way.

"Ugh... I.. actually.." he stammered and I looked at him confused with a shrug.

"Are you free tomorrow?" He asked rubbing the back of his neck.

"Well, it's Sunday. Soooo" I shrugged.

"And anyway, you aren't even letting me work" I said with a sarcastic smile.

He looked at me with a sad smile "It's not like that, I.."

"Chuck it. Why did you ask?"

"I was planning of taking you for lunch tomorrow" he said with a faint smile.

"Why?" I frowned

He looked at me for a moment, confusion written over his face. Oh. Maybe I asked the wrong question.

"Because you're my wife..?" He replied though it sounded more of a question.

I sighed. "Okay, if you say so" I shrugged and he smiled at me happily.

I agreed easily, because maybe, I wanted to give him a chance considering what all good he has done till now.

Suddenly he came closer to me and I looked at him with wide eyes.

"Wha..tt.."

He kissed my forehead and whispered "Good night, I love you"

Next day

"Aaradhya? Are you ready?" Raghav asked knocking the door.

"Yes almost" I shouted back applying the lipstick.

I heard footsteps. Probably he left.

After I was done, I went to check on Maa once, before I leave.

I knocked her door. I don't know how she's going to react about me agreeing to go with him.

"The door is open. Come in" I heard her say.

"Wow! Looking great" she said and I smiled. "So ready for lunch date?" She winked and I looked at her with wide eyes.

"Don't worry, Raghav had asked me about it two days ago" she said and I smiled shyly.

"Okay, bye Maa" I waved at her.

"Bye dear, enjoy" she said and I closed the door.

Going downstairs, I noticed Raghav in a casual jeans and black shirt with the sleeves folded upto his elbow.

My jaw dropped open as I had rarely seen him like this. He turned to me shifting his attention from the phone. Realising that I was checking him out, he smirked.

"Like what you see?" He asked removing his sunglasses.

"We.. are getting late" I whispered and he laughed.

"Let's go" he said holding my hand and pulling me with him.

His car was already waiting there and he opened the passenger side door for me. With a smile I sat inside.

He was behaving like a gentleman today. He sat at the driver seat and started driving.

After a hearty meal at a beach restaurant, we were walking along the shore.

He had taken care of all my favourite dishes, starting from the starters to deserts and the main course was just awesome.

Not that he had given me one option, but he had given me many choices. He ordered so many dishes that I feared I might be able to finish it or not.

Later he told me not to worry, as the remaining food was to be distributed among poor kids.

I smiled remembering it, and felt his hold on my hand.

I looked at him to see him all lost, looking at the sea. I sighed.

He had changed. For good.

While I was busy gazing at him, he suddenly stopped. I looked at him with a frown.

He smiled and I smiled back. He gestured at me to stay back and I did, although I was completely confused.

A man was waiting there. Raghav went to him and started speaking. I didn't hear much of what they were discussing, as they were far from me.

He came back and said "Sweetheart, since we've just had lunch, we'll have to wait for sometime. Would you like to do something till then?"

"But what are we waiting for Raghav?"

"It's a surprise babe. You tell me, how would you like to spend your time?" He asked again.

That babe gave me jitters though.

I shrugged not knowing what to do.

"Okay, let's go to a mall nearby. It's just few minutes from here. We'll return after an hour or so" he said holding my hand.

I stopped and he turned to me.

I glared at him and asked "What is going on? You better tell me"

He sighed. "Aaradhya please, it's a surprise for you"

I looked at him hesitantly and he smiled "Don't you trust me?"

"I.." I sighed "I do..but"

He gave me a sad smile. "Your eyes tell a different story. It's okay, you'll trust me soon."

Without any other word, I quietly followed him. I didn't want to make him feel bad anymore.

We shopped at the mall for sometime. Though mostly it was window shopping, with him insisting me to buy things while I telling him that I didn't need it.

After about one and half hour, we were back at the same place with the same man waving at us.

I looked at Raghav with a frown. He smiled and asked me to follow him.

The man gave us jackets and costumes and all requirements for scuba diving....

WAIT WHAATTTTT!!!!

SCUBA DIVING!!!!

WHAT THE HELLLLLL

O.M.G.!!!!!

I looked at Raghav and he smiled at me with excitement. His eyes twinkling brightly with happiness and smile not leaving his lips.

Oh my godddd!!! I don't believe this!!! I'm so freaking happy!!!

I always wanted to go scuba diving, but I had never tried it.

And the thought itself erupted butterflies in my stomach. I was excited as well as nervous.

I nervously looked at Raghav. He smiled and came towards me. Pressing my palm gently, with assurance, he whispered "I'm there"

I smiled and took a deep breath.

"Sir, please get into the ship. It will take you to the middle of the sea. We will be there with you all the time. We will instruct you what to do. Please follow the rules. Good luck ma'am, good luck sir" He said and Raghav nodded with a smile.

I smiled nervously and muttered "Thank you"

The ship ride was great fun. It was not a very huge ship nor a small boat, but of appropriate size.

The warm breeze was touching my cheeks along with the blush that crept up because of Raghav drawing random patterns on the back of my palm.

We changed in a room on the ship.

"Good luck babe. I'm with you. Release all your stress, all your worries." He said before putting his glasses and the oxygen pipe and getting ready to jump in as we had already reached the middle of the sea.

He gestured at me with his eyes to do the same. I followed his actions and we were ready.

A man came to us and Raghav showed him a thumbs up. He nodded "I've been appointed to click good pictures of you and sir during the dive" he said and I smiled at him greatfully.

Finally the instructor came and gave us all the instructions and told the precautions. He explained us what to do if we needed any help, or we had problem in breathing. He took us to the bottomest floor of the ship.

He jumped first and asked us to jump. Raghav looked at me and I nervously looked back nodding a 'no' at him.

He blinked in assurance. I was still a bit hesitant. He removed the oxygen pipe, and cupped my cheeks.

"I'll go first, you jump after me. I'll never let you fall. And even if we fall, we'll fall together" he said with such intensity in his eyes that sent shivers down my spine.

He jumped in and gestured at me to jump. Taking a deep breath, finally, I jumped into the water.

We followed our instructor as he started diving deep into the sea. I looked at the photographer following us with his special camera.

As we reached deep, I started noticing the fish that moved around, in groups, individually, and in pairs.

They were so colourful that it fascinated me instantly. The instructor turned to us and gave a thumbs up indicating we had reached.

Raghav looked at me and gestured with his hands asking me to roam around. I was a bit nervous but Raghav held my hand, and the photographer clicked our picture.

He gestured at me to relax. Initially, I was tensed. But after roaming around for sometime, I relaxed.

I was looking at a fish that passed by and turned around to look at it's huge group passing by. I was very much mesmerized by the scene.

I looked at Raghav as he was busy looking at the fish. I swam closer to the fish and looked at them, as another picture was clicked.

Raghav showed me a thumbs up indicating that it was brave of me to go near them. I smiled shyly even though I knew he couldn't see it.

Raghav came closer to me and the photographer clicked some couple pictures for both of us in different positions.

The instructor gestured us to follow him and we did. He pointed at a different group of fish and I was again fascinated looking at them. The photographer clicked a picture of us.

I was excitedly moving around leaving away all my fears and worries and Raghav was probably glad about it.

He didn't really follow me but he was beside me all the time, holding my hand whenever I was scared of a fish passing by.

Suddenly I noticed a turtle at the bottom and excitedly pointed at it. The instructor gestured us to go near.

I hesitantly looked at Raghav who nodded at me. The photographer came behind me to click a picture.

The turtle did not look like it would harm so I went a bit more closer and the photographer went to the opposite side to take a better picture.

Suddenly it started moving and I got bit scared and swam back to Raghav, who I bet, was laughing.

We roamed around for more time and I was very very happy and impressed. It was my dream to go scuba diving once. I knew swimming. And I always wanted to try this once.

The instructor gestured us that it was time to go back by showing his watch and I looked at Raghav sadly.

He assuringly held my hand and squeezed it. An indication not to worry, and we will come again.

I smiled and we started going around for one last time as the photographer clicked a picture of us together.

I smiled happily and showed him a thumbs up indicating that he had done a great job.

Before going he clicked one last picture of mine, which I believe would be the best. I can after all decide only after looking at the pictures, but I felt this one was good.

Finally, we started moving towards our ship by following our instructor.

Soon we were back and trust me when I say I had the best experience of my life. And it had to be with the love of my life.

Wait. What? Love?

I brushed those thoughts away for now and looked at Raghav as he returned after changing his clothes and giving the costumes and all other things to the boy standing there.

"Go change" he smiled and I smiled back. After changing I went to Raghav who was busy looking at the sea.

"Thank you" I whispered and he immediately turned to me.

"I always wanted to go scuba diving, once in my life time. You fulfilled it. Sooo... Thank you" I smiled

"I'm glad I could fulfill your wish" he said cupping my cheek and kissing my forehead. I closed my eyes feeling his lips lingering on my forehead for a long time.

He pulled me ahead and leaned on the railing of the ship. Trapping me in between, he put both his hands on the railing. I could feel him so close to me after so long.

He sighed and kissed the side of my head and asked me to look ahead.

It was a beautiful sunset. I smiled and looked at the view. I was in deep thoughts mesmerized by the sunset.

I turned to him and hugged him. He seemed shocked for a moment but then reciprocated the hug.

I felt a kiss on the top of my head and I smiled remembering how beautiful my day was.

As we reached the shore Raghav thanked the people on the ship and the instructor as well.

We sat on the shore for sometime and then he stood up. "Let's walk" he said

I happily gave my hand and we started walking holding our hands.

"I had a great day today" I whispered again. I couldn't stop remembering everything and thanking him enough for fulfilling my wishes. "Thank you so much"

"It's my right" he whispered pulling me closer and wrapping his arm around my shoulder as he kissed my head.

"By the way, I have one more thing for you" he said and I looked at him surprised. "What?" I whispered with shock.

He gestured me to look ahead and I did.

A big balloon kind of something came in my view and I gasped looking at him.

He smiled holding my hand and pulling me towards the hot air balloon.

There were so many people and so many hot air balloons.

Oh.my.lord!!!!

I looked at him happily and he smiled back. A man came running to us probably recognising Raghav.

Who wouldn't recognise the person who is always on the front pages of magazines and newspapers.

"Sir, everything is ready, please come this way" he said.

So Raghav had already booked everything. People were looking at us probably recognising Raghav.

I could even see few girls drooling at him and I tightened my grip around his waist.

He smirked "Someone is jealous?"

"I'm not" I glared at him and he laughed "When did I say it's you" he raised an eyebrow and I glared at him not able to resist my smile.

We got into the hot air balloon and soon enough we were soaring high in the sky.

The whole city was visible with the lights glowing in the dark night. I smiled looking at the view.

The soft breeze hit my face and I closed my eyes feeling it.

Sighing I opened my eyes and looked at the beautiful view of the city that was shimmering with bright lights.

Even the sea looked so beautiful. I was mesmerized by the view.

I then turned to look at Raghav who was lost looking at the beautiful view. I turned my attention back to the view as the balloon changed it's direction.

"Wow! The view is so amazing!" I exclaimed looking around.

Raghav smiled and made me look at him. Kissing my forehead he whispered "I love you, meri Jaan"

He hugged me and I felt so peaceful at the moment. The intensity in his eyes told me that he was not lying this time.

I hugged him more tightly, the view long forgotten. Slowly we pulled apart.

"Aaradhya, trust me. I have realised what I did was wrong but please give me one more chance. I promise I won't let you down this time. You have changed me completely, and for good. I truly love you" he said and I noticed the tears in his eyes.

This honest confession of his made me cry too. "I.. I don't know what to say" I gulped and he sighed with a sad smile.

Cupping my cheeks he whispered "It's okay, take your time. Just remember that I love you" he said and was about to remove his hands when I held it back.

"I do.. I do love you Raghav, but... About the trust.. I'm..still..." I smiled weakly not able to voice my thoughts.

He sighed and joined our foreheads together he whispered "It's okay. Take some time."

I noticed as his eyes travelled to my lips and then back to my eyes. He gulped and was about to move away when I said something even I was not sure of.

"Kiss me Raghav" I whispered and he smiled. "I don't want you to do this force...." I didn't let him continue as I kissed him.

I initiated the kiss. I immediately felt shy and was about to withdraw when he started kissing me back and pulling me closer by my waist.

My hands travelled at the back of his neck into his hair and he tightened his grip around my waist, kissing me passionately.

He was dominating, and I let him do what he wanted.

After few minutes, I pushed him gently, feeling short of breath. He joined his forehead to mine and sighed.

I breathed in heavily and noticed him doing the same.

"I can't thank you enough for such a beautiful day" I whispered while he just smiled.

"I love you" he whispered back giving a final kiss on my forehead.

I smiled turning around to look at the view from the hot air balloon as he hugged me from behind putting his chin on my shoulder.

"Let's have dinner at your favourite restaurant, and head back home" he said kissing my cheek and I nodded holding his hand that was around my stomach.

In this moment, I felt peace.
