Aaradhya's POV

Pacing around in my room I tried calming myself down. I was so so angry at Raghav right now.

He's such a bipolar human. On one hand he says he loves me, and on the other hand, he says he went to meet Avantika.

All of this stupid stuffs he kept doing for me, it was all some kind of a stupid plan to trap me I feel. He's just acting again.

All I want to know right now is why Raghav refused Sharan to meet me. My head is going to burst soon because of all the confusion and I decided to ask Raghav itself about it.

I knocked his room door and after few minutes when I received no response, I went inside to see him standing in the balcony facing his back towards me.

I went straight to him and stood behind. He didn't turn but instead asked "Now what questions do you have?"

I looked at his back not knowing how he understood I was here. "Did you ask Sharan not to meet me?" I asked straight away without beating around the bush.

"Yes" he answered in a stern tone still not turning around.

"Why?" I asked going towards him and looking at his face. He turned his face away "Don't find it necessary to tell you" he said and my anger rose more.

"Nice Raghav Malhotra! Nice plans!" I said sarcastically.

"I was so wrong about you" I laughed sarcasm dripping from my voice "You act really really well Raghav. All this... All bringing flowers, chocolates, repairing my piano, everything was fake. You are fake"

He didn't speak even a word and didn't even look at me once, while I kept blabbering things.

"Everything has a reason Aaradhya. I can't tell you anything right now. Doesn't mean, I can't prove myself. I have enough proofs here. I'm just not telling you anything because I want to make everything sure first" he said and I sighed.

"Fine! Just do whatever you want! I was so wrong about you. Everytime, my heart starts to melt, every single time it starts melting because of your sweet gestures, something or the other happens which has to ruin it! Which makes my decision of staying away from you more and more strong!"

I left his room without waiting for his reply. I tried calming myself down but my mind was completely occupied with thoughts.

I am fighting to catch the people who did this to you. And I need peace. I need assurance. I need to know that you will be fine.

I remembered him saying this to me the other day.

Ask him Aaradhya! Ask this bloody moron! He is the one who forced you!

I really really love you. And I beg you to stay and forgive me.

He is the one who helped in your kidnapping!!

Aaradhya don't you trust me? Please! Believe me!

He is the one who molested you!

Ughhhhh! My mind is going f*cking crazy!! I don't know what to do!!

Not trusting him is okay Aaradhya, but I won't let you blame him for no fault of his.

I remembered Vihaan's exact words. When Raghav left me, he was the one who supported me and has been by my side.

Then why did he support Raghav all of a sudden. I am sure, Vihaan would have chosen me, in any circumstance. But today, why did he choose to be on Raghav's side.

Was it his friendship taking over? Or is there something that I can't see?

I need to talk to him. I really need to know why did he support Raghav.

Vihaan's POV (surprise!)

I don't know what to say but I was really angry with Aaradhya, for blaming Raghav without any reason. She should have at least thought before speaking.

I sat in my room silently, closing my eyes and rocking the chair when a hand stopped it.

I looked at maa as she sat on the bed. "What is bothering you Vihaan? I know, you won't support Raghav without a reason. But... You know.. I.."

"I know maa. And I understand. Even you have doubts regarding Raghav after what happened today. But there is a completely different side of this story that none of you know yet." I said.

"Then tell me Vihaan. Before we derive wrong conclusions from what is going on, I want to know what is the real story" she said and I just nodded with a sigh.

"Rakesh Kashyap" I uttered and looked at her. She looked at me with a confused and nervous smile "What?"

"Yes. He is the main culprit behind all this"

"What? But how? Why?" She asked as few tears dripped from her eyes.

"You know he was already behind Aaradhya right. He was involved in cheating our company with the help of Sharan. We have all proofs" I said and she gasped.

"Oh my god! That means Sharan is involved!" She exclaimed.

"Yes maa he is. We are still finding out more. Raghav doubts that Sharan was also the one who molested Aaradhya. That's the reason he asked him to stay away from her."

"That's.. oh my god! I don't know what to say. Aaradhya should know this!"

"I know maa. But she's so involved in thinking that Raghav is wrong, because of that one fault of his. She is thinking Raghav is the only person wrong here. But Raghav, this time is trying to protect her. We both are trying to protect her" I said and maa nodded.

"Should I tell this to her?" She asked and I just nodded "No maa"

"Yea, maybe you're right. If she comes to me herself, I'll tell her. Because right now even if I go to her, she'll feel I'm taking his side" she said and I smiled.

"Don't worry maa. We're just a step away from him. We'll get him soon. Then she can hear the truth from the culprit's mouth." I said and she nodded getting up from the bed and stroking my hairs, she left after saying "Good night"

Aaradhya's POV

I kept turning in my bed. I don't know if I should ask Vihaan about this.

If I don't, it's my loss. But maybe if I do, I might find something beneficial. I might talk to him in the morning.

It completely depends on my mood. But I won't be able to sleep with so many thoughts running in my mind.

I looked over at the clock which said it was 2 in the night. Probably he already slept.

I decided to go to the terrace for sometime.

When I went there I noticed two guards and they stopped me. "What happened ma'am? Is everything okay?"

"Yea.. I just needed to visit the terrace." I smiled. They nodded "Vihaan sir is also here" one of them smiled and opened the door.

I frowned. Vihaan was here? At this time?

"Vihaan?" I called out. He turned, looked at me and then returned to his original position facing his back to me.

"Do you need anything?" He asked and I noticed the change in his tone.

"Yes. I need answers" I said going towards him and standing beside him.

"You already took your decisions. What do you want to know now" he chuckled sarcastically and I frowned.

"Why didn't you support me? Already on your friend's side huh?" I asked and he laughed.

"I'm on the 'right' side" he said

"Will you please help me out? What the hell are you even saying?" I asked angrily.

"You only think Aaradhya, Sharan doesn't even show his face to you all these days. And all of a sudden he comes one day and shows you some photographs. Why?"

I frowned. He has a valid point.

"Obviously he wanted to create differences between you two. He comes one day and shows you some photos and you believe those and blame Raghav, while Raghav hasn't even done anything"

"Do you remember the same Raghav blamed me of cheating on him?" I asked angrily. 

"There's a reason for everything Aaradhya! For god's sake..." He turned to me shouting but I cut him off.

"For god's sake YOU tell me what are the reasons Vihaan! I'm tired of hearing about your 'there's a reason for everything' all the time!" I said clearly pissed off with him.

He took a deep breath "You know how possessive Raghav is. That day before he came here, someone sent him your photographs"

I frowned "What kind of photographs?"

"In.. in some inappropriate positions.. you.. I mean.. you and Sharan.. kissing and all that stuff" he said rubbing his forehead and I gasped.

"What?"

"Yes, that day someone sent him those photos. That's the reason he hated Sharan more after that. He found a few things and then he came to know that those were photoshopped. Now, he's still finding out if it was Sharan who sent it or someone else" he said I nodded as things became a bit clear to me.

"Was that the reason why he asked his guards to stop Sharan from meeting me?" I asked and he laughed.

"Do you remember telling me that the person who molested you seemed to be very close to you?" I nodded

"Raghav has a doubt on him that's the reason he asked his guards to keep him away from you because he can't risk anything right now. There are only few men close to you Aaradhya. You only think, and think wisely. Who can it be"

He said and then slowly things started getting into my brain as I started to process the information.

"We're just a step away from knowing the exact person. And we will tell you everything very very soon" he said.

"Just remember, this time, Raghav is not your culprit" he said and left.

I stood there holding the railing tightly as I got to know so many things today. How will I come to know who is the culprit!

And if it's Sharan... Then...

Then Raghav was not your culprit all the while

My heart whispered and my brain couldn't agree more to it.

Morning

Raghav's POV

Mostly, today Rakesh Kashyap will be caught by our men as I think he'll go to meet Avantika today.

I have asked my men to be very cautious and kill as less men as possible. I just want Rakesh. There's no point in killing huge number of his men.

I sighed and drank the coffee. I flinched at the taste.

"Oh god! Who makes such light coffee" sighing I called out to the servant.

"Please make me a strong coffee" I said and he nodded going outside closing the door.

I sighed and picked my phone and replied to few mails. Just then my door barged open. I thought it was the servant, but then it struck me, he would have knocked.

And now, if the person hasn't knocked it can be only.....

I looked up and smiled.

"Vihaan" I kept my phone aside.

He sat on the bed in front of me "What's up. Any news about Rakesh yet?" He asked and I shook my head with a shrug.

"Our men will catch him right?" He asked doubtfully and I nodded "Don't worry Vihaan. Trust me, I've hired the best men for this work"

He nodded and sighed with a smile.

Just then my phone rang. I looked at the screen flashing the police commissioner's name. "Hello. Yes sir?"

Vihaan immediately looked at me probably wondering whom was I addressing as sir.

He raised his eyebrows and I mouthed "commissioner" to him and he nodded.

"Hello, Mr Raghav. Rakesh Kashyap is here to meet Avantika today. He has just entered her cell. Mostly he'll wait for about an hour or two" he said and I smirked.

"Sure, thank you sir" I cut the call and immediately called my men.

"Hello Abhilash! I hope you got to know Kashyap is there to meet Avantika." I asked.

"Yes sir! I have already asked everyone to be alert. Don't worry. We'll cleverly take him to our hide out. You also reach there soon." He replied.

I looked at Vihaan "They're saying they'll get him this time" I sighed.

"Don't worry Raghav." He said coming towards me and patting my shoulder.

"This time, nothing will go wrong" he said and I nodded "I hope so"

We waited for sometime, still there was no news. I grew tensed and Vihaan kept assuring me.

We left for office because we didn't want to stress anyone. I worked on some project half heartedly. I don't even know what I did.

I might just work on it again because I didn't concentrate well. I knew I would not work well if I'm alone. So I deliberately went to Vihaan's cabin and started discussing with him.

Almost 3 and a half hours later my phone rang.

"Sir! We're at the hide out. Where are you" Abhilash asked.

"We're still in the office. What's the news?" I asked hopefully.

"We got him sir! He's with us" he replied over the phone.

"Good job!! I'm impressed" I said and looked at Vihaan nodding at him.

Finally, it was the moment of truth.
