Raghav's POV

"I am telling you all this because son, I have to go now. And you have to be strong. I just have one thing to say, please don't be like your dad."

"I love you my child"

"No.. no.. no please, don't go. No.." I sat up on the bed as I woke up with a jerk.

A bad dream.

I looked around to see nobody. The AC temperature was cool but I was still sweating.

Wiping off the sweat from my forehead, I stood up. I looked at the clock to see it was 8 am.

Yesterday, so many things happened. Vihaan told me Aaradhya was like a sister to him.

He took me to the doctor, I had the therapy session. It went well though.

Later, I remember Aaradhya coming to meet us and she was looking really beautiful in her white top.

I told her everything, everything about my past.

I'm with you

I remember her saying this. I trusted her.

Vihaan said she's a really nice girl and is a woman of morals and ethics.

But I don't personally know her.

Maybe you should get to know her personally.

My mind screamed. I sighed and walked to the washroom to take a bath.

At M and S

As I walked into the office, the staff started greeting me.

I maintained my cold face as I walked towards my cabin. Just in front of my cabin, I noticed her standing and looking at me.

"Good morning sir" she said as she approached me with a cheerful smile.

She's so beautiful, man.

I looked at her with cold eyes. But she didn't budge. Instead, she went back to her seat with a smile again.

Half an hour later, she knocked my cabin door and walked in.

"What do you want now?" I asked irritated

"Sir, want to discuss about the project." Oh she's here for office work.

Well, it disappointed me somewhat.

"Have a seat." I said and she nodded.

As she told me about her doubts, all I could concentrate on, was her beauty.

Pretty face

Beautiful eyes

Long silky hair

Smooth milky white skin

"Sir?" And she caught me checking her out.

"Umm.. yes?" I asked looking back at her.

"I asked about the shares" she replied glaring at me while I looked away.

"Yes, I'll get back to you soon. I have to discuss that with Vihaan also" she frowned and looked at me doubtfully.

Probably she asked for something else, you idiot.

"Anyway, that's fine sir. May I leave now?" She asked permission like a professional employee.

"Aaradhya, you know, you don't have to ask for permission." I said looking into her eyes and noticed her shocked face.

I chuckled "you know you are really cute"

"Sir.." she replied nervously looking away and I smiled.

"You may go" I said as I knew she was getting nervous.

"By the way, you are also very cute sir" she replied with a naughty smile.

I raised an eyebrow and she looked at me scared. Getting up I walked towards her and pulled her closer.

"What did you say?"

"No.. nothing.. sir" I smirked at her condition. Stammering baby.

"Get one thing in your mind Aaradhya, I am not cute. I am hot" I winked at her as she looked at me with wide eyes.

Leaving her I came back to my seat and started looking into a file.

And I noticed she still stood there, probably shocked out of her senses.

"Sir, may I say something?" I looked at her with a questioning face.

She smiled "I still find you cute." She laughed and I knew it was a naughty prank.

I chuckled as she went out of my cabin. Walking towards the glass window, I looked at her engrossed in the work.

I remembered our hug.

I indeed felt so peaceful in her arms. And I knew this time she is the one.

I looked at her through the window and sighed.

I love you Aaradhya

But I am scared. What if this is just an infatuation. What if I end up like my dad.

And my disorder, BPD, what should I do about that. I can loose control any moment and harm anyone.

I felt tears in my eyes as the thought of hurting her in my anger was very horrible.

I sighed and walked back to avoid looking at her.

A knock at my door disturbed me and I called the person inside.

"Sir" he sounded nervous. I frowned and looked at him.

"Yes Dhruv? What happened?"

"Sir.. it's your first date for the case tomorrow." He replied looking away and realization dawned on me that I was supposed to go to the court tomorrow.

"Thanks Dhruv. I'll look into the matter." He nodded.

"And yea, please ask Vihaan to come here when he's free."

"Sure sir" he left and I sighed.

What am I going to do now

"What happened Raghav? Are you fine?" I heard him barging inside my cabin.

Of course the only person who doesn't knock the door.

"Tomorrow is the case day Vihaan. What am I going to do?"

"Raghav, don't worry yaar. We'll figure out something don't worry." He said patting my shoulder

"We should go for the first hearing. At least we'll know what is her point of view." He said and I could sense tears in my eyes.

"Don't cry Raghav. Everything will be fine" I nodded and walked towards the window again, wanting to look at her.

"Do you think we should... We should.."

"Tell her?" He completed and I nodded without looking at him.

I heard him chuckle "she's ready. She herself told me she's willing to help."

I smiled "She did?" Vihaan nodded

"She's very much innocent at heart Raghav. Not like you thought her to be. She's different. And it will be better if you don't hurt her." I laughed

"Aaradhya's brother warning me huh?"

"Nah! Your brother in law warning you" he winked while I stood there shocked.

"I know you guys will end up together so stop being shocked and close your mouth" he said walking out of the cabin.

"Send Aaradhya Sinha in my cabin" I said over the phone.

"Yes sir you called me?" She came in 10 minutes later.

I walked closer to her and she moved back.

"Vihaan said you are willing to help me." I asked directly and she smiled.

"Aah yes!" She moved away and sat on the chair.

"I am willing to help because I am willing to stay by your side Raghav. You can trust me." She said looking into my eyes

And my heart fluttered as she called my name.

"Tomorrow is the first hearing" I sighed looking at her.

"We'll first hear out what she has got to say. Have you appointed a lawyer" I nodded.

She came to me and hugged me. "Everything will be fine."

My heart smiled at this and I calmed myself down.

Sliding my hand around her waist I pulled her closer. Burrying my face in the crook of her neck I inhaled her fragrance.

"Are you fine?" She said rubbing my back.

"I am now." I smiled and pulled her more closer.

"Raghav, we are in the office" she said and I sighed leaving her.

"Will you come to the court with me?" I want to hear a yes.

"Of course" she smiled and then frowned "umm.. sorry but.. is there a.. problem?"

No baby. Of course not. I'll love to have you by my side.

"No. Was just asking." She smiled. "Okay I'll see you in the court tomorrow." She said getting up and all I could do was stare at her beauty.

Next day

Walking into the court I looked around to find Aaradhya and Vihaan. But I saw Avantika.

"Oh hi Mr Malhotra" she gave me a cunning smile "I hope you are fine"

I looked at her angrily.

"Oops sorry, I forgot. Raghav Malhotra's reputation is at stake. How will you be fine, right?" She smirked.

"You bl**dy...." I was about to say when I felt someone interwining hands with me.

I looked beside to see her.

"He's completely fine Miss Avantika. After all he has some really caring people in his life now." I looked at her and found her smiling at me.

Vihaan came and patted my shoulder "So bro, ready to win huh?" He winked

Why are they so normal. I am tensed as hell and they are normal.

"Do you still expect him to win?" Avantika smirked

"No, my dear. We know he will win" Vihaan said and went ahead "come on Raghav. We're getting late. I've already booked a hall for celebrating our victory. So we can't be late at our own party."

I laughed at his sarcastic talks and giving one last look at Avantika I went ahead. I noticed she was still holding my hand.

She looked at me and probably sensed something. Immediately she tried to pull away, but I held her hand more tightly.

As the hearing began, I was called ahead.

"So Mr Raghav Malhotra, Miss Avantika has charged a case saying you tried to force her on the 16th of January, 2017. Please confess what happened that night." The judge said

I was shocked hearing the date. I looked at Vihaan and he too was looking equally shocked.

I looked at Avantika as she smirked at me.

"This can't be possible. I.. I don't know...I.." I looked at Vihaan.

"Please tell us what happened that night"

I looked at Avantika angrily and decided to spill whatever truth I knew.

"Avantika and I were together. She was my employee and I started loving her. When she told me she had the same feelings, I was very happy. The fact I didn't know was, she was involved with other company and was trying to spy on us. She stole few of my company's secret documents too."

The judge nodded and I was asked to continue.

"That night was the night we were going to celebrate our 2 years of togetherness when she came to my office and told me she wanted to leave. That was the night she left me and I didn't see her after that until now...."

"My business partner and friend, Vihaan Singhania, tried telling me many times that she was cheating, but I didn't believe him. She was with me, only for knowing our company's private information. I haven't even spent a night with her."

I sighed as I completed.

"You may go Mr Malhotra. We now call Miss Avantika here."

"Sir, that night we were going to celebrate our 2 years of togetherness. I was very happy." She cried.

Huh. Fake tears. How do they even manage.

"But when I went to his office, I saw him making out with another girl. I slapped him and I was angry. As I caught him red handed, he came running to me and asked for forgiveness. I truly loved him so I forgave him. He took me home saying he wanted to surprise me. And then he tried to....." She cried and looked at me.

I felt so angry that I wanted to kill her right there. I got up angrily but a hand held me again.

Aaradhya looked at me with tears.

Wow. Now even she doesn't believe me.

"Sit" she made me sit beside her "Whatever you said, was it true?"

"If you don't want to believe..." I said angrily but she cut me off "Yes or No Raghav"

I sighed "Yes"

"You don't have to worry then." She said angrily getting up.

"I have something to say Your Honour" she said loudly making us shocked.

"Permission granted" I heard the judge say

"Aaradhya.." I whispered but she looked at me and smiled "Trust me Raghav"

I do baby. I trust you. Just don't get in trouble. That's all I want.

She walked ahead "Your Honour, Raghav Malhotra is a very reputed business man. And he has a huge company and a huge house."

"What is she saying" I whispered to Vihaan while he chuckled "I don't know, but she'll do something huge. I can read it in her eyes"

I want to read them too, someday.

"He definitely has CCTV cameras in his office." She looked at me and I nodded.

"And at the entrance of his house too" she looked at me again and I nodded.

"So why don't we check that? I'm sure everything will be stored in the records" she said and I wanted to hug her.

"Your Honour, I already have the footage." Avantika smirked.

And what else can be expected, she had surely manipulated it.

She showed the footage, where she walked out of my cabin and I ran after her.

The truth was - she said she didn't want to live in the relationship anymore and I ran after her to stop her.

"This is office footage. Where is the recording of his house Miss Avantika? You said he took you to his house right?" Aaradhya asked

I'm proud of you sweetheart.

I could see Avantika standing there and fidgeting with her hair nervously.

"I.. I..will.. I will find that too sir" she gave an angry glare to her lawyer while I wanted to laugh.

"We extend the date and ask you to produce the CCTV recording in the court during the next hearing miss Avantika."

She looked at Aaradhya angrily. While Aaradhya smirked back.

Shit! I have to provide security to her now. I can't let anything happen to her.

Avantika can do anything. And I have to save my girl from her.

Aaradhya walked towards us and Vihaan gave her a side hug.

"I'm proud of you princess." He said and she smiled and sighed.

"I was so scared when she presented the CCTV recording." She said with tears and hugged Vihaan.

Vihaan looked at me as he consoled her. When she calmed down, she looked at me and whispered a sorry.

Vihaan winked and went away saying he'll come back in a minute.

She smiled at me "We'll surely do something" I pulled her in a hug.

She was initially shocked but then relaxed.

Slowly I bent down and whispered in her ear "I love you Aaradhya"
