Nandini POV:

Finally I am in Mumbai, right now I was in our hospital's party. Here people are so good, Mr.Prasad Sharma sir our department head, he made us feel so comfortable, In our department there are only 3 members. Me, Navya Naveli and Mr.Prasad Sharma. I am so excited to work with them.

Huh! Now I can search for Manik and apologize for leaving him. Is he angry on me? Will he forgive me for what I did? I hope he understand me.

I started remembering the past 8 months, it's still surprising that uncle let me go to Mumbai.

Flashback : (2 Weeks)

Morning at 5 am my friend Stephen called me for an help, he asked me for suggestions about a case, so here I am. From 2 hours i'm going through the case file of the patient. At same time someone knocked my door, I asked the person to come in. Uncle came inside with blank look.

"Uncle what happened?" I asked while getting up from my place.

"Nothing just came to see you" saying that he ruffled my hair. I looked at him suspiciously.

"Uncle???" I narrowed my eyes at him. He took a deep breath and said.

"Nandini I am sorry bacha" why the hell he is apologizing right now.

"Why are you saying sorry? What's bothering you uncle?" I asked with tense look.

"I thought about your Mumbai plan?" I got stiffed listening that.

"I know I am being selfish and forced you to be here." Uncle said in low tone.

"Uncle why are talking in such way?" He tried to say something but nothing came out of his mouth.

"Avi just split it out?" Mom said from behind in a serious tone, okay now I am confused. What the hell actually happening here? I time being looked at Mom and uncle's face for answers.

"That-ummm you know you can ummm-" I can say he was trying to say something but every word was getting clumsy.

"God! Avi you can't say something properly." She glared him hardly and turned to me.

"Baby girl you can go to Mumbai" she said making my eyes widen.

"What?" I asked in daze state.

"Y-Yeah you can go to Mumbai" Uncle said with fake smile. I looked at mom suspiciously and said.

"Don't look at me, i didn't said anything" she said raising her hands. Before I say something uncle said.

"Abhi made me realized" my eyes bulged out from their sockets. What the hell did he said to them.

"Uncle what did he said to you, did he create any scene or talked something nonsense, on second I will call him" before I call him uncle took the phone from my hands and said.

"He said nothing." He said calmly. I gave him a sharp look to say everything.

"He said I am being unfair with you. When you wanna be with us I send you and Abhi to London, Now when you want to do something on your way I am stopping you to do it. When he said that I felt selfish" I nodded my head as no. He took my hands and said.

"I am sorry dear, I just thought about myself. I-" Before he say something I stopped him and said.

"Uncle I am happy with your decisions, whatever you did it's for our own good so never feel it in that way please." He nodded his head positively and said.

"So when do you want to go Mumbai" He said with smile. I nervously bit my lips.

"Are you sure?" I asked him seriously. He patted my hair lovingly.

"100% sure" He said with small smile.

Flashback ends.

I smiled at the memory, then I felt someone bumped into me. I looked down to see a adorable baby girl, she wore pink fork with two piggy tails. She bit her lips nervously and said.

"Sorry Aunty" Awww she has such sweet voice. I sat on my knees to match her level and said.

"Hey baby! it's okay, but why are you running here and there? You shouldn't run like that baby, Your mom will be tense for you." She bobbed her head cutely. Ahhh I just want to gobble her. She is so cute. Then I saw a lady around at her 30's came to me.

"Shreya why are you running like that doll, you know how much tensed I am" The lady said with tense tone. Baby girl gave her a breath taking smile and said.

"Sorry mama" I smiled at her and stood straight. The lady turn to me and said.

"I am so sorry if she bothered you" I nodded my head as no. She forwarded her hand and said.

"Hey! I am Dr.Pratibha Bharadhwaj, neurologist. I never saw you here are you new?" I shook my hand with her.

"Yeah I am Nandini Murthy, Psychiatrist" She smiled brightly and said.

"Oh newbie" I chuckled at her and nodded my head positively.

"All the best"

"Thank you" before i say something navya called me from behind.

"Nandu" after saying bye i went towards navya.

"Nandu where are you i have been searching for you from long time" she said dramatically.

I chuckled at her behaviour, I met her today but she was talking as if we are friends from 10 years. I smiled at my thought and turned my attention to her talks.

"So Nandu are you excited?" I frowned at her. Excited? For what?

"For what?" I said confusedly.

"For tommorow's job" i kept a 'O' face and said yes. Then we listen a voice from behind. A man in his early 20's came to us with a creepy smrik on his face.

"Hello! Beautiful ladies. I am Harshad, Harshad saxesena" saying that he forwarded his hand to navya.

She raised her eyebrow, instead of giving him her hand she joined her hands and said.

"Namaste" she said with fake smile. I so want to laugh on his face but controlled myself.

"So may i know your names?" Navya scoffed at him and said uninterestedly.

"Navya Naveli" He turned his attention towards me.

"Nandini Murthy" i said with a tight smile. He frowned at me and said.

"You are Arvind Singh Rathode uncle's friend daughter right" I got startled listening that.

"How do you know it?" He smiled at me and said.

"When ever dad and uncle meet in any event or party he talks about you and Abhimanyu so much" I smiled at it.

"So Nandini as far as i listened about you, you are genius in your department, then why this hospital? there are so many top hospitals in india, why here?" He said with little disgusting expressions, Just now i got a little bit of impression on him, but seeing his expressions i changed my opinion.

"This hospital has saved so many people's lives in low cost and they treat patients as human unlike some hospitals who treat them as credit cards and Mr you can't understand this leave it" He frowned at me asked.

"Why can't i understand?"

"Cause here people has a thing called brain in their right place unlike you" I said with fake smile, Harshad got flushed with anger without saying he left the place. Huh! Good for him. I turned towards navya. Her mouth was little hanging. I closed her mouth.

"What happened why are ypu gawking me like that?" I asked her confusedly.

"Dude you are fire" She said with aww face. I laughed at her and excused for washroom.

After finishing my business i came out of the washroom, i was going towards Navya and Prasad sir but suddenly someone caught my hand, dragged me near room corner and slammed my back to the wall. I can hear slight heart beat of the person, his warm breath was falling on my neck, it made me jump in my place but that person held me firm. The touch feels so familiar. Don't know why i felt so comfortable with him. I lifted my head to see his face and got biggest shock.

"Manik" I whispered lightly.

We stare eachother for few mintues, it felt so unreal. I kept my hand on his cheek, he came out of the trance and hugged me tightly. It felt so good. I felt some wetness near my eyes. He tightened the hugged, God! I missed him.

"Manik" I called him thinking that he will leave me, but he haven't moved a inch.

"Manik i can't breath" listening that he lossen his grip around me, but didn't took his hands from me.

"Hey!" I smiled at him and said.

"Hey!" He gave me breath taking smile.

"How are you?" I bit my lips nervously and said.

"I-I am fine. How are you?" He looked at me amusingly and said.

"Much better" I am confusedly but let it go.

"I-I am sorry manik" I apologized him while lowering my eyes. I thought i will listen some lecture. But his response made me shock.

"Okay" I looked at him to see if he serious or not. But he was smiling. What the hell?

"Okay?" I asked with question mark face.

"Okay" He said with smiling face.

"Why?" What does he mean by okay for what i did?

"What do you mean by why?" I huffed and tried to come out of his arms but he kept me in my place.

"Why are you not angry on me. I left without saying anything. Why are you okay with it? How can you forgive me without shouting or blaming me?" I felt something on cheeks. Then i realised i am crying. He again hugged me and said.

"Even if i want too, I can't be angry on you Chiquita"

"Why?" I said while keeping my head on his heart.

"I realised that I love you" listening that my eyes goy widen. I looked at his face.

"It's been 8 months 26days 15 hours you left me, I lived 8 months with anger, betrayal. I am so angry on you because 24/7 you are in my mind. I even tried to forget you but this heart never let you leave, at one fine day i realised i am deeply madly in love with you. Huh! You know when I was in my teens I thought to propose my love in a romantic venue, but in your absence i learn that life is too short to do things, and your absence made me scared that if i don't tell you now about my feeling then you will again disappear in air, So that's why i am telling you again I love you Nandini Murthy. I love you so much" my heart got skipped when he spelled my orginal name.

"H-How do you know my name?" I shuttered little. How the hell he know my name.

"I have my ways Chiquita" He whispered in my ears. Oh god! I am getting goosebumps all over my body.
Then i listened a baby giggles. I looked at my right side. I looked at my right to see a 2-3years old baby boy giggling at us. I pushed manik from me. He was little irritated by my act, but seeing the kid he cool down little.

"We just know eachother for 10days that's it, how can you say it's love? and more over i-i don't love you" i was about to go but he caught my hands.

"First thing i have confidence that i love you, second thing you have to don't worry about your feeling because" he came near me and said.

"I will disturb you till you fall in love with me" He said with mischievous smile. Before going he gave me a wink and left the place.

"What the fu-" before i finish my sentence i realised there is a kid before me.

"What the fu-fish?"
