Nandini POV:

I opened by eyes by the sound of my phone alarm. I got up from bed to be get ready for hospital.

I wore white tee shirt and cream skirt for the first day of my work, I applied light moisturizer, sunscreen lip balm and finally white shoes to complete my look. After getting ready I prepared coffee and toast for myself, I took a sip to relax my nerves to kick start the day. While having my coffee my mind went to yesterday's conversation with Manik.

"Manik loves me like seriously. On top of that he is saying sorry he's challenged me that he will make me fall for him. That idiot. How the hell is he going to make me fall for him? I will also see it" Thinking that I got up from my seat after completing my breakfast.

Tring....Tring

I think my ride is here. After taking my bag I locked my door and sat in the cab. The car zoomed into busy streets, after 1 hour of torture I came to hospital by 9'O clock. In between greeting some known faces whom I met at yesterday's party, I went to Dr.Prasad Sharma cabin to report, Navya was already present in the cabin.

"Oh Ms.Murthy you came on time, please be seated" I mumbled a 'Thank you' and sat beside Navya.

"So Ms.Murthy, Ms.Naveli here are some case files of the patient which you have to go through, You have few patients to look after here are the files." Saying that he gave us the file details. Me and Navya has hardly 2-3 patients. We both nodded for heads.

"We will do our best sir" I said with smile. He smiled at both of us.

"All the best for the first day of job and yeah I need the reports of the patients by evening 6'O clock" we mumbled a yes and left the cabin. Then a nurse came us and said.

"Nandini mam your patient was waiting in your cabin mam" Navya turn to me and said.

"All the best bro" I said with a smile.

"You too" After that we parted our ways to our cabin.

I opened my door to see the patient was already waiting for me. I sighed and said.

"Sorry for the late gentleman" I said while correcting my files position in my hands.

"Of course I don't mind" that voice it's too familiar. I turned towards the person sharply.

"Manik" that's the only thing came out of my mouth. he was sitting on the chair like a king with one leg on the other knee, he was scrolling his phone. Slowly he lifted his head and gave me breath taking smile and said.

"Let's start our section Ms.Murthy" I sat in my seat with blank expression.

"What the hell are you doing here?" As soon as I sat on the chair, These words automatically came out of my mouth. He chuckled at my expressions.

Manik POV:

My girl is here, she looks so cute in her white tee shirt and cream skirt. I so love her the way she is, she's so simple and composed. But right now she looked startled, she sat on her chair with blank expressions and said.

"What the hell are you doing here?" I so what to laugh at her expression I pressed my lips to control it but a small chuckle escaped from my mouth, I covered it quickly and said.

"I've an appointment here Ms.Murthy, that's why I am here" She frowned and picked the files beside her and started searching something, finally she opened the last file, seeing that file her eyes got widen up.

"Are you seriously here for appointment?" Oh God I so want to gobble her.

"Any doubt?" She took a deep breath.

"How do you know my name?" She asked with sharp look. I smiled at her.

Flashback:

"Chiquita?" She is here in front of eyes. My heart started beating so fast, I afraid it's going to blast in next second. A girl just called Chiquita with some name what is it? Hmmm, Nandu. Is it her name or Nick name. Then I saw her going to Mr.Prasad Sharma and some another girl. What is she doing here? With my thoughts I went to Varma uncle.

"Uncle I wanna have a word with you" saying that I dragged him out of the group.

"Tell me what do you wanna talk so urgently?" He asked me suspiciously. I licked my lips nervously.

I can't say the truth right now that doesn't mean I have to lie. So think Manik, think something better. Then my brain gave me an marvellous idea. My thoughts are disturbed by Varma uncle.

"Manik why did you dragged me here?" I bit my lips to and said whatever comes to my mind.

"Uncle I need a Psychiatrist appointment" Uncle eyes got soften.

"Why? Why do you need Psychiatrist help? Is everything okay?" He asked with worried look.

"Nothing Uncle, I'm feeling so stressed up, overthinking and lately I'm getting negative thoughts" I said while pushing my hands into pockets. He nodded his head positively.

"Then I will talk to Mr.Prasad he is very good in this" I widen my eyes but quickly covered my anxiety and said.

"Uncle, I won't be comfortable with Dr.Prasad. why don't you set me up with little younger doctors." He frowned at me.

"But Manik Dr.Prasad is one of the top doctors in Mumbai, if you ask me" I mentally hit my head.

"I know he is a top doctor, but I just wanna talk some sensible matters like about Chiquita and all. Moreover mom and Dr.Prasad knows each other. You know mom, To get done her work how dramatic will she behave, Huh! So no" Finally he nodded his head and said.

"Then I will ask Nandini Murthy to take the charge"

"Nandini Murthy it is so similar to the Nandu. Is it her name? Let's test it out" I cleared throat and said.

"Uncle you mean the girl in between Dr.Prasad and the short girl" I said pointing towards Prasad uncle and Chiquita. He laughed at me and said.

"No no the girl beside Prasad is Navya, Navya Naveli. She is also a Psychiatrist, the girl beside Navya is Nandini. Your doctor" I controlled my smile and said.

"Okay uncle set the appointment and message me the details" Saying that I left the place. Went near drinks.

"Yes she is my doctor, my Nandini. This is going to be fun" I chuckled at my thoughts.

Flashback ends.

"So that's how I got the appointment" I said with smirk. She was taking deep breath to control her anger. I covered my smile and said.

"So let's start the section Miss.Murthy?" She huffed at me.

"Okay Mr.Malhotra let's start your counselling" she said while gritting her teeth.

"Claro, Senõrita"
(Sure, miss) she gave me hard look and said.

"I know you are very good at Spanish Mr.Malhotra can you please elobrate what you just said" I lazily leaned on table and said.

"I said Sure, miss. Unless you are expecting something else" Now her face is total red as tomato. She hurriedly nodded her head as no and said.

"So, ummm Mr.Malhotra what's your actual problem?" She asked in professional tone. I cleared my throat and said.

"Lately I'm having terrible headache" I said with puppy face.

"What's your working pattern?" She asked with frown. I smiled mischievously.

"24 hours" I said while controlling my smile. She got startled.

"24 hours? Who work 24 hours? Don't you sleep?" She asked with widen eyes. I bite my inner cheek to control my smile.

"I want to sleep but there is a girl named Chiquita. 24x7 She was always in my head. You know she never let me sleep peacefully" Her face turned red as tomato. She look so adorable with cheeks.

"Manik I'm being serious?" She tried to speak strictly but her red cheeks aren't much helping her much.

"When did I said you are not. Even I'm too serious darling" I said darling in low tone.

"What did you said?" Nandini asked with firm tone.

"Doctor. I said doctor" I said with innocent face.

"Do have any symptoms? Like sleeping problem, body pains, dizziness or something?" She asked with murderous look.

"No I just get pain in my head and."

"And?" She asked while noting something in here notepad.

"Slowly it shifts here" saying that I pointed to my heart. She gave me confused look and asked.

"What? Mr.Malhotra are you mad, how come pain shifts from head to heart?" She asked me with annoying expression.

"I tried to search for you like a madman. Day and night I used to think all possibilities to reach you. You know what, you gave me so much headache, by the end of the day whenever I got negative responds it results the heart ache" By the end of my explanation she was fuming with anger. Before she say something we listened knocking sound.

"Come in" Uncle opened the door.

"Nandini do you-" seeing me he stopped in middle.

"Manik you are are here, sorry i don't know you guys are in between section. Nandini after completing this come to my cabin i have something to discuss" He said with small smile. She smiled at him.

"No problem sir, our section came to end. I will come to your cabin in 10 minutes." She said with tight smile. He nodded his head and left the cabin.

"What do you mean by it's over, you hardly listen to me" she gritted her teeth and said.

"That's it Mr.Malhotra, i'm listening to you from past 30 minutes." I kept a 'O' face face.

"So what's the remedies for my condition?" She gave me a fake smile.

"Nothing much Mr.Malhotra, you said heart ache right. As per my analysis it must be cholesterol. Avoid oil and have boiled vegetables. You will get better." She said with sweet tone. I scowled at her response. Before I say something she said.

"Now I have to go, hope you know the way Mr.Malhotra" saying that she got up from her seat to leave the cabin.

Before she opens the door, I caught her hand and jerked her to me. I pushed her against the wall. Her warm breath was falling on my chest. One hand was on her waist, with another hand I kept her palm of my chest, which is racing so rapidly.

"Chiquita look at me" I said with low voice. She jumped at her place, slowly she lifted her head.

"Did you feel how fast it was running?" I said while pressing her palm against my chest. She nodded her head as yes.

"This is how it feel when you are with me. You are the only girl, who has the power to make it race." Saying that I moved inch closer to her. She closed her eyes as response. I smiled little and kissed her nose tip. She raised her head, to look at my eyes. I gave her sweet smile.

"See after kissing you it became normal" she realized her hand was still on my chest, she pulled her back to her and gave me a sharp look. I grinned mischievously.

"So it's your responsibility to take care of my heart, By the way I am getting late for my meeting so I'm leaving now, bye baby" saying that I kissed her forehead. Before I open the door she said.

"Baby? I-I am not your girlfriend. You can't call me like that." She stuttered little. Why are you so cute Chiquita.

"For now not, but don't worry I will make you fall for me, muahhh bye" saying that I walked out of her cabin.

Nandini POV:

"Fu*k, why the fu*k all things are happening to me arghhh" I pulled my hair to control my mind.

"Okay control. Nandini breath in, breath out, breath in, breath out. Just forget everything, when next time you meet him just warn him okay now relax" after my self-pep talk. I went to Varma sir cabin.

Afternoon 3pm:

After having my lunch. I came back to my cabin. Started studying the cases. Then my mobile started vibrating. Without looking at phone I lifted the call.

Phone Conversation:

Me: Hello!

Person: Nandini I told you 100 times to check your phone before you attend the call.
(I looked at my phone to see abhi's name)

Me: Sorry I'm studying a case report, so haven't observed.

Abhi: Okay! How's your first day?

Me: Yeah it's good, today we have less patients. So I'll be free by 8.

Abhi: Very good, the thing is I came to Mumbai for some business deal. I will complete my work by 8. Let's hit club.

Me: Abhi you know I am a doctor and moreover tomorrow I've hospital, so no. Let's go on Saturday.

Abhi: Hello madam! You are talking as if you are gonna drink if you got a free day, come on baby doll I know you better, okay.

Me: Ha ha ha! Shut up.

Abhi: And yeah I am not going to be around you for next one month, I'm leaving to London tomorrow.

Me: Why????
(I whined like a kid)

Abhi: For business Devil.
(I know that idiot must enjoying it)

Me: What business?

Abhi: That's none of your business.
(He is so irritating. Idiot)

Me: Arghhh I Hate you.
(He let out devilish laugh)

Abhi: Awww I hate you 3000 times.
(He mimicked me. I cut the call)

Phone Conversation ends.

"What the hell do he think of himself. He so arrogant. I will definitely complain it to uncle about that idiot,monkey,cat,buffalo,gorilla-" my thoughts came to halt by a vibration. I saw a message from Abhi.

Message from Abhi:

Get ready by 9, I will pick you up. Be ready as a good girl. If you do as I say I will get you a lollipop🍭 .

"This idiot what does he think of himself, do I look like a child to him" before I reply to his message I got another message from him.

Message from Abhi:

Don't you dare to say 'no'. You are coming that's it, if you are not ready by the time I came, then I will drag you to club in your night wears. What say.

I huffed at his message and typed a okay. After that I engulfed in my work till 6. At 6 me and Navya submitted our work to Prasad sir. He nodded his head and said he will check it later. We mumbled a okay and left his cabin.

"Nandini I'm going to grab some coffee wanna join?" Navya asked with tired tone.

"Yeah come on let's go to canteen" we both grabbed our coffee and settle down in vacant seats.

"So how's your day?" I asked after taking first sip.

"Nothing bro, there's no interesting case." She said with sad pout. I laughed at her expression.

"By the way you tell me how's your day?" She asked me with wide smirk. I gave her a weird look and said.

"What's so special in mine. Even mine is a normal one" I said confusedly. She gave a disbelieving look and said.

"Bro come on, You got a hot patient aka Manik Malhotra and you are saying that you have a normal day, like seriously. Dude you're the talk of the hospital today, do you know that?" I widen my eyes and said.

"Yes he is my patient, but why are you making it such a big deal?" Before she reply we listened another person's voice.

"Of course it's a big deal." We turned to look at the source. There I saw a girl in floral frock it reaches till her knees, her hair was just shoulder length and she has tons of make up on her face. In one hand she has stethoscope and Doctors apron. On another hand she is carrying her phone. There are other two girls behind her.

"It's a big deal Ms.whatever, He is one of the trustee of this hospital" she said with so much of arrogance.

"Who are you?" Navya asked with stern tone.

"Soha. Dr.Soha Khurrana Cardiologist" the girl behind her said with an attitude. Me and Navya shared a look and said.

"Dr.Soha, so what if he's a trustee? Still he is just my patient, that's it. Nothing more or Nothing less" I said with calm tone.

"It's better you treat him like as you said , if any chance you cross the line, I will make you regret it,okay. He is mine. Mind it" Saying that she left the place. Navya said.

"Dude she's suffering from 'Obsessed compulsive disorder'. That too last stage" We looked each other face and laughed a loud.

"Oh god she is too much" I said while controlling my laugh.

"True" she said while nodding her head. We both got up from our seats and went to our respective cabins.

Later 2 hours we got free from our work. Before leaving we informed sir. Navya flung her arm around me and said.

"Bro what's your plan?" I smiled at her excitement.

"My brother asked sorry ordered me to give him company in club" She laughed at my statement and said.

"Brothers are something huh! Okay then come on I will drop you at your apartment" I nodded my head as okay.

I was waiting for Navya at outside of the hospital, then I listened bullet bike sound behind. I was shocked to see Navya on bike, she stopped in front of me and said.

"Nandu hop on" She said while wearing her helmet.

"Bro it's so cool" I said with aww face. She gave me smirk and said.

"I know come on" I sat on her bike. She zoomed the bike into busy streets of Mumbai. After so many days I felt so free.

After 1 hour struggling with traffic we reached my flat.

"Okay then bye" saying that she was about to go. But I stopped her.

"Navya, Navya wait" she looked at me for confusedly.

"Why don't you join me tonight? We can have fun" I said with smile. I seriously want her to come with me. She's so cool, decent and chirpy girl I have ever met.

"Me? Nandini but you are going with your brother, you guys have fun like bro-sis type." She said with concern. I shook my head and said.

"I'm serious Navya please come with me."

"Bro but I don't have outfit" I gave her smirk and said.

"You can wear mine no problem come on" saying that nagged her 10mins to come with me. And guess what she agreed you know no one can resist this cute face.

I dragged her to my apartment, Navya selected a Jean skirt and red half shoulder top. I've selected a orange strap shoulder tight dress, it came till mid thigh.

"Someone's looking so hot" Navya said with a wink. I giggled at her statement.

"You look sexyyy" i gave her a air kiss.

At same time we listened door bell sound. I think Abhi is here, I went to open the door revealing Abhi. In his dark blue jeans white tee shirt with black jacket.

"Baby doll are you ready?" He asked with smile.

"One second I will get my purse and yeah I invited my colleagues, she's join us." He shrugged his shoulders casually and said.

"No problem more people means more fun" He said with smile. Before going inside I gave a tight peck on his cheek and mumbled a thank you.

"Navya come on let's go" I caught her hand and dragged her out of the flat.

Me, Abhi, Navya settled in Abhi's car. We reached the club in one hour. We entered the club. Today the club is in full swing. Abhi took us to VIP area. We sat in our seats and ordered our drinks. Me and Navya ordered mocktails as we have to go hospital tomorrow. Abhi ordered whiskey and some chicken staters for him and Navya. They both got gelled up very well in less time.

"So Abhi did you have girlfriend?" Navya asked with smirk.

"No yaar, i'm still single. why are you interested?" She widen her eyes and nodded her as no.

"Definitely not. You are not my type" he frowned at her words.

"Am I not handsome?" She giggled at him and said.

"You are. But I'm getting brotherly vibes from you." He kept hand on his hand dramatically.

"You wounded my heart but still you already called me as brother. So I'll accept it" We all laughed at it. Then my phone started ringing. I excused myself from them. I came out of the club to attend the call.

Phone Conversation:

Me: Hello mom! How are you?

Mom: I'm fine baby, How are you?

Me: I fine mom. How's uncle?

Mom: Yeah he is fine, How's your first day? Did find friends.

Me: It's good mom. Yeah I got a friend her name is Navya.

Mom: Wow that's good.

Me: By the way did you guys had dinner?

Mom: I am waiting for your uncle.

Me: It's nearly 10'O clock where is he?

Mom: Important meeting that's why I let him be out at this hour.
(I giggled at her)

Mom: Okay what are you doing?

Me: I and Abhi came to a club.

Mom: Okay have fun but be in your flat before 12 okay.
(She said with strict tone, I chuckled at her and said)

Me: Hmm okay mom bye take care, I love you.

Mom: Okay baby bye I love you too.

Phone Conversation ends.

After phone call, I felt a tap on my back. I turned back to see the person.

"You? What are you doing here?" I asked widen eyes.
