Third person's pov!

"Hey bhagwan. Who introduced this tradition of fasting for every silly matter? I can feel the rats running all around my tummy, begging for some food." Nidhi looked at the small Lord Shiva's idol on her table and complained, as her sister helped her drape a peach, lavender and pale green coloured saree.

She looked absolutely gorgeous in it.

"Nidhi, stop complaining. If you keep complaining like this, your fasting won't have any effect. You have to do it wholeheartedly." Bhadra Bua called out from the living room, exasperated at hearing the same complaint from her niece for the hundredth time this day.

"See, I starved for no reason. I couldn't eat and neither would my fasting be received by Shiv ji." Nidhi said grumpily.

"Paagal.." Priya mumbled under her breath with a chuckle.

"Aren't you two done? Laksh will come now. He said he will take us to the temple." Chandni came inside the girl's room.

"We are ready, Mama," Priya said.

Chandni looked at her girls and her heart filled. Her little girls had grown up.

"Nazar na lage.." Chandni said and took some kajal from her eyes and applied it behind the girls' neck.

"Amma, how many hours more for the moon to come?" Nidhi asked. Chandni rolled her eyes and walked out of the room.

By half past four in the evening, Siddharth and Parth reached Raichand Mansion.

"Di, get ready quickly." Siddharth said and hurried to his bedroom to get changed.

Jeevika watched her brother hurrying away in confusion and she then turned to Parth who had come in along with Siddharth.

"What happened to him? Where is he taking me?" Jeevika asked.

"Temple.." Parth said and Jeevika looked at Parth as if he just said he was an alien.

Parth chuckled.

"Nidhi is coming to the temple. It seems there is some puja.." Parth said and Jeevika chuckled.

"Ah I see. Since you also accompanied Bubba, I guess Nidhi is not the only one who is attending the puja." Jeevika teased and Parth flushed and hurried to his bedroom to get changed.

Viraj who had come to visit Jeevika was hurrying out when Jeevika blocked his way.

"Viraji. Bubba is taking us to the temple. Why don't you join us?" Jeevika asked and Viraj tried hard to keep his annoyance from showing on his face.

"Uh Jeevika ji, I have to meet a client. It's urgent." Viraj said in his most modest voice.

"Oh by the way, Viraj, there is something else too. I forgot to mention. Or did Viren already mention it to you? It's about Bubba. He has changed a lot. He is in.." Viraj didn't let Jeevika complete.

"Viren already told me, Jeevika ji. My client is waiting. You know how punctual I am. We will talk about this later, okay?" Viraj said and hurried out of the house, tired of hearing her Bubba puraan since childhood.

"He didn't even listen to me. I have been trying to tell him about Bubba and Nidhi since he arrived. Anyway, Viren told him. Then no problem. Else Nalini Nani would create a ruckus for that.." Jeevika mumbled under breath and went to get ready.

Siddharth parked the car and hurried up the stairs.

"Di, hurry up," Siddharth grumbled seeing his sister stopping to chat with some lady.

"Earlier, I had to emotionally blackmail you to accompany me to the temple." Jeevika teased and Siddharth rolled his eyes.

As they reached the temple Siddharth stopped on his tracks. He felt his heart skip a beat, seeing the multicolored gorgeousness in front of him.

His rainbow! He thought with a smile, seeing her looking like a beautiful rainbow without a single colour of rainbow on her.

The lights from the diyas lit around, reflected on the mirror works on her saree, making her glow more.

Siddharth couldn't take his eyes off her. He so wanted to tie a mangalsutra around her neck and carry her all the way back to Raichand Mansion.

Nidhi's eyes fell on the man staring at her intensely. And for some reason, she wasn't even shocked. Somehow, she had expected him to come too. She didn't know why.

She looked up and their eyes locked. Everything around them disappeared for a moment.

"Arre Jeevika beta," Bhadra Bua exclaimed, seeing the Raichand siblings there unexpectedly.

After the day they came with the proposal, it's the first time they are meeting.

"Bhadra Bua, how are you?" Jeevika engaged herself in a conversation with Bhadra Bua and Chandni.

Siddharth kept following Nidhi with his passionate gaze.

When he realised no one was paying attention, he went and stood very close to her.

Nidhi shot a glare at him, but it had no effect on him. He was so damn mesmerised.

Nidhi in saree is another level of beauty. Something that always tests his control. He remembered the last time he saw her in a saree. On that party night. If he had been a bit more smarter back then, things would have been different. Nidhi might already be his wife.

"You look gorgeous, Nidhi," Siddharth said huskily and Nidhi felt her heart beat pick up its pace.

She looked around, worried anyone might see the way he is behaving.

"Mr Raichand, please move. There are people around." Nidhi hissed at him and a smirk appeared on Siddharth's face.

"You won't mind if we are alone?" Siddharth teased and heat crept up her cheeks, making her much more beautiful.

Siddharth groaned seeing that. He ached to bite her rosy cheeks and taste them with his tongue.

"Don't wear saree until our marriage, Nidhi." Siddharth said huskily and Nidhi shot a confused look at him.

"I might lose my control. So better stick to your salwar kameez. That's better for your own safety." Siddharth mumbled and pinched lightly on the exposed part of her waist. Nidhi felt a current pass through her spine and she sprang away from him and shot an angry look at him.

Siddharth smirked and winked at her, making her more angry.

Nidhi moved away from him and stood next to her sister.

Laksh who turned around saw Viraj coming up the stairs and frowned seeing him stop on his tracks and him going pale.
