SHOT 84
Siddharth's pov!
I clenched my fists in anger when I spotted Nidhi getting into the car with Lakshit Mittal.
Why the hell is he always around Nidhi? Doesn't he have any other job?
Maybe it's high time I got in touch with the CEO of D-Fab and have him send Lakshit somewhere on a business trip.
I took a deep exasperated breath and turned around only to see a sulky Parth walking out of Rey Designs.
Great! Two miserable love sick Raichand men! Could this get any better? I thought in exasperation.
"Parth? All okay?" I asked, startling Parth out of whatever depressing thoughts he was in.
"Uh bhai?" Parth looked at me in confusion for a moment and then shrugged.
Before I could ask anything else, I noticed Lakshit starting the car.
"Get in," I told Parth urgently and got into the driving seat of the car. Parth, as usual, followed my order without any question.
"Uh bhai! Are you following someone?" Parth asked hesitantly a few minutes into the drive. He realized that I was following some other car.
"Yes. It's Lakshit Mittal's car," I gritted out angrily, through my clenched teeth.
"The representative of D - fab?" Parth asked in confusion.
"Yes. And he is somehow related to the Vyass. The bloody man is always seen around Nidhi." I bit out angrily and saw Parth looking at me in amusement.
He must have never imagined that his older cousin brother, the always rude and arrogant brother, would one day be so sick with love and jealous of any man.
It must be quite an entertaining sight for him, I thought.
"Why are you following Lakshit Mittal? Are you going to beat him up when we reach some isolated area?" Parth asked jokingly, but as soon as the words got out of his mouth he got really worried too. It is evident from his face that he is actually worried I might beat Lakshit up.
"Bhai? Are you really going to hit him? Because the angry arrogant Siddharth Singh Raichand was more predictable than this new Romeo Singh Raichand. So, I am really worried now." Parth said and I looked at him in exasperation.
"What? And have Nidhi chop off my head?" I asked sarcastically.
"Uh! I was just joking." Parth said, chuckling nervously but I knew he wasn't joking. He was really worried.
"Nidhi is also there in that car." I admitted grudgingly.
A smile was forming on Parth's face but my next words would definitely wipe that smile off his face.
"Don't smile. Your Priya is also there in that car." I said smugly.
As soon as he heard Priya's name, his smile disappeared.
"What happened? From the depressed look on your face, I know something happened. Spill." I demanded answers.
"I told Priya about my feelings." Parth mumbled and I was shocked.
My little brother finally grew some spine to express his love.
That's a great improvement!
"Wonderful. And what did she say?" I asked, though I knew the response couldn't have been a favourable one.
"She said NO," Parth said in a miserable tone.
"Why? Doesn't she feel anything for you?" I asked bluntly. What's the point of beating around the bushes?
"She does. She didn't say it in words. But I understood. She said, our family wouldn't agree to it." Parth said and I frowned.
"What nonsense. Our family took my proposal for Nidhi. Then how can she think they will be against your relationship?" I asked in disbelief.
"She might be silent, but she is smart. She realised that they had come with the proposal under your pressure." Parth mumbled and I didn't have anything to argue.
In that case, Priya is absolutely right!
"Parth, she is right about that. Convince your mother first. Then proceed. My case and yours are different. I am stubborn and I don't care much about what people think. Even if the whole family is against it, the moment Nidhi says YES, I will marry her. You don't have that courage. So, either convince your mother or grow some courage to go against them no matter what." I said and Parth nodded.
We spotted Lakshit's car stopping in front of the Shiv mandir and the girls getting down. As soon as the girls got down, the car drove away.
I parked the car and got down, Parth followed me up the stairs leading to the temple.
We spotted both the sisters standing with folded hands in front of the deity.
I stood right behind Nidhi and Parth stood behind Priya.
The Pandit who came out with the prasad was stunned to see me, Siddharth Singh Raichand, in the temple, that too with a smile on my face. He was looking at me in disbelief and I shot a smile at him too.
The Pandit looked up at the sky and I scowled, realising what that gesture meant. He was checking to see where there was going to be a thunderstorm coming!
"Pandit ji, are there any pooja that could be done by unmarried men to get the girl of their dreams?" I asked, shocking the hell out of the people, who knew me, around. Everyone were looking at me in shock.
Even Nidhi was looking at me in shocked disbelief.
'What the hell is your problem?' Her face screamed that question.
And I had the nerve to look at her when I asked that question to the priest.
The Pandit looked at me in disbelief.
He then noticed that my eyes were trained on Nidhi, who was doing everything she could, to avoid my eyes. Ah! So, he must have got an idea whom I meant.
The pandit then turned to look at Parth and much to his shock, he saw the younger Raichand looking at the elder Vyas with heart in his eyes.
I couldn't help but chuckle reading his thoughts on his face.
The Pandit offered prasad to the girls first, and then he offered it to us too.
"Priya di, let's go." Nidhi said, took hold of her sister's hand and walked away.
I leisurely followed her, much to her annoyance.
"Come, we will drop you home." I said casually.
"No, thank you. We can walk." Nidhi said, without looking at me, which annoyed me.
"Why? You don't have a problem getting into that Lakshit Mittal's car." I couldn't help but say that out loud.
"That's right! I don't have a problem getting in his car." Nidhi said much to my annoyance.
"Why? Who the hell is he? Why is he always stuck to you?" I bit out, momentarily forgetting that we have an audience in the form of my brother and her sister.
"How is that any of your business, Mr Raichand?" Nidhi snapped back angrily.
"It is my business, because you are mine, damn it." I bit out and slammed a hand over the top of my car, startling everyone..
