Radhika's POV:

Married?!

Pregnant?!

When Shekar yelled at me saying that she is married and Pregnant, for few minutes I was unable to speak, even think about anything. I was shocked but my shock was soon replaced by worry for Neetu after seeing her fainting and sleeping in Laksh's room with heavy breathing.

She is sleeping peacefully like a little child, just like when we found her on the highway of Calcutta many years ago. My eyes started shedding tears and I don't know whether they are tears of happiness or sadness.

Am I sad that I can't play an important role in my baby doll's wedding or am I happy she is married to her love and soon she will be blessed with a baby!!

Laksh is holding my sleeping beauty's one hand and I am holding the other. Laksh shared the same expression like mine. Deadly worrying about my daughter! Shekar injected a syringe into her vein. She just winced with pain saying "Mumma" and held my hand more tightly even in her sleep. Shekar said she is fine and she will be conscious after a while....

Waiting for her to be conscious again, I decided one thing that I will take care of her and my grandchild in spite of what people think about her or our family. Neetu is the biggest blessing that god gave to our family and so now my grandchild will be too!! Laksh is a good guy and he loves my daughter...so I don't have any problem with him and his family except Neelima. I will love and protect them from all the evil forces (Neelima) surroundings them.

When Neetu woke up again...Shekar told Meenu to bring her some juice from a kitchen. Neelima hurried to the kitchen but Of course I rejected the juice she brought...and made another one for my princess. How can I trust her?

After a while when Neetu is fine...Aunt Vijetha gave a motherly hug to Neetu and told everyone to call off the day. I told her that I am going to take my daughter home my home...surprisingly she didn't deny and she even told Laksh to drop Neetu at our place, unlike someone who is faking tears continuously for a while. My polite daughter tried to say bye to my ex-best friend but I didn't give her the chance. How can I excuse someone who is the real reason for my daughter's gloomy face?

Third Person POV:

After Neetu's family left along with Laksh, Vijetha tells Ravinder to console Neelima who was crying for almost an hour. Vijetha knows that guilt is killing Neelima and it's going to take some time for Neelima to digest Neetu and Laksh wedding.....

Ravinder tells Neelima to try to sleep...but she can't make it....

Ravinder: Neelima, do you remember...just one week before Laksh's second birthday he was seriously ill and admitted to ICU

Neelima (continuous crying): yes!! I remember that bad day as it was just like yesterday. It's my fault... Laksh asked me for some snacks and I gave him cookies carelessly without checking that it has soya mixed in it.....I felt so sorry for him.

Ravinder (taunts): Sorry? I thought you have done it intentionally!! It's an indirect method to hurt Laksh and no one can blame you.

Neelima: No!! No!! Why will I do that?

Ravinder (taunts again): actually now you have done more than that.... You asked Neetu to break up with Laksh knowing that it would hurt him the most. See till now no one blamed you...Laksh, Rishi, My mom, Radhika not even that poor girl Neetu never uttered a word against you till now. Congrats!! Your plan is a huge success.

Neelima: Ravinder I thought it was for Laksh's own good but now I realised my mistake. I already confessed everything in front of your mom and today I was about to accept Neetu again...

Ravinder (taunts): oh really!! I thought you are more displeased by hearing about my grandchild!

Neelima (cries): Don't say like that!! It's my grandchild too...You know I love Laksh more than Rishi and tomorrow I will go to Neetu and ...and

Ravinder: oh!! Then... you are going to ask Neetu to divorce Laksh... and you are going to do that for Laksh's own good right!!

Neelima (closes her ears and shouts): no!! no! no!! I am not a fool to do that... and even though I do so, Neetu will be a bigger fool than me...if she tries to divorce Laksh because of me.

Ravinder laughs thinking Neetu is really a big fool comparing to Neelima and then sheds Neelima's tears and asks her to rest well. He switches off the bed light before sleeping and Neelima holds his hand and say "Tomorrow I will go to Radhika's home and apologise to her family and bring my Neetu back as soon as possible"

Laksh comes home after dropping Neetu at Radhika's place. He somehow knows that now the matter is out of hand and his Grandma and Aunt Neelima are going to bring Neetu home as soon as possible.

Next day Morning:

Radhika is busy in kitchen making breakfast for her pregnant daughter. Meenu for the first time in her life time woke up early in the morning at 7.30 am and tried to sneak out from the house...Radhika still notices her and asks her where she is going?

Meenu: Mom!! For jog....

Radhika: Oh really!! Then why are you taking your laptop bag along with you?

Meenu (starts to run): sorry mom!! Leave me!! I will be back in an hour....Bye...bye....

Radhika, this time, doesn't run behind Meenu as she is busy in preparing breakfast for Neetu...Meenu on the way out notices Neelima coming into her house and says...

Meenu: Aunty!! Aunty!! Don't go inside... it's a danger zone but safe zone for only Neetu sis. From yesterday, my mom broke 30 to 45% of crockery in our house and I really pity my Papa because he was the initial target of that crockery.

Neelima: What?

Now Meenu animatedly explains Neelima what happened last night in her house when Neetu was sleeping upstairs....

Meenu's POV: Last Night:

Laksh BIL: I will make arrangements for Neetu in my/our room. Goodnight aunty-uncle. I'll see you around.

Mom: Laksh... I accept your relationship with Neetu and you as her husband. I trust you and I know love her so much. Frankly speaking, I cannot get anyone better than you for my Neetu but still, I can't send her to your family or to your house.

Laksh BIL: Take rest, aunt. I will come back tomorrow in the morning. Hope you don't mind. I am sure that my Grandma would have few words to say on this topic.

When BIL left...

Mom: how is Neetu, Shekar? She is okay... right?

Papa: yes she is. Just need to be careful around people who lose their temper easily. Eat well, sleep well and smile well. These are the medicines needed for any pregnant women.

Mom: Thank God!!! I'm relieved that Neetu is sound and safe.

Mom (calmly in a low tone): What is my mistake Shekar?

Papa: huh?

Mom: What is my mistake Shekar? I did not do anything. Neelima broke off the engagement. I begged her for my daughter's love, keeping my pride aside. But there was no use. I tried everything I can to bring the old smiling, blabbering and my sweet Neetu back aftermath. I tried Shekar!! I tried everything!!! But see what I got, as a result, betrayal from my own husband. I know Neetu is wrong not informing me about her marriage and I would deal with that after her delivery. But you Shekar, You kept this big secret from me. I would be happy if I would know that my daughter married the person she loved. Why am I kept in dark Shekar? Why is it you know everything way before and not me? Where was my mistake in everything that happened Shekar? Tell me what was my mistake?

Mom threw everything near her hand distance at him. He kept dodging but she made sure that her heel hit Papa.

Papa: Radhika... S-stop. I k-know y-you are –not at fault. B-but everything h-happened so q-quickly that there was no chance t-to tell y-you. A-and at that time y-you are angry with Neelima s-so I thought that would a-affect you view on them. S-so__

Neetu sis: Mamma.... What happened? Why is it noisy? Why are you in the living room like this? Did earthquake occur?

Neetu sis asked from upstairs rubbing her eyes out of sleepiness.

Mom: No darling. You sleep. I will ask the maids to clean it. We'll not be noisy. MEENU.....

Me: Yes mamma

Mom: Go fetch a glass of water and a glass of warm milk for Neetu and accompany her in her room till I come.

Me: yes mamma...

Mom: Neetu, baby girl!!! Have milk and sleep. Good night.

Neetu: Goodnight mamma.

Me: Good Night Mamma.

When I was going upstairs...I heard Mom angrily saying to Papa "Never ever show your face to me Shekar!" and continued to crying. But when I woke up mom and Papa are sleeping on the sofa. Papa just went to the hospital to attend some emergency...

Third Person POV:

Even after hearing Meenu's animated description Neelima ignores her words and goes inside....and at the same time...

Neetu (just woke up and shouts from upstairs): mom!! mom!! where are you?

Radhika: Baby! I am downstairs in the kitchen... come here...

On the way down Neetu is shocked to see Neelima and says "mom!! mom!! I am day dreaming again"

Radhika (in the kitchen) thinks what idiotic words Neetu is saying and comes out...

Radhika: Baby! It's not daydreaming.... it is nightmare!!

Neelima: Radhika I am sorry...

Neetu: no aunty!! I am the one who should apologise as I was not able to go away from Laksh...

Neelima: no Neetu... I am not angry with you or Laksh anymore.

Radhika: But I am angry with you...Neelima! For sure!!

Neetu (to change the topic): Mom!! I am hungry... I brushed my teeth also...can you give me something to eat?

While Neetu is having her breakfast which consists of pancakes with chocolate syrup, fresh fruits and a cup of tea. Neetu was enjoying her breakfast when...

Radhika: Why are you here Neelima? When are you going to leave?

Neelima: I'm here to visit my daughter in law and my grandchild.

Radhika scoffed at her statement but did not retort. Just then Laksh calls Neetu. Neetu is reluctant to pick the call as she is in the divine presence of her mom and aunty. Radhika narrowed her eyes at her looking at the phone as if telling her to accept the call.

Radhika: Keep the phone in speaker Neetu and continue digging in your food!

She does.

Neetu: hello... Laksh.

Laksh: Good morning sweetheart. How is my love doing today?

Neetu: good. I'm fine. What about you? (Neetu answers hesitantly eyeing both the moms)

Laksh: Why are so stiff talking to me, love. Did you not still get over yesterday's issue. Just chill Neetu baby. Don't worry. See I told you I would manage everything. See I did. Don't think about useless things. Okay?

Neetu: hmmm.

Laksh: I came this morning to drop Neelima aunty at your house. I had to go back since you were still sleeping. Now tell me did you had your breakfast?

Neetu: Yes... having now.

Laksh: What are you having for your breakfast?

Neetu: Pancakes with chocolate syrup and fruits.

Laksh: Good... Now, my sexy wife, do you remember our chocolate scene in Shimla? Hmmm damn, you should've not reminded me about chocolate. I just wanna come over there eat chocolate from your lips just like we'd in Shimla market. Hmmm, tasty. God, now I need to have a cold shower.

Neetu: (shrieks) LAKSH....... Bye Laksh I'll talk to you later.

Neetu cuts the call not before hearing Laksh laugh. Neelima and Radhika are dumbfounded and both of their faces are red with embarrassments. They were about to go their ways when Radhika's drivers arrive with the car keys and hands over to her. Before leaving the drivers tells Neetu...

"Neetu mam... you and Laksh sir look so good together and both of you pictures together in the newspaper are so good. You look like a match made in heaven."

Radhika, Neelima and Neetu (in unison) : What photos?! What Newspaper?!

At the same time at Benerjee House:

Ravi: Mom! See these...Laksh and Neetu's photos are over the media! and...and...

Vijetha: Good morning to you son!! and Don't worry I ordered my disaster management team to take care of it!

Ravi: Disaster management team? What is that?

Vijetha (Sighs): You don't know them professionally Ravi.

They charge awfully high like seven digits number and works only 1 day a year. 

These time those two want me to send them to Laksh's resort in South Africa on my private flight...with their 25 more useless best friends for 15 days wild camp , everything on my expenses!

Their other demand is to increase their pocket money by 200% starting  from this week because they believe due to hike in Internet, shopping and technology costs they can't afford a decent meal for themselves!

But I am sure they will get the work in an hour.

Ravi(confused): Who are they?

A big sorry! I can't update yesterday! 

Guess what! It's raining here...no electricity and no charging in Laptop..!

To compensate that I will try to update one more chapter in 2 to 3 days.

I will make  sure that next chapter is really going to be hilarious and beautiful to compensate....
