"I can't sleep the whole night..."Nandini said as she took a bite of the granola bar and then chased it down by milk..directly from the carton.

"..but I don't know how early morning meri aankh lag gai..and I fell asleep.."she shook her head in annoyance as she picked her file and bag from the table. "Woh toh Aiyappa saved me by sending Navya into my room..otherwise I would still be asleep.."

"Arey baba..at least now you are on time na.."Shanno kept the lunch box on the table "..then at least now eat your food properly..and relax.."

Nandini kept the lunch box inside her bag."Chachi if I relax now na then my boss will definitely fired me on my first day only."

"Yeah right..how can he fire you like that only.."Shanno's question made her smile.

"Because he is my boss chachi..that's how"Nandini pulled Shanno's cheek.

"So what if he is your boss..he can't fire you for such a small thing. I swear I will break his bones if he even tried to be unreasonable."Nandini slapped her forehead after hearing Shanno's words. "Chachi you are too filmy.."

"Don't you think I know that.."Shanno smiled."..after all that's my Ultimate Speciality"

"Chachi you are the best.."Nandini planted a kiss on Shanno's cheek. "Even you are no less bachcha.."Shanno pulled Nandini's cheeks too."By the way I wanted to ask you something.."

"About what.."Nandini asked as she picked up her phone and continued to check her mobile.

"About your new boss.."Shanno's words stopped Nandini in her track. Looking up at Shanno she asked "What about him.."

"How is he.."Shanno's question confused Nandini. "How am I supposed to know that Chachi..I have only met him once.."

"But you would have got some idea about him na..since you have met him personally once.."Shanno's words only confused Nandini more. "Chachi I am not a psychic or a face reader who will expertly read a person's face just by meeting that person once."

"Then too..what was your first thought about him when your eyes fell on him.."Shanno's question made Nandini smiled. "Chachi what kind of a question is that.."

"Oh God Nandini..why are you being such a spoilsport..just go with the flow and tell me what was your first impression of him."Shanno pressed.

"I haven't thought about it Chachi.."Nandini once again looked at her cell phone. Shanno snatched the phone away so that she can have Nandini's undivided attention. "Keep your phone aside for a while and pay attention to my question."

"Chachi I told you na.."Nandini shook her head in amusement. "I haven't given thought about it."

"So think now na..and tell me.."Shanno asked too excitedly.

"You really won't let this go..will you."Nandini knew the only way Shanno will let her go only if she answers Shanno's question. As a matter of fact Shanno's words confirmed her thoughts too. "You know me so well Nandu.."Shanno smirked. "So tell me.."

"Fine..if that's what you want."Nandini sighed as she considered Shanno's question. "Well he was intense..formal..focused..courteous..and mostly intimidating."

"Anything else.."Shanno's question finally cleared the picture in front of Nandini. Looking back at Shanno Nandini replied. "He isn't anything like HARSHAD Chachi.."

Blood drained off Shanno's face as Nandini mentioned Harshad's name. "Nandini I didn't mean.."Shanno tried to explain but Nandini stopped her. "It's okay Chachi..I know how difficult this must be for you.."

"You and Chacha haven't inform Amms about it..on top of that you all are worried about me--because of the past experiences..in fact you and Chacha are drowning in a pool of guilt..of not telling the truth about my job to Amms..on top of that if something wrong happens...you won't be able to forgive yourself.

"That's why you all are making sure that I don't get into any sort of trouble...isn't that the reason why you are asking me these kind of question."Nandini smirked.

"You know us too well na.."Shanno smiled. "How can I not after all I am your daughter na Chachi..how can I not be smart.."Nandini winked. "True that.."Shanno agreed. "But on a serious note Nandu..tell me are you really comfortable working in MALHOTRA INDUSTRIES. I hope you are happy..and hopefully you aren't forced to take this job because of us."

"Chachi..what are you saying."Nandini scowled. "Don't ever say things like this ever please..or else I will stop talking to you"

"Fine baba..I am sorry..I am extremely sorry"Shanno held her ears. "I promise I won't repeat this..Promise."

Nandini removed Shanno's hand from her ears and held in her own hand. "It's okay Chachi.."

"But you are happy na.."Shanno asked once again. "I am Chachi..I don't know why but somehow I could feel that this experience will change my life forever..but for betterment"

"Your Aiyappa's blessings are with you my dear..nothing wrong can happen with you"Shanno caressed Nandini's face.

"Thank You Chachi.."saying this Nandini hug Shanno. "You are the best.."

"And you are late.."breaking the hug Shanno pointed towards the wall clock.

Nandini's eyes widened in horror as her eyes fell on the clock which indicated that she was already running 15 minute late.

"Aiyappa.."Nandini slapped her forehead. "Please save me.."saying this Nandini picked up her back and hugging Shanno one last time she rushed towards the door.

But before she could step out she dashed into Venkatesh.

"Sorry Chacha..I didn't see you."Nandini apologised. "I am already running late so I need to rush..considering my luck I am pretty sure that I won't get a cab or anything..I don't know how will I reach office on time."

"Simple"Venkatesh smirked. "Through that.."saying this he pointed towards something.

"What.."Nandini was confused so her eyes followed the direction towards with Venkatesh was pointing.

And the very next moment her eyes widened in shock as her eyes fell on something..

.... A Silver Colour Volvo...

...with Malhotra's written on it--that was standing on her driveway.

Before Nandini could react Venkatesh spoke "this car is sent by your boss..from today onwards you will travel in this car for anything related to your work purpose. Since it's your first day at work that's why your boss didn't wanted you to be late..so that's why this.."Venkatesh pointed toward the car.

"So go now..I am sure you don't want to be late on your first day at work."Venkatesh encouraged.

Though Nandini had zillions of questions going inside her head but still she chose to keep quiet at the moment as she didn't wanted to be late on her first day of work.

So she silently got into the car and the very next moment car left for its desire destination..
