"Navya..enough is enough now.."Nandini rolled her eyes in annoyance. "What the hell are you doing from past two hours..."before she could crib any longer Navya cut her in "Hey Matarani..this girl can never change..."then looking at Nandini she said "Nandu..if you could keep your mouth shut for just few more minutes you will automatically come to know about everything .."

"Navya please yaar...I beg you..just finish off this suspense na..and tell me what are you doing with my job profile from past two hours .."Nandini was getting suspicious now.

"Arey I am helping you only..and you..you are doubting me only..sach kaha hai kisi ne--bhalai ka toh zamana hi nai raha (someone has rightly said that there is no place for good deeds.)"Navya said dramatically.

"Okay Miss Drama Queen..just stop with your Drama..but yaar please..tell me na what are you upto.." Nandini said making a puppy face.

"Oh ho..very smart Nandini Murthy. Threatening didn't worked so now you are using Emotional Blackmailing Card on me..I am impressed."Navya's words made her smirked.

"As long as it works I have no issues using it"Nandini said shamelessly. "I hope it worked."

"It did."Navya nodded making her smile. "Come..see for yourself "Navya took a step aside just enough to make space for Nandini.

Nandini looked at Navya's face and all of a sudden out of now her heart started beating faster.

Something was up.

Not only that...

Something was wrong...

Like Really Wrong..

Gathering all the courage she finally looked back at the computer screen and the very next moment her eyes widened in horror.

"Navya..What the hell is this.."Nandini screamed without taking her eyes off from the screen.

"What..I thought you would like it.."Navya was taken aback by her reaction.

"Are you crazy Navya"Nandini finally looked at Navya with venom filled eyes "You fed me to sharks and you are asking me "What"..not only that you thought I would love it..seriously don't you know me at all Navya.."

"Offo Nandini..just relax..and stop being so over dramatic.."Navya shrugged her off making her more angry.

"What is wrong with you Navya..even after doing all this you are taking all this so lightly.."Nandini couldn't believe it.

"Relax Nandini..I haven't said lied a single thing there..have I..everything that I have stated in there is 100% true..so why are you creating such a big fuss about it.."Navya rolled her eyes.

"I know you haven't lied but what was the need..you know na Amms won't agree to this..and if she came to know about all this..then.."Nandini shook her head in horror." No I can't do this to her. She just got a little better..I don't want her getting sick..all over again..that too because of me.."Looking at Navya she ordered. "Take it down..Now.."

"But Nandini..."Navya was about to argue when Nandini stopped her by cutting in "Navya just do as I say..I have promised Amms..that I will return to Mangalore once I finish my M.B.A. so please don't make me break my promise..please take that resume down now."

"Why Nandini " Navya snapped back."Let me tell you..why " Navya covered the distance between them and looking straight at her she replied."so that she can get you  married to the guy of her choice."

Nandini's head snapped up "It's not like that Navya. I am not a burden for her that she wants to get rid off."

"Really " Navya snorted. "Then please kindly enlightened me Miss. Nandini Murthy..because honestly I can't see any other reason."

"Navya how can you say something like this..don't you know Amms..she loves me more than anyone. I am her most priceless possession...in fact I am her world Navya."Nandini argued.

"Reason Nandini..I am waiting for that " Navya said making a straight face.

"The reason she doesn't want me to work is.."Nandini chocked as she tried to get the words out of her mouth. "..because she is scared Navya."

"Scared of what Nandini.."Navya asked sternly. "Not all the employers of the world are like that Nandini...what happened in Mangalore.."but before she could complete Nandini shouted "Navya..don't.."

"Why Nandini..why should i stop.."Navya held her shoulder. "It wasn't your fault..and most importantly before anything bad could happen..you stopped it Nandini.."Navya pointed at her. "You..Nandini..You."

Nandini looked up with tears brimming in her eyes.

Navya sighed and caressing Nandini's hair she continued "You aren't a damsel in distress Nandini..You aren't some helpless maiden..and that incident was an classic example of that. You fought back. And You fought back so fiercely that scared the hell out of that.."Navya said with a feeling of disgust

"..and he ran away. You not only saved yourself but you also saved God knows the life of how many innocent girls from getting spoiled."Placing her fingers under Nandini's chin she lifted her face up so that Navya could directly look into her eyes. "You are a tigress Nandini..why do you keep forgetting that.."

"I know Navya"Nandini closed her eyes and sighed. "I know nothing can even touch me without my permission let alone harming me..but it's just..that I don't want my Amms to go through that apprehension all over again."

"But Nandini..why don't you understand..the guy that she might get you married with what if turns out to be a abuser. God forbid what if you get up caught in domestic violence..then..then what."Navya questioned. "It's not necessary that the guy that Amms chooses is Satan masquerade as an Angel ...then what Nandini..won't Amms feel bad then..when she would end up destroying your entire life.."

"Navya why are you being so negatively dramatic.."Nandini snapped.

"I am genuinely pointing the truth Nandini."Navya snapped back. "You and Your Amms are the one who is dwelling into negativity. I understand she is scared but that doesn't mean she would stop you from living your life. You are a Scholar Nandini..you aren't only blessed with looks but blessed with intelligence too. You are a classic example of Beauty With Brains Nandini."

"You have all the potential to become a successful entrepreneur just as your Appa wanted. But you are letting it go because of your wrong inhibition. Is that correct. Do you think your Appa would be happy seeing you waste your talent like this..trust me..he isn't"

"But Navya.."Nandini tried to speak that when someone else spoke. "No but Nandini..Navya is right.."

"Even I agree."another person spoke as well.

They both turned only to fine Shanno and Venkatesh at the door.

"Chacha-Chachi."Nandini's face became pale as all the blood drained away from her face.

"What Chacha-Chachi"Navya said looking at her while Shanno and Venkatesh walked in "You really thought I did all this like that only..it was there idea only..because they also wanted this"

Nandini was too shocked to respond so she continued to gawk at all three of them.

"Nandu..say something.."Shanno was worried now.

"But Chachi-Chachi..I promised."was all Nandini could say.

"We know you did..but beta we also made a promise to your Appa and Amma that we will treat you like our own daughter and we will do everything in our power to help you so that you can achieve all the success of the world and end up becoming everything that your Amma-Appa dreamt of."

"Amma is worried because she is too scared to loose you..but tommorow when you will end up becoming something great..trust us beta..she will be the one who will end be the most happiest person on the planet..she will be the number one fan of Nandini Murthy's Fanclub"

"But what if she comes to know about it.."Nandini was scared.

"She will.."Shanno caressed her hair. "But only at the right time."

"..and right now the time isn't right..and her health isn't fine too..so even if we try won't listen to us because of her stubbornness..and her health might deteriorate further..so it's better if we don't say anything to her right now..but yes once she will see that there isn't nothing to be scared off she will only support you."Venkatesh spoke taking her into side hug.

"And if by any case even this time your boss turns out to be..you know what..then you already know how to deal with him. In fact in that case I could only pray for him..because you will turn his life into a living nightmare.."Navya winked making Nandini smiled.

"Chacha-Chachi you both really think it's a good idea..I don't want Amms to suffer or get hurt because of me.."Nandini voiced her concern once again.

"You won't Nandini..you will only make her proud..like you always have."Shanno bragged like a proud mother.

"Promise.."Nandini asked innocently.

"Nandini Promise"all three of them spoke together.

"Fine...if that's what you all want..then I will do this for you all.."Nandini's words made all of them smile.

"That's like a Murthy."saying this both Shanno and Venkatesh hugged her.

Navya was about to say something when all of a sudden Nandini's phone rang.

Navya picked it up as it was on the side table that she was standing next to.

"Who's it Navya"Nandini asked Navya who was busy looking into the phone.

"It's a private number.."Navya frowned.

"Let me see"Nandini got out of her Chacha-Chachi's embrace and took the phone from Navya's hand.

Sliding the green button she answered the call. "Hello.."

"Am I speaking to Miss Nandini Murthy"the voice from the other end spoke.

"Yes"Nandini replied."Can I know who I am speaking to.."

"Miss.Murthy. This is the H.R. Head of Malhotra Industries Mukti Vardhan speaking..Do you have a moment.."Mukti asked.

"Absolutely Mam..please go ahead"Nandini answered back in her most professional tone.

"Miss Murthy we just happen to come across your resume that you updated online. You are in your third semester of M.B.A. correct"Mukti questioned.

"Yes Mam"Nandini spoke while she nodded her head too.

"We have an excellent internship program at Malhotra Industries. And looking at your resume you are perfectly suited for this programme. So would you like to apply for one of the vacancies of this programme.."Mukti's words made her smile.

"Yes of course Mam..What do I have to do"Nandini was too excited but somehow she succeeded in getting a grip over her emotions.

"Great. We have arranged an interview session tommorow for all the applicants at 10.00 A.M. I will email you the list of all the important details that you will be required to bring with you. "Mukti informed.

"Okay Mam."Nandini answered.

"Great..We will see you tomorrow then Miss.Murthy."Mukti spoke.

"Absolutely Mam."Nandini replied affirmatively.

"Have a great day Miss Murthy"Mukti said firmly but politely.

"You too Mam. Good bye...and thank you once again"Nandini added.

"Good bye.."saying this Mukti ended the call.

Nandini turned to look at the faces of her family members who were too apprehensive to say anything.

Nandini smiled. "Stop looking at me like this. Your wishes have come true. I have a job interview at Malhotra Industries tommorow.."

And the very next moment she was pulled into a family hug where all of them were congratulating her happily from the bottom of their heart.

Nandini was ecstatic too especially looking at the happy and glowing faces of her family members but somewhere deep down in her heart out of no where she was getting this feeling that the questions that had been haunting her every night from past couple of weeks she was very close..in fact too close..to get the answers of all those unanswered questions.
