"Jack! Look who's calling! It's Uncle Bill!" Al says with a cheeky smile.

"Eeee!" Jack says as Al picks him up and they sit in the recliner together.

"Hi!" Al says as he answers the FaceTime call.

"Hey, Al! How are you guys holding up with this smoke?" Bill asks Al.

"Doing okay for the most part. Just trying to stay inside today, right?" Al asks his six month old.

Jack babbles in response as he tries to grab his dad's iPhone.

"Jack, no! This is my phone, little one." Al playfully says to his son.

"Aaaaaa!" Hope squeals happily.

"Is that my little niece I hear?" Al asks Bill.

"Yes it is! Look, Hopey! It's Uncle Al and Jack!" Bill says as Hope looks on the phone screen and smiles.

Jack and Hope both smile at each other and babble loudly, causing Al and Bill to both chuckle.

"They're best friends alright!" Al says with a smile.

"Right. They're probably plotting what trouble they're gonna get into the next time they have a playdate." Bill says while Mariah giggles in the background.

"Mariah? Is that you?" Al asks curiously.

"Yes, it's me! Hi, Mr. Al! School let out early because of the smoke and I wanted to spend time with one of my favorite babies!" Mariah says as she shows herself on camera.

"Aaaa eeee!" Jack says to Mariah with a smile.

"Hi, Jack! You are getting so big! And you have sooo much hair!" Mariah says to Jack in a babyfied voice.

"Yes, he does! He hates getting it washed!" Al says, causing Mariah to giggle.

"You're Daddy's twin, aren't you?" Mariah asks Jack and he smiles at her.

"Wait a minute? Where's my birthday buddy, Al?" Bill asks.

"She's relaxing right now in another bedroom in the house. I took her to the pharmacy to get tested two days ago." Al explains.

"Tested? She's not pregnant is she?" Mariah asks with a shocked look.

"No, she's not! She'd probably give me the side eye if she was expecting again! Tip got her tubes tied after Jack was born, so no more kids for us!" Al says while Jack babbles at his Daddy.

"He's like, no more siblings. I'm the baby!" Bill says as Hope babbles at the screen.

"Then what did she get tested for?" Mariah asks Al.

"Strep throat. Unfortunately, she has it. She could not talk at all when she got tested on the 5th. After taking antibiotics and some other medicine for her throat, she's doing better and her voice is mostly back. She'll be non-contagious by tomorrow." Al says while breathing a sigh of relief.

"That's no fun! She probably got it after the vow renewal ceremony and reception. But she did do a lot of talking and singing that day!" Bill says with a smile.

"No kisses for you for at least one more day. Has Jack been missing his mama?" Mariah asks playfully.

"Right. And Jack is missing her. I love kissing my wife good morning almost every day and Jack loves to cuddle with her, but it's been hard not being too close to her. I've been taking care of Jack and her mostly on my own, but Sienna's been a big help as always. Jonathan drove from New York to see us and Jack's been enjoying his company!" Al says with a smile.

"Didn't you have a speaking engagement yesterday?" Mariah asks him.

"I did. But because of the air quality, we did it virtually. I wasn't even gonna go because I wanted to take care of Tipper and this little guy like I've been doing." Al says as he kisses Jack on the cheek.

"You know, Jonathan is a great kid. Those two are love birds, huh?" Bill says to Al playfully.

"Oh for sure! Jonathan and Sienna actually just went to get some food for us, we are having Chinese food. And Tipper requested some ice cream." Al says as Jack babbles.

"That sounds good! Mariah's gonna make chicken tacos for us. And this little girl here is gonna have some chicken cut up and some mac and cheese." Bill says as he bounces Hope on his lap.

"Da Da!" Hope says happily as Jack babbles at the screen.

"What else do you have to say, little man?" Mariah asks Jack in a babyfied voice as he continues to babble at her.

"You wanna go see if Mama's awake? Then let's go!" Al says as he gets up from the recliner and heads upstairs.

"Hopefully Tipper is resting!" Bill says as Hope babbles.

"I have been making her stay in bed!" Al says playfully, causing Bill, Mariah and Hope all laugh.

Al makes it to the bedroom his wife is in and knocks on the door.

"It's open." Tipper says as she texts Laura Bush, checking in on her family down in Texas and Al opens the door

"Look, Jack! It's Mama!" Al says to his son while standing just outside.

"Aaaaaa!" Jack squeals happily.

"Hi, baby boy! Hi, sweet boy!" Tipper says as she smiles ear to ear at Jack before putting a mask on.

"Look who we have on the phone!" Al says with a cheeky grin.

"Hey, Tip!" Bill says as he waves happily.

"Hi, Mrs. Tipper!" Mariah says as she waves too.

"Hi, Mariah! Hi, Bill!" Tipper says while waving at the camera.

"Aaaa! Ba ba!" Hope says happily.

"Is that Miss Hope Clinton I hear?" Tipper asks while smiling behind the mask.

"Yes, it is!" Bill says as he shows Hope and Hope smiles ear to ear.

"How are you feeling, baby?" Al asks Tipper with a grin.

"I feel better! Just tired! Strep throat at my age knocked me out!" Tipper says playfully.

"It's expected after all the singing and talking we all did at the vow renewal ceremony and reception! Especially you!" Bill says with sass.

"Yeah, no kidding." Al says in response.

"All I gotta say is thanks goodness your strep throat decided to put you down after that and not before." Mariah says with a smile.

"That's the truth! How's the smoke where you guys are? It's yucky here!" Tipper says to Bill.

"The sky looks orange where Chels and Marc are but the sky here looks a little more clearer but still bad quality." Bill says to Tipper.

"Just such a shame about Canada being up in flames. Hopefully they get it under control soon." Al says as Tipper nods in agreement.

"I know. School let out early at 2:10 because of the smoke, so I came by to spend time with one of my favorite babies." Mariah says as she kisses Hope.

"Aww! Hope loves you! And Jack loves you too!" Tipper says as Jack babbles.

Hope babbles back causing Bill and Mariah to chuckle.

"Da Da!" Hope says happily while pointing at her Daddy.

"That's right, Hopey! That's your Daddy! Are you a Daddy's girl? Hmmmm?" Tipper asks the almost eight month old.

"Oh, yes she is! Always wanting him!" Mariah says as Hope giggles.

"Jack loves his Daddy too but he's a Mama's boy just like his big brother." Tipper says as Jack squeals happily.

"That's the truth. But I guess this is your revenge on me since Sienna's a Daddy's girl?" Al asks her.

Tipper playfully rolls her eyes at her husband causing Al to chuckle.

"Oh, brother." Mariah says while rolling her eyes too and thinking about her own dad.

Bill rubs Mariah's back, knowing she is probably thinking about her dad that passed away a year and a half ago.

"Your Daddy is looking over you sweetheart. He is always there. I still feel my Daddy's presence and he's been gone for a long time."Tipper says as Jack babbles, interrupting her.

Bill kisses Hope's cheek and Hope smiles happily.

"Sweet girl. It's been almost eleven years since he's been gone, right?" Mariah asks as she lets Hope hold one of her fingers.

"It has. You were only six. December 26, 2012 was when he passed on. John was the last grandparent our kids had left as my mom and Al's parents passed away within six years of each other before Sienna started middle school." Tipper explains while thinking about her late parents.

"All we can do is keep living our lives as best we can while still remembering our late loved ones." Al says as he kisses Jack's cheeks, causing him to smile.

Bill nods his head in agreement.

Jack grabs tried to take his mom's mask off, but she manages to take his hand away.

"Jack! No, sweetie! I have to keep this on to keep you, daddy, sissy, and Jonathan safe." Tipper says as she playfully wags her finger in Jack's face.

"Mama is almost better! Only one more day of waiting." Al says as Jack smiles ear to ear.

"Don't you have to take antibiotics for a long time?" Mariah asks Tipper.

"For ten days! But I feel so much better already for being on them two days! I'm probably not contagious anymore since I'm on medicine now but I don't wanna take chances and wait one more day of medicine before taking my mask off. Jack was a little premature when he was born so he can sick easier." Tipper explains to Mariah.

"That makes sense. No wonder you asked all of us to have our flu shots before we all got together at Hillary's mansion in DC for Christmas." Bill says.

"Except for Hope and Little Al's boys, Al IV and John. They were only two months, so none of them could get it yet." Mariah says with a smile.

"And wasn't Hope was a preemie too?" Mariah says as Bill nods.

"The doctors think she was but they couldn't be 100% sure since we didn't know the exact time she was conceived." Bill explains to Mariah.

"That's hard to believe!" Tipper says playfully, causing Al to laugh loudly.

"Well, you two knew the exact date and time for Jack, huh?" Bill says playfully back to Al and Tipper.

"Ew! Gross!" Mariah says as she shakes her head and covers her ears causing Hope to squeal happily.

"Considering that you and Hill didn't know about her until days before, no wonder she was in the NICU for almost two weeks. But look at her now!" Al says with a smile

"Another thing too. Jack wasn't supposed to be born until around New Years Day, but he clearly had other plans." Tipper as she rubs his head full of brown hair.

"Now look at em! Two healthy and happy little babies." Bill says as Jack smiles and Hope smiles back at Jack.

"Knock knock." Sienna says as she and Jonathan playfully knock on the bedroom door.

"Look Jack Jack! It's sissy and Jonathan!" Tipper says as Jack's face lights up happily.

"Hi, baby brother! Hi! I've missed you!" Sienna says as she picks him up and kisses his cheeks.

"Aaaaaa!" Jack and Hope squeal happily

"Hi, Hope! You're getting so big! Oh, and hi to you too, Bill and Mariah." Jonathan says as he waves at the phone.

"Hey! It's good to see you and Sienna!" Mariah says with a grin.

"Hey, Jon! How are you?" Bill says to Jonathan.

"I'm doing pretty good! How are you guys doing up there? My mom and Alex said it's awful." Jonathan says to Bill.

"It's really bad in the city where Chels, Marc and the kids are. It's a little better in Chappaqua but we can't really go outside which Hope hates." Bill explains to Jonathan.

"That sucks because I know how much Hope loves that. Jack too! He's an outside lover like Dad, right?" Al asks him and he babbles in agreement and buries his face in Sienna's shirt.

"Are you being shy, little man?" Jonathan says as he tickles Jack's belly, causing him to laugh.

"All the more reason why I'm glad to have our girl home! Jack and Sienna are best friends!" Tipper says with a smile as she takes pictures of the two and Jonathan using her phone.

"It's the same with Henry and Hope!" Bill says with a chuckle and Jack starts to fuss.

"Aw. What's wrong, Jack Jack?" Jonathan asks with a sad look.

"Hold up. No wonder your a fussy boy. Jonathan just changed you before we left and you peed again!" Sienna says while her parents and Bill try not to laugh.

"Fine. I'll change your diaper this time, but you better not pee on me young man!" Sienna says playfully as Jack giggles in her arms

"Here you go!" Jonathan says as he gives her a pad, a diaper, and some wipes.

"Thank you, because I don't feel like walking to his nursery." Sienna says, shaking her head and she sits down on the floor and lays Jack down on the pad.

"Big sister duties! I remember when Chels would change Henry just about anywhere when she babysat him for us." Bill says with a chuckle.

"She was a great babysitter during our White House days! And that's why she is such an incredible mother to her four babies!" Tipper says with a grin under her mask.

"I know. I still can't believe Chelsea has another baby daughter." Jonathan says with a smile on his face. 

"Amelia is such a sweet baby! Charlotte has been on cloud 9 since she was born and wants to dress her sister up in every pretty outfit possible." Bill says in response while shaking his head.

"Ahh!" Sienna says with a little shriek as she changes her baby brother.

"You okay, princess?" Al asks his daughter curiously

"I'm fine, dad. Except your son decided to pee on me yet again!" Sienna says while shaking her head as she puts a fresh diaper on Jack. Also buttoning up his onesie and puts his shorts back on too.

*Jack's outfit*

"There you go! Nice and clean!" Sienna says as she kisses Jack's cheek, making him smile.

Tipper tries not to laugh, but even with her mask on, she can't hide it anymore and her laugh is heard!

"Mom! It's not funny!" Sienna says with a groan.

"I feel your pain, girl. This cheeky little girl gave me a gross one for me to change earlier. Yes, I'm talking about you!" Mariah says playfully at Hope as she taps her on the nose.

"Sorry, Sienna! I couldn't help it. But now you understand how your dad and I felt when you did this to us back when you were a baby! And an adorable one too!" Tipper says as she reaches into a side drawer a picks up a picture of Sienna wearing a pretty yellow dress and being held by her daddy.

"Oh, I remember that picture!" Al says while giving his wife the side eye.

"You do?" Jonathan asks Al.

"I do! At almost 4 months old, your girlfriend peed through her pink onesie and shorts during a cabinet meeting. I had to change her whole outfit and got sprayed in the face with pee in the process." Al explains as he hides his face in his hands in embarrassment.

"Damn!" Mariah says as she bursts out in laughter.

"The Cabinet members were trying so hard not to laugh, especially Secretary of Education Richard Riley. But they all gave in. Hey, at least you were able to put that adorable dress on her!" Bill says while thinking about that day.

"But it was so embarrassing!" Al says with a groan.

"Some of them were parents at one point or another. So unfortunately, it does happen!" Tipper says while shaking her head.

"Oh, that's for sure!" Bill says as he bounces Hope on his leg, since she is getting antsy.

"You want mommy, little one?" Sienna asks her baby brother.

Jack does grabby hands and Tipper takes him and sits him in his lap.

"Not for long, baby. I don't want you getting my strep but I think you will be okay." Tipper says as Jack holds onto Tipper.

"I think the babies are getting tired of talking. They are getting antsy." Bill says as Hope plays with his shirt.

"Mmmmm!" Hope says before opening her mouth.

"I think someone's ready for some food! Right?" Mariah says as Hope babbles happily.

"Give that baby some food!" Tipper says causing Bill to laugh.

"I will! As soon as this call ends we will be eating again." Bill says as Hope giggles

"Ba Ba!" Jack babbles at his sister.

"I think this little guy is ready to eat too!" Jonathan says as he rubs Jack's head of brown hair.

"The food is downstairs, so let's go eat!" Sienna says as she heads downstairs.

"Jack Jack! We gotta get you fed, young man. Can you say bye?" Al says as he has his phone facing Jack.

"Baaaa!" Jack says as Tipper waves his little hand.

"Bye bye! Do you wanna say bye bye, Hopey?" Bill says to Hope.

"BAAAA!" Hope yells, causing everyone to laugh.

"Bye everyone!" Mariah says as she waves goodbye.

"Let's get together in Tennessee this summer once your lovely lady is better!" Bill says as he points at his birthday buddy.

"Definitely!" Al says as he nods his head.

"Talk to you soon, and stay safe! Tell Maria we said hello!" Jonathan says as he waves goodbye.

"We will! Bye!" Bill says as he ends the FaceTime call.

"It's always so good to talk to them, right?" Mariah asks Bill.

"Always! How about we get this cooking party started?" Bill asks the girls.

"Aaaaaa!" Hope squeals happily.

"Hope is excited! Yeah!" Mariah says as she smiles at Hope.

"You're gonna sit in your high chair and watch us cook! Right, princess?" Bill says as he kisses her on the cheek and the trio walk over to the kitchen

After having dinner and Hope having some more playtime, it's almost 8 pm

- 7:55 pm

"Mr. Bill?" Mariah asks Bill.

"Yes?" Bill answers back with a smile as he starts to clean the kitchen.

"I can give Hopey a bath tonight if you want! You probably need a little break after having to entertain this little girl all day!" Mariah says as she gets Hope out of her high chair.

"Oh, thank you! Sometimes I gotta remember that I'm not a young buck like I was Chelsea and Henry were babies like Hope is!" Bill says while smiling nervously.

"It's okay. You're trying to cherish all the time you have with her. But you gotta be taking care of yourself too. Especially since your wife's out of town." Mariah says to Bill.

"Be a good girl for Mariah, okay?" Bill says to Hope with a big smile,

"Aaa!" Hope squeals happily.

"Can I have a kissy?" Bill says as he pucks his lip, waiting for a kiss.

Hope happily kisses Bill.

"Definitely a daddy's girl like me! Come on, little munchkin!" Mariah says as she and Hope head upstairs.

Bill finishes cleaning up the kitchen and cleans up the living room before sitting down to rest.

Mariah gives Hope her bath, Hope enjoyed playing with her toys and splashing Mariah.

Bill texts Hillary a picture of Mariah and Hope with the caption "Hope had such a fun day with Mariah and Daddy!"

Hillary replies: "Now this is one text from you I'm happy to respond to! Sending the girls my love, but now I'm going back to bed. Love you!" 😴❤️

Bill: "Love you! ❤️😘"

A few minutes later, Bill then gets an email from the Chappaqua Central School district. It says that schools are closed tomorrow due to the bad air quality, but there will be online classes.

"Oh, Mariah will be happy to see this if she hasn't already. I'm gonna go check on them." Bill says as he gets up and heads upstairs.

He peeks into one of the bedrooms Mariah is in, but what he sees is a lovely sight. Mariah changed into her gym shorts and a tank top. And both her and Hope are asleep on the bed. The book she read to her  on her lap.

"She got my little girl in her pajamas and everything. I don't wanna wake them up, so I'll put Hope in her crib later." Bill whispers as he walks in and quietly takes a picture of the girls. Doing it without flash so it doesn't wake them up.

He puts the book on the nightstand, putting Mariah's iPhone on the charger as well and kissing both girls on their heads before turning off the lamp and gently closing the door.

After that, he sees Maria Lopez, Mariah and Mia's mother calling them. So he answers it after going back downstairs.

"Hello?" Bill says with a grin,

"Hello, Bill! How is everything?" Maria asks Bill.

"Everything is great! Mariah and Hope are sleeping as we speak. They just have fell asleep during the night time story." Bill says as Maria awes.

"I'm glad everyone is doing well! The birth center was busy today! I don't know if it's the smoke or what!" Maria says as Bill chuckles.

"That's a question that I have no clear answer to. I'm going to send you something." Bill says with a chuckle as he goes into his text messages and picks Maria's conversation.

Not long after, Maria sees the picture sent to her. It's one of her youngest daughter and baby Hope sleeping.

"That sweet girl has brought my family a lot of joy since Miguel's been gone. I just can't thank you and Hillary enough for showering my girls with love during this past year and a half." Maria says as she wipes a tear from her eye.

"That's what family is for, Maria. We kept a promise to look after his family, you all, just before he passed. We've kept our word, haven't we?" Bill says with a smile.

"You have. I assume Mariah will stay at your home tonight?" Maria asks curiously.

"If that's okay with you of course! She said you had a double shift today due to the smoke!" Bill says to Maria.

"I do! I won't be heading home until likely after midnight. One of the mamas I have might be having her baby tonight. She's in labor as we speak." Maria says with a smile.

"Oh, that's exciting! And I'll definitely take care of your baby girl." Bill says as Maria smiles.

"I definitely know you will!" Maria says to Bill.

"She's been a big help with Hope today. Even volunteered to do bath time and story time tonight so I could get a much needed break." Bill explains.

"Hope has been helping her through out this year without her father. Hope, Liam, Amelia and the rest of the kids give her so much joy." Maria says to Bill.

"That's what babies will do to you! Make you smile even on not so great days. I know Henry did when my mom Virginia passed away when he was only five months old." Bill says while looking over at a picture of the two.

"I say the same thing about Mariah too since she was born on my late brother's birthday. I can't believe she'll be starting her senior year in the fall! Why do our kids have to grow up?" Maria explains.

"I don't know! But we have some great kids." Bill says to Maria.

"Mariah has always been motherly since she was little. And when that time does come, hopefully not too soon, she'll be a wonderful mother just like her sister is." Maria says with a smile.

"Oh, she definitely will be! She has had lots of practice between Jordan, Charlotte, Aidan, Jasper, Liam, Amelia and Hope!" Bill says as he pets Tally and Maisie.

"Along with a bunch of other little ones too, family related or not." Maria says with a smile

All of a sudden, Maria hears a patient making noises and sees one of her fellow midwives, Nina, rushing towards her.

"Please tell me it's baby time!" Maria asks her fellow midwife with a smile

"It is! She literally went from 5 cm to 10 in an hour and her baby boy is ready to come. Oh, hi, Mr. President!" Nina says while waving at Maria's camera.

"Hey, there! Well, it seems that you're about to be busy, so I think I'll let you ladies go!" Bill says with a smile

"I did get the email that schools in the district are closed tomorrow, but there will be online classes?" Maria asks Bill.

"I don't think they made a decision yet! But I'll definitely let you know! Just call or send me a text when you get home tonight. Got it?" Bill says playfully, albeit in a stern tone.

"I will! Talk to you soon. Bye, Bill!" Maria says as she waved goodbye

"Good to see you Mr. President!" Nina says in response.

"You too! Bye ladies!" Bill says as he waves goodbye to Nina and Maria before ending the FaceTime call.

Bill looks down and sees Tally and Maisie sitting by his feet.

"Let's go out one more time and then it's time for bed. Dad is exhausted girls." Bill says to the dogs.

Bill took the dogs out for one last bathroom break before bed before making sure everything was locked up.

Bill stays up for another hour and a half before checking on the girls and seeing Hope was awake.

"Hey baby! Let's go back to sleep. Mariah needs her sleep, she has school tomorrow." Bill whispers as he picks up Hope and carefully walks out of the guest bedroom.

"Mr. Bill?" Mariah asks softly as she wakes up slightly

"Yes?" Bill answers back in response

"Can I have a glass of ice water with a spoon. You know how much I love eating ice." Mariah says with a smile.

"Of course. I'll get it for you once I put this angel to bed. Hopey! You wanna give her a kiss goodnight?" Bill asks his daughter.

Bill holds Hope near Mariah and Hope gives Mariah a sloppy kiss before yawning.

"Night Hopey! Sleep well, baby!" Mariah says as she smiles at Hope.

Bill goes downstairs to quickly make a bottle and grabs a glass full of ice water and a spoon for Mariah.

"Mmm! Some milk for you and then bedtime." Bill says as Hope babbles softly.

Bill holds Hope with one hand (her bottle in her hands) and the glass of ice water in another and he carefully walks upstairs.

"One glass of ice water for the youngest Lopez princess." Bill says as walks in and puts it on the nightstand.

"Thank you. Goodnight you two." Mariah says with a smile.

"Goodnight, honey. Sleep well. If you need anything, let me know." Bill says to Mariah and Mariah smiles.

Bill and Hope then go into Hope's nursery to get her ready for her bedtime.

Bill sits down in the rocking chair and he begins to feed Hope her bottle.

"Look at you, princess. Holding your bottle." Bill says with a smile as He kisses her on the top of her head.

After finishing her bottle, Bill burps Hope and changes her diaper for the night.

Once her diaper is changed Bill picks up Hope and covers her up with her favorite yellow blanket and begins to rub her back while rocking her in the chair.

"Daddy loves you so much. We had a fun day today, huh?" Bill asks Hope and she touches her dad's face.

"Da Da." Hope says softly.

"Hopefully when this smoke clears up, we can go on our walks again. And maybe get some ice cream! How does that sound?" Bill asks her and Hope smiles from ear to ear.

Bill kisses Hope's cheek as he begins to softly sing a song to help Hope sleep.

Hope slowly closes her eyes and finally falls asleep towards the end of the song. Getting up from the rocking chair, he places Hope in her crib.

"Goodnight, baby girl. Sleep tight." Bill whispers to Hope as he places once last kiss on her forehead.

Bill turns off the lamp in her room before gently closing the door behind him. With that, he finally heads to bed himself. Bringing this long day of inside fun to a close.
