Vampire L

This is technically part 2 of V Lovers. It does make more sense if you read that chapter first.

"Hyung, what happened to (Y/n)?" A tall boy asked, his black fringe sticking to his forehead with sweat, for he had just gotten done with working out.

"We lost her," Namjoon growled, "her betrothed broke her from the damned spell."

"Ah... so we're going to get her back, right?"

"Of course. We have to get her away from her to-be. Don't want anymore vampires being born."

*five months later*

"You have to be joking. We've searched this whole forest and no sign of their so called kingdom!" A frustrated hunter slammed his fist down on a dead trunk.

"We should start going. Vampires feed at this time," the young boy tried to pry his mentor away.

"Good idea! We'll wait for them to come hunt, then we'll either kill them or follow them! I knew you were a smart kid Jungkook," the man smiled.

"But they hunt in groups- expecially when a royal is hunting," Jungkook sighed.

"If it's a royal, the more the better. Might be (Y/n)."

"Are you sure you don't want me to just bring something back?" Yoongi worried as I started putting on my cloak. Giving him a assuring smile, I nodded. "Don't worry. I'll tone it back and if something goes wrong, I promise to leave right away."

"I just don't want anything bad to happen. You're only three months in," Yoongi came behind me, wrapping his arms right above my stomach. He swayed with me a small bit, pressing a quick kiss to my cheek, then let go.

"Nothing will happen to me. I trust you protect me, okay?" I teased, grabbing a bow and dagger, since I was planning on just staying behind. But a dagger was needed for just in case.

"I'll round up some of the guards and we'll go, alright?" Yoongi grabbed my hand, thumb caressing the ring on my finger for a moment.

   * * *

"Wait. Quiet. There's a group coming."

"It's a bigger group, so it must mean one of the royals are hunting."

"Get your crossbow ready. If you see a royal, shoot."

   "Yes sir."

  * * *

We disguised as humans, so we could go to a mortal town and secretly feed. It was easier than just waiting for a dumbass human to travel into the forest.

"Hold up. I smell human," a guard caught me from my thoughts, making me yelp as he and the guard next to him blocked my path. It was annoying being surrounded by all the guards and bats, but it was a standard procedure. It was the same few  years ago when I was little- about 116- travelling with my mother. Back then, Yoongi was 118 and was in training. That's when we first met. My mother noticed how well we got along, and it made her happy. No, Yoongi wasn't a prince, but he was becoming a royal guard.

"Sir, move," one of the guards ordered Yoongi. Yoongi gave him a confused look that turned to horror when the guard shielded the new king, deflecting an arrow covered in holy water.

"Back up," the same guard ordered again, a row of guards coming up with their shields. Yoongi was pushed back next to me.

"Whatever you do, protect (Y/n)," Yoongi murmured to a guard. A bat squealed, catching our attention.

"Two hunters up ahead," Yoongi told the guards, his arm going around me protectively, green sword ready to slash anyone who came near.

In fear, my purple eyes glew, giving me more of an option to see in the dark forest. In the distance, I saw two familiar figures, making my heart pound.

"Hush... it's okay, whatever it is," Yoongi murmured, trying not to fall to my fear, but his eyes were already faintly glowing a pale blue.

"It's Namjoon and Jungkook. Jungkook is just training, but he's a great shot and fast. Of course, though, he can't outrun a vampire, but you still need to worry about him. Strong with lots of stamina," I closed my eyes, taking a deep breath. Many scents filled my nose, but the most noticiable was Yoongi's cologne.

"Of course he's back. I was half hoping he had given up by now," Yoongi murmured.

"He'll never give up. I was the bait. Once we lured all the male vampires, he was going to try to find a prince and lure all the females after, then kill us all off," I gave a cold laugh.

"Well, now he has a new vampire to worry about," Yoongi murmured slightly.

Another arrow fizzled next to my head, making me jump away from Yoongi. It had nicked my ear.

The smell of blood filled my nose along with the swell of fury- from Yoongi.

"Are you alright?" Yoongi helped me up, sudden bladed wings casing us in a shield.

"Just a small bit of blood," I looked up at him, our eyes the only thing able to be seen in the darkness, along with some lamps that some guards carried.

   Time froze. We were ambushed.

Sounds of dying came all around, making my knees buckle and turn to jelly.

"Sir! Run away!" A guard screamed. Yoongi's anger pierced my soul, his wings turning blacker and sharper; a weapon themselves.

"When I release you, run as fast as you can," Yoongi ordered. Even though I was told to do something, my conscience told me no and to stand with him.

"No. I know the hunters. Please let me help," I beggeed.

"(Y/n), please," Yoongi grabbed my waist, pulling me close, "I beg of you. I would die if you were captured."

"I'll stay behind!" I promised with a small smile. "Rule one. Don't attack a mom protecting her young."

"And don't attack a pack without addressing the alpha," Yoongi whispered, a hand coming out to caress my face.

"Come out, you big chickens," a deep voice growled, right as Yoongi flinched. Someone just stabbed his wing.

Jaw clenching, I gave a kiss onto his wrist and grabbed my dagger, one hand on his wrist and the other holding the bright red-glowing knife.

"Just come out. All we want is our princess back," Namjoon's voice sang.

Yoongi flinched again, blue eyes becoming sharper and fangs biting into his bottom lip.

"Come. Out!" Another jab. This time the knife broke through his wing. The point just stopped right before my slightly swelled stomach.

That snapped Yoongi. His gaze flashed towards where the dagger was poking at the swell. If it had gone any deeper-

"Bastards," he growled, wings leaving and slashing around. Blood flew everywhere, yet- like a cliche movie- Namjoon and Jungkook lived. They were covered in their comrades blood.

"You came out!" Jungkook clapped slowly.

"You almost hurt her," Yoongi snarled, walking over towards Namjoon- glowing sword pointed at his throat.

"You wouldn't hurt me. We have back-ups," Namjoon sneered back. My arms  were then locked behind my back. I could feel two metal objects. One digging into my throat and the other threatening to cut open my stomach.

"Yoongi!" I gasped, fear pulsing through my veins.

The vampire king turned, sword accidentally leaving a small slash through Namjoon's neck. Jungkook came up behind Yoongi, knocking him down and on his knees.

"Don't hurt her," he thrashed, trying escape the trainee's grasp. "Or I'll fucking kill you. I will take you to her father, you assholes. If there is even a single bruise, I will rip your throats out."

"Well.. what do we have here?" Namjoon rolled his eyes. "Didn't I tell you, Jungkook, that we need to find her before this happened?" Namjoon then went up to me, jabbing my stomach gently with the tip of his sword.

"Don't!" Yoongi struggled more, almost bucking Jungkook off. "Don't touch her!"

"Is it a she?" Namjoon looked directly at me. "Or a he?"

"Why does it matter," I twitched, dull purple eyes slowly becoming lighter until they were a glowing white.

"Just wondering. If it's a girl... well... you'll have a little princess. If it's a boy, your dearest will have a little prince," Namjoon trailed his sword towards my chin, lifting it to look into his eyes. With a whimper, I met them.

Yoongi yowled, beating Jungkook off and ran towards me.

Namjoon froze because of vampire speed- Yoongi was behind him. He had a gun pointed at Jungkook while his sword was at the edge of cutting open Namjoon's throat.

"Let her the fuck go," the sword dug slightly deeper, skin ready to burst.

      "Or else?" Namjoon's smirked.

Do it. Yoongi told me silently in my head. Use it.

What if- I gaped, surprised he would asked me to use my power.

It's either use it and keep you and our kid alive, or let them brutally kill us.

I looked into Yoongi's eyes- the best way to trigger my power. His eyes became the same color as my white ones and his hair was slowly becoming a white silver. A flash of a small burst of light came.

Millions of bats flew from the trees and surrounded our attackers. You could hear faint thumps, trees bending at its will.

The first were equally pale vampire soldiers. Men then woman. Some carried axes, some had flames and other strange wisps coming from their hands, and others had other powerful weapons. The final thing to show up was my father. His axe had green poison charging it as his hair was a flowing silver. Bright red eyes and sharpened fangs. The man of nightmares.

Wind howled as its whistle blew. It was high pitched. So high that only humans could hear it.

All the hunters fell, dropping Yoongi and I.

Yoongi crawled towards me, wrapping his arms around me. My father hissed, startling the new king.

"Get away from her," he growled.

"She's my wife," Yoongi protested. "She has my kid!"

"Get the fuck away from her!"

I fell limp into Yoongi's arms, the power to call my dad and summon everything sapping the energy.

     I thought I was over.

Then Yoongi lips were on mine, moving slowly and sensually. His right hand had found my cheek as he held it.

My father snarled, whacking Yoongi off. Many soldiers were frozen in place, unsure who to follow. Help Yoongi, their new king, or my father.

"Don't hurt him," I gasped, falling onto my side without Yoongi being able to hold me up.

My father never looked at me, keeping a sword pointed at Yoongi's throat. The new kings chest barely rose.

"Yoongi," a croak came from my mouth as I reached for him. He was quite far, and I knew I couldn't reach him.

     Yoongi.

Someone stepped on my hand, a crack and snap popping through the silence of the forest. Next was a wail. So loud crows and bats flew away.

Yoongi's chest actually stopped for a moment before he was heaving himself up. He could barely stand, not looking at my father as he stumbled over to me.

"Is the little vampire trying to save his wife and kid?" Namjoon mocked, foot leaving my hand to my head.

"Don't touch her," Yoongi hissed weakly, couching a small amount of blood.

      "Hyung-"

"Kill her. I'll deal with these monsters," Namjoon hissed to Jungkook. The boy turned me to my back, lifting his sword.

A large growl sounded. Out was a demon with red scales and twisted horns standing in my father's old place. Many vampire soldiers had already sprinted towards Jungkook, whose sword slowly came down.

Right before it hit my stomach, the sword stopped. Yoongi stood next to me, holding the sword blade in his hand. Blue eyes were literal blue pits of fire as he clenched his teeth, fighting off the boy.

Jungkook pushed down his sword, going deeper in Yoongi's hands . Yoongi pressed back, lifting the sword enough he can stand and push the Jungkook away.

Namjoon was in the midst of fighting both my father and soldiers. When I thought we were going to win, Seokjin and Hoseok came out with more hunters following them.

Yoongi had pushed Jungkook back far enough to get time to grab me and bring out his sword.

"She's going to be hurt," Jungkook narrowed his gaze.

"Not when I'm protecting her," Yoongi hissed. "And if she's going down. I'm going to be with her."

I could smell Yoongi's blood. A bitter feeling settled in my heart as I felt an uncomfortable stinging in my palms.

"You're hurt," I murmured, head pounding.

"I'm protecting you," he gripped my side tighter, glare not leaving Jungkook.

Namjoon was barely holding off, but Hoseok had gone and helped him, putting a shield between them and my father to let Namjoon get his breath back.

The smell of more blood came right as Yoongi stiffened. He had an arrow sticking out of his left shoulder- inches away from my face. In shock and pain, his arm let go. Taking the opportunity, Jugkook  barreled into him.

Seokjin had come over and checked me over.

"My," he had a gentle smile as his hands caressed my stomach. "I bet it'll be beautiful. You and you're husband are gorgeous."

"Seok Seok," I grabbed his hand, tears already rolling down my cheeks. "Help Yoongi. Please. Help him."

     "I can't. He's my enemy," Seokjin sighed.

"Please," I whimpered. "He has a kid. Please. Without Yoongi, we'll have to follow my dad again."

"I understand, but it's treason against my kind-"

"You can stay at the castle! Just- save him!" I sobbed, looking into Seokjin's dark eyes desperately.
