Two months was how long Dani had been on tour with Rewind.

Two months of being on a tour bus, traveling, sold-out arenas, and of course, the amazing fans.

Dani loved the feeling of the rush.

But the things that Dani missed while being on tour the last two months were the Palm Woods, Kelly and Gustavo, and, of course, her boys.

Dani made her way into the Palm Woods lobby, letting out a breath of happiness before finally being back home at the Palm Woods.

"It's Dani Jennings!"

The next thing Dani knew, she was surrounded by a small group of unfamiliar faces of the Palm Woods future famous, asking her for pictures and autographs.

After five minutes, the final person left, causing the girl to let out a sigh of relief before grabbing her bags and making her way to the elevator, dying to get up to her apartment to drop off her things so she could go see her friends.

After quickly throwing her bags into her apartment, she quickly made her way across the hall to apartment 2J, noticing the door on the ground.

"Hey, your door's missing." Dani said, smiling excitedly as she walked into the apartment, carefully stepping around the door.

"Dani!" Katie exclaimed, racing over to the girl. wrapping her arms around her neck. "I thought you weren't coming back for another month."

"Yeah, well, plans changed, and I was also missing you guys like crazy." Dani explained, sending the younger girl a big smile, causing Katie to smile back before Dani turned to see Ms. Knight. "Mama Knight!"

"Hi, sweetie." Mama Knight said, holding her arms open, causing the girl to rush over to her. "It was way too quiet around here without you and the guys."

"Speaking of guys..." Dani trailed off as she let the woman go, turning around and pointing at Katie.

"Carlos and James are at the pool trying to re-establish their Palm Woods cred with all the newbies; Kendall is in the lobby researching Jo's new hot co-star; and Logan is at Rocque Records talking to Gustavo about the schoolwork they missed while on tour."

"Freaked out and yelly?" Dani asked, causing the duo to nod. "This is why I did my work prior to going on tour."

"Smart." Katie said, fist-bumping the older girl. "Well, I'm off to talk to Kendall; want to come?"

"Heck yeah." Dani agreed, sending Mama Knight a quick wave before she followed the youngest Knight out of the apartment and to the lobby.

Katie leant against the wall in front of the boy while Dani grabbed a chair, rolling it up beside the boy as she glanced over the boy's shoulder at the computer screen.

"Shouldn't you be upstairs working on your science project?" Katie questioned, causing the boy to look at her.

"I'm doing my research," Kendall replied.

"Your science project is on a guy named Jett Stetson?" Dani asked, causing the boy to quickly turn to look at the girl. "That's some project you're working on, Knight."

"Dani. You're back." Kendall breathed out, causing the duo to lock eyes, causing them to share a smile.

"So tell me about this Stetson guy." Dani said, looking away from the boy, causing him to snap out of his daze, giving the girl one last glance before he looked back at the computer screen.

"He's dated every one of his co-stars!" Kendall freaked out, aggressively pointing at the guy on the screen.

"That's not the worst of it." Katie spoke up, handing Kendall a script, causing Dani to peer over the boy's shoulder, noticing the title of the script read, Newtown High. "Page 13, Jo plays Rachel, and Jett is Drake."

"They kiss?" Kendall questioned.

"You should keep reading," Katie explained, causing the boy to aggressively turn through the script.

"For five pages?" Kendall exclaimed before a new voice was heard, gaining the trio's attention.

"Yeah, the photo shoot went great, and we're shooting the kissing scene tonight." Jett spoke into his phone, stopping in front of the group as he hung up. "I should probably warm up my lips. I want this scene to be hot." Jett puckered his lips, causing Dani to cringe as Jett walked away before quickly popping around the corner as he pointed to the blonde girl. "Your Dani Jennings." Dani quickly nodded as she slightly waved her fingers at the boy before he looked back at Kendall. "By the way, I'm way better looking than you."

Jett then walked away, causing Kendall to drop his head onto the computer desk.

"Hey, don't listen to him; you're way more attractive than him." Dani said, trying to brighten the teen boy's mood, causing him to lift his head as he looked over at the girl. "Why don't you go find Jo and talk to her? Tell her how you really feel."

"You're right! I'll tell her how much of a player he is and how I don't want her kissing him!"

"That's definitely not what I meant." Dani said, shaking her head.

"Thanks, Dani!" Kendall smiled, pointing at the girl before rushing off. "Bye Katie."

"Well, that's a disaster waiting to happen." Dani sighed, standing from her seat, turning to Katie. "I'm off to find the others. I'll see you later?"

"Definitely." Katie agreed, fist-bumping the girl before walking away.

Dani made her way out to the pool, looking around for the two familiar faces, but all she saw were unfamiliar people. What caught her eye were two boys lying on the ground, causing the girl to walk over.

"Hey, guys." Dani chuckled, standing over the two, gaining their attention. "Were the chairs not comfortable enough for your liking?"

"Dani!" Carlos exclaimed, jumping up to hug the girl while James slowly rose from the ground.

"No, it's the fact that we've been here for almost a year, longer than anyone here, and they don't know who we are! And all the new kids took all of our chairs and towels!"

"It happens every year." The brunette Jennifer said, causing the three to turn around to find the Jennifers standing there. "The newbies arrive full of dreams to take over the town."

"And try to steal your pool cred." Curly Jennifer added.

"We're listening."

"You've got to nip it in the bud." Blonde Jennifer said, pointing behind the three, causing them to turn around as the Jennifers approached a group of three girls sitting at a table.

Let's just say Jennifer's method was... harsh.

"See?" The three girls said, taking the table the previous girls just ran from.

"Yeah, but that was kind of mean." Carlos stated, causing Dani and James to nod in agreement.

"Hey, if you want to rule this pool..."

"You gotta do it with an iron fist." Blonde Jennifer said, causing the three Jennifers to point at two guys sitting in pool chairs, one in black who looked like a biker and the other in what seemed like a unitard.

"Do you really think Carlos and James are..." Dani started but stopped when the Jennifers all gave her a look. "They went, didn't they?"

Dani slowly turned around to see James now wearing a bandana and Carlos wearing his helmet, hitting their hands together as if they were going to hit them.

"They aren't going to do it." Dani said, watching them quickly take off the bandanna and helmet as she turned back to the girls with a smile. "They don't like seeing people cry."

Dani decided to lounge around the pool a while, hoping to run into some she knew before feeling herself being dragged and placed beside Camille and Guitar Dude by Carlos and James.

"Dani!" Camille exclaimed, throwing her arm around the girl. "I thought you still had another month of touring?"

"I decided to come home." Dani said, shrugging her shoulders before turning to look at Carlos and James. "What's going on?"

"You play halfway there," James explained, pointing to Guitar Dude. "Then we all sing."

"Then everyone joins in for one of our famous fire pit jam sessions."

"They love you, and you rule the pool again." Camille adds.

"Shpingo!" They both exclaimed, rushing around the fire and squeezing into the middle, pushing Dani closer to Camille. "Now play!"

"One, Two..."

Before Guitar Dude had the chance to strum a single chord, the sound of rock music blasted through the pool area.

"Lil' Lee Roth is rocking the pool!" Three teens dressed as investigators shouted, standing in front of the group, pointing at the man in a unitard on top of the speakers before rushing around the pool.

Dani watched in amazement as the guy jumped off the speakers and into the pool, but quickly was covered by the umbrella Camille was holding in her hands, while Carlos and James were drenched in water.

"That was wild!" Dani exclaimed, turning to the guys as she tried to hold in her laughter. "You guys have a little something... everywhere."

"He does that every day." Guitar Dude stated.

"That's it!" James exclaimed. "We got to throw a party."

"And can we get unitards?" Carlos asked.

"Don't do that." Camille said, shaking her head.

"Please, never do that. Ever."

Dani was walking into the Palm Woods in the middle of James and Carlos, wearing a party hat as she carried a brown sack, but the trio stopped when they approached a sad Kendall.

"I'm guessing things didn't go too well with Jo." Dani questioned with a small smile, causing the boy to shake his head.

"Ooh, tough break, buddy." James said, sounding concerned for a second before sounding happy. "We'll find you a new girlfriend."

"At our Welcome Back Big Time..." Carlos added.

"Party!"

"I never agreed to this." Dani groaned, following after the boys as the duo dragged Kendall along.

"By now, the noobs know about Bitters' no-party rule." James explained, walking down the hall.

"But that never stopped Big Time Rush." Carlos added. "And that's why everyone's going to come to our-."

"Great! You got here fast." The girl dressed as an investigator said, coming out of an apartment with one of the guys. "Hey, everybody, delivery guys are here."

The next thing the group knew, the bags disappeared from the trio's hands and were carried into the random apartment.

"Hey! That's -" Dani started, but stopped when the guy pulled off his glasses, looking at Dani.

"Wait, you're Dani Jennings." The guy stated before turning to the girl beside him. "It's Dani Jennings from the Rewind Tour."

"Hey, everybody, Dani Jennings came to our party!"

Before Dani could say anything else, she watched as two guys came out and lifted her off the ground by her arms.

"Wait!" Dani yelled, looking back at the guys with wide eyes. "Guys! Help!"

"It looks like Rocktober came early this year." The guy smiled, dancing back into the apartment with the girl as the guy in a unitard came in.

Dani watched as the door was closed on the guy's face.

Ten minutes later, Dani threw the door of apartment 2J open, causing the door to hit the locker and making everyone quickly turn around.

"Why did you guys leave me back there?" Dani asked, crossing her arms, her eyes focused on Kendall, James, and Carlos.

"What were we supposed to do?!" James exclaimed, throwing his arms up. "They knew you, but not us!"

"I don't know, James," Dani said sarcastically, shrugging her shoulders. "Maybe not let them lift me off the ground and take me into the apartment."

"Now's not the time for you two to be arguing." Kendall interjected, sticking his arm out, causing them to cross their arms as they turned around from each other, causing Dani to notice Logan.

"Logan!" Dani exclaimed, wrapping her arms around the boy, bringing him into a tight hug.

"Hey, what are you doing here?" Logan asked, looking at the girl in disbelief, causing her to lift her eyebrow up. "Not that it isn't great that you're here. I mean, it is great that you know that you are back and everything, but I thought you were supposed to be on tour, and... I'm going to stop talking now."

"I was supposed to." Dani chuckled with a nod, turning to face the group. "Don't get me wrong, I loved performing and the fans, but there was just something missing."

"The girls?" James asked.

"The food?" Carlos added.

"No, you dorks. This. Us all being together every day! I even missed Gustavo yelling! I felt so alone, even though I was surrounded by people I've known all my life."

"Well, we're glad that you're back, Jennings," Gustavo said, snapping his fingers and pointing at the girl as Kelly nodded in agreement, causing her to smile. "Now let's get some C+'s and let's rock Rocktoberfest!"

The following morning, the group was all huddled together in Ms. Collin's classroom as they all nervously awaited the grades.

"Kendall Knight." Ms. Collins spoke. "C-plus."

"James Diamond... C-plus!"

"Carlos Garcia." Ms. Collins paused, pressing the button on his project, causing the group to quickly move out of the way as a laser shot out, making a hole in the books in the back of the classroom. "B."

"I'm smarter than you!" Carlos teased, pointing at the two boys behind, causing Dani to chuckle.

"Logan Mitchell. C..." Ms. Collins trailed off, causing the group to groan in disappointment. "Plus!"

Dani watched as Logan tipped over, falling to the ground in excitement as Dani attempted to steady him but failed, just letting him hit the ground.

"Rocktoberfest, here we come!" Gustavo exclaimed, causing the group to cheer in excitement.

"Are you guys playing Rocktoberfest?" the noobies questioned, popping their heads into the door of the classroom.

"Yeah, we're one of the bands." James responded, shrugging his shoulders.

"And singers." Kelly added, holding out a performer stage pass to the blonde girl with a giant smile on her face, causing Dani's mouth to drop in shock as she took the performer stage pass.

"Wait, seriously. I'm playing Rocktoberfest! How?"

"I may have pulled a few strings." Gustavo said, causing Kelly to elbow him in the side as she continued smiling at the girl. "Ok, some of the Rocktoberfest promoters saw that you were back in town and requested that you perform."

Before Dani had the chance to say anything, everyone came rushing in, asking for tickets to Rocktoberfest.

"You can all watch from the V.I.P. area." Kelly explained, holding up passes. "Thanks to Big Time Rush and Dani."

That caused everyone to cheer in excitement as they lifted Logan, Carlos, and James off the ground, carrying them through the lobby as Dani and Kendall walked behind the group of teens.

"Hey, what's wrong?" Dani asked, grabbing the boy's arm, causing the two to stop in the lobby as the group continued walking.

"I think I messed up Big Time, and I don't know what to do." Kendall explained, shrugging his shoulders. "I got all freaked out with the kissing scene Jo had to do with Jett, and we broke up."

"If I know anything about relationships, I know that if it's meant to be, you'll find your way back to each other." Dani said. "Call her and invite her to Rocktoberfest. If she comes, you know that she's still crazy for you."

"And if she doesn't?"

"She'd be stupid not to, because you, Kendall Knight, are one of a kind." Dani said, sending him a small smile before putting her head down as she followed the group.

Kendall glanced over his shoulder as he watched the girl disappear out the door.

"Jennings, you're up!" Gustavo exclaimed, causing the boys to cheer as Dani made her way on stage.

"How are you guys doing Rocktoberfest?" Dani yelled, causing the crowd to yell in response, making the girl smile before the sound of the music took over.

As the music faded, the crowd cheered, making the girl wave as she made her way back to the side stage with a giant smile on her face.

"That never gets old." Dani chuckled, looking around at the boys as they all stared out into the crowd.

"This really is a Roctober miracle," Logan said.

"The entire Palm Woods is here." James stated, pointing out the group waving to them. "Old and new."

"Everyone except..." Dani trailed off, looking up at the blonde boy from beside her as he looked out, scanning the crowd, causing the girl to place a hand on his shoulder, causing him to look over at her.

"Sorry, buddy." Carlos said, causing Dani to send the boy a sad smile.

"Okay, we're going to perform four songs." Gustavo announced, approaching the group with Kelly, causing them all to quickly turn around as Gustavo held a list in his hand. "And we're gonna start with The City Is Ours."

"I want to do the new one." Kendall announced, gaining everyone's attention.

"Really?" Kelly asked, unsure. "I don't think we've rehearsed that one enough."

"Just trust him." Dani said, sharing a smile with Kendall before turning to look at Kelly and Gustavo.

"He's got this." Carlos, Logan, and James added, causing Gustavo to shrug before the four boys went on stage.
