Dani would be lying if she didn't say she missed Jo.

She felt even worse knowing she never got the chance to say goodbye to her friend because she was back home.

Dani also couldn't help but think about what Jo would say if she told her she had feelings for her ex-boyfriend, even though she felt some kind of way for the boy before the girl even moved to the Palm Woods.

She missed the days where she, Jo, and Camille would just lounge around the Palm Woods and talk for hours about how their days had been.

She loved Camille to death; she has been there for Dani since she first got to the Palm Woods, and she would never trade that friendship for anything in the world, but she couldn't help but miss her blonde friend.

Dani decided to head over to the studio to record some new songs.

On her way in the elevator, she spotted an unfamiliar red-haired chick holding a guitar case who sent Dani a smile.

"Hey, you must be new. I'm Dani." Dani said, sending the new girl a smile as the doors of the elevator closed.

"Lucy." The girl introduced herself just as the doors opened on the floor above Dani's. "I'll see you around, Dani."

Dani sent the girl one more smile before the doors closed, and it made its way down to the lobby.

As the doors began to open, the Jennings girl made her way towards the door but quickly stopped in her tracks once she was in the lobby.

There in front of the elevator doors were her four best friends, standing frozen in place.

Dani clapped her hands loudly in front of the boys faces, snapping them out of it as they all yelled at once, causing the girl to lift her eyebrow.

"Thanks, Dani!" James yelled back to the girl as the four boys raced towards the desk, causing the girl to follow behind them.

"That is confidential resident manager information that I cannot divulge." Bitters spoke, holding his hand out, causing the boys to look at him confused.

"He wants money, idiots." Dani said, causing the boys to quickly dig through their pockets for spare change.

"$4.56 and a half stick of gum?" Bitters questioned, unimpressed.

"It's all we have!" James snapped.

"Fine, you're going to get the light version." Bitters said, causing the boys to perk up. "Name: Lucy Stone. Reason in L.A.: To become a rockstar. She's 18 years old, and she lives alone."

"She has her own place." The boys gasped.

"I have my own place." Dani pointed out, making the boys shrug before looking back at each other.

"She's mine!" James and Carlos declared.

"Okay!" Kendall spoke, trying to break the pair up.

"You called nothing, and you are out." Carlos snapped, pointing at the Knight boy as James quickly agreed.

"I didn't want a part in this, anyway." Kendall said, pointing between Carlos and James, causing Logan to shrug.

The sound of gasps caused the five teens to quickly turn towards the elevators as Camille, dressed as a spy, came strutting by as she pushed between the group.

"Yo, Camille, congratulations on--." Guitar Dude started but was cut off by Camille flipping the boy onto the ground.

"She definitely got that down." Dani said, causing the four boys to quickly look at the girl. "I mean, I definitely didn't teach her."

"Did you hear she just landed a part in that new movie, Spy High?" Guitar Dude groaned, dropping his head to the ground in pain.

"Okay, the new girl is all yours. I'm out." Logan said, looking back at the others before quickly following after the Robers girl.

"And you." James snapped as he and Carlos pointed at Kendall.

"No talky talky to the new girl." Carlos ordered, causing Dani to chuckle at the pair's antics.

"What are you guys going to do? Both date her." Dani sarcastically asked.

"No, that would be weird." James replied before leaning towards Carlos. "That would be weird, right?"

"It would." Dani and Carlos both said.

"So that's why we're going to let her decide." Carlos explained, causing the duo to fist-bump before the pair walked off.

"Well, I guess it's just you and me." Kendall stated, stepping in front of the short blonde girl.

"Actually, it's just you. I gotta run too. I need to get to the studio and record some songs." Dani said, holding up her songbook as she sent the boy a smile. "Unless you want to tag along too."

"No, you go. I'll just go lounge around the pool or something."

"You sure?" Dani asked, causing the boy to nod. "Well, how about we meet up when I get back?"

"It's a date." Kendall declared, smiling at the girl, causing her to lean up, placing a kiss on his cheek before sending the boy one last smile before she turned, making her way out of the lobby.

The Knight boy turned and put on his sunglasses. "Pool it is."

"Hey, so there's this new girl at the Palm Woods who said that Big Time Rush does not rock!" Kendall exclaimed, walking into the booth, causing Dani to trail off as Gustavo and Kelly turned to face the boy. "And I say we do rock, so I need the new track to prove it."

"First of all, my name is Gustavo Rocque; not Gustavo doesn't rock." Gustavo said, causing Kendall to nod in agreement.

"Well, according to every music magazine, BTR is a pop dance group." Kelly pointed out. "So in a way, she's kind of right."

"Well, they're wrong too!" Kendall and Gustavo snapped.

"And I will prove it by playing you a sampling of my new rockin' track, Pair of Eyes." Gustavo said, pressing a button that caused music to fill the studio along with Dani's headphones.

"Yeah, what was that?" Dani's voice filled the room, causing the group to turn to the girl in the studio.

"That doesn't rock!" Kendall snapped, causing the girl to hang up her headphones as she made her way into the studio.

"We totally rock, okay?" Gustavo yelled, standing up from his chair.

Dani found herself back in the studio, but this time dressed in all leather with an electric guitar around her.

"Okay, operation Turn Pair of Eyes into a rockin' song is underway." Gustavo announced.

"We record it, then I show the new rocker girl and the world! That Big Time Rush rocks." Kendall explained, looking over at the other three.

"Guys, come on, is this really necessary? I mean, who cares what one rocker chick and a few paparazzi say?"

"Dani's right. I think you're overreacting." Kelly spoke, causing Dani to nod. "Also, I don't know how to play the guitar."

"Guess what. Don't need to." Kendall said.

"Cause all you gotta do is turn it up!" Gustavo exclaimed, causing the drummer to quickly stand up, turning the volume of all four guitars all the way up.

"One!"

"Two!"

"Three!"

"Oh boy," Dani muttered, lifting her arm up.

"Rock!"

The sound of stuff breaking and sirens and alarms wailing filled the studio, but no one could hear it because of the ringing in their ears.

"Too much rock!" Kelly exclaimed.

"Fine! I'll prove that we rock the old-fashioned way." Kendall said, trying to fix his hair but quickly giving up as he pulled his guitar out of the wall and grabbed a small amp before dragging the Jennings girl out of the studio with him.

"No, Kendall, too much rock!"

"Too much rock!"

"What was that?!" Dani yelled over the ringing in her ears, looking over at Kendall. "Where are we going?"

The girl's ears had stopped ringing when the pair finally made it to Lucy's door.

"What exactly are we doing here again?" Dani questioned, looking up at the boy. "No offense, but the song sucks, Big Time."

"To show her we rock!" Kendall exclaimed before he knocked on the girl's door, causing it to swing open.

"Hey." Lucy greeted, nodding at the boy before sending the girl a smile. "Did you come here to not talk to me some more?"

"I came here to show you that we rock." Kendall said, playing a riff on his guitar as Dani bobbed her head along.

"Nice chord progression and very cute amp." Lucy spoke, causing Dani to chuckle and making Kendall give her a look.

"What? She isn't lying." Dani admitted, shrugging her shoulders.

"Cute?" Kendall snapped. "That rocked!"

"Try 'E-B-C-G.'" Lucy suggested, pushing all the boxes behind her out of the way to reveal a giant amp before pulling out her electric guitar.

She played the chords, and Dani was beyond impressed; she knew why she kept calling Kendall's music cute.

"That definitely rocked." Dani stated, nodding her head with a smile.

"Thanks." Lucy said, sending the girl a grin before looking towards the boy. "See, that rocked."

Without another word, Lucy swung the door, causing Dani to turn to Kendall to find him frozen.

She let out a sigh as she shook her head.

"Aw, he looks sad." Katie said, appearing in front of the pair, pushing the boy's shocked face into a smile. "That's better."

"I totally agree." Dani chuckled, causing the girls to high-five. "Hey, do you want to go grab a smoothie? My treat."

"Definitely." Katie nodded, causing the duo to leave the boy standing there frozen.

The next morning, Dani found herself once again at the studio, attempting to record the same song.

"Take 2." Gustavo called.

"She called it cute!" Kendall exclaimed, storming into the studio and cutting the blonde girl off once again, causing her to sigh. "What if she's right? What if they're all right? No, no, no. They can't all be right. Right?"

"BTR rocks, and I have the proof!" Gustavo said, pointing at himself. "Because last night I changed Pair of Eyes into a far more rocking song. Check it!"

"That definitely doesn't rock." Dani informed the man. "Besides, all you did was change Pair to Rockin'."

"I know!" Gustavo snapped, standing up from his chair.

"What if we tried E-B-C-G?" Kendall suggested playing a riff on his guitar, causing Gustavo to stand there frozen.

Dani rolled her eyes before quickly clapping her hands in front of the man's face, causing him to move.

"Get the boys here and get them in the studio because BTR is going to rock!" Gustavo declared.

"Yeah, good luck with that one." Dani spoke, causing the other three to look at the girl. "James and Carlos are letting the new girl pick who she wants to date between the two, while Logan is helping Camille hide from the cops."

"There's no time to wait." Kendall said, causing Gustavo and Kelly to shake their heads. "We'll have to do it ourselves."

After a few hours of helping Gustavo and Kendall, Dani found herself once again dragged back to apartment 3B.

"This is excessive." Dani stated. "I'm sure the guys have knocked on her door just as much. Can't we just give her time to unpack?"

"No!"

Kendall knocked on the door before taking a step back in front of Kelly and Gustavo as Dani stood off to the side.

"Aww. You brought your mommy and daddy here to tell me you rock." Lucy teased, causing Dani to laugh, which quickly turned into a cough as the others turned to look at her.

"No. We brought our totally rocking new song that rocks to tell you we rock." Kendall answered, causing Kelly and Gustavo to nod.

"Yeah! That song, which is called Pair of Eyes," Gustavo said.

"Cute title."

"Cute?" Kelly questioned. "What do you mean, cute?"

"See? That's what I'm talking about." Kendall snapped.

"It's just not a rockin' title." Lucy shrugged.

"Well, where's your rockin' CD with all your rockin' titles? Miss Rock Expert?" Kendall snapped.

Lucy held up a CD that read Lucy Stone Demos in bold, causing Kendall to quickly grab it as the other three read over his shoulder.

"Teenage Anarchy."

"Eat My Dog?"

"Cut it Off and..." Kendall read, causing everyone to gasp.

"That's a new one." Dani mumbled, causing Lucy to nod.

"Yeah. That last one shocks a lot of people." Lucy admitted. "Now, if you'll excuse me, I have a date with your friends by the pool."

"Good luck with that one." Dani bid, letting out a chuckle as the girl stepped out of her apartment.

"Thanks," Lucy said, sending the girl a genuine smile before she disappeared down the hallway.

Dani turned her attention to the three beside her, letting out a groan before she clapped her hands, causing Gustavo to let out a yell as the trio moved as Dani let out a loud gasp.

"I know the title!" Dani happily said, "It's not Pair of Eyes. It's Paralyzed."

"Now that's a rockin' title." Kelly spoke, causing Kendall to nod.

"Dani, you're a genius!" Kendall exclaimed.

"To the studio!"

The next morning, at 8 a.m., Dani found herself inside a moving truck with guys.

This was Gustavo's grand idea to show the world that Big Time Rush did, in fact, rock.

The plan was for the truck to stop on one of the busiest streets in all of LA, causing a traffic jam as the boys performed their new song on top of the truck.

Dani thought it was a good plan, but she just hopes no one gets arrested.

"So you both got friend zoned anyway?" Dani asked, looking at the duo in front of her.

"Yup." James and Carlos spoke, fist-bumping.

That caused Dani to let out a laugh as she shook her head at the duo.

The truck came to a quick stop, causing the girl to stumble and almost fall, but luckily her knight was there to catch her once again.

The pair shared a smile before the blonde boy helped the girl step off the truck before all the teens and band quickly unloaded, making their way to the top.

Dani somehow got roped into playing guitar for the boys-something about her knowing the chords the best.

But, in all honesty, Dani didn't mind performing with her best friends.

"And finally, tonight, no charges will be filed against the band Big Time Rush for their impromptu downtown concert this morning because, according to Police Chief Stevens, everyone had a good time, and BTR rocks." The newscaster reported, causing the friends in 3B to happily cheer.

"The cops are right," Lucy confessed. "BTR rocks."

"Thank you," Kendall happily said.

"And thank you two for helping me move." Lucy grinned, touching James and Carlos' knees. "My place looks great."

"Friend zone. Yay!' The duo sarcastically cheered, causing Dani to chuckle from behind Carlos and Camille right beside Kendall.

"Hey, it is going to be cool having a friend with their own place." Logan admitted, causing the others to nod as Dani looked at them in disbelief.

"Hello, other friend, still with her own place, sitting right here." Dani pointed at herself. "I mean, come on, I live right across from you guys."

"She is right." Camille said. "And it is a little snug in here, though."

"Very snug."

"It's just a little snug."

"Very small."

That caused the six teens to turn and look at the blonde girl sitting in the middle.

"My place?" Dani suggested, causing the group to quickly agree.

The seven teens all attempted to stand up at the same time, which was a bad idea.

James was knocked into an amp.

Kendall knocked over the microwave.

Logan knocked down the self that had a bunch of CD's on it.

Carlos nearly knocked the picture off the wall.
