The Jennings girl had waited in her apartment for the Garcia boy for over an hour, but he never showed.

 It wasn't like him to miss baking with Dani, so the blonde decided to go look for the boy.

"Hey guys, have you seen Carlos around?" Dani asked, approaching the trio dressed in their hockey gear outside of the Palm Woods, causing them all to shake their heads.

"Nope."

"Sorry."

"Beats me."

"Huh. That's weird; he promised to help me bake today, but he never showed." Dani explained, causing the boys to gasp. "Has he seemed different to you guys?"

That caused James and Logan to slowly turn their attention to Kendall.

"Okay, so you may be onto something." James spoke, causing Logan to quickly nod.

"Be onto what, exactly?" Dani questioned.

"It's blonde Jennifer." Kendall explained. "It's like ever since he rescued and started dating her, he's been... different."

"Well..." James started, picking up his hockey stick from the ground with Logan. "There's one thing that'll never change: Carlos' love of goaltending."

The four teenagers turned to look at the goal, only to find it empty.

"Carlos?" Logan called.

"Anyone for tennis?" The Garcia boy asked, jumping in front of the goal with a racket in hand, and instead of being dressed in his hockey gear, he was dressed in tennis apparel.

All four of their jaws dropped when Jennifer appeared, quickly dragging the boy away.

The Jennings girl found herself in the boy's crib, sitting beside the Knight boy on her beloved orange couch before the five teens had to leave for the dog adoption.

Mama Knight's heels caught the teens attention as she grabbed her purse.

"MM." The woman moaned in pain as she touched her cheek.

"You're going to the dentist." Kendall spoke, causing the woman to make the sound again. "Uh. Molar issue... and if you're not back by lunch, there's pizza in the oven?"

"She said fridge." Dani corrected the boy, causing Mama Knight to nod before she blew a kiss. "And she also loves you, me, and the guys."

Ms. Knight quickly waved the four teens goodbye before she held her cheek in pain as she made her way out the door.

Logan and James turned to the couple with confused looks on their faces.
"We speak mumble mom." Kendall stated, causing the boys to nod, impressed.

"Carlitos! Let's go!" James exclaimed. "We're going to be late for the doggie-doption fair."

"You know what? He's probably putting on a new shoulder sweater so Jennifer can pull him around on her leash." Logan said, causing Dani to chuckle.

"Come on, guys, he's probably just happy to finally have a girlfriend." Dani spoke, shrugging her shoulders as she stood up from the couch. "Maybe we should give him a break."

"I totally agree." Kendall declared, sending the girl a smile as he stood up beside her.

The couple's smiles quickly dropped when they noticed the boy entering the room with a pink sweater wrapped around his shoulders.

"Okay, break over." Kendall mumbled to the trio.

"I'm not gonna be able to make the doggie-doption." Carlos admitted, causing the group to look at him shocked. "Jennifer doesn't like dog hair, and I might get some on my sweater."

"Then take the stupid sweater off!" Dani snapped, causing Kendall to quickly place his hands on her shoulders.

"What she means is, uh, we're finding dogs' homes." Logan reminded the boy.

"There's gonna be puppies there." James exclaimed, holding up the flyer with all five of their faces.

"Puppies?" Carlos gasped, causing the four friends to nod. "You're right. I'm going."

The door swung open, and Jennifer strutted into the apartment.

"Carlos, come with me to the pool in case I need you to do things for me." Jennifer ordered.

"Uh, I got to go with Dani and the guys." Carlos informed the blonde.

"But I want to be with you." The girl pouted, swirling her finger in the boy's face, causing the four teens to look at the new couple confused.

"Bye, guys." Carlos waved, causing Jennifer to pull him away by the sweater around his neck. "Sorry."

"Okay, new plan." Kendall announced, taking the spot that Carlos once stood. "You two go rescue the dogs, while me and Dani rescue the Carlos."

"Done." Logan and James agreed.

Kendall quickly grabbed his girlfriend's hand, leading her out of the apartment.

"But there's going to be puppies!"

Dani sat on the back of the couch beside the Knight boy with her arms crossed as he peered out of the window in the lobby.

"She took away his cannonballs. He loves cannonballs. Jennifer did that thing with her finger and gave them up like he was under a spell."

"Okay, that's a bit extreme, don't you think?"

"Not if she's a witch." Kendall said, gazing back out of the window, causing the girl to roll her eyes.

"I must admit the relationship seems very Carlos-sided." Dani spoke before letting out a sigh, causing the boy to turn to her as she pushed herself up off the couch. "But what are we supposed to do? Not all relationships are the same."

"Right. Which is why we need to show Carlos what a healthy relationship is like so we can break her teen witch spell."

"Yeah, absolutely not." Dani shook her head.

"Well, why not!" Kendall exclaimed, stomping his foot.

"Because it seems like every time we do things remotely similar, it always ends in us fighting." Dani reminded the boy.

"We need to show Carlos what a healthy relationship is like!"

"If I get hurt, you'll be the one in a ridiculous sweater!" Dan snapped, pointing at the boy.

The couple stuck their heads out of the closed cabana as they watched Carlos and Jennifer without being seen.

"Okay, operation 'show Carlos what a healthy relationship is so he'll realize that Jennifer is treating him unfairly, and then he's gonna-"

"You are terrible at operation names." Dani interjected, glancing up at the boy. "Can we just get this thing over with?"

Dani quickly threw the curtain away from her as she stepped out, causing Kendall to quickly follow behind her, both carrying a corndog in hand.

The couple sat in the pool chair right beside Carlos and Jennifer, facing them.

"Who's in the mood for a corn dog?" Kendall asked.

"I am. And even though I'm not the biggest fan of corn dogs, I like to try things that Kendall likes. " Dani explained, cheering corndogs with her boyfriend before the couple crossed arms, eating their food.

"Jennifer, do you hear that?" Carlos gasped, pointing at his friends.

"Carlos, bike ride. Now!" Jennifer demanded.

"Bye guys."

The duo watched the pair leave, causing Kendall to quickly pull his arm away from Dani, causing him to hit her in the face in the process.

"I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry." Kendall apologized, kissing the girl's head. "But we gotta go."

Before the Jennings girl had the chance to respond, he grabbed onto her arm, dragging her after Carlos and Jennifer.

"You pedal." Kendall said, quickly getting into the back.

"Me? Why me?" Dani exclaimed. "You were the one who just nearly took my eye out."

"Just pedal!"

"Fine!" Dani huffed, getting onto the bike before she slowly began peddling.

"Go faster!" Kendall said. "They're getting away!"

Dani quickly peddled as fast as she could to catch up to the couple, making her huffing out of breath. "Kendall and I take turns pedaling because relationships are about sharing and give and take."

"Really?" Carlos asked, glancing back at the blonde girl.

"Faster, Carlos!"

And that's exactly what the boy did.

"Hurry up! You're losing him!"

"I'm going as fast as I can!" Dani snapped as she tried pedaling harder.

"Kendall, I'm not sure about this one." Dani said, glancing down at the hockey gear she dressed in.

"Don't worry, you'll be fine." Kendall waved his hand, quickly getting into position, causing the girl to sigh before doing the same thing. "Knight at the puck. It's going in. Fast break!"

Dani let out a groan of pain as she hit the ground from impact just as Carlos and Jennifer approached in their tennis gear.

"Even though I hate hockey, I do it because he loves it." Dani spoke through a fake smile before letting her body fall back to the ground.

"Woah! Dani does things that Kendall likes, even though Dani doesn't like doing them."

"But I like you doing the things that I like." Jennifer stated. "Don't you?"

"Bye, guys."

Kendall quickly rushed over toward the Jennings girl, watching the couple leave before he looked down at his girlfriend.

"Did you see that? She did the finger again."

"Yeah, I can't see anything. I'm on the ground!" Dani exclaimed.

"It is a spell." Kendall muttered, ignoring the girl, causing her to scoff.

The girl swipped her hockey stick at the back of the boy's ankle, causing him to hit the ground beside her.

"I deserved that." Kendall groaned.

"You think!"

Dani took a moment to herself before she decided to head back to the crib and help Kendall with Operation Rescue Carlitos.

The girl made her way across the hall, quickly knocking on the door.

The door opened, revealing Kendall, causing a smile to grow on the girl's face.

"Hey. So I'm all rested and ready to go. What's the plan?" Dani asked.

"The plan is that this relationship is not working out. It's not you. It's me. And I need some space, so we're breaking up."

"Are you serious right now?"

Dani didn't even get to finish her sentence as Kendall slammed the door in her face, causing the girl to feel hurt.

She stood still for a few moments, glancing up at the door, hoping the boy would reopen it and tell her it was just a messed-up joke, but he never did.

The girl let out a sigh before turning around and making her way back to her apartment.

It wasn't even three minutes after she stepped into her home when she heard banging on her front door, causing her to open it to reveal Kendall, making the girl cross her arms.

"It's her kiss. That's the spell!" Kendall exclaimed. "She does this with her finger, then they go kiss. She's not a witch. She's just a really good kisser."

"Okay. Is that all?" Dani asked, causing the boy to raise his eyebrows.

"Is everything okay?" Kendall asked, causing the girl to scoff.

"No, everything's not okay. Because the last time I checked, you broke up with me!" Dani snapped, causing the boy's eyes to go wide.

"What? No! You didn't actually think I was seri--." Kendall started, causing the girl to give him a serious look. "Oh, you thought I was serious."

"I told you I didn't want to do this in the first place because we always end up fighting."

"Well, we're not fighting now." Kendall said.

"I am!" Dani snapped.

"Look, I'm super sorry, and I can't break the spell without you." Kendall apologized. "So how can I make it up to you?"

That caused a grin to grow on the girl's face.

...

The couple walked side by side as Dani wore the biggest smile on her face.

"You enjoying this? Having fun?" Kendall asked in a mocking tone, causing the girl to nod. "'Cause you seem pretty happy."

"I think you look pretty hot."

"Really?" Kendall asked, smiling at the girl.

"No. That sweater is horrendous." Dani laughed, causing the boy's smile to slowly drop.

The boy let out a huff as he walked faster.

"Kendall, wait." Dani called, letting out a chuckle as followed after the boy.

The couple quickly made their way to the park, where they found Carlos standing behind a bench that Jennifer was sitting on.

Dani and Kendall grabbed the boy by the shoulders before pulling him through the bush, causing him to land on the ground in front of them.

"Shh."

"Nice sweater." Carlos complemented, causing a smile to form on Dani's lips.

"No, it's not a nice sweater!" Kendall exclaimed quietly, causing Carlos to quickly shake his head. "And you are under a kissing spell from Jennifer."

"No, I'm not."

"Los, she goes like this with her finger, then you kiss, then you do literally anything she says." Dani said.

"No, I don't."

"Look, any minute now she's gonna come over here..."

The Knight boy quickly went quiet as the trio spotted the pink shoes, causing them to gaze up and find Jennifer.

"I thought I told you, it's either me or them." Jennifer glared at the couple.

"That kinda sounds unfair." Dani stated, causing Kendall to quickly nod.

"I don't care. Now carry me to the pool."

Carlos looked over at his friends hesitantly before Jennifer grabbed his face, pulling him into a kiss.

"Bye, guys."

"If you want to break a spell, you need a potion."

"She's not a witch!" Dani snapped, causing the boy to glance over at her. "And a potion, really? Where do you expect us to get a potion?"

Dani quickly spotted Mama Knight as she made her way over to the couple.

"Isn't it such a nice sweater?" Dani agreed, holding Kendall's arm as she repeated what the woman said.

"No, it's not a nice sweater." Kendall said, causing his mom to speak in muffle. "Oh, good, you're feeling better. The medicine helped. It numbed the pain, but you can't feel anything on your mouth."

Mama Knight nodded, causing the teenage girl to share a smile with the boy.

After quickly coming up with a new plan, Dani and Kendall raced back to the lobby, watching the couple sitting by the pool from the blinds in the lobby.

"Okay, after what I believe is her ninth smoothie today, the not-so-teen witch should be leaving soon for the..." Dani started, watching Jennifer hand over her smoothie to Carlos before quickly standing up from her seat, causing the Jennings girl to smirk. "Bathroom."

"Let's go." Kendall whispered, causing the couple to rush toward their best friend, making the Garcia boy quickly stand up as he eyed them suspiciously. "I know what you're going to say, but we're sorry we excused Jennifer of having a spell, and- wow, your lips look chapped."

"They do look very chapped." Dani nodded in agreement as Carlos quickly covered his lips.

"What? Jennifer hates chapped lips." Carlos cried out.

"Quick. Put this on." Kendall said, holding up a tube of chapstick.

"Oh, thank you. Thank you. Thank you. You know Jennifer is an amazing kisser, and I really think this would—" Carlos' words became unintelligible, causing the couple to share a smirk.

"Ahem."

Carlos let out a scream as Jennifer appeared behind him, causing him to rush toward Dani and Kendall.

"Well, look who's back." Jennifer said. "Carlos, get rid of them."

Carlos began mumbling incoherent words, causing Jennifer to look at the boy confused.

"Okay, you sound confused. Maybe this will clear things up." The blonde girl waved her finger in the boy's face before pulling him in for a kiss.

Once she pulled away, Carlos stood there looking at his friends confused.

"Okay, why aren't you getting rid of them, and what are you saying?"

"He's saying he doesn't feel the same way about your kiss." Kendall said, causing Carlos to nod.

"Oh, yeah? Well, what about this one?"

Jennifer attempted the kiss once and again, but there was still no reaction from the Garcia boy.

"Looks like one kissing spell was broken by one magic potion." Dani said.

"So you admit it was a spell." Kendall spoke, looking over at his girlfriend.

"So not the time."

"What are you talking about?" Jennifer asked, confused.

"Just a little strawberry lip balm mixed with some of my mom's toothache away." Kendall explained.

Carlos began to mumble once again.

"He's saying he could really go for a corn dog right now." Dani said, holding up the food on a stick, causing the boy to gasp as he quickly grabbed it.

"Carlos." Jennifer warned. "Eat that corn dog, and we're through."

Carlos looked over to Dani before looking up at Kendall before turning his attention back to Jennifer, taking a giant bite out of the corn dog.

Jennifer stomped her foot, letting out a scoff before she turned and stormed away from the trio.

The Garcia boy continued eating his corndog happily, only for it to fall from his mouth to the ground.

"Maybe you should wait for the toothache away to wear off." Dani said, sending the boy a small smile.

The three teens made their way down the hallway of Rocque Records but slowed down, looking around the room in confusion.

"We're here for rehearsal." Kendall trailed off as Carlos rushed past the couple, quickly dropping to the floor.

The sound of barking filled the girl's ears before suddenly a dog began jumping at her waist.

"Well, hello there. Who do we have here?" Dani gushed, picking up the dog in her arms.

"Roger." Logan and James spoke.

Dani let out a laugh as the dog began licking the girl all over her face.

"I think he likes you." Kendall said, petting the dog's head.

"Yeah, I think I like him too." Dani smiled at the dog, scratching his ear.

The door to Gustavo's off suddenly swung open as the man walked out with his voice booming. "Okay, I'm back. And I still have no idea what to do with this music video, and... what are these dogs doing here?"

"Um..." Kelly stuttered out. "Well, you said that you wanted a bunch of stuff for the music video, so I got you dogs."

"Dogs. Really?" Gustavo asked. "We're going to put dogs in the music video with my dogs?"

"I think it's a great idea." Dani shrugged, rocking herself back and forth with Roger.

"Well, I think that is probably the most—I've done it again."

The next day, the music video featuring the dog was up and booming, causing the group to open the dog adoption at Rocque Records.

There were multiple families that came in looking to take home one of nine stars of the big time rush video.

"Here you go, sweetie; make sure you take care of this sweet girl." Dani smiled, handing over the small dog to the young girl.

"Thank you."

"Thanks for coming." Kendall waved, wrapping his arm around his girlfriend's shoulder.

"Thank you."

"Well, now we know how to find dogs' homes." James said, causing the others to nod.

"Make them stars in a Big Time Rush video." Logan added, fistbumping James.

"Wait, I thought there were nine dogs?" Carlos questioned, glancing around the room.

"Roger." Everyone called.

The sound of barking was heard as the sound of paws hitting the ground, the white and tan dog emerging from the dance studio.

"Roger!"

"Come here, boy." Dani called, causing the dog to quickly make his way over to the blonde before she picked him off the ground. "I think we're going to have a great time together, Roger."

That caused the others to laugh at the girl and her dog.

"Okay, all of your dogs have found new homes, so I need my dogs to clean up my studio." Gustavo declared.

"Uh, we'll get right on that." Kendall started. "By the way, your lips look really chapped. Lip balm?"

Gustavo grabbed the tube from the boy's hand, causing Kendall to quickly lead Dani and Roger over towards the boys.

"Okay, fine. Now, I want you guys to clean up these cages and put things away and-."

Gustavo began mumbling his words as the toothache medication quickly kicked in.

"What? Really? You got this?" Kendall said.

Gustavo began to mumble out more words.

"We can have the rest of the week off." James added.

"And Kelly too?" Carlos spoke.

"Get over here." The teens urged the woman toward them, and she happily obliged.

"Hey!" Gustavo exclaimed.

The group walked backwards down the hallway, leaving the producer.

"We love you too!"

They all turned around before quickly racing out of the studio, leaving Gustavo alone to clean up the dog's mess.
