Dani couldn't sleep the night before because it was the day that she had to say goodbye to Charlie Roberts.

She was up at 5 in the morning, baking her feelings away. Noticing it was only 8 a.m. on a Saturday, the Jennings girl knew the boys wouldn't be up anytime soon, so she decided she would drop the treats off with Ms. Knight on her way to meet Charlie.

She made her way across the hall, lightly knocking on the door, only for it to be swung open not even a second later, revealing a fully awake Kendall.

"Morning." Dani smiled up at the boy, causing him to send her a grin. "I was just going to drop these off with your mom for when you and the boys woke up, but since you're up.'

"Late night, baking again?" Kendall asked, grabbing the containers from the girl's hand, causing his hand to brush against hers, making them send each other a smile before the girl slowly pulled her hand away.

"Uh, yeah, yeah. I couldn't really sleep." Dani replied.

"Morning, Dani." Logan called from behind the door, snapping Dani's attention away from the tall blonde as he opened the door wider, causing the girl to finally realize the other three boys were standing a few inches away as they waved at the girl, along with Griffin and a film crew.

"Morning, guys." Dani said, stepping into the apartment. "I brought you guys some goods; there's cookies, cupcakes, and cinnamon rolls, all homemade, of course."

"Sweet!" Logan, James, and Carlos exclaimed, each taking a container from their tall blonde friend.

"Uh, what's going on here?" Dani questioned, looking at the camera crew that was filming their conversation as they all waved at the girl, causing her to awkwardly wave back.

"I'm gonna have a reality show!" James excitedly exclaimed with his mouth full of cupcakes, causing the other three to cough. "I mean we. We're going to have a reality show."

"That explains most of it." Dani said. "Well, I just wanted to swing by and drop those off. I'm supposed to spend the day with Charlie before he leaves tonight. So if you need me, just text me, but only if it's an emergency."

"Got it."

"Oh, also." Dani smirked, stopping halfway out the door, causing the boy's to turn and face her. "Nice PJ's, boys."

...

The sound of the elevator dinging caused the door to open as the Jennings girl stepped out into the lobby.

She quickly noticed the Roberts boy sitting on the couch with his back toward her, causing her to quietly walk to the boy, placing her hands over his eyes.

"Hmm, let me guess." Charlie jokingly said, "Small hands, the smell of berries and vanilla. If I'm not mistaken, it's Danielle Jennings from apartment 2K."

"Berries and vanilla?" Dani asked, dropping her hands and looking at the boy, confused. "Interesting."

"So, you ready for the day?" Charlie questioned, standing up from the couch, leaning against the back of it.

"Yeah. I have a free day, so we can do whatever you want. Just me and you."

And as on que, the camera crew quickly surrounded the girl, causing her to bump back into Charlie.

"Can I help you?" Dani asked the crew, confused.

"You didn't hear?" Snake Timmons, the producer, spoke up. "You're a series regular on the Big Time reality show."

"Reality show?" Charlie asked, looking confused.

"Our CEO gave the boys their own reality show." Dani explained, looking back at the boy, causing him to nod before the duo looked back at the crew. "I don't see how the band has anything to do with my life."

"Well, you are one of their songwriters and a good friend, right?" Snake said, snapping his fingers, causing one of the crew members to hand him a tablet. " Logan said, and I quote, "Dani is one of our best friends. She's been there for us since we moved into the Palm Woods. She also writes some of our songs from time to time." End quote. Carlos also added, "She bakes us treats all the time. We love her so much. Oh, and her cookies."

"Darn my niceness." Dani muttered under her breath. "Look, if it's an interview or something you want, I can do it later, but right now I'm very busy."

"According to Griffin, we are allowed to film you whenever we want because of the contract you signed." Snake spoke, turning around the screen to show her signed contract. "And who might he be?"

"No one, who concerns you." Dani snapped, stepping in front of the boy as he stood up behind her. "He has no contract; you can't film him."

"Actually, we do." Snake said, holding up a signed form with Charlie's signature at the bottom.

"You signed the contract."

"They asked if they could use my face in the background." Charlie shrugged his shoulders, causing the girl to let out a sigh.

"Oh, my god, is that Jordan Sparks?" Dani gasped, pointing behind the film crew, causing them to quickly turn around as Dani grabbed Charlie's hand, quickly pulling him out of the Palm Woods lobby.

"Oh, she's good." Snake said, turning back around and watched the duo run out of the lobby. "Find them!"

"Sorry about that back there." Dani said, walking side by side with the boy through the park.

"Eh, don't worry about it. I'm getting used to the camera." Charlie teased, smirking at the girl, causing her to chuckle. "I just hope they got my good side."

"Yeah, okay." Dani snorted, bumping her shoulder into the boy's arm, causing him to laugh as she smiled up at the boy. "So, are you excited?"

"I think I actually am." Charlie answered truthfully as the duo took a seat on one of the benches. "I don't know; I guess I'm just ready for the new experiences. New place, new people. It'll be great."

"Yeah, it sounds great." Dani smiled.

"Hey, guys." Logan called, waving from a nearby table he was sitting at with Camille, causing her to smile and wave.

"Hey, what's going on here?" Charlie asked, looking between the ex-couple as they held cards in their hands.

"Go Fish, wanna play?" Camille replied, looking between her brother and her best friend.

"I think I'm gonna have to pass." Dani said, causing the Roberts boy to nod. "It already looks pretty intense over here."

"Alright, cut!" Snake exclaimed, causing the four to turn and face the camera crew. "What is this? an old married couple? Logan, this show needs passion, betrayal, then passion again."

"We'll, that would be kind of awkward because we kind of already dared." Logan explained, pointing between him and Camille.

"Yeah, but now we don't." Camille added.

"And if you want this show to be as huge as Griffin does, you do again." Snake ordered, snapping his fingers, causing someone to hand him a box of chocolates, quickly placing it in Logan's hands. "Camille, I got you these chocolates. Oh, Logan, I love it. But we can't be together, not if you're in love with her... too."

Snake grabbed Camille's hand, causing her to point her finger at Dani, causing her to let out a snort.

"Okay, wait, so this is how reality TV really works?" Logan asked.

"Absolutely." Dani answered, crossing her arms.

"Now, you two. Kiss." Snake demanded, pointing at Logan and Camile.

"Alright, we're gonna go. I don't want to see... that." Charlie gagged, grabbing the blonde girl's hand and pulled her away.

"Find something on that Jennings girl." Snake whispered to one of the crew members, causing them to nod before turning their attention back to Logan and Camile.

...

"Smoothie."

Charlie handed the girl the pink drink before taking a seat beside her in the Palm Woods lobby.

"Thanks. Sorry, we haven't been able to do things you've wanted to." Dani apologized, sending the boy a small smile.

"Hey, don't worry about it. I had a feeling the day wouldn't go as planned before the camera crew got here."

"Hey, guys." Kendall greeted, smiling at the duo before looking over at Dani. "Sorry to interrupt, but I need to take Dani for a little bit."

"Wha-." Dani started but quickly stopped as the blonde boy threw her over his shoulder. "Kendall!"

The boy didn't set the girl down until they were in front of the Palm Woods beside Katie, causing the Jennings girl to hit the boy on the arm.

"Ow!" Kendall cried, holding his arm and looking at the blonde girl, confused. "What'd you do that for?"

"I don't know, maybe because you tossed me over your shoulder like a doll." Dani snapped, throwing her arms up. "This better be important, Knight."

"James and Carlos won't stop fighting; Logan and Camille have been kissing all day, and my mom has turned into a housewife." Katie explained. "Oh, and the crew got Kendall's butt on camera. Literally."

"Would it be wrong to laugh?" Dani asked, smiling at the blonde boy.

"Yes!" Kendall exclaimed, causing the girl to nod. "We just need your help getting rid of the video because that super producer won't get rid of the tape, and now I have cameras following me everywhere."

"Which is why I said no to being on the show." Katie pointed out.

"Well, we had no choice." Kendall said, pointing between Dani and himself. "Now this is the part where you two offer to help me because you're my best friend, and you're my baby sister, and you love me."

"Fine." Dani groaned, causing the boy to silently cheer. "So I was looking over the contract, and it looks like Griffin's the executive producer of the show."

"Which means what exactly?" Kendall questioned, causing Dani and Katie to shake their heads.

"It means if you want your butt back, you're going to have to get it from him, and I love you." Katie explained, high-fiving the older boy as she walked away.

As soon as she walked away, the camera crew came rushing at the duo, causing them to groan.

"Oh, great." Dani muttered.

"Aw, unbelievable." Kendall said as James approached the duo.

"Hey buddy." James said, placing his hand on the boy's shoulder before punching him in the face, causing him to fall to the ground as Dani let out a giant gasp.

"What was that?" Kendall snapped, quickly getting up as he held his cheek.

"Great reality TV!" Carlos exclaimed, rushing up behind the group and putting a trash can over Kendall's head before James pushed him back to the ground.

"Very good; stay with them." Snake ordered, pointing at the fighting duo as Mama Knight came rushing from the Palm Woods, trying to break them up. "Stay with mom. I'm loving this."

Soon Logan and Camile approached Dani as she watched Carlos and James in disbelief.

"You two! Kiss, now!" Snake demanded, pointing at the trio, causing them to look at each other before looking back at him. "The ex!"

That caused Camille to quickly pull the boy into another long kiss, causing Dani to take a step to the left away from the awkward teens kissing but was quickly bumped out of the way as a random person came out of the Palm Woods dancing.

"Okay, stop!" Dani exclaimed, causing everyone to freeze as Kendall appeared beside her.

"Don't you guys see what this reality show is doing to us?" Kendall said, pulling off the garbage that got attached to him. "And I guarantee you, Griffin's not going to like it."

"Bam!" James exclaimed, once again punching Kendall in the face, causing him to fall to the ground as the group went back to being chaotic.

"Oh brother." Dani muttered, rolling her eyes, before helping Kendall off the ground. "Maybe stay away from James when the cameras are rolling."

"Yeah, maybe you're right." Kendall said, nodding his head as he held his cheek as the duo watched the others from a safe distance.

...

"I don't like it." Griffin stated, watching the clip on Snake's tablet. "I love it! Reality TV at its finest, very good for business."

"But wouldn't the show be terrible for business if it tears Big Time Rush apart?" Dani questioned, gesturing to the group behind them. "I mean, what's the point if the show is based on a bunch of lies?"

"James and Carlos can't stop fighting." Kendall pointed out just as the duo punched each other in the face, causing them both to fall to the ground. "Logan and Camille have to pretend they're in love. Guys, the cameras are off."

"Oh, thank goodness." Logan gasped as the ex-couple quickly pulled apart.

"They're on again." Snake called out, causing the duo to quickly reattach their lips to one another.

"Well, I'm not saying another word on this show until I get my butt back." Kendall announced, crossing his arms.

"But, fellas, calm down. You haven't heard about the real big-time rush shocking ending." Griffin said, causing the other three to quickly crowd around Kendall and Dani.

"Shocking ending?"

"Get ready, because in the season finale, the viewers get to vote on which band member gets kicked out of Big Time Rush! And pick their hot replacement." Snake explained, pointing at the door as a group of six guys dressed like the guys came walking into the room.

The producer quickly turned his tablet around and showed the group the trailer for the show.

"You can't kick one of us out of Big Time Rush." James exclaimed.

"As executive producer of this show and CEO of R.C.M.C.B.T. global net sanyoid, I can do just about anything I want." Griffin explained. "Except digest cheese and stop my wife from remodeling."

"Griffin, this is the definition of invasion of privacy." Dani argued, causing the other four to nod.

"No, it's reality TV."

"You know Gustavo will not stand for this." Kendall said.

"Well, let's check in on Gustavo and see what he has to say." Griffin said, causing Snake to hand him the tablet before flipping it towards the teens as their smiles faded watching the producer and his assistant stand their frozen waving at the camera. "Frankly, I don't see the problem. You came to Hollywood to be stars, and you're going to be huge."

Logan quickly leant over to Carlos, silently whispering in the boy's ear before turning back to the producer.

"Well, we're not going to be..." Carlos started, quickly leaning back over to Logan. "Manipulated like this."

"And you can't kick one of us out, because Big Time Rush sticks together." Kendall announced, causing the four boys to smirk.

The teens watched intently as Snake whispered to Griffin.

"How about at the end of the season, I give the big-time members who have not voted out a victory bonus?" Griffin offered, causing the four boys to look around at each other as Dani watched the two men with her arms crossed. "Of 1 million dollars."

"Money?" Dani snorted. "Do you really think money's going to come between the guys's friendship?"

...

"I'm gonna win that money." James declared, sitting in front of the camera, causing Dani to facepalm herself. "And will not be the one voted out of Big Time Rush. If you ask me, Carlos will be the one voted off. I think he shaves his legs."

"Okay, great." Snake smiled at the boy before turning and scanning the other four teens. "Ah, Dani, you're up."

"Do I have a choice?" Dani groaned, crossing her arms, causing the man to just stare at her with a smile, causing her to roll her eyes as she took a seat. "Whatever."

"So who do you think will be voted out of Big Time Rush?" Snake asked, snapping his fingers, causing the camera crew to zoom in on the girl's face.

"Hm..." Dani contemplated her answer, tapping her finger on her chin as if she were thinking, causing the camera crew to lean in. "Oh, yeah. No one."

"You have to pick someone." Snake groaned, getting frustrated with the girl as his fist began to ball up.

"No, I think I'm good." Dani shook her head, causing the boys to laugh.

"Just say someone's name." Snake said as his face began turning red.

"Okay, you then." Dani smiled.

"Okay." Snake sighed, letting out a breath before smiling at the girl. "Let's talk about your relationship with Logan. When did you realize you had feelings for him?"

"For the last time. There's nothing going on with me and Logan." Dani snapped, getting very irritated. "We're best friends, okay? Nothing has happened, and nothing ever will."

"Are you sure about that?" Snake asked, holding his hand out, causing someone to hand him his tablet. "Because from the looks of this video, I'd say otherwise."

The man turned the tablet around, allowing the teens to see a video from the night of the school dance, causing Dani and Logan's eyes to go wide.

"How do you have that?" Dani demanded, quickly standing up from the chair. "That's an invasion of privacy!"

"You and Dani kissed?" James exclaimed, causing the three boys to turn to the Mitchell boy, causing him to let out a nervous laugh.

"Let's just say that when the executive producer of the show also owns the building you work in, it has its perks." Snake confessed, smiling at the girl. "So back to the interview."

"I'm done with the interview." Dani said, turning around and walking away,

"You can't not do the show." Snake exclaimed, causing the girl to stop as she looked over her shoulder. "You have a contract."

"So what? Sue me." Dani scoffed, walking out the door and closing it behind her with a slam.

"You and Dani kissed!"

Dani found herself in the Palm Woods park, looking for Robert's boy as she looked everywhere else but had yet to see him.

Her eyes quickly locked on Camille, causing her to quickly make her way to her.

"Hey, Cami. Would you happen to know where Charlie is? I've been looking everywhere for him. I even went by your apartment, and no one answered."

"I'm sorry, Dani, but he already left." Camille said, sending the girl a small smile. "His flight got pushed up."

"Oh." Dani muttered as her demeanor changed. She sent the girl a small fake smile. "It's okay."

"He tried waiting, but he really had to go." Camille explained, holding out an envelope. "He wanted me to give this to you."

Dani looked at the girl's outreached hand before slowly grabbing the sealed envelope with a small smile, "Thanks."

Camille placed a supportive hand on the girl's shoulder before walking away as Dani took a seat on the bench, looking down at the envelope she held lightly between her fingertips and reading her name in handwriting that belonged to Charlie Roberts.

She slowly turned it around as she stuck her finger under the flap and tore it open before pulling out the folded piece of paper as she slowly unfolded it.

Dani,

I'm writing this before I head to the airport. I was really looking forward to our day together, but I had a feeling it wouldn't go as planned. So I guess I'll hold onto the amazing memories we've already made together. In this short amount of time that I've known you, I can honestly say you're one of a kind, Danielle Jennings. One of the truest friends a guy could ask for. I don't know how long I'll be gone, but I know this isn't the last time we'll see each other. Take care of yourself while I'm away; do what makes you happy, even if that's going for the guy who isn't me. You may think no one knows, but there's an obvious attraction between you and him, so I say go for it. And hey, maybe if you're still single by the time I come back, maybe we could give us an actual shot.

Dani let a small smile form on her lips as she wiped away the single tear that fell down her face.

"Oh, Charlie," Dani mumbled to herself.

Dani's quiet was quickly cut short as the sound of Snake yelling caught the girl's attention.

"Why are my cameras not working?"

"Technical difficulties." Katie announced, throwing the largely unplugged cord onto the ground while she threw the other part over the nearby bush.

"Get the power back on!" Snake demanded, causing his staff to quickly get to work as Kendall appeared behind Carlos and James, quickly dragging them away as Katie dragged the Mitchell boy away by his ear. "Where are they going?"

"Dani, emergency band meeting." Katie said, stopping in front of the blonde girl as she held onto Logan's ear before dragging him again as Dani quickly followed behind them.

The group found themselves hiding in the Palm Woods in the air ducts.

"Why are we in the ducts?" Logan asked, rubbing his ear.

"Because there are no cameras in the ducts." Katie informed the group.

"Don't you guys see what this reality show is doing to us?" Kendall questioned, stating the obvious question. "If we don't band together now and stop it, one of us is going home to Minnesota. Now is that what we want?"

"No." Carlos said, shaking his head.

"We want a million dollars." Logan replied, causing the Jenning's girl to hit him in the arm.

"And massive exposure." James added.

"And you guys don't think you can get there the old-fashioned way?" Dani questioned. "You know, as a band and not as a freak show, that everyone knows them as the idiots who fight 24/7 because of the dumbest things and the boy who clearly has attachment issues."

"Not the way I was going to go, but she's right." Kendall said, nodding his head. "Does Green Day have a reality show? Lady Gaga? No! And neither does Big Time Rush."

"I mean, my face does hurt from all the slapping." Logan admitted, rubbing his jaw.

"Yeah, and I'd rather eat pie and play video games with Carlos than maim him." James added.

"Okay, but how do we get things back to the way they were?" Carlos asked, causing Kendall and Katie to share a look.

"We make a new reality show for Griffin." Kendall said, causing a smirk to form on the girl's face.

"I like where this is going." Dani smirked.

The sound of movement in the ducts was heard from behind Katie, causing the group to turn to the sound confused as TJ appeared.

"Let's do this, yo!" TJ exclaimed, excitedly.

"TJ, we don't know you!" The group exclaimed before the unknown boy quickly crawled away.

"So are we going to talk about the kiss or-." James started, looking between Dani and Logan, sitting side by side.

"No!"

...

"And cut!" Kendall yelled, causing Katie to unplug the power in Rocque Records, causing not only the cameras to go out but also the lights to go out.

"Oh, I hate being a reality show!" Gustavo groaned, leaning forward with Kelly as they let out a breath of relief.

"So do we!"

"But it's in our contract." Kelly stated. "We have to do this, or Griffin could vote us all off."

"Uh, you wouldn't happen to know a way into Griffin's office, would you?" Kendall asked.

"Are you kidding me? That thing is locked tighter than a bank safe!" Gustavo said.

"Kelly has a key." Dani pointed at the woman, causing everyone's attention to go to the middle-aged woman as she pulled out a copy of the CEO's office key.

"He left his keys once, and I made a copy." Kelly shrugged her shoulders, causing Gustavo to look at her in disbelief. "Is that wrong?"

"No. It's perfect." Katie smirked, taking the key from Kelly's hands.

Dani spent the rest of the evening helping the boys set up cameras all over Griffin's office as they gathered some great-quality footage the next day of the man doing his day-to-day... activities.

"So what's this urgent, super special meeting all about?" Griffin questioned the group standing before him.

"We want to show you TV's next reality superstar." James explained, pointing at the man.

"You're gonna love it!" Carlos said, assuring the man as he wore a big grin on his face.

"I know we do," Logan added.

"Dani, will you do the honors?" Kendall asked, looking down at the short blonde girl standing beside him.

"Oh, with pleasure." Dani smiled, pressing play on the computer, causing the CEO's face to appear.

The Real Griffin is what the group decided to call the new reality show, starring the CEO himself.

"A reality show? About me?" Griffin asked, sounding unimpressed after looking around his office and spotting multiple cameras hidden around the room.

"Starting now!"

It was made up of a compilation of what the man did during his day-to-day schedule, and let's just say, it's definitely something.

He fired someone and then rehired them just to fire them again. He cried a lot.

He played with and talked to taxidermied animals that Dani found really creepy.

Played with a toy car and jumped on the couch.

He kissed a picture of himself that sat on his desk, exercised in some very short shorts, and played with a ribbon.

He shot apples off of his employees heads with a real bow and arrow.

Sang some karaoke, more specifically to Big Time Rush and Dani songs.

Finally, to Kendall's delight, Griffin dropped the towel hanging around his waist, revealing his butt.

"That's my butt!" Griffin gasped, slamming his hands against the desk, causing Dani to pause the video.

"This show is really good." Snake said, leaning in towards Griffin.

"Quiet!" Griffin exclaimed, causing Snake to quickly move away.

"So! Still think reality shows aren't an invasion of privacy?" Kendall questioned.

"But it doesn't matter because this..." Griffin spoke, pointing at the laptop the Jennings girl held in her hand. "will never air on TV."

"Oh, we know." Gustavo started. "But with one press of that button,"

"This video goes out onto the internet for all the world to see." Kelly finished.

"But we'll erase it if you erase my butt; forget about the reality show and let us focus on our music." Kendall offered.

"5..4...3...2.." Dani counted down, moving her finger closer to the button.

"Okay, fine! No reality show." Griffin agreed, causing the girl to drop her hand with a smile. "Just erase this video, and I'll erase Kendall's butt, and the whole Real Big Time Rush show will go bye-bye."

That caused the group to cheer, smiling and high-fiving each other as Dani was pulled into a side hug by Kendall.
