Love Songs.

It's one of Dani's favorite things to write about because she always loved the idea of falling in love.

Dani was on her way out of her apartment, looking at her phone, when she ran into someone, causing her to drop her bag.

"I'm so sorry; I wasn't looking where I was going." The unknown blonde apologized, sending the Jennings girl a friendly smile.

"It's totally fine; I wasn't looking either." Dani said, smiling back, sticking her hand out. "You must be new. I'm Dani."

"I'm Jo. I just moved in."

"Well, welcome to the Palm Woods." Dani replied, opening her arms up. "Home of the Future Famous."

"Why, thank you." Jo said, causing both of the girls to start laughing.

"Well, I have to get to work, but we should totally meet up when I get back." Dani suggested. "I could show you around. If you want?"

"I would really like that." Jo agreed.

"Meet in the lobby; let's say 3:00." Dani asked, causing Jo to nod.

"I'll be there." Jo said, sending one last smile before heading into an apartment down the hall.

Soon as Jo's apartment door shut, the sound of the boy's yelling filled the hall, and Dani saw the boys heading her way as they bickered, yelling 'she will be mine' at each other.

"Hey!" Dani snapped, causing them all to stop and look at her. "Will someone tell me why Carlos is dripping through the hall, why Kendall's cheek is red, and why you idiots are screaming at each other?"

"I may have called one of the Simms Twins the wrong name." Carlos explained. "So they pushed me into the pool."

"Camille was rehearsing for a new role." Kendall answered, causing Dani to nod in understanding.

"And the yelling at each other?" Dani questioned, looking at all four of them.

"There's a new girl at The Palm Woods." Logan explained.

"And she's mine!" James yelled, causing them all to start screaming at each other again.

Dani rolled her eyes, pulling out a pair of earplugs and putting them in her ears before pulling out an air horn from her backpack and pushing the button. Once she noticed the boys stopped yelling and covered their ears, she put the air horn back in her bag and took out the ear plugs.

"Oh good, you stopped fighting." Dani smiled. "Now go change; Gustavo needs us at the studio."

"Today we are going to sing a love song." Gustavo announced, causing Kelly to hand out the music sheet to the boys. "It's a slow love song about love."

"The record company wants one of your demo songs to be a ballad." Kelly explained.

Dani noticed that the boys weren't paying attention to anything Gustavo or Kelly said; instead, they were focused on the huge man in the corner, Dani was pretty curious about who he was too.

"Okay, does anybody else notice the huge guy in the corner?" Kendall asked, pointing to the man as all the guys held up a finger, signaling that they saw him too.

"That is Freight Train, my new executive in charge of making people do what I say." Gustavo introduced the man, causing Freight Train to punch a hole in the wall beside him.

Dani's eyes widened in amazement as she nodded in approval as she fist bumped Freight Train, "Nice."

"Now, this is a song about when you see a girl for the first time and you know she's the one." Gustavo explained, causing all the boys to grow a smile. "Do you know what I'm talking about?"

All four boys turned as they put their hands on their chins as they looked up towards the ceilings, daydreaming once again, causing both Gustavo and Kelly to turn to the blonde next to them.

"Give it a second; they do this all the time." Dani explained, shrugging. "3...2...1."

On cue, all the guys broke from their daydreams and started fighting again.

"She will be mine!"

"Freight Train!" Gustavo called, causing the man to walk over to the boys. Swiftly, he picked up James and Carlos by the backs of their shirts, flinging them into the air and away from the other two.

"That was kind of fun." Carlos admitted, causing James to nod in agreement.

"What is that smell?" Gustavo asked in disgust, causing Dani to also begin to smell the strong scent.

"It's barracuda man spray." James explained, pulling out a can. "We're in love with a girl at the Palm Woods."

That caused Gustavo and Kelly to slowly turn and look over at the Jennings girl.

"It's not me!" Dano exclaimed, looking from the duo to the guys. "How are you in love with a girl that you haven't even said a word to?"

"You just know Dani." James spoke in a serious tone, spraying his man spray on his face. "And this is my edge. Better wear your cuda."

"You need an edge?" Kendall asked rhetorically.

"You always get the girl!" Carlos exclaimed.

"Yeah, give us a chance for once." Logan added.

"She will be mine!"

The boys began fighting once again, as if those four words were a curse to cause them to fight.

"Dogs. Booth. Now." Gustavo demanded, pointing back at Freight Train, causing the man to push all four boys into the booth.

"He is really good." Dani said as she followed behind, making her way into the studio and taking a seat in one of the chairs.

A loud sneeze from James into the microphone, caused a loud screeching noise to come through the headphones everyone was wearing.

Turn myself upside down - ACHOO

Dani quickly snatched the headphones off her head, throwing them onto the soundboard in front of her.

"This is a song about love, not sneezing!" Gustavo yelled.

"The pollen count is really high today." Kelly explained, placing her hand on his shoulder.

"Or maybe he's taken too much man spray to his brain?" Dani joked.

"Then get him to a doctor and fix him while I fix this song because it's horrible!" Gustavo told Kelly, causing her to walk over to the booth, grabbing James as Gustvo once again spoke into the mic. "Freight Train, take the dogs home."

Dani watched as Kendall happily greeted the man, jumping into his arms, causing her to laugh, before turning to Gustavo and asked, "Am I free to go too?"

"I don't care, as long as you keep your eyes on the dogs." Gustavo explained. "Make sure they don't do anything stupid."

"No promises!" The girl yelled over her shoulder as she raced after Freight Train and the boys.

It hasn't even been five minutes since they made it back to the Palm Woods, and Dani had already seemed to have lost all three guys, but she did see Jo sitting on a pool chair reading what looked like a script, so she decided to talk to her.

As she made her way over, she noticed three very familiar tree hats pop up from one of the bushes, but she decided to just ignore them.

"Hey." Dani greeted the girl with a smile.

"Oh, hey!" Jo said, smiling as she put her drink down, looking up at the girl. "I thought you had to work?"

"I did, but something came up, so here I am." Dani replied, as we both laughed. "Still up for that tour?"

"Absolutely." Jo agreed, standing up and linking arms with Dani as she showed her around the Palm Woods.

Not long after their little tour, Dani decided to go get them both an infamous smoothie while Jo sat in the lobby and looked over her lines for her audition for The Magic Middle School.

As Dani makes her way back into the lobby, she notices Carlos, dressed like a bad boy, sitting in the chair next to Jo.

Before Dani had the chance to reach them, Carlos quickly ran away into the corner. Jo looked at Dani, confused, causing her to send her a smile before she followed him, finding not only him but the other two boys as well.

"What are you idiots up to?" Dani asked, causing the three boys on the ground to jump. "And what's with the bad boy look? I thought we were done with the bad boy thing."

"We are trying to see who the new girl will like most, mate," Logan said in a horrible British accent.

"You mean Jo?" Dani asked, pointing in her direction.

"So that's her name," Logan said, hitting Kendall's shoulder, making the girl scoff.

"You didn't even know her name."

The boys shared a look before they sent her a sheepish smile.

"Logan also read Mama Knight's Cosmopolitan magazine, in which girls are attracted to bad boys and British guys." Carlos explained, guesturing towards himself and Logan.

"That's literally the stupidest thing I've ever heard." Dani said, glancing between the duo before looking over at Kendall. "What are you supposed to be?"

"Myself." Kendall answered with a smile.

"Nice."

"Lame."

The boy's comment made Dani roll her eyes.

"Whatever. I'm going to go back over to my new friend while you idiots deal with," Dani started, glancing around at the three smiling boys. "Whatever this is."

Dani quickly turned around, making her way to the couch before any of the boys had the chance to say anything, and took a seat beside Jo.

"Your smoothie." Dani offered, handing over the pink one, while the Jennings girl kept the blue one.

"Why, thank you." Jo smiled, taking the cup, placing the straw to her lips, and taking a sip. "This is amazing."

"Right!" Dani exclaimed.

Out of the corner of her eye, Dani could see Logan making his way over, but she decided to ignore the boy as she turned her attention back to Jo. Her head turned back quickly as the sound of a loud smack filled the lobby.

Camille was standing in front of a shocked Logan. "Camille, not now. Please not now!"

"Of course, I'll take you back!" Camille squealed, kissing him all over the face. "I'm going to tell Rachel we're back together and that I will destroy anybody." Camille turned, pointing at Jo, scaring her, before she turned back to Logan with a big smile. "Who tries to come between us."

Camille pulled a scared Logan back into another long kiss before she walked away.

"Bravo Camille!" Dani cheered, causing Camille to bow before she stepped on the elevator.

Logan made a whole bunch of gestures to Jo before he quickly turned around.

"What was that?" Jo asked, turning to the girl beside her.

"That was Camille, the Palm Woods actress, who is also one of my best friends, but you'll get used to it." Dani explained, causing her to nod. "Do you want to head out to the cabana?"

"Yeah, sure." Jo agreed, causing the two girls to stand and make their way to one of the cabanas.

Not long after, they were approached by the last boy of the three, Kendall.

"Hey," Kendall greeted with a smile.

"Hi," Jo said, looking up from her script.

"Dani."

"Kendork."

"I just wanted to welcome you to the Palm Woods," Kendall started as Freight Train approached, grabbing the back of his shirt, lifting him into the air. "I'm Kendall, and, uh..."

"It's always great to see you, Freight Train!" Dani smiled, fist-bumping the man.

"This looks weird, right?" Kendall asked, causing Jo to nod. "Uh, we can continue this conversation when my friend Freight Train puts me down." Freight Train swiftly puts Kendall over his shoulder as he begins to walk away. "We'll do this again sometime."

Dani watched as Logan and Carlos were mid-high five when Freight Train grabbed their hands as he threw Logan over his other shoulder and dragged Carlos by his hand.

"That's my cue; I have to go." Dani announced, laughing as Carlos waved to her before he was dragged into the lobby, causing her to turn to Jo. "I probably won't be back before, so good luck at your audition; knock them dead."

James was trying to sing with a gas mask on his face, but all that was heard were muffled sounds, causing Gustavo to slam his hands onto the piano keys.

"What was that? What was that?" Gustavo exclaimed, turning to face the boys.

"You told me to get him to stop sneezing, and I did," Kelly said.

"But he can't sing!' Gustavo shouted. "And we have to sing this love song because the record company wants a love song, and I still hate this song!"

"Well, he refuses to take an allergy shot, and I'm not a nurse!" Kelly yelled.

"Your yelling has improved." Dani stated, impressed.

"It has." Gustavo agreed. "But it's more like this: Get him an allergy shot!"

James took off the mask, turning to face Gustavo. "It's my fault, Gustavo -ACHOO! I need to do this. I'll get the shot."

James followed Kelly out of the studio, only for him to turn back around and face the guys, pulling out his man spray as he sprayed himself while doing a dance before running off.

The other three began making up excuses, trying to make their way to the door, but were stopped by Freight Train.

"It's not that bad of a song." Dani spoke, looking over the lyrics. "In fact, if someone sang it to me, I'd be touched."

That sparked the boy's interest as they all turned to the girl, causing her to look up at them.

"How touched?" Kendall questioned, wrapping his arm around the girl's shoulder.

"Like go out with you touched?" Logan questioned.

"If we sang this song to you?" Carlos asked, pointing to the music sheet in his hand.

"Um, yeah..." Dani slowly replied, causing reality to hit her, making her shake her head. "No."

The boys once again started screaming at each other, but this time Freight Train pulled them into a tight bear hug.

"'So after a day trapped within the soundproof walls of his studio, Gustavo couldn't write the song that he wanted and failed'." Katie read from the report she wrote for school about Gustavo before she closed her notebook. "Report done."

"Your report and my song are not done!" Gustavo exclaimed, pointing from the Knight girl to himself before turning back to the guys. "Release the hounds. I need more time."

The guys made a run out of the studio back to the Palm Woods, probably to see Jo, but Dani knew she had her audition, so she decided to stay at Rocque Records.

After being left alone by herself for over an hour in the studio, Dani started feeling a little sick, so she decided to finally head back home.

As she made her way through the lobby, the sound of someone singing out by the pool caught her attention, making her stop in the doorway to find Carlos singing up to Jo.

Dani smiled while watching the boy, before a laugh escaped her mouth as she watched Kendall come charging at the Garcia boy, knocking him into the pool floaties by Logan as Kendall continued singing.

Dani sat and watched as the three boys fought over who was going to sing before Jo screamed.

"Hey, guys!" Jo yelled, causing them to stop. "Great song. But you should probably know that I have a boyfriend back home."

"What?"

"But we can still be friends, right?" Jo smiled.

"Yeah."

Dani turned around, going to make her way up to her apartment, when she stopped at the call of her name.

"Dani!" Carlos called, causing the girl to turn around with a smile. Slowly, she made her way over to the boys.

"Hey, that was quite the performance." Dani smirked.

"No, that was amazing!" Gustavo shouted, making his way to the group, followed by Ms. Knight and Freight Train with Katie on his shoulders. "It's not a slow love song; it's a fast love song. Katie, do not finish that report until I finish this song."

"Gustavo, do you mind if I take the rest of the day off?" Dani asked. "I'm not really feeling too hot."

"Sure, why not?" Gustavo said, causing the girl to smile slightly at him.

"Everything okay, Dani?" Logan asked, all the boys looking at her worried.

"Yeah, I'm just going to lay down." Dani replied, sending them one last smile before she turned and made her way back to the lobby.

"I'll come check on you later, honey." Ms. Knight called after her, causing Dani to send her an appreciative smile before she disappeared around the corner.

Once Dani hit her bed, she fell asleep almost instantly, and when she woke up the following morning, she turned up with a fever, so she called in.

She was sad that she couldn't make it to see the boys perform for Griffin, but she was grateful when Katie sent it to her.
