"Ah, another perfect day at the Palm Woods." James sighed happily, stepping out of the elevator first with Carlos at his side followed by Kendall who had his arm around Dani.

"Except for that." Carlos gasped, causing the group to stop in their tracks as they watched Logan and Camille fighting on the other side of the lobby.

"Parabolic microphone now!" Kendall demanded, causing Carlos to pull the object from his back.

The sound of laughter came through, causing the teens to look around confused.

"What was that?" Kendall asked.

"Sounded awful."

"Must be an interference." Dani informed the boys, causing them to nod. "Move it around a bit."

Dani quickly grabbed the device from the boy's hand before aiming towards the couple as their voices came through loud and clear.

"Well maybe you should date science, then!"

That was the only thing the group got from the conversation before Camille angrily turned away from Logan.

The sound of the audience gasping came through the microphone, making James hit the device before shushing it as Logan made his way towards his friends.

"All I did was cite recent data that concluded that overexposure with a partner or spouse increases the incidents of breaks-ups." Logan spoke, causing the others to raise their eyebrows.

"Mm-hmm." James hummed, nodding his head. "Small words."

"Please."

"I told Camille we need to limit our dates to two nights a week." Logan explained.

"Makes sense."

"Genius."

"Dat-a good."

"I know, right? She's being dramatic." Logan chuckled, making Dani look over his shoulder to see the brunette being approached by Jett. "I mean what is she gonna do? Date someone else."

"I mean, never say never, right?" Dani nervously chuckled, causing Logan raise an eyebrow before quickly turned around.

"Parabolic microphone now!" Logan exclaimed, causing the girl to hand it over.

"So since I hate eating alone and you need the exposure, how about dinner at Paparazzi tonight at 8?" Jett asked the Roberts girl.

"It's a date!"

Dani's eyes went wide as she glanced over at a shocked Logan.

"So I guess she is going to date someone else." Carlos spoke.

The laugh track caused the group to jump as they looked around while Logan stood there in shock looking at Camille and Jett.

"Quiet you!"

"Why does it keep doing that?"

"Look it doesn't matter, we have a more serious matter." Dani snapped, motioning to the frozen boy standing beside her.

"Dude, Camille just agreed to go on a date--" James started but was quickly cut off by Logan screaming as he plugged his ears, quickly walking away.

"LA-LA-LA-LA-LA-LA.."

"He's taking this well." Kendall sarcastically spoke, causing the others to agree.

"Kelly? Gustavo? What are you guys doing here?" Dani asked, noticing the duo approaching them.

"Rehearsals are canceled today."

"How come?" James asked.

"Because Gustavo's doctor ordered him to take a 24-hour break from the things that stress him out the most." Kelly informed the group.

"Oh? Griffin? Budgets? Writer's block?" Kendall questioned.

"You! You! Her! Him! And Logan!" Gustavo exclaimed, pointing at each of the teens standing in front of him, making the thing on his wrist flash red as it began beeping loudly.

"Ah! His watch is gonna blow!" Carlos cried, quickly ducking behind Kendall and James.

"It's a blood pressure monitor." Kelly stated, causing the Garcia boy to peek from between the boy's shoulders. "And it goes off when he's stressed, so-."

"Stay away from me for the next 24 hours!" Gustavo shouted, causing the group to hold their hands up.

"Don't worry we'll steer clear." Dani promised the producer and Kelly, causing them to leave.

"No rehearsal?" Carlos grinned, holding onto Kendall and James' shoulders. "That means I'm free to go out with a Jennifer."

The group turned their heads towards the pool area as the Jennifers made entrance into the lobby as the one in the middle turned and winked at Carlos before they disappeared out the front door.

Carlos quickly pushed the two boys out the way, causing Kendall to stumble into Dani as the Garcia boy placed his helmet on.

"Later boys. Bye Dani." Carlos bid, patting his helmet before racing after the Jennifers.

"You know, he might have a shot this time." James states, turning to face the couple, causing them to share a look before turning back to the Diamond boy.

"Until he burp asks her out." Kendall stated.

"Or he gives her a gift, which will turn out to be a frog." Dani added, making Kendall nod in agreement.

"I can't let that happen." James mumbled to himself. "Friendship powers activate!"

Dani and Kendall watched with amused looks on their faces as the boy put his fists together interlocking his fingers, before the boy turned rushing off towards the pool.

"You have some weird friends." Dani teased, patting the boy's chest when the duo noticed the red haired rocker making her way into the lobby. "Hey."

"Hey." Lucy muttered, walking past the couple, causing them to share a glance as they turned to look at the girl.

"Hey?" Kendall said.

"Hey!" Lucy sarcastically greeted, waving with a fake smile before she disappeared into the elevator.

"Hey!" The couple exclaimed.

Logan slammed his empty glass onto the counter once again, "Hit me again!" making Mama Knight pour a small shot of milk into the boys cup for the 20th time since Dani and Kendall made their way into the apartment. "Look, it's time to face the facts." He quickly downed the cup of milk before slamming it back onto the counter. "Camille and I are just too different, okay? I base decisions off logic, and Camille thinks my logic is stupid."

"Okay, but you do know there's no such thing as the perfect girlfriend." Kendall spoke.

"What do you know!" Logan exclaimed. "You have the perfect girlfriend. She's down for everything, you guys are similar and she bakes you things all of the time."

"I am far from perfect." Dani spoke, shaking her head. "Besides me and Kendall have things the other doesn't like but it's okay because we're meant to have our own thing. Sometimes you have to take the good with the--."

"Boo!" Logan exclaimed, interrupting the girl.

"This is why your girlfriend is going out with someone else!" Dani snapped, making Kendall pull her back.

"Well then, Mr. Logic, what are you gonna do?" Mama Knight asked. "Invent the perfect girlfriend?"

Logan began laughing sarcastically before going quiet as he looked off with his thinking face on.

Within a few hours Logan had created the 'perfect' robot girlfriend.

"Greetings, Logan. You are smart and hot like me. Let's go on a date." The robot spoke as it powered on, causing Logan to laugh in victory.

"It worked!" Logan cheered, turning to the trio to find them giving him a look, causing him to take his goggles off. "Is it too weird?"

"Completely." Kendall answered.

"And it's a little creepy." Dani added, causing Kendall to nod.

"But impressive." Mama Knight spoke.

"Oh, I know. I'll go on sciencematch.date and search for the perfect girlfriend." Logan announced.

"Sciencematch.date? That's a good one." Dani chuckled, causing Logan to raise his eye, making her stop. "Wait, that's a real thing?"

"Yup! She'll be just like me. Just not a robot."

"What?" The robot asked.

"Nothing." Logan replied, quickly grabbing his laptop before racing off to his room.

"Why don't you go talk to your girlfriend and work things out?" Dani called after the boy, causing him to wave at her before he disappeared, making the girl groan as she turned to Kendall.

"Since it seems we have a day off, what do you say, me and you go on a date?" Kendall suggested, smiling down at the blonde girl.

"I would love nothing more but I can't." Dani sent the boy a small smile. "Gustavo told one of his buddies that I'd sing at his restaurant tonight and I have nothing to wear so... raincheck?"

"Good luck." Kendall said, placing a quick kiss on the girl's lips, causing her to send Mama Knight a quick wave before she made her way out of the crib.

Dani had settled on wearing a dark blue sequined jumpsuit. With her arm looped around Gustvo's the duo made their way into the fancy restaurant called Chez Francee.

"Ah, Monsieur Rocque, welcome back." The hostess greeted the producer.

"Table for one, Jacques, in the corner where no one will bother me." Gustavo ordered, pointing to his giant wrist accessory making Dani chuckle. "It also needs to have an amazing view of the stage so I can have a clear view of my artist for when she brings the house down."

The man nodded before he spoke in french as he gestured for the man to follow after him.

"I'm gonna go check out the stage." Dani spoke, moving her arm.

"Fine, just don't do anything stupid. You go on in literally any second." Gustavo pointed at the girl, causing her to nod her head.

She broke away from the producer as she made her way to the stage watching an orchestra playing with a small smile on her face.

As she stepped back she felt someone crash into her.

"Sorry." They both said at the same time.

"Kendall?" Dani questioned, looking up at the boy confused.

"Dani! What are you doing here?" Kendall asked, quickly glancing at the brunette girl beside her before looking back to his girlfriend.

"Uh, I told you earlier Gustavo booked me a show." Dani stated, raising her eyebrow as she turned her attention to the girl. "Who's this?"

She studied the girl's face for a second before it hit her, causing her to gasp.

"Wait-" Dani started but was cut off as Kendall quickly covered the girls mouth as Lucy pointed at the girl with a glare before motioning for her to follow them.

"Okay, will someone tell me what's going on? And what's with the ugly wig?" Dani asked, glancing at Lucy's head, causing her to gasp as she touched her head.

"You see that couple over there at that table?" Lucy pointed, causing Dani to follow her direction to find a woman and a man sitting at a table near the stage making her nod. "Those are my parents and they think I study classical music at a conservatory."

"Yeah, but you don't do that." Dani stated confused.

"No but my parents don't know that and my friend here from the conservatory is just trying to blow my cover!" Lucy spoke, hitting the boy upside his head.

"Ow!" Kendall cried in pain. "I was just trying to help you!"

"Why don't you just pull my wig off while you're at it?" Lucy snapped. "Do you know what my parents did when they found out my brother dyed his hair and played drums."

"They accepted him as he was, told him they love him and gave him a big hug?" Dani stated, wrapping her arms around her boyfriend as they smiled at the Stone girl.

This time Lucy hit the Jennings girl upside the head, causing her to groan as she let go of the boy.

"They sent him to military school!" Lucy informed them, causing Dani's mouth to form an O. "And the guys are here."

"The guys are here too?" Dani asked, looking up at Kendall.

"Just Logan and Carlos." Kendall answered as someone stopped on the other side of Dani, causing her to glance over her shoulder. "And James, the mustachioed waiter."

"Hey, who's the--" James started before he gasped, making Lucy glare at the boy as she pointed at him while Kendall and Dani shhed the boy.

"Say one word, and you die." Lucy threatened.

Without another word James hurriedly walked away from the trio with a scared look on his face.

"Oh, can we get more rolls?" Kendall called after the boy and within seconds a roll was in his hand.

"Wow, the service here is great." Dani stated, sharing a look with Kendall as Lucy glared at them before she dragged Kendall back to the table with her parents.

"Hey, guys." Dani greeted, approaching the table that held Logan, Camille, Jett and an unknown girl.

"Hey."

"Dani." Jett flirtyly greeted, causing Camille to hit the boy on the arm.

"Logan, I didn't know you had a twin sister." Dani spoke, pointing at the girl dressed exactly like the boy.

"I don't!" Logan snapped through his gritted teeth. "This is my date Lindsay. Lindsay, this is my band mate Kendall's girlfriend Dani."

"That isn't weirder than the robot at all." Dani muttered to herself, smiling to the girl as she shook her hand. "I'm actually one of Logan's best friends and I know everything about him so if you need anything just let me know."

"Okay, you're done! Go away, please!" Logan shooed the girl in the other direction, making her chuckle.

"Now a special guest for your dining experience." A man spoke, from the stage, gaining everyones attention. "Chez Francee presents Danielle Jennings."

"Aw but we were just having fun."

Dani put a smile on her face as she made her way onto the stage as the room filled with light claps.

Dani grabbed the microphone from the man with a smile on her face, glancing to the man on the piano she nodded, causing the melody to fill her ears.

As the music faded the room filled with applause, causing the girl to grin as she bowed before stepping off of the stage.

"Hi." A man spoke, holding his hand out as he stepped in front of the girl. "Gary Reynolds."

"Dani Jennings." Dani introduced herself, shaking the man's hand.

"I know you probably don't know me but I'm working on this up and coming show and I'm over all of the music that goes into said show and I think the song you just sang would be just amazing." Gary explained. "I'm not sure how much I can say since we are still in the beginning process but what if I give you my card and you have your people get in touch with me and we'll discuss it some more."

"Y-yeah that would be great." Dani smiled, taking the man's card, shaking his hand again. "Thank you."

"No thank you."

Gary walked away, making Dani smile down at the card but her head quickly shot up at the sound of yelling.

"Mom, Dad. I'm out here writing songs and trying to be a rockstar." Lucy confessed, taking off the fake glasses.

"Oh, Lucy." Mrs. Stone gasped. "We are so disappointed."

"Well you shouldn't be. You should be proud." Dani spoke, wrapping her arm around the Stone girl as they shared a smile. "Lucy is one of the best musicians I've ever heard."

"In fact, we can prove it to you!" Kendall told them. "Right now!"

"We can?" The guys and Dani asked, appearing around the blonde girl as all four of them looked over at the blonde boy.

"Yes, as long as I get something to eat afterwards." Gustavo exclaimed, stumbling over to the group with his glasses crooked.

"Ladies and gentlemen, Big Time Rush with the talented Lucy Stone." Dani introduced the group with a smile, clapping her hands as she quickly made her way off the stage, taking a seat between Camille and Jennifer.

The entire group found themselves sharing a long table that Gustavo had the waiters put together while the boys and Lucy were on stage performing.

"This was a fun almost first date." Dani spoke, glancing over at the boy beside her making him smile at her.

"Well I'll make sure the real thing is even better." Kendall told the girl making her smile as she placed her hand on his.

"Huh?" Gustavo spoke from the end of the table, gaining everyone's attention. "My blood pressure is perfectly normal. Turns out I didn't need to spend time away from my dogs, I needed to spend quality time with my dogs."

That made the five teens smile at the producer.

"The check, Monsieur."

"Ah, thank you, Monsieur." Gustavo spoke, taking the check from the host before he walked away.

Gustavo made a sound freezing as he saw the check, soon after his blood pressure monitor began beeping like crazy as it flashed red, making the five teens jump to their feet.

Kendall began to fan the man, Carlos tried to take the check away from his hand, James stood behind him rubbing his temples, Logan was trying to airplane feed him his dessert, while Dani was trying to shut the monitor off.

"Just take the stupid thing off!"

"Now, give it up one more time for Danielle Jennings."

Dani smiled at the crowd,taking a quick breath before she began playing the keys.
