"This is tree hat. I repeat, this is tree hat. Is everybody in position?" Kendall questioned his walkie-talkie.

"Helpless old lady and her granddaughter ready." Logan confirmed, standing beside the blonde girl as he was dressed as an elderly lady.

"Purse snatched good to go." James spoke.

"Flowers are locked and loaded." Katie said, placing a vase of flowers on a table as she passed it.

"Copy that. Operation Get Carlos a girlfriend is under way." Kendall declared.

A few minutes had gone by before the group heard the signal.

"Come on, granny." Dani spoke, causing Logan to hook his arm through hers as he slowly walked. "We need to get you to your room for your nap."

"Oh dear, I'm just so old and frail, and my purse, it's just full of money." Granny announced, holding the purse out, causing James, the purse snatcher, to try and grab it from him.

"Someone help!" Dani called, causing Carlos to come running to the rescue.

"I'll save you!" Carlos said, ripping the purse from both of their hands before turning and punching Logan instead of James, causing Dani to cover her face as she tried not to laugh.

"Oh no, Granny!" Dani gasped as Carlos handed James the flowers before turning to the girl he was trying to impress and attempted to hand her the purse, causing her to run away screaming.

"Yeah, we probably should've rehearsed more." Kendall admitted, causing Dani to finally burst out in laughter as Carlos took the flowers from James and tried handing them to Logan.

"Really?"

"Hey, Dani."

The Jenning's girl's head popped up at the sound of her name, quickly glancing around the park until she found the source: Camille and Jo.

"Oh, hey, guys." Dani smiled as they took a seat on either side of her at the table.

"One blue smoothie." Jo offered, placing the drink in front of the girl.

"Why, thank you." Dani chuckled, glancing between the two girls as she took a sip. "So, any plans for today?"

"Well, I have an audition soon." Camille answered.

"And I was planning on going to ask Kendall to see that new romance movie with me tonight, Kiss and Tell." Jo admitted, causing Dani to slowly nod.

"Lovely," Dani said, sending the girl a smile.

"Hey, what are you doing? Maybe we could find you a date and you could come along!" Jo suggested, causing Camile to let out a gasp, making Dani quickly shake her head.

"Yes!" Camile exclaimed excitedly. "Maybe I could even find a date too, and we could do like a triple date."

"Yeah, I'll have to politely pass." Dani said, shaking her head. "Don't get me wrong. It would be fun to hang out, but I don't think I want to do it in a theater full of people making out. Especially if it's not with a guy that I li-."

"Were you going to say, like?" Camille gasped, causing Dani to quickly shake her head as Camille looked over to Jo. "Does our little Dani like someone?"

"I think she does." Jo teased, nodding with a grin as they turned back to the Jenning's girl. "Who is he? Do we know him?"

"It's stupid; forget I said anything." Dani muttered, causing the two to just give her a look as she let out a breath. "We had... this moment when we were singing together, and he made me feel like I was the only person in the room. I know that I shouldn't like him, but I do, and I know it's probably just some little crush that'll probably pass in a few days. Besides, he has a girlfriend."

"Oh. I think we know exactly who you're talking about." Camile said.

"You do?" Dani asked, lifting her eyebrow, causing both girls.

"Yeah. You're talking about Mac." Jo blurted out. "I mean, ever since you released your Christmas EP that's had your duet with Mac on it, you've been acting kind of different."

"Mac?" Dani questioned, sounding confused, causing Camile and Jo to lift an eyebrow. "Of course! Mac, he's the crush I'm talking about."

"I'm sure releasing a song brought up old feelings, but just because you have history doesn't mean he's the one." Camile explained, placing a supportive hand on the girl's arm with a small smile. "There's a guy out there for you,"

"Yeah."

"Hey, how come the guy's had to do three celebrity features and you only had one? I thought Kendall said you had two," Jo asked, causing Dani to slightly panic inside.

"Oh, yeah. No, Griffin, let me do the one and the two solos." Dani replied, forcing a smile. "There wasn't really any time, and there were literally no celebrities in town. Besides, Griffin has grown to love me."

"Shoot, I forgot my script." Camille interjected, gaining the duo's attention as she sent them a small smile. "I gotta run."

"I should get going too and get these to Kendall." Jo said, holding up two tickets before smiling at the girls. "See ya."

"Bye." Both girls called after the Taylor girl, causing her to smile back before turning and making her way to the big-time apartment.

"Hey, so my brother is coming to visit for a while, and I forgot I had this audition, and dad's working. Would you like, be able to keep an eye out for him at the Palm Woods?" Camille asked, turning to her best friend with a grin.

"Yeah, sure." Dani said, nodding her head with a smile. "I didn't know you had a brother."

"Yeah, a couple. Charlie stayed back home with our mom so he could finish school with his friends." Camille explained, causing Dani to nod.

"Good for him." Dani smiled. "What's bringing him to LA?"

"He's always wanted to try out acting, but he's always been more into his martial arts." Camille explained, causing Dani to make a surprised face. "And so he's got this part in a movie that's all about martial arts."

"Nice." Dani nodded, impressed. "I'll definitely keep an eye out for him while I sit in the lobby and make a list of all the movies I'll be watching alone tonight."

"Or-" Camille started but cut off as Dani lifted her hand.

"No." Dani smiled, holding her hand up as the brunette went to say something again. "Goodbye, Camille."

"Come on, it'll be fun." Camille called after the girl, causing her to shake her head as she chuckled as she walked away from her. "We're going the same way."

"Good luck with your audition." Dani said, waving to the girl with a grin before also making her way to the Palm Woods.

Dani sat with her legs crossed on the Palm Woods couch with a notebook in hand.

"Danisaurus." Kendall called, causing the girl to look up, seeing him with Jo and Carlos.

"Kendork." Dani said, smiling at the blonde before looking at the other two. "What are you three up to?"

"They're going to help me find a double date for Kiss and Tell tonight." Carlos announced, excitedly.

"What are you doing?" Jo asked.

"I told Camille I would look out for her brother while she was away at her audition." Dani said, looking over the clock. "He should be here any minute."

"Well, if you would like to join us after you're done with the kid, we'll be out by the pool." Kendall explained, causing the girl to nod and sending the group a smile.

"Will do. Good luck, Carlos." Dani said, smiling at the boy.

"Thanks Dani." Carlos smiled before the other two led the boy toward the pool.

Dani sat back down to herself as she continued her movie list when the sound of talking got her attention.

"Welcome to the Palm Woods; how can I help you?" Bitters greeted as he smiled at a boy whose back was the only thing Dani could see.

"Yeah, my dad and sister live here. Last name is Roberts. Randy and Camille."

"I'm sorry, but I cannot give out information for our residents." Bitters explained, smiling at the boy.

"Sorry, don't mean to interrupt." Dani said as she approached the front desk.

"By all means." Bitters guestured toward the boy before he quickly made his way back into his office.

"Good talk." The boy called after Bitters, causing Dani to let out a chuckle.

"Don't mind Bitters. He pretends to hate everyone." Dani said, turning to the boy with a smile.

"Charlie." The boy introduced himself, extending his hand out towards the girl.

"It's nice to meet you, Charlie. I'm Dani."

"Ah, so you're the famous Dani; Cami doesn't stop talking about you when she comes home." The boy smirked as he slowly let go of her hand. "Well, I assure you, the pleasure is all mine."

Dani playfully rolled her eyes before she took a seat on the couch.

The boy glanced around the lobby before he looked down at the blonde girl. "Not to sound rude or anything, but do you know where my sister is?"

"Oh, she didn't tell you. She's had an audition to get to." Dani informed the boy, causing the boy to nod. "She should be back soon."

"No worries." Charlie shrugged, taking a seat beside the girl. "So, Miss Dani, tell me about yourself."

"Well, what do you want to know?" Dani asked, turning her body to face the body.

"Well, first off, are you single?" Charlie questioned, causing the girl to chuckle, making him smile at her. "Kidding. What are some of your hobbies? Favorite things to do here?"

"Well, I'm a singer and songwriter, so you can usually always find me with my book. Pastimes... If you would have asked me a year ago, I would have probably said, watching movies alone in my apartment."

"And now?" Charlie asked.

"Now I have four best friends who keep me on my toes. You never know what's going to happen with them around, but it always ends in great fun." Dani explained, smiling at the thought.

"Sounds like a blast." Charlie said, smiling at the girl.

"Oh, you're in for a treat." Dani smirked as a group of teens came rushing from the pool. "Welcome to the Palm Woods, Charlie."

Dani decided to give the Roberts boy a grand tour of the Palm Woods.

"Finally, this is the beautiful Palm Woods Pool." Dani gestured toward the usually packed pool. "Everyone usually comes here to rewind after their long days. You know after being in the studio, on set, or whatever all day long."

"Seems chill." Charlie said, nodding his head as he looked around the pool area as he followed the blonde back to the lobby.

"There you guys are." Camille smiled, approaching the duo as they entered the lobby.

"I was just giving Charlie here a tour of the Palm Woods," Dani explained.

"But he's already seen the Palm Woods Woods... a few times." Camille said, causing the two girls to look up at the boy.

"What can I say? I wanted to get to know you better." Charlie smiled down at the blonde girl, causing the girl to blush. "Actually, I've been hearing people talk about this movie all day that's apparently playing tonight. Would you want to go with me? Unless you're busy."

"She isn't, actually." Camille injects, smirking at her blonde friend.

"Uh, sure." Dani agreed, smiling at the boy. "Sounds like fun."

"Great, I'll pick you up at 6." Charlie said, smiling at the girl, before he walked away with his sister. "Bye."

"Bye."

"Who's the new hunk?" Katie asked, popping up beside Dani as they watched the siblings walk away.

"Camille's brother." Dani answered.

"Nice!" Katie said, nodding her head.

...

The sound of knocking echoed through the blonde girl's apartment, causing her to let out a breath as she opened the door to reveal Charlie.

"Hi," Dani greeted, smiling at the boy.

"Hey." Charlie said, smiling back before snapping out of his thoughts. "You ready to go?"

"Yeah, let's do it." Dani nodded, stepping out of her apartment and closing the door as the two walked side by side down the hallway and out of the Palm Woods.

Once they made it to the movie theater, Dani noticed her four sad best friends.

"Hey, could you give me a sec?" Dani asked, looking from the boys to Charlie.

"Yeah, sure. I'll get the snacks." Charlie said, causing the girl to smile at the boy before she headed to her four favorite guys.

"What's with the sad looks?" Dani questioned, causing the four boys to look over at the girl. "Night not going as planned?"

"All of our dates kind of left us." Logan explained, causing Dani to let out a chuckle as she shook her head.

"You look nice. What are you doing here?" Kendall asked. "I thought you only watched movies at home."

"Why thank you. I'm actually on a date." Dani admitted, causing the boys to stop in their tracks.

"You. On a date?" James questioned, causing the girl to nod.

"Who's the lucky guy?" Carlos asked.

"Hey, I got the snacks. Also, the girl at the snack counter said the previews were about to start." Charlie informed the girl, approaching the group as he held a tray in his hands. "Maybe we should go grab a seat before all the good ones are gone."

"Yeah, sure." Dani agreed, but before they moved anywhere, the four boys began to cough loudly, causing Dani to glare at them as Charlie looked at them with a smile. "Guys, this is Charlie, Camille's brother. Charlie, these are the four friends I was telling you about. That's James, Kendall, Carlos, and Logan."

"We're her best friends, actually." James corrected the girl, causing her to playfully roll her eyes.

"It's nice to meet you guys." Charlie smiled, causing the boys to just stare at him. "Okay... we should get going."

"Yeah," Dani said, looking back over to the boys. "I'll see you guys later."

Dani sent the guys a smile before Charlie led the girl away.

Dani glanced over her shoulder one last time, locking eye contact with the blonde boy, causing her to send him a small smile as he sent a small wave and smile before they were all out of her sight.
