Apartment 2K is where Dani Jennings calls home.

Her two-bedroom apartment at the Palm Woods is where she has grown and made friends for the last two years while living on her own.

She had a weekly routine of baking, hanging out with her best friend Camille at least three times a week, and spending the rest of her week alone in her apartment or at the studio.

All that changed when Gustavo came back to LA with the four hockey players from Minnesota. The boys never allow Dani to spend the day alone, and they always somehow pull her into their crazy schemes.

Dani was placing cookies on a plate to take to the boys after her night of baking that she did every week. She made her way out of her apartment to apartment 2J when she saw Bitters exit with a slam of the door and what sounded like something falling and breaking on the floor on the other side of the door.

"Cookie." Dani offered, holding out the plate towards Bitters.

"Well if you insist." Mr. Bitters smiled, grabbing a cookie. "Have a Palm Woods day."

Bitters quickly made his way down the hall as Dani walked into the boy's crib. The girl quickly stopped in her tracks, noticing the four boys standing in front of her, soaking wet.

"Hey, guys... Pipe just burst?" Dani asked, causing them all to nod.

"Cookies!" Carlos gasped, grabbing the plate from the girl with a big grin. "Thanks, Dani."

"You're welcome." Dani chuckled.

"We need a new crib." Kendall stated, causing the guys nod in agreement.

"With a swirly slide!" Carlos interjects, talking with a mouth full of cookies which caused the girl to chuckle.

"Yeah, right, like that's just going to fall from the sky." Logan snapped.
...

"We call it the ultimate teen crib." The female designer announced, pointing at the diagram which caught the guy's attention. "Filled with amazing home electronics, arcade games..."

"A swirly slide!" Carlos exclaimed, pointing at the picture with a shocked face.

"Cool right?" Griffin asked, causing the guys to nod excitedly. "Put a swirly slide in my office."

"Griffin, I don't know what this is, but I need to work with the dogs on harmonies today." Gustavo stated.

"Change your plans." Griffin said, turning to producer. "Our ancient Japanese founder, Mr. Fujizaki, wants to dump our music division. But your boys are going to change his mind."

"And we get to live there?" Kendall asked, pointing at the diagram.

"Yes..."Griffin replied. "For two hours. But you have to do a promotional video, surrounded by RCM/CBT/GlobalNet/Sanyoid products, which will show Fujizaki why our future rock stars are perfect for selling his blenders, plasma TVs, and missile defense systems." As he walked to the other side of the table and sat down. "Oh, and do some interviews. You know, why they love to sing, why they wear that helmet, and why they love RCM/CBT/GlobalNet/Sanyoid arcade games, industrial-strength playgrounds slides, and the new xz5 micro laptop. Look how tiny."

"And we could all wear bandanas." James explained. "It could be our thing. Bandanas."

"Not everyone can rock a bandana, James." Dani stated.

"Griffin, you can't keep coming into my studio every day and interrupting my training sessions." Gustavo protested.

"Yes, I can." Griffin spoke. "And do the interviews by the water. Fujizaki thinks water is lucky. It's weird."

"But you want a performance in the teen hangout crib thing?" Kelly asked.

"Exactly, and I need it in two days, or the music division will be gone. But have fun with it."

"Okay, we'll build the teenage crib here in studio A, and I can put in some calls for a hot director." Kelly spoke, pulling out her phone.

"I can find a nice beach location for the interviews." Dani added, standing up beside Gustavo, causing him to push her right back down.

"I'm a hot director. And we're doing everything here, because it's easier, quicker, and cheaper. You, I want to show you where you're going to build this thing."

Gustavo walked away with Kelly and the designer lady behind him.

"What am I supposed to do now." Dani said, letting out a sigh.

"You can help us." Kendall answered, causing the other guys nod in agreement.

"What the heck. It can't be that bad." Dani shrugged, causing the boys to share a smirk. "Right?"

Dani stood in front of the boys with her arms crossed, watching them stare back forth from their apartment to the picture of the 'teen crib'.

"No!" Dani snapped, shaking her head. "No way. It's impossible!"

"A week ago, we were a hockey team in Minnesota." Kendall explained, handing the diagram to Logan, walking over towards the Jennings girls a he placed a hand on her shoulder. "And today we're a band in L.A. anything is possible."

"Okay you have a point.' Logan agreed, before pointing to the picture in his hand. "But how are you going to get all this in here?"

"Take any color," James spoke, pulling out his bandanas.

"We're not wearing bandanas in the video, okay!" Kendall snapped.

"You know what? You guys never support my risky fashion choices."

"Probably because they're stupid." Dani stated, pushing his arm back towards him, causing him to gasp as Dani turned to Kendall. "Just like this idea of turning your apartment into the teen crib."

"Now, the first step is getting the step designer to build the ultra-teen crib here and not at Rocque Records." Kendall announced, ignoring the girl, causing her to let out a groan.

"Yeah, that's simple." Logan said, sarcastically as James put on a bandana. "And how are we going to do that?"

"Logan, are you forgetting that the Palm Woods is home of the future famous?" Kendall questions.

The five teens made their way to the Palm Woods lobby, when Kendall held his arms up in front of the other four. "Wait for it."

Soon Camille approached the group, fake crying, quickly slapping Kendall across the face. "Trevor, I trusted you with my heart, my soul, my money!"

"Camille!" Kendall called, cutting her off.

"What?" Camille asked, as she quickly stopped acting.

"We need to borrow your acting." The guys said, causing Dani to roll her eyes at the boys.

"Sure."

....

Dani was waiting nervously outside of the warehouse with the boys for Camille, who went to talk with the set designer.

The sound of Kendall's phone rang out all the teens on edge.

"What do I do?" Kendall freaked out.

"Answer it!" Dani snapped, causing the boy to quickly pick it up, pretending to work at Griffin's office.

"One moment please." Kendall spoke, covering the phone as he turns to Logan. "Do your Griffin impression."

"Griffin impression?" Dani questioned confused, but her question went unanswered as Kendall put the phone into Logan's hand, stomping on the boys foot causing him to yell in pain.

"Hello?" Logan spoke, making his voice sound deeper. "Yes. Move the set to the Palm Woods, now. Okay, now I need to touch my llama now. Bye."

"Yes!" The other three guys cheered.

"I owned them in there." Camille exclaimed.

"All you've done is set us up for big-time trouble." Logan exclaimed, pointing towards Kendall and Camille.

"He's right." Dani nodded, pointing at the boy next to her. "This isn't going to end well."

"Oh, our little Logey, so pessimistic." Kendall said, patting the boys cheek.

"And so hot." Camille commented, staring at him dreamingly, causing him to look over at her in shock, making Dani chuckle at her friends bluntness.

"I'm not scared. I'm realistic. As in, what are you going to tell your mom about the crew that'll be invading the apartment tomorrow from 11:00 to 3:00?"

....

The next morning, Dani was called into Rocque Records to help set up for the interviews.

Dani walked in to find Gustavo 'practicing' his shots in front of a horrible backdrop with a fake seagull 'flying'.

"You cannot shoot against this." Kelly said, stepping in front of the backdrop.

"Yes, I can."

"Fujizaki is going to know that water is fake." Dani spoke up, causing him to turn and face the girl. "Also this looks horrible, Gustavo."

"Fujizaki is 200 years old. All he knows is what yogurt he likes!" Gustavo snapped. "Oh, yeah, and I say do!"

"We could always just take the equipment and take it down to the beach." Kelly said, showing Gustavo pictures.

"Heel." Gustavo commanded, holding his hand up, making Dani look up to see the boys. "Stay. Speak."

"We took some pictures at the Palm Woods, the greatest pool ever, very lucky water." Kendall said, handing over a picture of the Palm Woods pool to Kelly. "It's a great location for the interviews."

"Hot directors shoot there all the time. Swirly Slide!" Carlos exclaimed, causing James to smack him in the back of the head.

"Oh, dogs are directing my video now. Well, let me tell you how it works here. You are the dogs, I am the trainer. Now, sit."Gustavo commanded, which made the boys stand still and look at Gustavo. "Don't sit."

That caused the boys to sit on the back of the couch, causing Dani to let out a light chuckle.

"This pool looks great." Kelly said, holding up the pictures, as she made her way to stand beside Carlos. "And it's close enough that we could be back here by 3:00 to shoot the performance at the ultra-teen hangout place."

"You do as I say, and I say no!" Gustavo exclaimed, as he jumped up and down until everything fell over. "Hey, let's do the interviews at the Palm Woods."

....

At the Palm Woods pool, Dani was standing with the boys as they got their makeup done. Soon Bitters rushed by towards his office after Kelly gave him a check and Katie popped up between Kendall and James.

"The bird is in the cage, and the Jennifer's are in place." Kate explained, showing Kendall her text.

"Okay, team, remember your mission." Kendall spoke, causing the four boys to jump out of their chairs as Camille and Katie made their way beside Carlos and Dani between Kendall and Logan. "James you stall Gustavo. Carlos, Katie, and Camille, you head to Rocque Records and fake build the ultra-teen crib while Logan, Dani, and I install the swirly slide and all those other electronic goodies."

"Okay, James is up first." Gustavo said, putting his hands into a shooting expression. "I'll shoot the rest of you dogs later. Also Dani, make sure you keep an eye on the other dogs until I need them."

"Got it." Dani nodded.

Kendall turned to the group of teens as he put on face paint. "Move Out!"

They all made their way in different directions to complete their parts of the mission, but Dani noticed that Logan was still standing in the same spot nervous.

"Come on." Dani said, grabbing his arm, dragging him away as they followed after Kendall to the bush in front of the Palm Woods.

"Was the eye black really necessary?" Logan questioned, pointing to the black lines under his eyes.

"No." Dani answered, shaking her head as she was the only one out of the three not wearing it. "Was the tree hats really necessary?"

"Yes!"Both boys exclaimed, turning to the girl that was between them.

"The music really sets the tone don't you think?" Kendall asked, holding up the music player that was playing spy-themed music, causing Dani to quickly reach over and pause it.

"Idiots." Dani muttered to herself.

Dani watched both boys quickly run away from behind the bush, doing a spin before racing to the door backward; Dani stood up from her squatting position and walked into the front door of the Palm Woods.

"Jennifer you're up." Kendall told the brunette girl as Dani approached the three.

"Just to be clear." Jennifer spoke, holding her hand up, stopping Kendall. "We get to be in the video, which will be seen by a lot of people, right?"

"Are you kidding." Kendall said.

"It's going to be seen in Japan." Dani announced, causing the boys to nod in agreement before they both quickly dragged Dani away to hide behind another plant.

The trio watched as the design team walked into the Palm Woods.

"I still say this is a bad idea." Logan spoke, standing up once the team disappeared onto the elevator.

"Hey, a life without risk is a life unlived, my friend." Kendall smiled, as he put his finger in the air. "Now off to apartment 2J."

Kendall once again ran off ahead of the others, while Dani waited behind Logan, knowing the boy wasn't going to move.

"Come on." Dani said, putting her hands on his shoulders, pushing him after Kendall toward the elevator.

"So far so good," Kendall announced, causing both boys to move their ears away from the door. "Look, I told you guys there was nothing to worry about."

Logan's phone rang, causing his eyes to get huge when he looked at the number. "It's the set designer. I'm worried."

Kendall took the phone from Logan, quickly answering it as he tried giving it back but Logan protested, making Kendall once again step on his foot, causing Logan to grab the phone.

"Hello?" Logan answered, putting the phone on speaker so all three of teens could hear.

"Yeah, the room's too small." the lady announced. "So, if you want the swirly slide to fit, we're gonna have to bust into the ceiling. Is that okay?"

Dani snatched the phone from Logan, covering the phone. "No, no. absolutely not! We'll be arrested!"

"Uh, sir can we demolish the ceiling?" The voice rang from the phone, causing Dani to pass it back to Logan as he looked to Kendall shook his head.

"Yes." Logan answered, turning to Kendall. "You better be right about this taking a risk thing."

"Fire in the hole!" Someone yelled from the other side of the door, suddenly the entire Palm Woods began to shake, causing Logan to jump into Kendall's arms.

"Have I ever told you guys that you were idiots?" Dani questioned, causing Logan to jump out of Kendall's arms.

"You may have mentioned it, once or twice." Kendall said, sending the girl a big smile.

"More like five times." Logan corrected Kendall, letting out a sigh. "... today."

"Well you guys are idiots! Especially for this." Dani said, gesturing towards their apartment that was currently being demolished. "I mean seriously, do you honestly need to go through all of this trouble just to redo your apartment."

"Yes!" Both boys exclaimed as the Jennifer's approached from the stairs behind them.

"Code Red, Code Red!" The Brunette Jennifer exclaimed, causing the boys to quickly turn around. "Bitters is on his way up here. What is going on up here?"

"Please tell me you guys are good at teen scream horror flicks?" Kendall asked.

"They're desperate." Dani added, sending a pleading smile.

"We want talking parts in your next three videos. You do all our ironing for the next month. And we sing backup on your next track."

"Done." Logan agreed.

"Where's the ketchup?" Blonde Jennifer sighed.

"Follow me." Dani said, walking into the apartment directly across from the boys followed by the Jennifer's.

Not even a minute later, the Jennifer's exited the apartment as they ran down the hall.

"Why didn't you tell us you lived directly across from us?" Logan questioned, pointing between the two apartments.

"You guys never asked." Dani shrugged, spotting Bitters. "Get in."

Dani pulled both boys into her apartment, quickly shutting the door behind them, pressing her ear up against the door as she listened to the Jennifer's scream from the hall as it started fading.

They trio poked their heads out in time to see Bitters chasing after the Jennifer's towards the stairs.

"They're good."

"Alright, I will meet you two in the lobby in five. I have something I need to do." Dani said, pushing the boys out of her apartment. "Bye, bye."

....

Dani finally made her way out of her apartment, spotting someone dressed head to toe in bandanas.

He took the mask off revealing his face.

"James?" Dani called, causing the boy to quickly look at her, making him wave at her with a smile, before he quickly rushed to take the rest of the bandana costume off. "I'm not even going to ask."

The sound of Gustavo's scream filled the hall as he and Kelly made their way down the hall, the rest of Big Time Rush following after them as they all made their way into 2J with James and Dani following in tow.

"What!" Gustavo screamed, standing in the center of the room shocked beside the designer, Kelly, and Dani.

Logan was twirling in a spinning chair, James was jumping on the couch, Kendall was at the foosball machine, and Carlos was at the top of the swirly slide with Katie.

"Yeah, it came out really good, huh?" The designer asked.

"It came out amazing!" Kendall answered, happily.

"Swirly Slide!" Carlos exclaimed, going down the slide with Katie.

"There's no time to move the set back to the studio." Kelly spoke, turning to Gustavo, who couldn't speak.

"And the video has to be great for Fujizaki, or we are all out of a job." Dani reminded the man.

Gustavo let out a grunt, making his way over to Kendall, grabbing the boy by the shoulders. "Light it and shoot it!"

....

'Got to live it big time'

"Cut! Print! And strike the set!" Gustavo called, within seconds things were being taken down.

"No, where are they going with that?" Kendall asked as all the boys watched sadly. "Where are you going with that?"

"Back to the warehouse." The designer answered.

"Oh, I'm sorry, did you dogs think you were gonna get to keep this?" Gustavo asked, sarcastically, letting out a fake laugh. "Oh, that's really, really good. The little dogs thought they outsmarted the big dog."

Soon the apartment went back to looking like it did in the beginning, a boring brown color with its unknown holes in the walls and stains on the floor.

All the boys took a seat on the couch, causing it to lean over, breaking the legs.

"I do have to admit, we did get some pretty great stuff today." Gustavo said, making a frame with his hands. "Let's just hope Fujizaki thinks so tomorrow."

Gustavo, Kelly, and the rest of the crew turned, making their way out of the apartment, slamming the door behind them.

Dani turned to face the four
boys with a sad smiles, watching as they glanced around the apartment.

"I can't believe it's all gone." Kendall sighed.

"Swirly." Carlos cried.

"I'm sure you guys will get your ultra-teen crib someday." Dani said, causing the boys to look up at her. "I mean, no matter how stupid your ideas may be, you guys deserve something in return for all your hard work and dedication to this band."

"Thanks, Dani." Logan smiled, standing up. "At least, we have one person who believes in us."

"And will take part in our schemes." James added, getting up. "No matter how stupid they are."

"And makes us cookies." Carlos excitedly points out, jumping up from his seat, causing the girl to chuckle. "No matter how much we annoy you."

"They're right." Kendall stands, placing his arm around the girl's shoulder. "You have been here for us since we've gotten to this town, no matter how much we act like idiots. So having an ultra-teen crib or not, we are glad we have you as a friend."

"Of course, I'll be here for you guys." Dani spoke, looking around at the boys.

Dani was soon pulled into a group hug by the boys.

....

The next day, the group watched Fujizaki on a monitor as he watched the music video/interviews.

As the video ended, all eyes went from one screen to the other as they waited for an answer from the old man.

"I like the boys."

Those four words caused everyone in the room to begin cheering.

The boys thanked all of the business people as they made their way out of Rocque Records as Griffin stayed along with his team.

"I've never seen Fujizaki more excited. Frankly, I think it's the first I've seen him move." Griffin told the group, before placing a hand on Gustavo's shoulder. "You were a good boy today, Gustavo. Good boy."

Griffin patted Gustavo's head as he were a dog, before he turned to leave with his team following behind.

Dani, Gustavo, and Kelly, slowly turned to face the boys.

"So, we learned a lot here today, didn't we?" Kendall asked, causing all of the boys to smile at the producer. "You did some things. We did some things."

"Ten hours of harmonies! No breaks! Move Out!" Gustavo exclaimed, pointing towards the studio.

The boys all dropped their heads as they walked out of the room towards the studio.

Dani went to follow behind the boys but was stopped by Gustavo.

"Jennings, I have something I need you to do." Gustavo spoke, causing Kelly to smile from beside him.

"I'm listening."

....

Dani was sitting on the bright orange couch next to Mama Knight when the boys walked in with heads down.

"Hey!" Katie and Dani called out.

"Well, I love what you've done with the place." Mama Knight complimented, causing the boys to look up, finally noticing the crib back to the teen crib, causing them to cheer before they raced over to the foosball table, and Katie jumped onto the couch beside Dani.

"Uh..." Gustavo started, walking into

Dani was sitting on the bright orange couch next to Mama Knight when the boys walked in with heads down.

"Hey!" Katie and Dani called the guys.

"Well, I love what you've done with the place." Mama Knight said as the boys cheered and raced to the foosball table, and Katie jumped onto the couch beside Dani.

"Uh..." Gustavo started as he walked into the apartment with Kelly, causing the boys to turn around as Dani joined her boss. "Good job today."

"This is awesome," Kendall admitted.

"This is a bone." Gustavo corrected, taking off his sunglasses.

"Come again?" Logan asked, confused.

"I realized today, sort of, that if you really want to train dogs properly, you need to throw them a treat now and then," Gustavo explained. "So, enjoy your treat. You're not getting anymore."

"And we lost a day of rehearsals because of the shoot, so it's at the studio, 7:30 a.m.," Kelly explained, looking from the boys to the blonde beside her. "That means you too, Dani."

"Of course." Dani said, smiling at the group in front of her. "As long as I have a cocoa machine at Rocque Records, I'll be there."

"We'll be there, no problem." Kendall said, causing the others to nod.

"We promise, no more surprises!" Carlos promised, and suddenly the sound of someone banging on the wall came from behind Gustavo, and Dani made her way to the boys.

Soon, Bitters fell to the ground, covered in dust, as he stood and looked at the changes in the apartment.

"You've altered this room. You've completely devastated this apartment." Bitters said, looking around.

"You locked him in a supply closet?" Logan asked, turning towards James.

"No." James denied it, holding up a purple bandana. "Bandana man did."

"So glad I didn't ask." Dani said, shaking her head at the boy as he nodded.

"This is a total lease violation!" Bitters exclaimed, noticing the swirly slide. "Man, cool swirly slide. I want all of you out of here tomorrow!"

"What if I add another grand to your 'making it happen' fee?" Kelly asked, tearing out a check and handing it to Bitters.

"Have a Palm Woods day, everyone. Enjoy your stay," Bitters said, quickly leaving the room.

The boys quickly turned back to the foosball table that was in the center of the room.

"You like them." Dani teased, looking from the boys over to Gustavo. "They're not like other bands you've produced, are they?"

"They're dogs, and I am training them." Gustavo said, correcting the girl, putting his sunglasses back on, making the girl chuckle as he exited the apartment with Kelly following behind. "I don't like them!"

"It seems like you got your ultra-teen crib after all." Dani spoke, smiling, as the boys turned to face her. "I told you guys you would."

"Did you do this?" Kendall asked.

"I helped set it all back up." Dani admitted, shrugging her shoulders. "It wasn't my idea though; it was all Gustavo. I'm glad he did.

"Want to play some foosball with us?" Carlos asked, pointing towards the foosball table.

"I would love to." Dani smiled, causing the boys to cheer as she joined them.
