One of Dani's favorite things in the world besides her friends, family, and her job was Christmas time.

Dani grew up in a home where Christmas was the only time of year where she and her family actually spent time together. When her mom wasn't working and she and Luca were on winter break,.

Dani walked through the Palm Woods lobby with her head down, songbook and pencil in hand, as she hummed a melody to herself.

"Dani!" The four boys exclaimed, scaring the girl, causing her to jump as she looked up at the smiling boys.

"Holy crap, you scared me." Dani gasped, placing her hand over her heart, noticing the boy's dressed in Christmas hats and Logan in a cart. "I see you boys are in the Christmas spirit. Getting ready to head home for the holidays?"

"You know it," James grinned, causing the other three to nod.

"In less than 24 hours, we'll be back home in Minnesota." Carlos excitedly said, causing the boys to cheer, making Dani chuckle.

"What about you, Dani?" Logan questioned, looking at the girl. "Any Christmas plans for you and Luca?"

"Actually, Luca went back home." Dani informed the group. "Mom wanted him home in time for the holidays."

"And you?" Kendall questioned. "Are you going home for the holidays?"

"I don't think so." Dani shook her head, causing the boys smiles to drop. "I'll probably stay here... like I have every year."

"You mean you stay here? alone. On Christmas!" Logan exclaimed, causing the girl to nod.

"It's not as bad as it sounds." Dani chucked, shrugging her shoulders. "I sit curled up on my couch in my pajamas and watch Christmas movies and cartoons all day while I drink hot cocoa."

"You do that everyday!"

"Yeah, what about the decorations, the music, and the presents?" Carlos excitedly asked. "What about being surrounded by family and friends?"

"Don't get me wrong, I love doing all of the above, but you can't really do any of it when you don't really talk to your family. But don't worry; I'll be fine, guys. I always am."

"Well, you stay right there until you get your Christmas gift." Kendall smiled, causing the four boys to scramble through their bags frantically.

"Got it!" James exclaimed happily, pulling out a wrapped gift from his bag, causing the other three to groan as the girl chuckled. "Here you are."

"You guys didn't have to get me anything." Dani pouted as she slowly took the gift from the boys.

"Yeah, yeah, open it." Logan ushered, urging the girl to open the box.

"Okay, okay." Dani teased, letting out a chuckle as she cautiously handed her songbook to Kendall before she turned her attention back to the gift in her hand, carefully unwrapping it. "Aw, guys. I love it."

In her hands, Dani looked down with a small smile at a framed picture of the five teens smiling, a couple months after meeting.

"We put it in the frame and everything." Carlos explained, making the boys nod with grins. causing the girl to smile.

"I will cherish it forever." Dani said, smiling at the group in front of her. "I got to run. I have a Christmas song to finish. I'll catch you guys later."

Dani sent the group one last smile with a wave before she quickly made her way away from the boys.

The boys all quickly leaned towards Kendall as he smirked, lifting the songbook up to open it when it was snatched from his hands, causing them to let out a small yelp.

"I can't forget this." Dani said, waving her book. "Bye, guys."

"So close." James groaned once the girl was out of earshot and out of view.

Dani sat with her legs across the couch, humming to herself as she sat in the lobby area outside of Gustavo's office.

Dani's head quickly snapped to Gustavo's door as it swung open. Kelly emerged, followed by a packed Gustavo, who was on his way to Fiji as the boys approached.

"Dogs, let's make this quick... Because I'm going to Fiji for the holidays. Okay, it's not my best song ever, but who cares? I'm going to Fiji!"

"Well, we just wanted to give you this." Kendall explained as James pulled a gift from behind his back.

"We ordered it special." Carlos informed the man.

"Ooh-hoo-hoo." Gustavo grinned, ripping the package open, causing his smile to quickly disappear. "Pajamas? Really?"

"Every Christmas, we wear our PJs all day long," Kendall stated.

"It's our holiday tradition." James added.

"Yeah, I'm not doing that." Gustavo said, dropping the pajamas on the ground.

"And this is for you." Logan grinned, handing a gift to Kelly.

"Oh, it's a..." Kelly trailed off, confused, opening it. "Panini Alarm Clock. Just what I always wanted."

"Or..." Logan stuttered out as their smiles all faded away, quickly rummaging through the bags they had.

"We could offer you this pig watering can," James said.

"Ooh, or this rock star nutcracker." Carlos excitedly offered, mimicking the thing in his hands.

"I'll stick with this." Kelly smiled, holding the panini alarm clock to her chest, causing the boy's to cheer in success.

"So what'd you get us?" Kendall asked, causing the boys to smile eagerly at Gustavo.

"That is a surprise." Gustavo replied, turning to Kelly. "Kelly, get them something surprising for Christmas and ship it to them. Now, let's start the holidays!"

That group cheered as they made their way down the hallway but quickly stopped as Griffin approached the group with his assistant following behind him.

"Great news, everyone. I've decided to release a Big Time Rush Christmas EP." Griffin announced. "Since it will bring your fans lots of holiday joy and me lots of holiday money."

"So, what are you putting some extended mixes in some Christmas packaging?" Dani asked, standing up from the couch as she approached the group.

"No, I'm putting Christmas songs in Christmas packaging." Griffin responded.

"Uh, we haven't recorded any Christmas songs." Gustavo pointed out.

"Well, then you better get started because no one's going anywhere until I get my Holiday song." Griffin demanded.

"What?!"

Gustavo threw his luggage to the ground as the boys began complaining. Everyone followed closely behind Gustavo and Griffin into the dance studio.

"Three Christmas songs and make our flights by tonight?" Gustavo exclaimed, throwing his hat to the ground. "It can't be done!"

"Five Christmas songs; I want Dani to release two herself as well." Griffin corrected the man. "And sure, it can. It's called a Christmas miracle."

"Ooh, like me getting kissed by the Jennifer's today?" Carlos gasped.

"I heard this old lady lost her artificial leg, right, and then found it the next morning in her stocking." James stated.

"See." Griffin smiled, motioning to the teens. "And I want the songs available for download tonight. Now, since it's Christmas Eve, I'm off to the office to fire some people. I'll check in with you later."

Griffin turned and quickly left the room.

"We should do this." Kendall spoke up. "I think it'd be nice to give our fans a Christmas gift."

"I can't write five songs in three hours." Gustavo exclaimed.

"Three songs." Dani corrected the man. "Don't worry, I can handle my own. Besides, I have one almost done. I can easily write another. Besides, weren't you the one who wrote a Christmas song in like five seconds or something?"

"She's right." Kelly said, making her way to the wall of Gustavo's framed record awards. "You wrote 'Yard Squirrel Christmas' in five minutes, and it's still your biggest-selling single ever."

"It was just a stupid novelty song with sped-up voices, and I hate it!" Gustavo exclaimed.

"Hey, I loved that song." Carlos said, causing the other four teens to nod.

"Everybody loved that song."

"I write the best pop songs in the world, and I will not be remembered for some stupid squirrel song!" Gustavo snapped.

"Well, then, it's time to write a new Christmas classic." Kendall informed the group.

"You can do it, Gustavo." Carlos encouraged.

"You're a genius," Logan added.

"You have the power to get us home for Christmas." James explained.

"And get yourself to Fiji." Kelly said, causing the man to stand there and think for a minute.

"Get me blank music sheets, 13 candy canes, and a cup of cocoa with marshmallows piled high. Because we're about to pull off a big-time Christmas miracle."

That caused the group to quickly cheer as the group quickly divided and conquered to get all of Gustavo's music writing needs, with Dani being the one on cocoa duty.

Not even 20 minutes later, Gustavo was pacing back and forth, singing melodies to himself as the boys were all on the couch on their phones while Dani sat in the chair, songbook in hand.

"Anything?" Kendall asked, not looking up from his phone.

"Great Christmas songs don't just happen!" .

"Dani!" The four boys called.

"We just..." The boys spoke together, jumping up from the couch, quickly jumping behind the couch, and then quickly popping back up dressed in their Christmas pajamas. "Get in our PJs!"

"How do they do that?" Kelly gasped.

"Quick change. Gotta love it." Dani chuckled, popping up beside the lady, wearing her pajamas with a cup of cocoa on her hand, causing Kelly to let out a scream.

"They're cottony holiday joy." Logan stated, holding up the pajama top they got for Gustavo, with James holding the bottoms.

"Yeah, I'm not wearing PJs."

"Well, uh, we could try decorating the place." Carlos suggested.

"Ooh, I've always wanted to decorate the studio for Christmas." Kelly said, excitedly.

"Oh, yeah, yeah. That's a great idea." Gustavo sarcastically said. "Let's just waste a couple hours driving around town and buying Christmas decorations!"

"Unless.." Dani trailed off, causing everyone to turn to the smirking girl. "Every company in the building is already gone for the holidays. So I'm sure they wouldn't mind if we borrowed some of their decorations."

"Go!" Carlos exclaimed, causing the five teens to quickly run out of the studio.

"See, Christmas miracles do happen." Griffin stated, smiling at the group as he sat on the borrowed couch that was sitting in front of the fireplace that played on the TV. "And thanks for the PJs, boys. They make me feel so Christmassy."

"Christmassy enough to let us release a single for the band and Dani instead of an EP?" Kelly asked, sounding hopeful.

"Ho-Ho-Ho. No. And make the others celebrity duets, and Dani add another song to that list."

"Celebrity duets?!" The boys yelled.

"Another song?!" Dani exclaimed.

"How are we supposed to get celebrities to sing with Big Time Rush and Dani on Christmas Eve?" Gustavo questioned.

"It's easy." Griffin said. "You just get some celebrities and sing with them. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm off to a soup kitchen to remind myself how lucky I am on Christmas. Bye Bye."

"You mean, bye-bye Christmas in Minnesota." Logan sighed as the teens took Griffin's spot in front of Gustavo, causing Gustavo to play a sad song on the piano as Kendall fell backwards on the couch.

"Okay, I just pushed back all of our flights four hours." Kelly announced, taking a seat on the edge of Gustavo's chair.

"And how are we doing on our celebrity search?" Gustavo questioned.

"I just got off the phone with Lady Gaga's people." Kendall spoke, slamming down the phone, gaining everyone's attention.

"Ooh, what did she say?" Gustavo asked, sitting forward in his seat.

"Who's Big Time Rush?"

"What about Jordin Sparks?" Gustavo asked, turning his attention to the blonde girl.

"She's already out of town for the holidays, like all the other celebrities in this town." Dani sighed from her spot at the end of the couch beside Kendall, with Carlos on the arm rest beside her.

"Hey, but on the bright side, astronaut Buzz Aldrin is very interested." Carlos excitedly announced, causing the group to turn to him, confused. "Second man to walk on the moon."

"There's got to be some celebrity who's still in town." James groaned, punching the remote beside him, causing the TV to come on.

"So join me, Miranda Cosgrove, for my 'Have Yourself A Miranda Little Christmas Special', live from Los Angeles." The girl spoke from the TV, gaining everyone's interest. "With duets with all your favorite stars, like international superstar Fabio, Lightning the TV Wonder Dog, and..."

James quickly slammed his fist onto the remote, causing it to quickly pause as the four boys quickly crowded around the TV.

"Big Time Rush."

"Don't take this the wrong way, but how exactly do you plan to do that?" Dani questioned.

"It'll be another Christmas miracle." Carlos responded, causing the other three to nod.

"Fine! It's better than sitting here and finding nothing!" Gustavo exclaimed, causing the boys to cheer as the man turned his attention to the blonde girl. "Jennings, how are you coming along with your songs?"

"So far, I have one done, and another is a work in progress." Dani informed the man. "Third song... I have no clue what to do?"

"You don't have any old songs that you could just change a few words to and make a Christmas song?" Kelly asked.

"I mean, I do have one. It's a Christmas song that I wrote a few years ago; it's a duet, actually." Dani admitted, causing the group to lean forward. "It was recorded and everything."

"Well, what are you waiting for?!" Gustavo exclaimed.

"It was a duet... with Mac." Dani revealed, causing the room to go quiet. "And he kind of wrote the song with me. So even if I wanted to release it, I'd have to talk to him about it."

"Well, I'm sure we could all write another song for you." Logan offered, causing the group to nod.

"No, it's fine. I'll have to talk to him eventually." Dani sighed. "This is my battle; you guys go fight yours."

"Actually, this is all of our battle." Kendall spoke. "We all stick together."

"Thanks." Dani said, causing the boys to send her a smile. "But I got this. You guys go get that duet; I'll be waiting here to hear how it all went down."

"She's right. If we're doing this, we have to leave, like now." Kelly said.

That caused the four boys, along with Gustavo and Kelly, to quickly leave the building, leaving Dani alone with her thoughts.

"You got this." Dani mumbled to herself, letting out a breath of air as she pulled out her phone and dialed the familiar number.

After three rings, the person on the other side picked up, "Dani?"

"Mac, hey." Dani breathed out.

"Hey. I wasn't expecting to hear from you... like ever." Mac spoke, causing the girl to let out a little chuckle.

"Yeah, me either."

"So why are you calling? Not that it's bad; it's good to hear your voice."

"Mac..."

"I really am sorry! I promise she was just a friend when we were together, and then we booked a show together, and she was my love interest and everything."

"Clicked. Yeah, no, I get it." Dani said, nodding her head. "That's actually not what I called you to talk about. It's music-related."

"I'm listening."

"Do you remember that song we wrote together like 3 years ago? The Christmas one."

"I love Christmas." They spoke together.

"Yeah, of course. It was one of the last songs we wrote together."

"Well, the CEO of my label just told me that he wanted me to release a Christmas EP of three songs by the end of the day and."

"And you were wondering if you could re-record the song and release it."

"I was actually wondering if you would be okay if I released it with your vocals still on it. He wants me to have celebrity duets on two, and I thought it would be a great choice."

"Wait seriously. You want to release a song... together. Especially after your album."

"If that's okay with you, it'll show the fans and everyone that we've both grown since then and can be civil. I mean, if you're not totally cool with it, then I-."

"No, I'll do it."

"You will?"

"Yeah, it'll be great."

"Thank you so much; I owe you one."

"Wait, what."

"Yeah, it's one of the only songs that I've written that I'm beyond confident will do well with fans. It'll be great for both of us, D."

Dani went quiet for a second, thoughts running through her head.

"Okay, yeah, that's fine. I'll release ''I Love Christmas, and you'll release Drowning."

"Sounds great."

"Well, I gotta go, but I'll be in touch."

"Merry Christmas, Dani."

Dani stood there silent for a few seconds before speaking into the phone, "Merry Christmas, Mac."

Dani sat at the piano in the newly decorated lobby of Rocque Records, silently humming the lyrics to herself with her songbook propped up in front of her.

"Hey." Kendall greeted, causing the girl to look up as she sent him a smile.

"Hey." Dani said, watching the boy as he took a seat beside her on the piano bench. "I watched your performance with Miranda; you guys looked and sounded great."

"Thanks. You don't want to know how we did it." Kendall admitted, causing the girl to chuckle as she shook her head as she continued playing the piano. "What's that you're playing?"

"It's the song that I can't seem to finish." Dani huffed, letting her shoulders drop. "It feels like it's missing something."

"Can I hear it?" Kendall asked, causing the blonde girl to look over at him, making their eyes meet as the boy was already looking at her.

"Why not. Maybe you can help me figure it out." Dani sighed, quickly sitting back up and propping the book up so she could read it as she began playing the song from the beginning.

Dani head snapped and looked over at Kendall with a grin as he joined her, only to find him already looking over at her with a smile, causing the duo to perfectly harmonize together.

Dani kept her eyes locked with the boy as he added his own lyrics, making the pair smile at each other again before they looked away, causing the girl's cheeks to burn red as she sang the chorus on her own.

As they dragged out the last line of the song, their eyes never left one another, even after Dani stopped playing the piano.

The thing that snapped the two out of it was the clapping that came from in front of them.

"That was great!" Carlos cheered, causing the group to nod.

"Even I felt all lovey-dovey inside." Snoop Dogg said from the couch, causing Dani to look at the rapper, surprised.

"Your Snoop Dogg." Dani stated, causing the man to nod before she turned her attention to the rest of the group. "How'd you manage to get Snoop Dogg? And what happened to Gustavo?"

"It's a long story."

"Is that cocoa?" Snoop asked, causing the group to nod as the man reached for one of the cups and poured some before he added a pile of marshmallows before taking a sip. "Mm, Mm, Mm. Now, that's some good cocoa."

"Thanks! I made it myself." Dani beamed, grinning from ear to ear.

"I can't believe we're going to record a song with Snoop Dogg!" James exclaimed, causing the boys to all make happy noises.

"Hey, it's the least I could do after running Gustavo Rocque over with a limo." Snoop explained, causing the blonde girl's eyes to go wide as they all turned to face the producer as he sat at the piano, playing the keys randomly.

"Now I just need to write this song." Gustavo cried.

"Don't worry. You won't be here long." Kelly reassured the rapper. "He writes songs really fast."

"It's kind of his thing," Dani explained.

"I got it. I got it." Gustavo exclaimed, causing everyone to quickly turn back to him. "I don't got it. I'm never going to Fiji."

"You know what, Snoop? This is all part of his process." Kendall stated, causing the group to nod. "He gets it, then he doesn't get it. Then he cries. Hey, who's the present for?"

"Grandma." Snoop answered, patting the box sitting on his leg.

"Oh, cool, is it diamond-encrusted dentures?"

"Is it a platinum and emerald bracelet that says 'number one grammy'?"

"Is it a helicopter?"

"You idiots are all ridiculous." Dani groaned, shaking her head.

"Boys, it's even better." Snoop explained, opening the box as he pulled out a handmade thing made out of clay. "It's a homemade scented candle holder, and I made it myself."

"Aww, that's so sweet. Don't you just love homemade things? I know I do." Dani gushed, causing the rapper to smile. "I bet she'll love it!"

"Where are the emeralds?" James inquired, inspecting the item.

"Man, Christmas ain't about expensive gifts." Snoop explained, causing the blonde girl to nod in agreement. "It's about giving from the heart."

"Nice."

"That's very Christmas messagey." Logan admitted.

"Now if only we could make a song out of that!" Gustavo exclaimed, turning towards the group.

"Maybe we can." Kendall said, shrugging his shoulders. "Logan, fresh holiday beat, please."

Logan quickly shot up from his seat, followed by the other boys and Snoop, as he started to spit a beat.

Griffin stood behind Kelly and Gustavo as they watched the guys and Snoop Dogg from the production booth.

"Guys, that was awesome." Kelly called into the mic.

"And that makes three BTR Christmas songs." Gustavo announced, turning around in his seat, quickly standing up from his spot along with Kelly. "Fiji, here we come."

"Except Justin Bieber just released 50 Days of Christmas with 50 Cent." Griffin stated. "It's over eight hours long, and it's a masterpiece."

"Not to sound rude or anything." Dani interjected, gaining Griffin's attention. "What does that have to do with any of us?"

"That means I need another song from Big Time Rush." Griffin explained. "And you have yet to record a single one of yours."

"Yeah, but I got to be to grandma's house in 15 minutes." Snoop spoke.

"What?!"

"What?"

"What?"

"What?"

"Yeah, I got to be there in 15 minutes." Snoop said, causing Gustavo and Kelly to collapse back into their chairs.

"Fiji!" Gustavo cried out.

"So this is how he writes his joyous holiday songs?" Snoop questioned, sitting between Kelly and Dani as the boy surrounded them as they all watched Gustavo continue his meltdown in the studio they just performed in.

Throwing and breaking anything and everything in his sight.

"Yep."

"And this is how we make it hilarious." Kendall said, leaning around Dani and turning the pitch fader all the way, making Gustavo's voice very high-pitched.

"You want a Christmas EP?" Gustavo rhetorically asked, sounding like one of the chipmunks, causing the group to laugh.

"Fiji!"

"Fiji!"

"No pitch fader." Kelly spoke through gritted teeth, quickly leaning over and turning it back to normal. "Let's remind our celebrity guest that Gustavo works very well under pressure."

Everyone watched in surprise as the man ran back into the room with a chainsaw held over his head.

"Oh, look, he found the chainsaw." Dani pointed out. "He's almost done."

"Christmas!" Gustavo exclaimed.

After a couple more minutes of freaking out, the group watched Gustavo sitting in a Hawaiian shirt in front of a backdrop, sipping from a coconut as if he were sitting on the beach... in Fiji.

"Oh, I can't believe I finished the song, and I'm finally relaxing in Fiji." Gustavo said calmly. "Oh, Garcon. Just something, something delicious, please."

"Yep, he's lost it." Snoop stated, standing up from his seat. "And I gotta go."

"Wait, wait, wait!"

"Wait, Snoop, we still have five minutes." Kelly reminded the man.

"Yeah, just tell your grandma that you hit a producer with your limo and you're going to be a little late." Kendall suggested.

"I can't tell my grandma I hit somebody." Snoop gasped. "She'd kill me, and it was her limo."

"We just need one more Christmas miracle, please." Carlos begged.

"We've never missed a Minnesota Christmas." James explained, taking a step closer to the rapper. "It's got real snow."

"Forget it." Logan sighed. "No one can write a song in five minutes."

"Never say never; it's a challenge, but it's totally doable." Dani said, pointing at the boy. "Remember, Gustavo did it once, and it's still his biggest hit ever."

"Yard Squirrel Christmas."

"Don't mention that song!" Gustavo snapped lowly, popping up from below the window and pressing himself against it.

"That was you?" Snoop asked, pointing at the producer as he made his way back to his seat. "Man, that song cracked me up. I've been dying to make one of them silly Christmas songs."

"Well, you can forget it because I am done with silly Christmas songs!" Gustavo exclaimed, hitting his hands on the glass.

Once he walked away from the window, Kendall leaned forward, turning the pitch fader back up.

"Come on, Gustavo. It's Christmas!" Kendall said.

"We all want to go away for the holidays." Logan begged.

"Oh, come on, Gustavo. You can wear your PJs." Carlos added.

"You can do it, Gustavo. Do it for Fiji-Wiji." James taunted.

"And I got to get to Grandma's house." Snoop spoke, turning down the fader as he spoke before quickly turning it back on.

Everyone in the booth started yelling at once, making all their voices high as Gustavo looked around the studio with a scared look on his face as his past was coming back to haunt him.

"Yard squirrels!" Gustavo exclaimed, causing everyone to go silent. "Get in the booth; I've got the song."

As the boys recorded their final song with Snoop, Dani decided to venture out on her own to record her songs for her Christmas EP.

Dani was adding the songs to the file. Dragging Baby, Please Come Home, and I Love Christmas to burn onto a CD.

Hovering the mouse over the two different versions of My Song For You-the one she just recorded of herself and the one she got of her and Kendall on her recorder at the piano.

After a few seconds, she finally dragged one to the CD before pressing burn. The CD then came out of the machine behind her head as she quickly made her way back to the recording booth everyone else was in.

The first thing she noticed was that the boys and Snoop were all still in the booth, but they were all wearing their PJs, and even Griffin was there, standing in his PJs.

"Here you go. A Christmas EP by yours truly." Dani smiled, handing the CD to the CEO.

"Great! Upload this one immediately as well." Griffin ordered, handing the CD to Abdul, causing the man to quickly leave the room.

"I had fun, boys, but I got to get to my Grandmama's house." Snoop stated.

"And we got to get to Minnesota!" The boys exclaimed.

"Well, you can all make your flights if you leave right now." Kelly explained.

"Happy Holidays!" Gustavo shouted, holding up his luggage.

Dani shook her head, watching every single person dart out the doors, taking her time to make sure everything that should be off was off before making her way back to the Palm Woods, where she would be staying by herself for the next two weeks.

"And finally, nobody is getting in or out of Minnesota or most of the Midwest tonight." The news anchor spoke on the TV as the boys entered their apartment. "A snowstorm has completely shut down all the airports. Merry Christmas."

"Sorry, guys." Ms. Knight said, wrapping her arm around her son.

"I guess we ran out of Christmas miracles." Carlos spoke softly.

"And after everything we went through." Logan sighed.

"How about we make a Christmas miracle happen ourselves?" Katie suggested. "Spread some, you know, Christmas joy?"

That caused all the boys to look around at each other, shrugging their shoulders before looking back at Katie as they all nodded, causing the girl to smile.

"Oh, before I forget, Dani came by to drop these off before she left for the studio earlier." Mama Knight announced, leading the group to the table that had gifts on it. "She wanted to make sure you got them before we left."

"She got us all something?" James questioned, sounding surprised, looking at the table.

"She really cares for you. All of you. She hopes you like them." Ms. Knight smiled softly, placing a hand on the scarf that hung around her neck, which was a gift from the blonde teen.

The group all looked around at each other before grabbing the gift that had their name written on the tag.

"Woah, she got me the new Castle Smashers!" Katie excitedly exclaimed.

"She got me a lab coat with my name on it and a future doctor mug!"

"It's the new Barracuda collection that doesn't stain you orange! This doesn't come out for another month!"

"Woo-hoo! She got me the Fabio corn dog maker! Only available in 10 states!"

"What'd you get, Kendall?" Logan asked, causing the group to look over at the boy as he smiled at the gift.

"A hockey stick." Kendall responded, smiling at the engraving on the handle of the stick.

'The ice and the cold remind me of where I came from.'

"Is it okay if we spread Christmas joy to more than one person?" Kendall said, looking up at the group, causing them all to grin.

The next morning, Dani woke up a little earlier than usual.

Deciding that she wanted to do something this year for Christmas, the night before, she decided to bake dozens of cookies that she was going to share with the only other known person staying in the building over the break, Mr. Bitters.

After putting some neatly into a Christmas container, Dani slipped on her house shoes before making her way out of her apartment and down to the lobby.

As she stepped out of the elevator, she stepped into a newly decorated lobby with all the things borrowed the day prior at Rocque Records.

"Merry Christmas, Dani!"

"What's all this?" Dani spoke softly, looking around the room in awe before her gaze shifted back to the group. "What happened to your Minnesota Christmas?"

"Christmas morning with friends and family." James said, causing the girl to grin.

"And our flight got canceled before we even left the apartment." Logan explained, causing the group to nod.

"Oh no, I'm sorry, guys. I know how excited you were for it." Dani said, sending them a small smile.

"Hey, no worries. There's always next Christmas." Kendall shrugged, smiling at the girl, causing her to nod.

The four boys quickly stood up in front of the girl with their hands behind their backs.

"We got presents for you!" Carlos happily blurted.

"But you guys gave me a gift yesterday." Dani said, lifting her eyebrow. "The picture was enough."

"Silence!"

"We made you something." Carlos confessed, pulling out a small, wavy-looking dish from behind his back. "It's a place to put your jewelry!"

"Aw, I love it." Dani carefully accepted the dish with a smile.

"Also, a new songbook." Kendall said, pulling a black book from behind his back. "I saw that you were running out of pages."

"Thank you, really. You guys are the best."

Dani walked forward, wrapping her arms around Kendall and Carlos as James and Logan surrounded them, making Dani the center of a group hug.

The boys quickly made their way back to their seats on the couch as Dani was approached by Katie.

"Merry Christmas, Dani." Katie smiled, pulling out a small box, causing Dani to carefully set her things on the table before she took the small box. She carefully opened it to reveal a small, colorful bracelet that had her name on it. "I made it myself."

"Thank you, Katie." Dani pouted, slipping it on her wrist before pulling the girl into a tight hug. "I'm never taking it off."

Katie sent the teen girl one last smile before making her way back to her mom, sitting on the arm beside her, leaving only the seat beside Kendall open.

She slowly sat down beside the blonde boy, causing him to hold a mug out in front of her with a smile.

"Cocoa. I learned how to make it from the best in the business."

The duo's fingers touched as the girl reached for the cup, causing their eyes to lock.

"I'll be the judge of that." Dani teased, slowly pulling away as the smile didn't leave either teen's face.

"This might be the nicest Christmas we've ever had." Ms. Knight admitted, sitting between her kids.

"I agree," Kendall said.

"But Santa's going to miss us this year 'cause we're not in Minnesota." Katie sighed sadly.

"Ho-ho-ho!" Gustavo's voice boomed as he made his way into the lobby with Kelly at his side, grinning.

"Close enough."

"I missed my flight to Fiji, so I figured I'd spend the holidays with my dogs." Gustavo announced, pointing at the group. "In my PJs!"

"And we brought a little holiday feast." Kelly explained, stepping out of the way as chefs and caterers began to bring in food.

That Christmas, Dani released something.

The holiday traditions don't have to stop because you leave home.

New traditions are only added because a new home is added to your life.
You meet new people.
You make new friends.
They become your home away from home.
Not everyone is lucky enough to find that.
But Dani was lucky enough to.
