Jasmine grew up in a loving family. She had a close bond with her parents and her older sister Ashley. However when Jasmine was four and Ashley was 8 they had gotten kidnapped shortly after their parents had died. They had been kidnapped by Obake.

Obake always had something against Jasmine's parents. So after they died he kidnapped her and her older sister. While the two sisters were kidnapped Obake used them for an experiments which ended up giving them powers. 

When they were able to escape the two were found by their aunt who took them in to her home and took care  of them. Jasmine was gifted and skipped grades growing up and had graduated high school at the age of 13. 

She is now fourteen and had gotten into bot fighting which ended with her meeting with Hiro and the two becoming friends. Meanwhile Ashley was in college going to SFIT with her boyfriend, Tadashi.

One night after saving both their siblings after they were bot fighting again Tadashi and Ashley decided to show them the nerd school and told them how they can get in. The two worked on their project together and created the micro-bots which got them accepted into SFIT unfortunately their was a fire in the school and both Tadashi and Ashley had died in the fire.

For while Jasmine and Hiro were depressed but with the help of their friends they got better and defeated the one who was behind Tadashi and Ashley's death. They had even became Superheros after that.
