I stood there unable to move. I was only hearing an echo. It was something like what you hear when you put your ear up to a shell. I could only hear that. Nothing else at all I was frozen.

Mars stopped following Lyra when he saw me standing there frozen and walked up to me,"Star let's go come on." He said he snapped his fingers in front of my face.

"Huh what?"I said snapping out of whatever trance I had been in."Oh yeah let's go."

I felt his gaze on me as we followed Lyra down into the rainbow splash pad. But I was quickly forgotten about as he went to watch Lyra leaving me to walk into the park and left me to sit and wonder what happened.

I sat there for a few minutes until I heard,"Star! Star! Lift me up I want to touch the water!''Lyra yelled from the other side of the park.

"Why not have Max?"I yelled back as I walked over to her.

"Because I asked you Star." She said and smiled sweetly.

"Ok fine come here." I tell her as I stop halfway she comes over and lifts her up carefully up to the spot of water coming from what was supposed to look like a rose . She giggles as the water goes everywhere. I watched memorized at that way the water moved.

"Put me down I want to splash!" She suddenly said bored being in my arms. I set her down carefully as she squirms and splayed down.

Mars comes up behind me and playfully shoves me into one of the jets. Water hits me straight in the face making my long brown a wet mess.''Mars!" I yelled. "Come back here you jerk!''I chased him around the edges splash pad until we were both out of breath and called a trus. "Fine....you....w-in. Mars.''I said completely out of breath.He laughed. "Haha I'm going over to play with Lyra."

We sat there in silence for a few moments and I stared off at the water flying everywhere.

"Star?''I vaguely hear Mars say. "Star?" I could hear him say my name as I stared off entranced. "STAR!?" I heard him yell and start shaking me as Lyra starts up to the two of us.
