When he froze a friend's pool by accident (he was excited), he was called names like "monster," "ice freak," and such.

His parents locked him up in his room and only let his best friend, Noah Carter, visit him. When Harry turned sixteen, Noah gave him his first kiss. Harry realized then that he was gay. He and Noah began dating when Harry turned sixteen years old. When Harry turned 18, he left home and moved in with Noah, who began to show a darker side. Harry found himself to become a victim of physical abuse despite being stronger.

At 24 years old, Harry isn't feeling happy that his 25th birthday is arriving. Noah said that he had a surprise for him that day. Harry met Reginald Hill, a new man in town. He felt emotional love for Reginald but grew scared of what Noah would say. He kept his feelings for Reginald a secret as well as his cryokinesis from Reginald.
