You didn't think I'd just rip on American car producers only would you? Well you're wrong, any car geek or anybody from Northern England knows the sight of this thing, and it's reputation. The reliant robin, the three wheeled 'car' and it's flipping and skidding. For once I'm not here to say it's transmission was busted, it rusts easy, or something like that. No the main problem with the robin was its 3 wheel design, when you took turns exceeding 45 degrees or over 25mph you would flip over and skid. Many a times you would see english motorists pushing their robins back up on their side, and it's truly a miracle that anybody in northern England survived the 70s, but a lot didn't, and many died due to the robin.

So why would anybody buy such a deathtrap. Well you've heard the joke, you need a license for everything in England, a license to drive is standard, but then you get into other things like the english porn license and I think they even have a sex license. Well it's not entirely false, and that is why the Robin took off in northern England, because it had only 3 wheels you could drive it with a moped license, and to the workers who had no car license this was a good in between that you could actually drive during wintertime. That's also not to say it wasn't innovative, as it was the very first car to have a fiberglass only body, and plastic screens. The plastic screens were durable and didn't smash open when you crashed or flipped, but would scratch and chip constantly impairing vision. Overall probably not the worst on this list, but definitely not the best it was honestly not a horrible 'car' but I wouldn't be doing my job if I didn't mention it.

(A/N)Strangely enough they did make a normal 4 wheel version with the cute name of the Reliant Kitten, and it actually performed quite fine.
