I made this pretty short and seemingly unfinished because I have no interest in this oneshot anymore. I was working on the next one and I know it's going to be a banger!!! The next chapter will be a request from Mrsinkydeath! So be on the look out for when it's updated because it may just come tomorrow~~

Cuphead sits on a log at the edge of the woods a few meters from the group so he can smoke. Ever since they came back to the town and returned Figaro to his owner, the cup has been a bit...lonely. He puffs out a thin cloud of smoke and closes his eyes in deep thought. The texture of the tiny feline is still fresh in his mind, reminding him of the furry creature from his childhood. He glances at his group in the distance and focuses on a certain furry couple. 

Felix and Oswald.

They got together a few days after they returned. Apparently, they knew each other before... Cuphead sucks his teeth as he watches their sickly sweet display of affection towards one another. For some reason, it made the cup angry, yet he doesn't care about their happiness or the fact that they were talking. What annoys him was Oswald brushing his hands across Felix's smooth fur on his head, occasionally rubbing along his fluffy ears.

Maybe Cuphead is jealous that he no longer had a fluffy creature to feel and cuddle. The reason is beyond the cup himself. He just hates to see someone else touching the feline's smooth fur as if it's theirs to claim. With a sharp huff, the cup gets up from his seat and marches over to the group, ignoring the hundreds of bunny children crowding his legs. He grabs Felix's arm and pulls him up and away from his lover.

"Come with me for a sec."  

That was all he says to the confused feline as he drags him away. The cat looks at the bunnies who try to follow them and tell them to behave and stay with their father. Once they are away from the group and out of sight, the cat questions the cup.

"So, what's up? I'm sure this is urgent considering you didn't bother to explain earlier, am I right?"

He asks with an eyebrow raised. Cuphead sucks his teeth while rolling his eyes.

"No... To be honest, I just can't stand to see that rabbit touching you."

Felix's eyes widen as he takes in the cup's words.

"You mean you...?"

"NO! Not like that, I just... Jackpot..."

The cup trails off and huffs as he tries to find the right words. Felix places the pieces together and shakes his head with a smile. He places his hands on his hips as he sighs lightly.

"Fine, fine! But as an adult feline, my fur won't be as fuzzy as the little guy's... Still, I'll be nice and let you pet me for a bit--"

Before he can finish his statement, the feline is tackled by the large cup-headed male as the said male nuzzles into his fur. Cuphead immediately feels at ease, as though his Jackpot is back in his arms except he is much larger than usual. Felix heaves a heavy sigh as he realizes that it would be a while before the cup lets go. After all the tiny kitten was always on Cuphead's shoulder and very rarely did it leave him. It was his partner in crime!

The sun is already beginning to set and the others gather to where the pair were sitting and find something interesting. Much to everyone's surprise and Oswald's jealousy, the cup and cat were fast asleep, cuddled against the tree. Felix jolts awake at the sound of intruders and locks eyes with the rest of the group before relaxing. He sees his rabbit lover and a smile spreads across his features.

"Hi love~"

He soothes, sleepiness still evident in his voice. Oswald smiles softly, but before he can open his mouth, a raspy voice cuts in.

"Hum? Hey..."

The rabbit's ear twitches in irritation. Cuphead shifts slightly and rubs against the feline, relishing in the soft fur of his head. Noticing his annoyance, Felix tries to get out of the cup's grip and calm his boyfriend, but the persistent and half-asleep cup held him closer.

"My fluffy~"

Oswald darts towards the two and knocks Cuphead over, forcing the cup awake, as he snatches his feline lover back.

"Get your own fluffy boyfriend! This one's mine!"
