After settling Horror in the house, they took one last shot. If this didn't work out, Horror was done, and I probably would be too. A hang out session at Undyne's, with my mate as my plus one. As long as I stayed near him, and kept him away from Undyne it would be ok. Maybe. We will see. I lead Horror to the ferry, and greeted Riverperson. "Tra la la, greets to you and your lover from the other world, tra la la." Horror tensed immediately. "Riverperson knows a lot of things, he's no threat." I reassured him as I eased him onto the boat. It wasn't easy, wolves aren't boat people. "Tra la la, Threat I am not, but those you seek will be." I flinched. How... reassuring... Horror held me close, partly to comfort me, partly to ground himself from the rocking of the boat. He definitely wasn't a fan. Note to self, just take boyfriend express on the way back. "Horror." He hummed. "Here." I handed him the key to the door. "Just in case." I replied to his unanswered question. He rumbled, nuzzling into me. The Riverperson was oddly quiet.

We walked the way to the lab in tense silence, holding each other's hands as we did so. "Remember, she isn't your Undyne." I reminded him quietly. "i know.." He whispered back. Soon we were at the door, I grinned widely, hoping it was convincing. We would be ok. I knocked on the door and waited. "S-Sans... why i-is.."
"Why is HE here." Alphys barked. "TO HANG OUT, OF COURSE! YOU DIDN'T THINK I WAS JUST GOING TO LEAVE MY LOVER ALONE, DID YOU?" I emphasized the fact that Horror and I were together. I was having his kid. Undyne nodded uneasily. "R-right, r-right.." We were let in. Papyrus was lounging on the couch when we did, he sat up, frowning deeply. "DON'T BE LIKE THAT, BROTHER. WOULD YOU GUYS JUST STOP AND GIVE HORROR A CHANCE?" I asked with a hint of annoyance and ever growing frustration. Horror seemed to be ignoring them, looking at the anime collection on the table. "what are these?" I tore my gaze away from them in favor of answering Horror. "ANIME. THE REASON WHY WE ARE HERE." I replied, holding up a disc. "THIS ONE IS A FAVORITE!"

We started with Vampire Knight with Horror super curious about the 'moving images'. He wanted a closer look, but I knew the others wouldn't like him being in the way of the show. "When it's just us, baby." I promised. He gave a reluctant nod and turned back to the show, head tilted curiously. "W-what's up with h-him?" Undyne asked. "His first time watching TV. He's curious." I mused. Undyne gave a shaky smile. "O-oh. I-I see." I gave a quiet nod and we turned back to the show. Finally. We might actually be gaining some progress.
