Age of The Bibliophiles
Different from my usual, it's for a contest, enjoy!
—————————————————————————————————————————————————
Twenty percent through,
Before a century
Begins anew.
So many things,
All to do,
See what it brings?
Auspicious times.
The old way clings,
And we have no crimes,
So now we rise,
Above the rest,
In iridescent skies,
Revealed at last.
Break through the lies,
With clarion blast,
To war we'll go,
In a flurry so fast.
We'll shout,
As we run past,
Without a doubt,
"I'm a Bibliophile!
It's time we sprout!
We've won by a mile!"
Our lambent light
After quite awhile
Has reached great height
For now is our age
And what a sight!
Free from our cage,
Fandoms have won!
We'll take the stage
There will be none,
Whose tenuous view,
When everything's done,
Is not pierced through.
Resolve for a renewed world,
Wreathed in words too,
With invites stacked and furled,
For all this realization,
And fans all finally curled,
Around for celebration.
