so what's it about?

How many kids can say that they've been possessed by Satan? Salene Kalimeris would argue that she's the only one. Being a teenager is already stressful, and having the literal Devil in her head only makes it worse. Most people might be excited about the powers that a possession brings, but Salene is nose-diving straight down a path of self-destruction.

Tony Stark needs help on a mission, and the two newest heroes in Queens — Spider-Man and Lightbringer — seem like the perfect recruits. Only he has no idea that one of them is literally battling her inner demons.

Salene has to learn to either control her powers, or let Lucifer control her.

personal notes:

— I will be honest and say that I have not read this yet, but I did play a significant role in helping Greta with her ideas and reading bits of chapters, so I've basically read it without reading it.

— Greta has a knack for giving her OCs such interesting powers, and Salene's are AWESOME. The inner conflict she has with trying to balance her powers and also learn to manage sharing her mind with Lucifer is brilliantly done. I never thought that I'd be rooting for a brotp between a teenage girl and the Devil, but here I am.

— Watching Salene grow into the Sword of Satan is so !!!! Exciting!!!! Character/power growth is one of my favorite things to read about. I am so proud of Salene.

— The Kalimeris family has my entire heart and Kyril is my husband. Sorry guys, I've already claimed him.

— Salene's family is Greek and their culture is an integral part of the story. They own their own restaurant and I wish I could go to Kalimeris Kuts SO badly.

— Readers of Havoc/Aftermath will remember Salene and Kyril from their cameoes in Acts 3 & 4!
