Zabaradasti-Forced

A wave of feelings washed over Anna as she saw Khushi laugh and the tender moments between her and Dev. Mistaking Dev for her late father Edward, Khushi embraced him with enthusiasm and called him "Papa." The sight of them together brought back nostalgic feelings of Khushi's treasured relationship with her birth father. During the touching scene, Anna couldn't help but feel as though she was in the past again—a flashback to the times when Edward was Khushi's heart. Grasping Khushi in her arms, Anna watched Edward enter the room. He walked over to his daughter, and it was obvious how much love and warmth were in his eyes. "Hamaari Choti Khushi, hamaari rajakumaari ko dekho. Kya vah hamaare ghar ka dil nahi hai(Look at our little Khushi, our princess. Is she not the heart of our home?)" Anna smiles at her husband. "Bilkul. Edward, usake paas tumhaari aankhen hain(Absolutely. Edward, she has your eyes.)"

With a natural ease, Edward drew Khushi into his arms and held her lovingly. "Hi, mere dil! Aaj kaisa chal raha hai, meri pyaari pari(Hi there,my heart. How's today going, my darling angel?)" Even as a baby, Khushi responded by gurgling and cooing happily, putting out a hand to grasp Edward's finger. "Anna,us par ek najar daalen. Vah apane Papa ki aavaaz jaanati hai(have a look at her. She knows her Papa's voice.)" Captivated by the bond between the father and daughter, Anna was moved. "Edward, vah tumhe pyaar karati hai. Yah aisa hai jaise aap usaki duniya hain(she loves you. It's like you're her world.)" Edward kisses his baby before kissing his wife. "Anna, vah meri duniya hai. Hamaara chota sa chamatkaar(she is my world. Our small miracle.)" Anna brushed away the tears that welled up her eyes and returned to the present. She was reminded by the flashback of Edward and Khushi's deep love and relationship. "Tum usake dil the, Edward(You were her heart, Edward.)" She kept watching Khushi and Dev, admiring the beauty of their new friendship developing in front of her eyes, and the mixture of happiness and sadness stayed in her heart. Anna experienced a wave of appreciation for Dev's presence in Khushi and Dev's lives as she saw the sweet moments between them. She walked over to Dev and thanked him, which puzzled him. "Dev,dhanyavaad. Yahaan hamaare saath rahane ke liye(thank you. For being with us here.)" Curiosity piqued Dev's sincere confusion. "Tum mujhe dhanyavaad kyon de rahe ho, Anna? Main bas Khushi ke saath samay bita raha hoon(Why are you thanking me, Anna? All I'm doing is spending time with Khushi.)" Touched by the genuineness of their exchange, Anna smiled despite her feelings. "Dev,ye bahut maayane rakhata hai. Aapako shaayad ehasaas nahi hoga ki aapane Khushi ke liye aage aakar aur usake liye khade hokar kitana kuch kiya hai(it means a lot. You may not realize how much you've done for Khushi by stepping in and being there for her.)" Dev nodded gratefully, yet not quite realizing the breadth of Anna's feelings. "Khushi is an amazing child. Usake saath ghoomana majedaar hai(It's fun to hang out with her.)" Anna just nodded, accepting Khushi's sense of an unspoken connection. "Yah hamaare liye bahut maayane rakhata hai aur main yah jaanata hoon. Yahaan hone ke liye dhanyavaad(It means a lot to us, and I know that. Thank you for being here.)"

Few days later:

Dev gathered his family in the living room of their luxurious mansion, ready to present Anna to everyone. Because each member of the family had a unique personality, the dynamic was diverse but close-knit. Rajesh was a kind and caring father who welcomed Anna with open arms. From the moment she came into their lives, he saw her as a member of the family. "Anna, tum yahaan mahaz ek mehmaan se kahin zyada ho—tum meri beti ho. Aap mahasoos kar sakate hain ki aap har samay ghar par hain(you are more than just a guest here—you are my daughter. You can feel you are at home all the time.)" Even though she was hesitant at first, Aarti reacted. But cultural barriers kept her from warming up to Anna completely. Dev's older brother Tej, who was caring and strong, radiated protection. He valued Anna's contribution to the family and treated her with respect. "Anna, aapaka yahaan hona acha hai. Bache aapase pyaar karate hain(it's nice to have you here. The children love you.)" Sunaina was a lively and vivacious woman who infused the household with her contagious enthusiasm. Anna was quickly embraced by her and made to feel like a member of the family. "Anna, yahaan aane ke liye aapaka bahut svaagat hai! Hansi-majaak se bharapoor ek behatareen samay ke liye taiyaar rahen(you are so welcome to be here! Be ready for a great time filled with laughs.)" Hoshiyaar's wife Masoom had hatred against Anna because of her personal prejudices. Accepting someone from a different background was difficult for her. Hoshiyaar, the family's humorous and jovial member, tried to break the ice by making things hilarious. "Anna,Hoshiyaar special - laughter therepy ke liye taiyaar ho jaie(get ready for the Hoshiyaar special – laughter therapy!)" Dev's cousin Isha was outgoing and friendly. Despite their initial meeting, she saw Anna as a friend as well as a sister. "Mainne aapake baare mein bahut kuch suna hai, Anna didi! Main aapake baare mein aur adhik jaanane ke liye utsuk hoon(I've heard so much about you, Anna didi! I'm eager to learn more about you.)" Rajesh's younger brother, Ram, was amiable and approachable. From the beginning, he treated Anna like family. "Anna, svaagat! Yah sthaan ek bada parivaar hai(welcome! This place is one large family.)" Ram's wife, Ragini, was kind and down-to-earth. She showed Anna the affection of a mother.

"Mere priya, tum taaji hava ke jhonke ki tarah ho. Aap jo hain vahi bane rahane ke liye svatantr mahasoos karen(My love, you are like a breath of fresh air. Feel free to be who you are.)" Ram and Lakhan, Tej and Sunaina's adoptive twins were energetic and fun. They were immediately fond of Anna. Duggu, Masoom and Hoshiyaar's son, was the cute little child that delighted the household. Anna grinned at his innocent curiosity. "Yah mera parivaar hai, Anna. Ve sabhi dilavaale hain, bhale hi ve thode abhibhoot karane vaale hon. Araajakata ka aanand len(This is my family, Anna. They are all heart, even though they may be a little overwhelming. Enjoy the chaos!)" Dev chose to introduce Anna to his fiancée and girlfriend, Divya, since he wanted to share every part of his life with her. Divya looked beautiful as they walked into the trendy restaurant, radiating sophistication and confidence. "Anna, yah Divya hai, meri girlfriend aur fiancee. Divya, yah Anna hai, mere sabase pyaare doston mein se ek (this is Divya, my girlfriend and fiancée. Divya, this is Anna, one of my dearest friends.)" Divya reaches out to shake Annaś hand. "Tumhe Anna hona chaahiye, mujhe pata hai!Mainne de se aapake baare mein bahut kuch seekha hai(You must be Anna, I know! I've learned so much about you from Dev.)" Anna forced a polite grin on her face while trying to hide her feelings. "Divya, aapase milakar acha laga. Dev aapake baare mein bhi bahut achci baaten kahate hain(nice to meet you. Dev says great things about you too.)" Divya gives Anna a thorough examination."Khair, dev ke doston ko dekhana hamesha sukhad hota hai. Unaka saamaajik daayara vaaki dilachasp hai(Well, seeing Dev's friends is always a pleasure. His social circle is really interesting.)"

(I love Reem too but I guess she is kind of like the antagonist)

Divya quietly expressed her sense of elegance and high standards throughout the discussion. Her fancy attire and well-groomed look highlighted the differences between her and Anna. "Dev,mere priy, main agale saptaah ke ant mein Paris ki achaanak yaatra karane par vichaar kar raha tha. Aapako kaisa lagata hai(my sweetheart, I was considering making an impromptu trip to Paris next weekend. How do you feel?)" Dev smiles at her. "Yah adbhut lagata hai, Divya! Anna, kisi din hamaare saath ghoomane aao(It sounds wonderful, Divya! Anna, come hang out with us someday.)" Sensing a change in the dynamics, Anna nodded. "Mujhe acha lagega, lekin mera kaaryakram kaafi apratyaashit hai(I'd love to, but my schedule is quite unpredictable.)" As the evening went on, Divya kept talking about her glitzy way of life and upscale pastimes. "Oh, Anna, mujhe is vishisht kala udghatan mein aamantrit kiya gaya hai. Aapako hamase judane ki jaroorat hai. Yah aapake drishtikon ko vyaapak banaane ka ek shaanadaar mauka hai(I've been invited to this exclusive art opening. You need to join us. It's a fantastic chance to broaden your perspectives.)" Anna nods tensely. "Yah ek aakarshak vichaar lagata hai. Main ise banaane ki poori koshish karoonga(It sounds like a fascinating idea. I'll try my best to make it.)" An ache of sadness crept into Anna's stomach as she heard Dev and Divya gush about their opulent adventures. She began to wonder where she fit into Dev's world because of the obvious contrasts between their lifestyles, which revealed a developing distance. "Anna, yah doosari duniya hai. Bas Dev ke liye khush raho(this is another world. Just be happy for Dev.)" One day, for some mysterious reason, Divya chose to avoid Dev and approached Anna for an odd request. She asked Anna to get dressed, put on her veil, and come sit in her room. Divya made a peculiar request, and Anna, ever the gracious, accepted it. When Anna donned Divya's outfit, the elaborately patterned veil covered her face, lending an air of mystery. At the same time, Divya explained her plan to Anna. "Anna, mujhe dev se ek pal ki gopaniyata chaahiye. Kya aap please mere kamare mein baithenge aur mere kapade pahanenge? Bhale hi yah keval thodi der ke liye hai, lekin yah mere liye bahut maayane rakhega(I need a moment's privacy from Dev. Would you please sit in my room and put on my clothes? Even though it's only for a while, it would mean a lot to me.)" Honoring Divya's request, Anna did as she was told and discovered herself in Divya's room, wrapped in the graceful veil. Not knowing about the switch, Dev was going to walk into the room with a bridal ring that bore his initial "D." "Divya, main tumhaare liye kuch khaas laaya hoon. Are. Please, aapako ise pahale dekhana chaahiye(I got something special for you. Hey. You should see it first, please.)" As he walked inside the room, he saw the person dressed in Divya's clothes. "Hamesha ki tarah, aap bahut khoobasoorat lag rahi hain. Mujhe tumhaare liye ek upahaar mila hai(As always, you look gorgeous. I've got a gift for you.)" Believing Anna was Divya, he gave her the ring. Anna has Divya's voice when she speaks. "Dev, thank you.Yah kya hai(What's this?)" Unaware that he was holding Annaś hand, Dev took her hand and carefully slid it onto her finger. "Vah "D"¨ vaali shaadi ki angoothi hai, mujhe vishvaas tha ki yah aapaki naajuk ungaliyon mein bilkul fit baithegi(That's the wedding ring with a 'D.΅' I believed that it would fit your delicate fingers perfectly.)" Behind the curtain, Anna experienced a range of feelings. She could feel Dev's love and honesty, but things were getting more complicated. "Dev, it's really lovely. Thank you." Satisfied with the situation, Dev was unable to glimpse the face behind the curtain. "Divya, I love you. Mere liye, tum hi sab kuch ho(To me, you are everything.)" Even though she was still hiding, Anna nevertheless managed to reply with heart, doing her best to handle the delicate problem. "I love you too, Dev." Anna struggled to understand the complexities of the issue as Dev exited the room. The curtain covered her identity and the range of emotions that were racing through her. As the wedding day of Dev and Divya drew near, Anna unintentionally became involved in a web of lies. Dev had no idea that Divya had hidden agendas. She had been playing with his emotions intending to leave with a wealthy and handsome lover. Her elaborate betrayal was planned by the approaching wedding. The mansion was buzzing with excitement and anticipation on that fateful day. The guests were starting to arrive, and the decorations were extravagant. Divya was secretly preparing for her escape, unbeknownst to Dev. Divya hurriedly packed her things in her room, making sure to conceal her true intentions from others. Expecting freedom and a fresh start with her rich partner, her heart pounded with cold, calculated anticipation. "Main ek aur kadam mein mukt ho jaoonga. Dev, alavida(I'll be free in one more step. Dev, goodbye.)" When the wedding ceremony was about to start, Divya took a careful position to execute her plan. She disguised the deceit beneath the surface of a blushing bride by dressing in her wedding gown. With a heart full of love and excitement, Dev was getting ready, blissfully oblivious to the betrayal that was about to occur. As guests assembled, there was a joyful hum of expectation in the space. But right before the ceremony was about to start, Divya quietly disappeared, leaving Dev a letter.

"Dev, I'm not able to do this. I've found someone else who can provide me with the life I've always desired. I am sorry but this is goodbye. -Divya"

Fortunately, Rajesh was the first to notice the letter. Driven by rage at learning of Divya's deception, Rajesh was aware of the consequences for his family's being and Dev's well-being. He was burdened with a great deal of duty and care for his son. He found Anna as he walked about the mansion; she had become caught in the intricate dynamics without realizing it. His eyes gleaming with rage, he grasps Divya's letter. "I never thought that she would do this. She intends to crush my son's heart on the wedding day." Anna is sympathetic. "Uncle Rajesh, I find it unbelievable that she would do something like this. Dev does not deserve this suffering." Rajesh gives Anna a desperate glance. "Anna, main nahi chaahata ki Divya ke dhokhe se mere parivaar ko dukh pahunche(I don't want Divya's betrayal to cause pain for my family.)" Dev cannot endure this humiliation by himself. "Kya tum...meri bahu banogi(Will you...be my daughter-law?)" Anna hesitated, surprised by this unexpected proposal. Feeling obligated to Rajesh, her thoughts revolved around the fact that she was taking on new role that would affect not just her life but also her relationship with her uncle, whom she considered to be her father. "Uncle Rajesh, main aapaki chinta samajhata hoon, lekin(I understand your concern, but...)" Rajesh begs her. "Please, Anna. Mujhe ehasaas hua ki yah achaanak hua hai, lekin main Dev ko akele is sab se gujarate hue nahi dekh sakata. Main aapake alaava kisi aur ke baare mein nahi soch sakata jo is kami ko bharega kyonki aap hamaare parivaar ke sadasy rahe hain(I realize it's abrupt, but I can't stand to watch Dev go through this alone. I can't think of anyone else who would fill this void but you because you've been a member of our family.)" Anna met Rajesh's eyes with sympathy despite her struggle. "Main aapake aur Dev ke liye yah karoonga, Rajesh Uncle. Haalaanki, mujhe aapake aashvaasan ki aavashyakata hai ki ek parivaar ke roop mein, jo bhi saamane aaega hum usase nipat lenge(I'll do this for you and Dev, Uncle Rajesh. However, I need your reassurance that as a family, we'll deal with whatever comes up.)" Rajesh's eyes are filled with tears. "Main aabhaari hoon, Anna. Aap hame sharm se bacha rahe hain. Hum isaka milakar saamana karenge, main vaada karata hoon.(I'm grateful, Anna. You are rescuing us from shame. We'll face it together, I promise.)" With Divya's pink bridal saree on, Anna felt the burden of the situation bearing down on her.

The saree's vivid hues gave off the impression of a happy occasion that had since been ruined by treachery and sorrow. Her feelings were concealed by the veil covering her face. Abruptly, a ghostly figure appeared in the space. Edward appeared in front of Anna as a ghost. His voice was a whisper in the atmosphere, yet it was heavy with promises and memories. "Aap aisa kyon kar rahe hain, Anna? Hamane bhagavaan aur baaki sabhi ke saamane ek-doosare ke prati ek shaashvat pratigya ki. Kya tumhe ab hamaari pratigyaen yaad nahi rahi(Why are you doing this, Anna? We made an everlasting vow to each other in front of God and everyone else. Do you no longer remember our vows?)" Anna experienced a range of emotions as a result of her late husband's apparition. The room echoed with their promises as she stretched out instinctively and his ghost figure embraced her. "Main nahi bhoola, Edward. Lekin ab main kya kar sakata hoon? Dev aur Rajesh ko meri jaroorat hai. Ve ise apane aap nahi sambhaal sakate(I haven't forgotten, Edward. But now what can I do? Dev and Rajesh need me. They cannot handle this on their own.)" Edward spoke behind her, his tenderness reaching beyond the realms. "Hamaara pyaar kabhi khatm nahi hone vaala tha, Anna. Main aapake daayitv ki bhaavana ko samajhata hoon, lekin doosare logon ko aapako dukhi na karane den. Un vaadon ka kya jo aapane mujhase kiye the(Our love was never-ending, Anna. I understand your sense of obligation, but don't let other people make you miserable. What about the promises that you gave me?)" Anna turned as he was speaking, hoping to find comfort in his company, only to see him vanish from view. Because of the apparition's transient nature, she was left standing by herself with the consequences of her decisions. "Oh, Edward, mujhe tumhaari yaad aa rahi hai. Haalaanki, main ateet ko nahi badal sakata(how I miss you. However, I can't change the past.)" With the weight of her choices and the aura of visitation overwhelming her, she collapsed onto the bed.

The mood was tense due to the weight of unforeseen events as Anna made her way down to the wedding mandap. The internal conflict that surrounds the ceremony appears to be reflected in the blazing fire in the mandap. Dev was utterly unprepared for the surprise that was in store for him as he eagerly anticipated his bride. Dev feels enraged and startled. "Anna! Yah kya hai? Tum yahaan kyon ho(What is this? Why are you here?)" Rajesh, who was standing close by, stepped in and gave Dev a heartfelt explanation of the circumstances. "Dev, Anna di gai sthiti mein kaaryabhaar sambhaalane ke liye sahamat hue. Hum Divya ke vishvaasaghaat ki sharmindagi se apane parivaar ki pratishtha ko nukasaan nahi ahunchane de sakate.(agreed to take over in the given situation. We cannot allow the shame of Divya's treachery to damage the reputation of our family.)" Even though Dev knew that damage control was necessary, he could not hide his displeasure and aggravation. The wedding ceremony continued, but anxiety was in the air. Dev spoke words that broke the stillness as he decked Anna with the mangal sutra and placed sindoor on her forehead. "Anna,ab se tum mere liye koi nahi ho. Mujhe aapake naam ki dhvani aur aapake chehare ki drshti se bhi napharat hai. Is anachaahe rishte ki vajah se ab hum ajanabi hain(you are nobody to me anymore from now on. I hate even the sound of your name and the sight of your face. We are now strangers because of this unwanted relationship.)" With tears flowing down her cheeks, Anna tried not to show how much these harsh comments hurt her heart. Seeing the seriousness of the situation, she gave a silent nod. The marriage went forward, but the vows were filled with resentment. There was a flickering of the sacred fire to match the tense feelings in the air. After the wedding, Anna—now married to Dev—saw a future in which her happiness would be sacrificed to uphold familial ties. After an unanticipated union, the burden of spoken anguish persisted.

There was a noticeable strain in the air as the family was shocked to learn that Anna was married to Dev. Resentful and biased, Masoom and Aarti were quick to show their contempt for Anna. "Yah poori tarah se haasyaaspad hai! Aap aisa kaise hone de sakate hain, Dad? Is parivaar mein Anna ke liye koi jagah nahi hai(This is completely ridiculous! How on earth could you let this happen, Dad? In this family, Anna has no place.)" Aarti is in agreement. "Vah musibat thi, itana main jaanata tha. Ab usane jo gadabadi ki hai us par ek nazar daalen. Aisa nahi ho sakata(She was trouble, that much I knew. Take a look at the mess she made now. This can't happen.)" Rajesh found it difficult to keep things in order since he was worried about the effects of Anna's abrupt status as Dev's wife and about preserving his family's reputation. "Masoom, Aarti, hamaari sthiti khedajanak hai. Hamen ek parivaar ke roop mein ekajut rahana chaahiye(we have a regrettable circumstance. We must remain united as a family.)" Despite being astonished and perplexed, the other family members attempted to comprehend the sudden turn of events. Isha speaks softly to Ragini. "Mainne isaki kabhi aasha nahi ki thi. Bechaara Anna(I never anticipated this. Poor Anna.)" Sunaina has worries. "Kya ho raha hai Papa ji? yah sachamuch achaanak hai(What's happening, Papa ji? This is really sudden.)" Ram tries to ease the situation. "Aaie tatkaal nirnay lene se bachen. Hamen sthiti ko samajhana hoga(Let's avoid making snap judgments. We have to understand the situation.)" Still roiling with rage, Dev made it plain that Anna was an unwanted presence in his life. "Main dobaara kabhi usaka chehara nahi dekhana chaahata. Usake paas mere liye kuch bhi nahi hai(I never want to again see her face. She has nothing for me.)" Standing in the middle of the nasty looks and quiet murmurs, Anna attempted to keep her cool under the torrent of feelings coursing through her. She was burdened by the criticism of everyone around her, particularly Masoom, Dev, and Aarti. "Yah vah nahn hai jo main chaahata tha. Lekin parivaar ki khaatir main ise sah loonga(This is not what I wanted. But I'll put up with it for the sake of the family.)" The family had to reconcile their expectations with the unexpected circumstances that had befallen them as they dealt with the aftermath of a turbulent ceremony. There was still unease behind the mansion walls as the relationships that had once kept them together were put to the test.
