Toote Pankh-Broken Wings

Jhanvi was sitting in the car with her Lynette Nani der a beautifully shining sun, her face lit up with excitement. The entire family had come to see them off as they left on their journey, and they were all grinning.

Lynette (playfully): Jhanvi, kya tum hamaare saahasik kaary ke liye taiyaar hain(are you ready for our adventure?)

There was a buzz of expectation and laughter as Lynette turned on the engine. They had no idea that an unexpected turn of events would shake the entire family.

In another instance, Anna suddenly hurried toward Renu as she was crossing the road, without realizing the danger that was about to occur.

Anna (panicking): No! Stop! Renu, watch out!

Quickly responding, Renu attempted to stop her steps. At the same time, Lynette was in danger while driving with Jhanvi. The car lost control and started heading toward the edge of the cliff.

Lynette (frantically): Jhanvi, pakadana! Mujhe car rokane ki koshish karane do(hold on! Let me try to get the car to stop

Screams and gasps rang out as everyone was held in a fearful embrace by the erupting destruction. Anna and Dev were overcome with panic as they witnessed the approaching disaster, and the event played out in torturous slow motion.

Dev (shouting): Anna!Car roko! Koi unaki madad karo(Stop the car! Someone help them!)

Anna (tearfully): I can't control it, Dev! No!

The sounds of the family screamed as the car carrying Jhanvi and Lynette teetered on the brink. Time seemed to stop as the unimaginable happened: the car plunged off the cliff and was destroyed by a devastating explosion. Everyone felt the shockwave, and Dev and Anna were left in shock and disbelief.

 Anna (screaming): NO! CHACHI! JAANU!

Dev (shouting): Lynette! No, please, no!

The peace of the day was shattered when the once-happy departure turned into a nightmare. The family was stunned and helpless to do anything but watch in complete horror as the tragic scene played out in front of them.

Dev (angry and blaming Anna): Anna,ye sab tumhaari galati hai! Yadi aap savdhaan rahate to ise roka ja sakata tha. Jhanvi a aur Lynette ki maut ka kaaran tu hi hain)it's all your fault! This may have been prevented if you had just would have been careful. You are the reason Jhanvi and Lynette are dead!_

Anna (heartbroken): Dev,main kabhi nahi chaahata thi ki aisa ho. Mujhe yakeen nahi hai ki kya galat hui. Main Jhanvi ko apani jaan se bhi jyada pyaar karata tha kyonki vah meri dil ki dhadakan hai. Car na rukati to mar jaati Renu! Aap kabhi bhi ek maan dvara sahe gae kasht ko poori tarah se nahi samajh paenge(I never wanted this to happen. I'm not sure what went wrong. I loved Jhanvi more than my life because she is my heartbeat. Renu would have died if the car did not stop! You will never fully understand the suffering endured by a mother!)

Masoom (agreed with Dev): Dev sahi hai. Is ladaki ko aur adhik jimmedaar hone ki jaroorat hai. Humne ab usaki vajah se do behad keemati jindagi an kho di hain(is correct. This girl needs to be more responsible. We have now lost two very precious lives all because of her.)

Aarti (with sadness): Yah sveekaar karane mein kasht hota hai ki yah ek tragedy hai, lekin shaayad Anna ise rok sakate the. Yah hum sabhi ke liye peeda ka kaaran banata hai(It stings to admit that this is a tragedy, but maybe Anna could have stopped it. This causes pain for all of us.)

Renu (heartbroken and grieving): Meri choti sa Janu ab mere saath nahi hai; maine apni maan ko bhi kho diya. Yah bahut jyaada hai. Yah ghatana kis kaaran ghatit hui(My little Janu is no longer with me; I lost my mom too. It's just too much. What caused this thing to happen?)

As Renu sobs uncontrollably, the family, struck by the tragedy, finds it difficult to offer consolation.

Hoshiyaar (trying to console Renu): Renu, ham sabhi ek kathin kshan se gujar rahe hain. Please majaboot bane rahane ka prayaas karen(we're all going through a tough moment. Try to remain strong, please.)

Tej (trying to maintain composure): Ek parivaar ke roop mein, hamen is kathin kshan mein ek saath khade rahana chaahiye. Dosh madhane se ve wapas nahi lautenge(As a family, we must continue to stand together throughout this difficult moment. Putting blame won't make them return.)

There was a tangible loss in the air as the family assembled for the funeral. Torn by resentment and guilt, Dev made a snap decision and banned Anna from attending the somber ceremonies. Masoom and Aarti agreed with him and supported on the decision.

Dev (firmly): Aapaka yahaan swagat nahi hai, Anna. Ye aapaki laparwahi ka nateeja hai. Aap is vidai ka hissa banane ke laayak nahi hain(You're not welcome here, Anna. This is a consequence of your negligence. You don't deserve to be a part of this farewell.)

Anna (pleading): Dev, please. I loved Jhanvi too.Mujhe alavida kehne deejie(Let me say my goodbyes.)

Masoom (coldly): Yah use surakshit rakhane ka aapaka mauka tha. Ab peechhe hato(It was your chance to keep her safe. Now back off.)

Aarti (resolute): Dev sahi hai. Aapane logo ko kaafi kuchal diya hai. Aapki laaparavaahi ka yahi phal milata hai(is right. You've crushed people enough. This is what you get for your carelessness.)

With tears flowing down her cheeks, Anna stood outside feeling even more isolated and guilty. Completely torn between grief and guilt, the family carried out the funeral ceremonies, with Anna standing outside, a silent observer of the last goodbye to the two lives gone.

Renu (inconsolable):Maine sab kuch kho diya hai. Yahaan tak ki mere bache aur meri maan ko alvida kahane ka mauka bhi(I've lost everything. Even the chance to say goodbye to my baby and my mom.)

After the heartbreaking incidents and strained relationship with Anna, Dev made a choice that would completely change his path in life. In an attempt to find comfort and a new beginning, he chose to get married again. Deep's sister Anika, who is gentle and innocent, opened a new chapter in his life. Her mother Barfi, on the other hand, changed the dynamic with her arrogant attitude.

Dev (resolute but conflicted): Mujhe peeda se door, phir se shuruaat karane ki jaroorat hai. Main khushi ka ek aur mauka chaahata hoon aur Anika ek imaandaar insaan lagati hai(I need to start over, far from the suffering. I want another opportunity at happiness, and Anika seems like an honest person.)

Anika (innocently): Devji, main ek adbhut patni banane ka vaada karati hoon. Meri mission aapake liye khushi laana hai(I promise to be an amazing wife. My mission is to bring you joy.)

Barfi (arrogantly): The best is what my daughter deserves. Mr. Dev, make sure you provide it.

(I hate Barfi also in the show)

The past continued to cast its shadows as Dev and Anika set out on their new journey. Their story was made more complex by the different personalities in the family and the complicated nature of their relationships.

Dev (reflecting): Shaayad is baar cheezen alag hongi. Main Anika ko vah behatar jindagi dena chaahata hoon jisaki vah hakadaar hai(Perhaps things will go differently this time. I want to give Anika the better life that she deserves.)

When Anna saw the truth about Dev's new marriage, her heart broke. She was so overcome with shock and pain that she was unable to control her emotions for a brief amount of time. Her emotions erupted at seeing Dev with Anika, and she was unable to process what she was seeing.

Anna (heartbroken and angry): Dev,aap kaise kar sakate hain? Sab kuch ke baad aap itani teji se kaise aage badh gae(how could you? How come you've moved on so fast after everything?)

Dev (indifferent): Anna, hum talaakashuda hain. Mujhe apna jeevan jeene ka adhikaar hai(we're divorced. I have the right to live my life.)

Anna's hurt transformed into a wave of rage as Dev's indifference ripped through her. She slapped him without thinking, and the room echoed with the sound. Everyone who was there was astounded by what happened.

Anika (apologizing): "I'm so sorry, Anna. Meri iraada aapako thes pahuchane ki nahi thi(I didn't mean to hurt you.)

Anna (feeling torn): Anika,ye tumhaari bhool nahi hai. Aisa karna mere liye sahi nahi ti(it's not your fault. It wasn't right of me to do that)

Anika felt guilty, but her mother, Barfi, took the chance to show how much she hated Anna.

Barfi (harshly): Vah yahaan bhi kyon hai? Yadi vah ab aapki patni nahi hai, to use chale jaana chaahiye. Yah tumhaare liye ant hai, Chori. Aapko bhi aage badana chaahiye, jaise Dev ne kiya hai. Ateet ki yaadein bekaar hai(Why is she even here? If she's not your wife anymore, she should leave. This is the end for you, Chori. You should also move on, like Dev has done. Reminders of the past are useless.)

Anna (defiantly): "Barfi, mujhe yahaan rahane ki ijazat hai. Yah meri parivaar bhi hai, chaahe Dev kuch bhi chune(I'm allowed to be here. This is also my family, regardless of what Dev chooses.)

Barfi (scoffing): Parivaar? Jab tu apni shaadi ko barakaraar nahi rakh sake to aapane vah visheshaadhikaar kho diya. Aisa dikhawa mat karo jaise tum ab bhi apane ho(Family? You lost that privilege when you couldn't keep your marriage intact. Don't pretend like you still belong.)

Dev (intervening): Amma ji,ab bahut ho gaya hai. Choonki Anna abhi bhi is parivaar ki sadasy hain, isalie unaka sammaan kiya jaana chaahiye(enough is enough. Since Anna is still a member of this family, she needs to be respected)

Barfi (dismissively): Aadar karana? Kis kaaran ke liye? Mere damad ka dil barbaad kar rahe ho? Chorni, tumhe mauka mila hai. Ab jao(Respect? For what reason? Destroying the heart of my son-in-law? Anna, you've had your chance. Now leave)

Rajesh's expression showed his disbelief and sorrow as soon as he learned of Dev's second marriage. The father-son relationship, which had previously been close, was now severely damaged and Rajesh found it difficult to accept Dev's choices.

Rajesh (with disappointment): Mujhe umeed nahi thi ki tum aisa karoge, Dev. Mujhe nahi pata ki hamaare beta nahi rahane ke baad aap kaun the(I wasn't expecting that you would do this, Dev. I have no idea who you have been after you were no longer our son.)

Dev (defensively): Mujhe apana jeevan jeene ki ijazat hai, Dad. Main ateet mein jeena jaari nahi rakh sakata(I'm allowed to live my life, Dad. I can't continue living in the past)

Rajesh (coldly): Dev,tumane hamare bharose ko dhokha diya hai. Yah mere liye aashchary ki baat hai ki tum mujhase baat karane ki himmat hai. Maine is bete ko bada nahi kiya.Main ab tumhen apana beta nahi kah sakata(you have betrayed our trust. It is astonishing to me that you have the guts to speak to me. I did not raise this son. I can no longer call you as my son.)

Dev's comment only worsened the already simmering animosity in the family.

Dev (accusingly to Anna): Dhokebaaz, kya aap dekh sakate hain ki aapane kya kiya? Mujhe apane Dad ab tumhaare kaaran mere viruddh hain(can you see what you did? My own father is now against me because of you.)

Anna (hurt and defending herself): Dev,maine tumhe kisi aur se shaadi karane ke liye majaboor nahi kiya. Vah nirnay aap ki thi(I didn't force you to marry someone else. That decision was yours.)

Dev's faces with Anna and Anika were a reflection of his conflicting feelings. Even though he hates Anna, he struggled to love and care for Anika in the same way. His failure to completely embrace the new relationship was made difficult by the wounds from the past.

Dev (accusingly to Anna): Dhokebaaz! Tumane hamaara sab kuch nasht kar diya. Main tumhe dekh kar bardaasht nahi kar sakata(You destroyed everything we had. I can't stand to look at you)

Still, the scars from his previous marriage remained, making it difficult for him to give Anika the affection and attention she deserved, even after they were married.

Anika (tentatively): Devji, main bas aapako khush karani chaahati hoon. Kya vahaan kuch gadabad hai(I just want to make you happy. Is there something wrong?)

Dev (distantly): Yah tum nahi ho, Anika. Yah...yah jatil hai. Mujhe samay ki jaroorat hai(It's not you, Anika. It's... it's complicated. I need time.)

Anika's character took an unexpected turn as the family's complexities were revealed. Anika, struggling with a troubled history, transformed into Laila. This other persona exposed a tormented, angry, and arrogant side of her. Laila, who was battling her own inner demons, came to represent the trauma and difficulties that Anika was carrying within of her.

Anika (transformed into Laila, angrily): Mujhe kisi se daya ki avashyakta nahi hai! Anna, vishesh kar tum, mere raaste se door raho(I don't require pity from anyone! Anna, especially you, please stay out of my way!)

Anika's life became chaotic and unpredictable with Laila's abrupt appearance. Her behavior was an expression of her battle with split personality disorder, particularly when she was drunk.

Laila (recklessly): Mere liye koi maayane nahi rakhti! Main jo chahoon vo karane se mujhe koi nahi rok sakati(Nobody matters to me! Nobody can stop me from doing whatever I want!)

Laila's demeanor revealed her deep desire for Dev's full attention and love, as well as a possessive and passionate allure to him. Laila attempted to claim Dev for herself in this changed state, further complicating the dynamics within the family.

Laila (possessively): Dev meri hai! Use koi doosari nahi pa sakata. Main kisi ko bhi use mujhase cheenane nahi doongi(is mine! No one else can have him. I won't let anyone take him away from me.)

Laila's actions and words demonstrated a great drive to keep Dev close, and her possessiveness and intensity produced a chaotic situation inside the family.

Dev (concerned and bewildered): Anika, kya chal raha hai? Tum aisa kaam kyon kar rahe ho(what's going on? Why are you acting like this?)

Laila (dismissive): Anika? Mujhe nahi pata ki aap kisaki jikr kar rahe hain. Dev, main hi vah hoon jo tumase sacha pyaar karati hoon(I have no idea who you are referring to. Dev, I'm the one who truly loves you.)

Anna (worried): Dev,hamen usaki pishevar madad ki aavashyakta hogi. Hum is baat ko samajh nahi pa rahe hain(we will need her professional help. We are unable to understand this.)

Laila (defiantly): Anna, get out of here! Main Dev se pyaar karati hoon aur main use kisi ko apane se cheenane nahi doongi(I love Dev, and I'm not letting anyone take him from me.)

Anna (expressing her emotions): Is parivaar ke tootane ka mukhy kaaran kuch logon ke phaisale hain. Jab hum khush the to sab kuch toot gaya(Some people's decisions are the main reason why this family is crumbling. Just when we were happy, everything broke.)

Anika was experiencing mental distress as a result of the weight of Anna's remarks, which hung in the air. Gradually, the mood in the room changed, and the emotional cues caused the alter ego, Laila, to come out.

Laila (aggressively): Yah sab tumhari vajah se hai! Tumhari upasthiti, tumhari hastakshep. Tum sab kuch nasht nahi kar sakate, main kasam khati hoon(All of this is because of you! Your presence, your interference. You can't destroy everything, I swear!)

Unaware of the depth of Anika's inner struggles, Anna attempted to defuse the situation after being shocked by the abrupt change.

Anna (confused): Anika, kya ho raha hai? Aap itni gussa kyon kar rahe hain(what's happening? Why are you so angry?)

Laila (vehemently): Anika kamajor hai! Main use sab kuch barbaad nahi karane doongi. Tumhen Dev se door rahana hoga(is weak! I won't let her ruin everything. You need to stay away from Dev!)

When Anna and Dev walked into the club, they could feel the pounding beats of the music as they looked for a place to talk amidst the bustling crowd. They had no idea that Laila had changed into the attractive dancer on the floor, hidden from their perceptive gaze and shrouded in mystery.

Dev (noticing the dancer): Anna, aaie ek shaant kona khojen. Main is shor-sharaabe ke bina baat karana chahta hoon(let's find a quiet corner. I want to talk without all this noise.)

Dev's attention was drawn to the mysterious dancer on the dance floor as they made their way through the throng.

Dev (thoughtfully): Logo mein cheejon ka turant aakalan karne ki pravrtti hota hai. Use kareeb se dekho. Ve usaki parshwabhoomi se anabhigy hain(People have an impulse to judge things quickly. Watch her closely. They are ignorant of her background.)

Anna (curious): Aap kis ke baare mein baat kar rahe hain(Who are you talking about?)

Dev (nodding towards the dancer): Usaki. Haalaanki ve nrty ke peechhe ki mahila ko nahi jaanate, phir bhi log usake baare mein bakavaas karate hain(Her. Although they don't know the lady behind the dance, people talk nonsense about her.)

Anna (inquiring): Aapki kya matalab hai, Dev(What do you mean, Dev?)

Dev (reflecting): Anika ki mushkilen usake chehre ki tarah chipi rahati hain. Shaayad nirnay lene se pahale hamen ise samajhane ka prayaas karana hoga(Anika's difficulties remain concealed, like her face. Perhaps before we judge, we need to make an effort to understand it.)

(Says the person who is judging Anna 🙄😖😢😠)

The dimly lit bar was enveloped in an ethereal aura as the neon lights flickered in rhythmic patterns. Anika's alter ego, Laila, was standing in front of a full-length mirror. She was wearing an alluring outfit that highlighted her feisty and lively appearance. An expression of both turmoil and resolve adorned her eyes as she got ready to step onto the dance floor.

Laila entered the club's pulsating heart as the DJ easily transitioned into an energetic music. An exciting mood was created by the crowd's cheers blending with the thumping music.

Laila moved with a captivating blend of grace and defiance, her every step reflecting her turbulent feelings. The audience was enthralled with the mysterious dancer in their midst because of the aura of mystery created by the veil covering her face.

Anna (watching Laila): Usake nrty karane ke tareeke mein kuch behad khoobasoorat baat hai. Yah satah ke neeche ek toofan ki tarah hai(There's something hauntingly beautiful about the way she dances. It's like a storm beneath the surface.)

Dev (reflecting): Vah nrty ladaki ki gaharai aur kathinaiyon ko darshaata tha. Vah bhagane ki koshish karati dikh rahi hai(That dance reflected the girl's depth and hardships. She seems to be attempting to escape.)

After Laila's enthralling performance, the audience kept enjoying the lively atmosphere of the club. Dev and Anna were fascinated by the enigmatic dancer who had made a lasting impression that evening, even if they were unaware of Laila's true identity.

Dev (curious): Usaki kuch baaten mujhe aakarshit karati hain. Aisa lagata hai ki vah har dance moshan mein apana poora jor laga rahi hain(Something about her appeals to me. She seems to be putting all of herself into each dance motion.)

Anna (nodding): Aisi prateet hota hai ki vah apane nrty ke madhyam se lagabhag un bhaavanaon ko vyakt karane ka prayaas kar rahi hai jinaka varnan shabdon mein nahi kiya ja sakati(She nearly seems to be attempting to express feelings that words are unable to describe through her dancing.)

Dev (musing): Kahaani usaki hai, chaahe vah koi bhi ho. Shaayad hamen bahut jaldi nirnay nahi dena chaahiye(The story is hers, whoever she may be. Perhaps we shouldn't pass judgment too quickly.)

Anna (thoughtful): Haan. Har kisi ko apane svayan ke sangharshon ka saamana karana padata hai, jo kabhi-kabhi sabase apratyaashit tareekon se prakat ho sakate hain(yes. Everybody faces their own struggles, which can occasionally show themselves in the most unexpected ways)

Anna recalls the details of her life as well, including the difficulties she is currently facing. If only Dev could see into her soul.

With her true identity concealed behind the veiled elegance of her performance, the mystery dancer known only as Laila continued to captivate the club's patrons as the evening went on. Unaware of the dancer's and Anika's relationship, Dev and Anna were sucked into the mystery of the evening and had to navigate the depths of their own feelings among the throbbing beats and whirling lights.
