One of the raucous boys threw a punch Edward without waiting for more incitement. Tension in the night air crackled as the scuffle turned into a full-fledged physical fight. Edward is preventing the blow and strikes back. "I warned you." Edward moved with purpose and quickness. As he defended himself and made it apparent to the group that Anna was in his protection, his years of martial arts training paid off. Amid the hubbub, Anna is shouting. "Edward,dhyaan se(be careful!)" The sound of grunts and revving engines filled the air as the conflict went on. Driven by a strong desire to protect Anna, Edward held his ground in the face of overwhelming odds. Edward, breaking through in, "Vah ek ladaki se bhi badhakar hai. Vah meri sab kuch hai(she is more than a girl. She is my everything.)" The boisterous boys eventually scattered into the night, realizing they were outmatched, leaving Anna and Edward to stand by themselves on the poorly illuminated street. "Thank you, Edward.
