Mujhe Pyaar Hua

Edward POV:

People who were attracted to Edward's good looks, wealth, and charisma were all around him. But everything changed the moment he saw Anna. In sharp contrast to the women who were always competing for his attention, she was a humble and calm girl. He was left speechless by the way her inner beauty revealed itself. On this fresh Sunday morning, Edward and Anna had made up their minds to go to church together. Edward noticed, as they made their way to the church, by Anna's quiet beauty and her sincere innocence. Before the air filled with the sweet sounds of the choir, they had a warm conversation. "Anna, mujhe kahana hoga ki aapake vishvaas ke prati aapaki pratibaddhata kaafi saraahaneey hai. Main kabhi kisi aise vyakti se nahi mila jisakee raay itani drdhata se nihit ho(I have to say that your commitment to your faith is quite admirable. I have never encountered someone whose opinions are so strongly rooted.)" Despite being a Christian, Edward wasn't highly dedicated, but Anna was faithful. "Thank you, Edward. Mere liye mera vishvaas hi sab kuch hai. Yeshu hi vah hai jisane hame banaaya, aur usane kroos par hamaare paon ka prayashchit karne ke liye apana poora jeevan de diya. Hum bas itana kar sakate hai ki unake sabhi aasheervaadon ke liye unaka aabhaar vyakt karane aur hamase huee kisi bhi galati ke liye maafi mangne ke liye kuch samay nikaale. Yahi baat mujhe taakat deti hai aur mujhe zameen se jode rakhti hai. Mujhe khushi hai ki aapane aaj mere saath aane ka faisla kiya(For me, my faith is everything. Jesus is the one who created us, and he gave his entire life to atone for our sins on the cross. All we can do is take some time to express our gratitude to him for all of his blessings and to apologize for any mistakes we may have made. This is what gives me strength and keeps me grounded. I'm happy you chose to come join me today.)" Edward listened intently to what she had been saying, grinning. "Mujhe aamantrit karane ke liye dhanyavaad. Isame ek antarnihit sundarta hai, aur aapake saath yahaan hone se isaka arth hi badh jaata hai(Thank you for inviting me. This please has an inherent beauty, and being here with you only increases its meaning.)" Though Anna felt awkward in her heart, she was not aware that she was blushing. "Edward, tum bahut dayaalu ho. Is jagah ne mujhe hamesha aaraam aur shaanti ka ehsaas dilaaya hai, aur mujhe khushi hai ki aap bhi aisa hi mahasoos karate hai(you are too kind. This place has always brought me comfort and a sense of peace, and I'm happy that you feel the same way.)" The mass started as soon as they entered the church together. Edward was struck by how fervently Anna prayed, her hands grasped in silent adoration and her eyes closed. Edward became fascinated with Anna as soon as the chorus started to sing. She was even more intriguing because of her unwavering devotion to Jesus, which he had never witnessed before. As they exited the church and strolled along the cobblestone streets, Edward couldn't contain his emotions.

Edward:

A few days later, Happy Club:

A few days later, Edward arranged a gathering of the Happy Club—a special club of friends with an unconventional mission to encourage happiness. Instead of using the funeral parlor as a somber area, they transformed Peter Uncle's funeral store into a haven of laughter and joy. As the club's president, Edward was getting frustrated since, despite their best attempts to foster a cheerful and inviting environment, they hadn't been able to attract any new members recently. He called his besties Raj, Darsh, Deepak, and Ranbir together in the brightly colored room, festooned with streamers, balloons, and motivational quotations.

Darsh Rai-Karan Wahi:

Ranbir Sharma-Krishna Kaul:

"Guys, hame baat karani chaahiye. Hum apane Happy Club mein kisi bhi nae sadasya ko aakarshit nahi kar rahe hai, aur main kaafi chidhane laga hoon. Hamane is sthaan ko ek sakaaraatmak kendr mein badalane ki har asambhav koshish ki hai, lekin aisa nahi ho raha hai. Hum premiyon ko ek saath laane aur unhen khush karane ke apane mishan mein viphal ho rahe hai(we should talk. We're not attracting any new members to our Happy Club, and I'm starting to get pretty irritated. We've tried everything to turn this location into a positive hub, but it's not happening. We're failing in our mission of bringing lovers together and making them happy.)" Raj also had doubts about the club's future. "Edward, shaayad hum khud ko badhava dene ka behatar kaam kar sakate hai. Hame yah khabar phailaani chaahiye aur Happy Club ke lakshyon ko doosaron ke saamne pradarshit karna chaahiye(perhaps we might do a better job of promoting ourselves. We must spread the news and demonstrate the goals of the Happy Club to others.)" "I agree with Raj," Darsh shot back, nodding. "Social Media par kuch aakarshak poster aur post design kare. Sath hi, hame janata ke liye nishulk gatividhiyan ki yojana banane ke baare mein bhi sochana hoga(Let's design some visually striking posters and posts on social media. Also, we need to think about planning free activities for the public.)" Deepak came up with the ideal solution. "Kuch laabh upalabdh karaane ke baare mein kya khyaal hai? Jaise ki club ke sadasyon ko paas ke restaurent mein choot ki peshakash ya ek repharal kaaryakram jo hamaare vartamaan sadasyon ko nae graahak laane ke liye protsaahit karata hai(How about making certain benefits available? Such as offering club members discounts at nearby restaurants or a referral program that encourages our present members to bring in new customers.)" Darsh made a clarification, to which everyone nodded in accord. "Prem tatv par vichaar karana yaad rakhe. Aaie premiyon ko ek saath laane ke uddeshy se aur adhik gatividhiyon ki mejabaani kare. Hamaare liye, yah kuch aisa hai jo hame alag karata hai(Remember to consider the love element. Let's host more activities aimed at bringing lovers together. For us, that's something that sets us apart.)" Edward was overjoyed to have such wonderful friends who could encourage him to be optimistic. "Dosto ye bahut hi adbhut vichaar hai. Mujhe vishvaas hai ki hum isaka samaadhaan nikaal lenge(Guys, these are very amazing ideas. I'm confident that we will solve this.)" Peter, who had been silently tidying a corner of the room, interjected in the meantime. While the other Happy Club members were having discussions about how to draw in new members, Peter had been silently tidying up a corner of the room. But the longer they talked, the more agitated he became. It was becoming more difficult for him to accept the change since the funeral parlor had always been a place of solemn reflection and grief. "Jab aap mere paas aae to aap yuvaon ne apani Happy Club baithakon ke liye is sthaan ke lyie vyaavahaarik roop se mujhase vinati ki. Main sahamat ho gaya, aur ab ise dekho! Aapane is antim sanskaar kaksh ko ek rangeen, khushahaal circus mein badal diya hai. Seedhe shabdon mein kahe to yah galat hai(You youngsters practically begged me for this location for your Happy Club meetings when you came to me. I agreed, and now look at it! You've transformed this funeral parlor into a colorful, happy circus. Simply said, it's wrong.)" Edward gently answered. "Main jaanata hoon ki aap chintit hain, Peter Uncle, aur agar hamane aapako koi pareshaani pahunchai hai to main tahe dil se maafi maangata hoon. Haalaanki, aapako yah bhi mahasoos karana hoga ki hamaara lakshy is jagah ko khushahaal aur utsaahit banaana hai. Log yahaan apane antim alavida kahane aate hain, isalie hamane socha, "Kyon na unhe saare dukho ke beech thodi si khushi di jae(I know you're worried, Peter uncle, and I sincerely apologize if we caused you any bother. However, you also have to realize that our goal is to make this place happy and upbeat. People come here to say their last goodbyes, so we thought, "Why not offer them a little happiness in the middle of all the sorrow?)" Peter was still enraged and could take no more of their carefree attitude. "Na to aapaka mission aur na hi aapaki khushi mere liye mahatvapurn hai. Isi tarah main apani jeevika chalaata hoon, aur aap meri comapny ko nasht kar rahe hai. Aapako apane Happy Club ke liye ek nae sthaan ki talaash karani chaahiye(Neither your mission nor your happiness are important to me. This is how I make a living, and you're destroying my company. You should look for a new location for your Happy Club.)" Edward made no bones about how he felt. "Main aapako pareshaan nahi karana chaahata, Uncle, lekin main aapaki chintaon ko samajhata hoon. Haalaanki, is par thoda vichaar kare. Is kshetr mein bahut dukh aur shok hai. Hum samajhate hai ki kai log yahaan antim alavida kahane aate hai(I don't want to trouble you, uncle, but I do understand your worries. However, give it some thought. There is so much misery and grief in this area. We understand that many come here to say their last goodbyes.)" Peter was resolved to stop the Happy Club's activities in his funeral store since he had gotten tired of them once more. Peter didn't waver in his choice. "Edward, mere paas yah kaafi hai. Yah aapake Happy Club ke liye aapake dosto ke saath pack up karane ka samay hai. Aap yahaan antim sanskaar vyavasaay mein mere graahakon ko pareshaan kar rahe hai(I've had enough of this. It's time for your Happy Club to pack up along with your pals. You're upsetting my customers here at the funeral business.)" Edward made the decision to change the tone of their talk after recognizing how important this was to him and his pals. "Haalaanki, Yeeshu ne ek baar ghoshana ki thi, "Dhany hai ve jo shok manaate hain, kyonki unhe shaanti milegi." Vah nahi chaahate the ki hum lagaataar udaas rahe. Hamaari niraasha ke beech bhi, vah chaahate the ki hum prasann aur santusht rahe(However, Jesus once declared, 'Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted' He didn't want us to constantly be depressed. Even in the midst of our despair, he wanted us to be cheerful and content.)" Peter was bewildered. "Edward, mujhe yakeen nahi hai ki aap kya praapt kar rahe hai(I'm not sure what you're getting at.)" Edward elaborated on it. "Happy Club ke saath, hum is maahaul mein khushi aur aashaavaad laakar mrtakon ko shraddhaanjali dene ki ummeed karate hai. Hamaara lakshy jarooratamand logo ko saantvana aur aasha pradaan karana hai, lekin hum nukasaan ko door karane ya kam karane ki koshish nahi kar rahe hai. Hum sochate hai ki jab log behatar mahasoos karate hue is kshetr ko chhod denge, to Yeeshu ko unaki madad karane ke hamaare prayaason par garv hoga(With the Happy Club, we hope to pay tribute to the dead by bringing joy and optimism into this environment. We aim to provide consolation and hope to those who are in need, but we are not trying to take away or minimize the loss. We think that when individuals leave this area feeling better, Jesus would be proud of our efforts to help them.)" Peter thought about what Edward had said, and he couldn't help but notice the genuineness in his gaze. "Edward, mainne is par kabhi is tarah vichaar nahi kiya. Haalaanki, aapako shok aur mere vyavasaay ke saath sammaanapoorvak vyavahaar karane ki pratigya karani hogi(I never considered it that way. However, you must pledge to treat the mourning and my business with dignity.)" Edward gave a grateful nod. "Peter Uncle, main vaada karata hoon. Hum aapake graahak ki aavashyakataon aur samay ko dhyaan mein rakhenge. Hum bas un logo ka sammaan karana chaahate hai jo apane anoothe tareeke se chale gae hain aur is jagah ko thoda behatar aur ujjaval banaane ka prayaas karana chaahate hai. Peter Uncle, hame ek mauka do. Hamane ise vah sab kuch diya hai jo hamaare paas hai, aur hum shapath lete hain ki hum aapaki company ka adhik dhyaan rakhenge. Saath milakar, hum ek aisa santulan banaane ki koshish karenge jo hamaare dono hito ko poora kare(I promise. We'll take your client's requirements and time into consideration. All we want to do is honor those who have departed in our own unique way and try to make this place a little bit better and brighter. Peter, give us a chance. We've given this everything we've got, and we swear we'll take greater care of your company. Together, we'll seek to strike a balance that serves our interests both.)" Peter paused, caught between his frustration and Edward's sincere request. "Theek hai, Edward. Haalaanki, aapako apane vachan ka sammaan karana chaahiye. Mere parivaar ki viraasat yah hai ki yah antyeshti grh abhi bhi vyavasaay ke liye khula hai. Please mujhe niraash mat karo(Okay, Edward. However, you must honor your word. My family's legacy is that this funeral home is still open for business. Please don't fail me.)" Reluctantly giving the Happy Club's permission to carry on with their goal of bringing joy to the funeral shop, Peter acknowledged that their goal was to make people feel better and comforted rather than to cause any disruption to the somber ambiance. He was willing to give Edward's remarks another shot because they had struck a chord with him regarding Jesus and finding solace even during difficult circumstances. The Happy Club members were enjoying beer and one other's company at their converted funeral store on a chilly evening. Usually, the environment was one of fun and friendship, but this time, Raj seemed clearly upset, which worried his buddies right away. "Guys, main samajh nahi pa raha hoon ki kya karoon. Main sachamuch udaas hoon hai. Mariyam aur main shaadi ke liye ek saath rahana chaahate hai, lekin hamaare parivaar isame baadha ban rahe hai. Hum unake dvaara tode ja rahe hai( I'm at a loss on what to do. I'm really depressed. Maryam and I want to be together for marriage, but our families are getting in the way. We are being torn apart by them.)" Deepak felt worried about the situation.

Deepak Shergill-Siddharth Nigam:

"Kya ho raha hai Raj? Aapako isaka apane oopar bada prabhaav nahi padane dena chaahiye(What's going on, Raj? You must not allow this to have a major effect you.)" He is agreed with by Darsh. "Hame batao kya ho raha hai, dost(Tell us what's going on, buddy.)" With concern in his eyes, Raj inhaled deeply.

Raj Shetty- Pravisht Mishra:

"Mariyam ki suraksha usake ghar ke chaar bodyguard karate hai. Ve usaki har harakat par najar rakh rahe hai. Main usake baare mein dara hua hoon aur samajh nahi pa raha hoon ki kaise madad karoon(Maryam is guarded by four bodyguards from her home. They are observing everything she does. I'm afraid about her and unsure of how to help.)" President of the Happy Club Edward stared at his friend in despair, determination shining in his eyes. "Hamaara mission khushiyaan laana aur premiyon ko ek saath laana hai, Raj. Hum tumhe kasht sahate hue asahaay hokar nahi dekh sakate. Hum aapaki madad karenge. Is sthiti se baahar nikalane ke liye kya aap mere saath Delhi ki yaatra karana chaahenge(Our mission is to bring happiness and bring lovers together, Raj. We cannot watch helplessly as you suffer. We'll help you. To get out of this situation, would you be willing to travel to Delhi with me?)" Raj nodded, appreciative of his friends' encouragement. Edward, Raj, and the other two parted ways to start getting ready and went in search of the girl who might be able to help them. From a distance, Edward recognized Anna as the person he had been looking for. When she got closer, he gave her a wave. "Vah aapaka intajaar kar raha hai. Kya tum Delhi aaoge(He has been waiting for you. Will you come to Delhi?)" The thought of having to travel all the way there irritated Anna. "Us kutte ke saath rahane ke liye ab mujhe Delhi jaana hoga. Bilkul. main lambe samay se intajaar kar raha hoon(To be with that dog, I now have to travel all the way to Delhi. Okay, fine. I've been waiting a long time.)" Edward couldn't understand why Anna had given Raj the affectionate name of "dog." Raj corrected Edward, pointing to the real person they were meeting. "Phir aapane apane paalatu jaanavar ka jikr kiya.Yah samajh aata hai. Kshama kare, hamaara sampark vahaan par hai(You mentioned your pet, then. That makes sense. Sorry, our contact is over there.)" Now frightened, Anna misinterpreted the circumstances. "Kya ho raha hai? Kya tum log us ladaki ka apaharan kar rahe ho(What's happening? Are you people kidnapping that girl?)" Despite her confusion, Anna chose to put her trust in Edward and his friends. They saw that Maryam was hiding her identity by donning a burqa when they got closer to the girl. A crowd had begun to form in the mall, so they had to get out fast.Raj, Maryam, Edward, and Anna were in the middle of the chaos as it was happening in the busy mall. Still not understanding the circumstances, Anna lost control of her panic and started calling for assistance, believing Raj and his companions were kidnappers. "Help! Kidnappers! Help, please!" Edward was taken aback and started stammering. "No-no-no, Anna, we're not ab-abductors! No-no- Hum kisi ka apaharan nahi  kar rahe hai. Hum use ek kroor parivaar se bachaane ki koshish kar rahe hai. Voh use usake jeevan ke pyaar Raj se door rakhane ki koshish kar rahe hai. Vahaan mujhase milo, Raj(Anna, we're not kidnapping anyone. We're trying to save her from a ruthless family. They're trying to keep her away from Raj, the love of her life. Meet me over there, Raj!)" Unaware of the actual circumstances, Anna went on to defend herself. "Aap dekhie, jab mainne ek pet ka order diya to mujhe vishvaas tha ki aap log delivery karmachaari the. Haalaanki, main aaj itana nishchit nahi hoon(You see, I believed you guys were the delivery workers when I ordered a pet. However, I'm not so sure today.)"  Maryam, Edward, and Raj pushed their way quickly through the gathering, seeking to avoid being caught by Maryam's pursuing security. As the situation worsened, the anxiety in the mall was evident. Darsh and Deepak were facing the bodyguards. "Ruko! Vah tumhaare saath jaane se inkaar kar deti hai!Tum usake saath kaheen nahi ja rahe ho!(Stay back! She refuses to go along with you! You're not going anywhere with her!)" In order to secure their escape to Delhi, where they hoped to find safety and happiness together, Raj, Edward, and the others were determined to release Maryam from her kidnappers. "Hum tumhe yahaan se nikaal denge. Bas paas raho, aur hum sunishchit karenge ki tum aur Raj ek saath rah sake(We'll get you out of here. Just stay close, and we'll make sure you and Raj can be together.)" In the meantime, Edward was approached by a worried man who had heard the disturbance in the crowd. Still perplexed, Anna made the decision to act and pointed to Edward, calling him the supposed kidnapper. "Yahaan kya sthiti hai? Kya aap kidnapper hai*What's the situation here? Are you the kidnapper?)" Angry, Anna answered, "Haan, vah vahi hai(Yes, that's him!" When Edward realized how serious the situation was, his heart fell. Anna changed her mind and screamed out to the oncoming police officers just when it looked like there was no hope left. "Wait! Mainne aapako kabhi nahin ataaya ki vah kidnapper tha(I never told you he was a kidnapper.)" Anna explained the circumstances. "Nahi, yah sach nahi hai! Jab mainne use dekha to asali kidnapper doosri disha mein ja raha tha. Is aadami ne ek nirdosh vyakti par jhootha aarop lagaaya(No, that isn't true! The real kidnapper was moving in the other direction when I saw him. This man accused an innocent person falsely.)" Now that they had Anna's explanation, the police officers turned to look at the nervous guy who had leveled the false charge. "Sir, please hamaare saath chale. Apane kisi par jhootha aarop lagaaya hai(accompany us. You have falsely accused someone.)" Edward was relieved when the police escorted the man away. "I'm grateful, Anna. Mujhe aapake dvaara jhoothe aarop se bachaaya gaya. Main aapaki madad ke liye sadaiv aabhaari rahoong(I was rescued from a false allegation by you. I'll be grateful for your help always.)" Relieved that the misunderstanding was over, Anna grinned and watched Raj and Maryam travel to Delhi in the hopes of finding acceptance and fulfillment in their love for one another. The Happy Club persisted in its goal of bringing lovers together by reassuring everyone that joy and love could triumph over unforeseen obstacles. Raj and Maryam's search for approval and contentment in their relationship carried on as they traveled to Delhi. They maintained their relationship, and with the Happy Club's assistance, they were secretly married in a private ceremony. Anna was now a vital member of the group, having contributed significantly to the resolution of the mall crisis.  He turned to Anna, waving goodbye.

Then he started singing the song "Prem ki naiyya hai Ram ke bharose" from the Bollywood film "Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani." The crowd joins him dancing.

O sweety, by coming and going from my dreams

You've stolen my sleep

O sweety, by coming and going from my dreams

You've stolen my sleep

You made lightning strike me

And you stole me from myself

Might pass without attaining love

Look my life passing, what should I do

There must be some solution to this

Where you become mine

And that you love me for life, what should I do

Which chant should I recite

What magic should I do

So that you can see the love in my eyes
