(In my oneshots, the genders could have the same pronouns as in here, aka they/them, but you could imagine your gender in the stories. This one confirms the gender of the reader.)

O/N's POV

Nobody really understands what you go through until they go through it. Some say it's easy to get over things like that. It's not. It takes skill to ignore the thoughts, the hate bullets, and the judgement.

"Why can't you just be a normal girl?!"

"Why do you act so weird? Aren't you supposed to be a boy?"

"Act proper. You're a girl."

"Man up. You're a boy."

Why does everyone always assume I'm certain gender? I need a break.

"I'm not-"

"Why don't you like dressing up? I thought all girls liked that.."

"You don't play football? I thought boys liked to play it.."

"Let me talk please-"

"Fashion is a must have when you're a girl."

"Really? That's to girly for you. Boys are strong and don't need silly stuff like fashion."

Teardrop's POV

I grabbed O/N and shook them. They zoned out after Leafy asked about their family.

O/N thankfully woke up from their thoughts. "Huh?" They asked.

Leafy walked next to me. "Are you ok? You zoned out for a while." O/N had a look of shock expressed on their face. "Oh. To be honest, I'm really not ok. Nobody else besides you two know that I'm non-binary, and I'm scared to come out. Things could get bad.." I heard O/N mumble something else, but couldn't make out what it was.

I made them look me in the eyes. I started to sign to them.

'If things get bad, don't forget that we're here too.' I gave them a warm smile. O/N seemed to feel a lot better after that. "Thanks TD. That means a lot." I could feel my face get warm. Their voice was calming. I hated to see them upset. They deserve happiness just like everyone else.

O/N'S POV

I felt a bit more calm about everything because of Teardrop's signed words. I sighed and mustered up the little bit of courage I had to tell everyone the news. "I'm ready to tell everyone my gender." Leafy and Teardrop smiled at me and walked with me to where everyone was just hanging out. Taco noticed us. "Hey guys!" Leafy talked first. "Hey! We're just here to make one thing clear." Teardrop nodded in agreement. 

"And what is that one thing?" Blocky asked.

I stuttered. "W-well..I uh..I have...decided t-that um.."

Everyone was getting impatient with me. (Excluding Teardrop and Leafy)

I'm gonna say it. Loud and clear. Breathe, O/N.

I took a deep breath. I'm ready.

"I am non-binary from now on. My pronouns are (enter what your pronouns are), and you will respect that. I am no longer considered a female or a male."

It was silent for a while. Leafy and Teardrop looked proud of me, and I'm proud of myself too. I heard clapping from behind me. I turned around to see Four with a very proud look on their face.

"I support you." They said.

One by one everyone started clapping for me. (👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 I SUPPORT YOU TOO 😁) Leafy hugged me tight, and Teardrop looked at the ground out of shyness. Wonder what that could mean. After Leafy stopped hugging me, Teardrop started to look at me. "Hey, are you ok?" I asked her. She didn't answer me. She just smiled.

She kissed me.

The clapping and cheering got louder. It finally happened.

Teardrop's POV

I can't express how much I love O/N. The only way I can do that is my kissing them. It was wonderful! I waited all of this time, and now this is finally happening. I just hope they feel the same way. We stopped kissing and I started to sign.

'I hope you feel the same about me.'

O/N started to tear up. (Mini Teardrops LOL-) Oh no! Did I make them sad? My face turned to worry as they continued to cry. Then I heard them speak. "OF COURSE I FEEL THE SAME, YOU IDIOT!" They hugged me. All of my worries were brought off of my shoulders.

(A few years into the future)

O/N's POV

"And that's how I started dating your mother." I told the kids.

That was so cute OMG I-
