(Third person POV)

Stapy was sitting on his bed, near the end, holding a dark teal flower crown made of leaves.

There was one thought that wouldn't leave his head.

Foldy...

He was absolutely heartbroken by Foldy's disappearance.

She left for a short trip about 3 months ago, never returning afterwards.

He didn't know why at first, but then it hit him.

He loves her...

At this very moment, he just wanted to see her, hug her, kiss her, but he couldn't, so he decided to go for a walk in the park.

He put the crown down, and got ready to go.

"Well they say people come..." he sang.

"They say people go..."

He went to the door.

"This particular diamond was extra special..."

And went through it.

"And though you might be gone..."

"And the world may not know..."

He began his route.

"I still see you celestial..."

He started heading towards a nearby hill, not to far from the entrance to the dead silent park.

The pebbles crunched quietly under his feet, shifting with each step.

"Like a lion you ran..."

"A goddess you rolled..."

Nothing. No sound at all, except for quiet singing.

"Like an eagle you circled, in perfect purple..."

Tiny tears ran out his eyes.

"So how come things move on..."

"How come cars don't slow..."

"When it feels like the end of the world..."

Turning on a new path, his mental stability decreased forever slowly.

"When I should but I can't let you go..."

He went onward.

"But when I'm cold, cold..."

The tears grew larger, much to his dismay.

Stapy sighed in dissatisfaction.

"There's a light that you give me, when I'm in shadow..."

He fought on.

"There's a feeling you give me, an everglow..."

Failing, but still fighting.

"Like brothers in blood..."

He reached the foot of the hill.

"Sisters who ride..."

Starting up it delicately.

"And we swore on that night, we'd be friends 'til we die..."

The tears became stronger.

He felt like he couldn't live any longer.

"Life as short as the falling of snow..."

His legs felt heavier than before.

"And now I'm gonna miss you, I know..."

He barely reached the top. His mind stuffed with waterworks.

"But when I'm cold, cold..."

He limped his arms to his sides.

"In water rolled, salt..."

The tears from before were falling faster now.

"I know that you're with me, and the way you will show..."

He was on the sheer edge of his stability now.

"And you're with me wherever I go..."

Approaching the top of the opposite slope.

"And you give me this feeling..."

He spread his arms wide.

"This everglow..."

Slowly coming to a halt.

The tears broke free from his eyes.

Falling like a waterfall.

He cried on, he didn't care anymore.

He choked on the lyrics.

"What I wouldn't give for just a moment to hold..."

Stopping in place on the dip.

"And I live for this feeling, this everglow..."

He sat down carefully onto the moist grass.

His sadness still in him.

But now calmer than before.

"So if you love someone, you should let them know..."

"Oh the light that you left me, will everglow..."

We were off the moon now, thank grief for that.

It was awfully quiet in the car.

I decided to break the silence.

"What was the name of that place?"

No reply.

For 20 seconds.

"I did." Was the reply I was searching for. From Nickel.

"What was its name?"

"I believe it was, tranquility base, something and something. Something like that."

"Thanks Nickel." I thanked.

"Huh" was all that I thought after that.
