Aisha: "Are you ok?"

Jaclyn:" I'm fine just leave me alone." I said closing my diary and and getting up straightening up my room.

Aisha: "What just happened?"

Jaclyn: "Didn't Jamircle just tell you what happened?"

Aisha: "Why do you do that?'

Jaclyn: "Do what?"

Aisha: "push me away"

I just stared at her then replied......

Jaclyn: " I don't"

Aisha: "Yes you do, Look I shouldn't tell you this but I went in your diary and you stated that if it wasn't for writing you would lose your mind because you have absolutely no one to talk to because no one understands you"

Jaclyn: "You went in my diary?" I said as my eyes grew wider

Aisha shamefully replied, "Yeah but I wasn't trying to invade your privacy I was just........

I cut her off

Jaclyn: Wow I can't have a boyfriend, I can't go out with my friends, I don't have a phone, and now I have no privacy. Everything just keeps getting better and better.

Aisha: ok sarcasm isn't really needed.

Jaclyn: Just get out

Aisha: fine she walked out of the door and slammed it.

As the next few days went by I started getting more and more disgusted with the world. Why is it that I try to stay positive and keep repeating in my mind that it's all going to be worth it soon and it only gets worst and worst, while these other girls that are messy stuck up brats seem like that get almost every single thing that they want? Why even bother trying anymore.

AT HOME

Jamircle: so what is that you want you try out for today?

Jaclyn: Nothing I don't care about any of this anymore .

Jamircle: What's up what's up with all of this sassiness?

Jaclyn: What sassiness?

Jamircle: Don't try to make me look stupid. What's your problem lately?

Jaclyn: Nothing

In my head I was saying You! you are my problem everyday I come home I'm frustrated and I just want to be able to come talk to you and pour my heart out but I am unable to do that because you are always taking your issues out on me.

Jamircle: Hello I know you hear me talking to you.

Jaclyn: Ma'am what did you say?

I didn't hear what she said because I was too busy thinking...

Jamircle: O so you are ignoring me now?

Jaclyn: no it's not like that I.........

Jamircle: Just shut up.

I rolled my eyes and walked to the back

Jaclyn: Hey Aisha

Aisha: So you are talking to me today

Jaclyn: What do you mean I always talk to you.

Aisha: no you don't

Jaclyn: you can"t get mad because I don't like sharing my personal feelings with you.

Aisha: I'm your sister Jaclyn I should be able to come tell you my problems and you should be able to come tell me your problems.

Jaclyn: look you wouldn't understand my problems

Aisha: how do you know you've never talk to me.

I just shook my head and walked away I guess at this point everyones mad at me. Kids at school are mad at me because I'm smart, Aisha"s mad at me because of a comment I made in MY diary, and Jamircle's mad just to be mad.

2 DAYS LATER

Teacher: Go to the board Jaclyn and do number 7

Jaclyn: I don't want to

Teacher: Excuse me

Jaclyn: I said I don't want to

Teacher: Why not

Jaclyn: Because I don't feel like it (My tone started to get louder)

Teacher: Look this isn't me asking you this is me telling you.

I put my head down in hopes that she'll leave me alone.

Teacher: Jaclyn

Jaclyn: What?

Teacher: Were waiting on you

Jaclyn: I don't know what y'all are waiting on me for

Class: OOOO

Teacher: Like I said I didn't ask you to do anything I told you to do something

Jaclyn: look you can't make me do something I don't want to do ok end of conversation.

Teacher: Terra go to the board and Jaclyn see me after class

I was already in trouble so I decided just to sleep through out the rest of class

AFTER CLASS

Teacher: What was all of that about?

Jaclyn: Nothing I just wasn't in the mood today.

Teacher: Look I don't care what your problem is you have absolutely no right to take your anger out on me.

Jaclyn: Hold on have you ever stopped to think that maybe if you would have stop bugging me after I said that I didn't want to do it that maybe it wouldn't have went that far.

Teacher: That has absolutely nothing to do with nothing you..

Jaclyn: No wait see you teachers always get to talk and we have to listen how about this time I talk and you listen. I'm not trying to be rude or disrespectful but you all feel like y'all can say whatever you want to us but as soon as we say something back we are so called being "Disrespectful" that's not fair. Sometimes kids have a lot on their shoulder and just need a break.

Teacher: O come on what possibly could a child be going through. I mean y'all don't pay no kind of bills, Y'all don't work and have a family to go home and feed. Y'all don't know half of the stress we adults go through.

Jaclyn: Bye

I then walked out of the class because I hate when adults do that. When you tell them that you are stressed or upset about something they always bring up the fact that they have bills,jobs, family and a bunch of other stuff...... then they go on and on about how other kids in other parts of the world don't have anything to eat at all and are sick and dying everyday, And yes I hate that little kids have to go through that and it might not seem like it but kids like me actually do have a reason to be stressed or upset.

During the Next Class

Teacher: ok class today I want to introduce you to various career options. The first sheet is going to help you learn your strengths and weaknesses. The second sheet will show you what career choices fit you perfectly based on the the answers you put on the first sheet. Ok you guys may get started.

Brianna: O I think I found about three of these things that fit me perfectly.

Jaclyn: I found a lot of things but I got my eyes on on arts, technology and communications.
