Only a pure heart can fix a broken one..

{Ashleigh's POV}

After I had finished eating my strawberries I tided up the kitchen and went to my room. I flopped down on my bed, as my head hit the pillow it made a -poof!- sound. I rolled over facing up and put my forearm offer my eyes with a sigh. Sooner or later I heard footsteps resonate through the hallway.

I took my hand away but my eyes were still closed, a smile managed to tug at my lips but quickly turned into a frown. My ears perked up and my tail swayed slowly, signifying that I was calm, in my opinion anyway. I got up and went to the front door. I figured out that the footsteps belonged to Jax, who stood at my door frame before leaving.

As I reached the front door I sat down and put on my boots. I stood up with my head down as I walked to the door, but shot my head up when I realised someone was I front of me. It was Jaxon looking down at me with his arms crossed. I looked up at him and raised an eyebrow with a frown. Does he have Super Sonic Speed or something?

"Where are you going? It's late." He pulled me close to him, which turned into a hug. My eyes widened a little from the sudden embrace. I opened my mouth but quickly closed it again. I then found the courage to speak.

"Out, obviously." I said annoyed, as I rolled my eyes. He didn't see though, thankfully. He chuckled slightly which made me feel like something bad was going to happen. I swallowed and looked away.

"Yeah? I don't think so..." As he finished this sentence he nuzzled my jawline with his nose. I stiffened slightly uncomfortable and my cheeks flared from the contact. His arms tightened around my waist and I felt really uncomfortable at this point. I opened my mouth but nothing came out at first, Jaxon licked my cheek playfully making me as red as anything.

"J-Jaxon...? L-let me g-go..." I heard him chuckle right next to my tiger ear. I shivered and my cheeks just continued to get redder. He kept bringing us closer and I tried to squirm out of his grasp, but failed due to his strength. My ears started to slowly droop and my tail was going straight down.

"I quite like this position, don't you?" He whispered in my ear, I shivered and I felt trapped to be honest. I felt his tail brush the side of my leg softly. Jaxon then picked me up and wrapped my legs around his waist and continued to bring us closer. He eventually pinned me to the wall, holding me so I didn't move. I felt like he was a predator, stalking his prey's every move.

I let out a shaky breath and looked into his eyes. They looked mischievous. My cheeked flushed again as I looked up at him. He came down towards my neck and started nuzzling his nose on my neck and shoulders. My eyes widened slightly, as I gasped almost inaudible. He was at least a head taller than me so I was basically trapped under him.

"J-Jaxon? W-What are you doing? P-P-Please stop..." He moved his head back and looked down at me with a smirk while I tilted my head confused. He started to play with my hair as he was still looking into my eyes. Well, eye but whatever. I started fiddling with my necklace and looked down.

"I'm playing, don't you want to play with me?" His voice was different, it wasn't his. I don't know how else to describe it, but like that. I felt his hand placing itself on my thigh. I jerked my head up looked into his eyes. He staring at me intensely and engaged. I shivered again because his hand was cold and also because of the position we were in. I looked away embarrassed.

He chuckled at my movements and my cheeks grew hotter. He picked me up again and wrapped my legs around his waist once more. But he surprised me by scratching behind my ear. I was shocked at first but leaned into it and started purring. I had my head on his chest and started nuzzling my head on him slowly from how good the scratching felt.

I smiled and a blush made its way to my cheeks again. He stopped scratching and cupped a hand over my cheek, I looked over to him and stared into his eyes. I started to sweat and felt hot. I panted a little bit and heard heavy footsteps on the wooden floorboards behind me. I turned around to see a very, very, very, VERY pissed off Tigger. She came over to the two of us and put me down.

She turned and glared at Jaxon, possibly mind linking him, and he went down the hallway to his room with a disappointed expression. Tigger looked down at me and hugged me tightly. I hugged her back as she patted my back.

"Ashleigh, oh my god. I'm so sorry." She shook her head sadly and looked me in the eyes as hers were tearing up. I looked at her confused and she continued,

"Once again, I am so, so sorry. J-Jaxon is in heat right now... I should have warned you beforehand, then that wouldn't have happened..." I tilted my head a little to the side confused once again.

"What's 'heat'? Is it like an emotional period of time?" She shakes her head and started to sweat and get nervous. Oh.

"H-Heat is....u-u-um....." She stopped for a second, overwhelmed, and she started to go red from embarrassment I'm guessing.

"You know t-those, um, PDHPE classes that are r-really awkward to t-t-talk about?" I nodded somewhat understandingly. I flushed too, but darker then herself.

"W-Well, it's that kind of time for him. All m-mystical creatures have it. For example; like wolves, Mef'was, and Tigers. It's when a person is v-very sexually active and don't really know w-what their d-doing.... I'm sure you understand..?" She asked me so she didn't have to explain. I nodded, I didn't completely understand everything but I got the idea of it.

"Thank god, now. What did he do to you?" She looked at me curiously and I sighed as my cheeks flushed. I explained to her everything that happened, even when I told him to stop. Her eyes went wide for a second, then she regained her composure. She shook her head shamefully.

"Oh my god... I'll have to talk to him about this. What were you trying to do? Before...yeah..." She stammered.

"I was coming to the door to put on my boots to go for a walk. But, didn't quite get there..." She nodded at me knowingly, I looked down.

"Why didn't you call out to me, Ashleigh?" She said quietly, I looked up and found the courage to speak.

"Every time I tried to speak, I either couldn't or Jax distracted me..." I looked down at my lap shamefully and my face went red with embarrassment. She nodded and hugged me again. We both started to slowly get up as she sighed.

'Well this was an eventful evening.' I told her through mind link so we didn't disturb Jaxon. She chuckled and hugged me again, I slowly hugged back. We pulled away from the hug and we both smiled.

'I have a quick question to ask.' She nodded for me to continue. So I did.

'Why does Jaxon have heat if we're only 13..?' Silence followed that sentence. Even for a moment I thought our breathing had stopped. She started sweating and swallowed loud enough for me to hear. I looked away embarrassed by my own question.

'Well.... I'm not entirely sure. It might be an early effect compared to humans and other species such as Elves. But boys to start to get heat before us girls do, so I'm going to assume it's another 'Mystical creatures' theory.' I nodded understanding her.

"Can I go out now?" I asked in a whisper. She shook her head no. What, why?

"Early in the morning, but not now. It's too dangerous at night." I gave her puppy dog eyes, ironically, and pleaded to her with all my heart. She sighed after a few minutes and finally gave in. I fist pumped the air and dabbed with an almost silent laugh. She shook her head at me with a smile, turned me around and pushed me over to the door.

"Just don't go too far." I nodded at her and headed outside. Alright, let's go.

I walked around the perimeter of the cabin first, just because. It's actually nice around the outside, I hadn't noticed before, I found this cute little hiding spot you can crouch down in. It has flowers around it and gives it a cute look. It's just wide enough for two people to squeeze in.

I walked over to the edge of the cliff and sat down there, looking at the stars. My eyes sparkled at the sight, the moon was full and shining brighter than anything I've ever seen. I looked down to see the lake's water had a transparent glow in the moonlight. Suddenly, I felt someone push my back forcefully. I almost fell off the cliff, I would have if my hand didn't catch the edge. I started to breath in and out to calm myself down.

I managed to pull myself up quickly before I lost my grip, to my relief. I looked around and no-one was there. I'm terrified right now. I sighed and sat back on the edge of the cliff. About 10 minutes later I heard footsteps behind me, I turned around to see a male figure walking towards me.

It took me a moment to realise it was Jaxon, with his piercing turquoise eyes fixated on me. I was startled for a second but regained my composure as he came closer to me.

"What are you doing out here?" He crouched down beside me and held my hand. He looked up at me and smirked, charming, note my sarcasm. I was scared a bit and crawled backwards.

Without realising the cliff was right behind me I fell again, but this time Jaxon caught my wrist just in time. I grabbed hold of his wrist with the same hand he was holding, scared for my life.

Though I knew the lake was below me I was still scared. I didn't realise that a few tears had escaped from my eyes either. I looked up to him afraid as he looked into my eyes and began to pull me up. But he was struggling to keep a grip on my arm, and his eyes were wide from what had just happened. He kept trying to bring me up.

"Hold on! Just hang tight!" My mind flashed for a brief moment as my eyes widened. My mouth gaped a little, this seems so familiar.......but where from? I didn't realise that I had loosened my grip on his wrist until my mind came back to my body. I had a head rush and my surroundings went black for a moment, but then everything came back after a few seconds.

Before I knew it I had accidentally let go of his wrist and fell from the cliff. My tears kept falling as I reached my hand up to him calling his name. He dove off the cliff after me, I started to hyperventilate as I tried to blink my tears away. Within arms reach of Jaxon I grabbed him and held onto him tight, my tears soaking his shirt. He hugged me back, just as tight and whispered something that I didn't quite hear. I closed my eyes waiting for the water to compact my skin.

{Jaxon's POV}

As she fell I dove off after her. I couldn't lose her, not today anyway she was too important. Within an arms length away from her she wrapped her arms around me tightly, I hugged back but tighter.

"I can't lose you, not now...." I whispered more to myself then her. I doubt she heard me, but I can't lose her. She's everything that Tigger and myself need for us to remain a strong Clan.

{Ashleigh's POV}

We hit the water but I didn't feel wet, I felt dry like I had been before. I opened my eyes to see a cavern filled with glistening gems and jewels that decorated the walls. Spikes hanging from the ceiling with almost transparent, clear water dripping down. It was only then I noticed that Jaxon was holding me close to his chest. In bridal style position. I was shocked and fidgeted around then fell out of his arms onto the floor. Yeah, great.

I put a thumbs up and got up myself. He looked at me concerned and I just waved him off. I began to walk around the cave and looked around spotting different coloured jewels, instead of just light blue ones. Red, green, light purple, yellow, orange, pink and many more colours filled the walls.

"Where are we?" I asked him amazed by my surroundings. He looked over to me, then somewhere else and spoke:

"I don't know. But, I'm glad your safe." I nodded and kept walking, but at a faster pace. He tried to keep up with me but couldn't................ what? I'm impatient and want to see what's at the end of here.

"Slow down will ya Ash?" I just waved behind me and kept looking around until I almost tripped over something. I looked down at my feet to see a pickaxe that was probably made of Copper, Iron or some other metal. I didn't really pay a attention to the Periodic's Table in Science.

I picked it up to see words engraved into it. It read this:

'One day, just one day, She will come and save us all...' She? Who's she? Also when was this done? Just so that I can calculate if he's talking about modern times or not. It looks old, but it's hard to tell. I pondered for a moment but then dropped the pickaxe, on my foot. Crap. I've told you before and I'll say it again, I'm clumsy.

"Ow! Ow! Ow! Ow! Ow! Oowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww!" I groaned and jumped around holding my foot in pain. Jaxon just stared at me like I was a retard. I panicked. I had stopped jumping around and put my foot down, still in pain. I put my hands behind my back and started whistling like nothing happened. He shook his head at me and kept walking ahead.

"Hey wait!" He waved his hand behind him and kept walking, like I had done earlier. That was my trick! I rolled my eyes and ran after him, once I reaching him I tackled him to the floor. I heard him groan and I sat on his back.

"I told you to wait! Stupid!" I got off him and helped him up to his feet. He smiled at me sheepishly, boys these days. I gave an awkward smile and rubbed the back of my neck. I made an 'o' shape with my mouth and started walking again, a little bit more anxious to get out of here.

We made it to a dead end and I groaned in frustration and stormed back to where we started, before we had started walking. I grabbed an orange gem on the way and put it in my pocket. What? It was sparkly and I wanted it. Once I made it back to the start I noticed a pool of water. Hmm, interesting.

I heard Jaxon run to up to me panting with his hands on his knees once he had reached me. He put up one finger meaning for me to wait a second. I rolled my eyes at him and looked away, I then heard Tigger's voice in my head.

'Ashleigh, where are you? I've been looking for you and Jax for about 15 minutes. I'm starting to get worried.'

'I was at the cliff and was pushed but no body was there. Then Jaxon came up and I fell, startled, and he jumped after me. Right now I'm in a weird crystal cave with gemy things on the walls and i have no clue how to get out.'

'Well then... where's Jaxon? Is he with you? I can't mind link him is all.'

'He's with me, he just ran after me so he's panting like a dog, and is practically about to go 'Super San mode' on me at any moment now.' I tell her a bit aggravated.

'Is he still in heat? Or does that ware off after an hour or so?' I could feel that she was uncomfortable, but she answered none the less.

'Umm, it normally lasts for about a week and a half at the most... it's happened before but not a lot. Why do you ask?' She managed to not stutter saying that, I'm proud. Not really but anyway.

'I just wondered because he hasn't been like that for a while. But I'm sure he will sooner or later.'

'He comes in and out of it... he will be flirty for about an hour but then completely different, or normal for a while. But then the next 30 minutes to an hour he's flirty again. It's very odd, he comes out at any random intervals...' As she says this he's being flirty and trying to grab my hand but I swat it away. He keeps trying to get at my eye level and trying to flirt with me, but I keep walking away annoyed.

'Alright, thanks Tigger. I'll try and get us out of here as soon as possible. If I can I'll let you know when we're out.' I nodded confirming my choice in my head. I looked over to Jaxon with a 'Try-me-one-more-time-and-I'll-kill-you' look, and he backed away with his hands up in defence, snickering. That little brat.

'Alright... good luck. Just try, if your not back in 20 minutes I'll dive into the lake to look for you.' I frown and put a hand to my chin trying to work out how we got here. This is very unusual I must say. Like a fantasy book of some sort.

"Do you have any ideas on how we got here?" I turned to Jaxon and gave him an innocent questioning look. He bought it and nodded once.

"Once I had grabbed ahold of you, I swam deeper down into the lake. I then reached this place surprisingly, I didn't know it was here myself. All I really know is that we came out of that pool of water." He smiled down at me while I glared back at him. I glanced over to the pond and then back to him.

"You could have said something! Jesus Christ I swear I'm going to kill myself one day..." I mumbled the last part to myself as I hit Jaxon upside the head. I heard him chuckle and I glare at him.

"What!?" I say angered. He rubs the back of his head in pain and awkwardness.

"Your cute when your mad, and, I wanted to play a game. To pretend I didn't know." He chuckled and I rolled my eyes and started walking towards the pond. I dove in and the water was warm, but then turned cold. As I reached the lake's surface I gasped for air. Even though it was a short distance, I was out of breath straight away.

I glanced around to see a figure running away from the lake and the cabin, in the complete opposite direction. Da hell? I furrowed my eyebrows together and tried to get a better look of the person, or thing, but I guess it's just the dark messing with me.

Jaxon appeared next to me and frightened me for a second. I then fidgeted around in my pocket for that crystal I picked up earlier, it was still there thankfully. I jumped out of the lake and started to climb the mountain, I couldn't be bothered to walk. Even though climbing would take up more energy. Shrug. I griped my hands around parts that stuck out and put my foot up on a small platform.

I'm then swooped up and in the arms of Jax, da hell is he doing? You guessed it, he started carrying me up the walkway to the cabin. I groaned and looked up at him.

"Yeah, no. I don't think so missy. You are NOT climbing that goddamn mountain." He looked down at me as I was in his arms, I rolled my eyes at him and mind linked Tigger.

'I figured it out, well I would have if somebody had told me before I went for a full on marathon walk up and down a cave.' I glared at Jaxon as I said 'somebody', and he looked at me confused. Though he couldn't hear me I was still pissed.

'That's Jaxon for you. Are you walking up now?' She asked me.

'Well....not technically. Jaxon is carrying me bridal style up the goddamn walkway. I was just going to climb and he picked me up, though I would have been perfectly capable to climb.' Once again I glared at him as I said 'perfectly capable'. He looked at me completely bewildered, I stuck my tongue out at him.

We finally reached the cabin and I was so happy. I just want to sleep after these events, I'm so tired I was about to collapse, and that's what I did.

~Gemy Time Skip to Morning Time~

I woke up in my room and looked out the window. How did I get here? Oh yeeaaahhh, I collapsed from exhaustion after getting back up the mountain. Riiiiight. I do the under Ka-stands now (inside joke xD). I got up groggily, with my hair being a rats nest. Just flipping great, thanks God for hating me. I glared up st the ceiling and then sighed.

Anywho, I walked down the hall to see Tigger eating cereal at the table while Jax is trying to annoy her by being flirty. I pull him away from her and she gives me a look of gratitude and 'what the hell?'. I looked at her confused for a second then realisation dawned on me.

"Yeah, bed hair. Great, isn't it?" I say sarcastically with jazz hands. She nods at me with a smirk

"Totally awesome bro." She does the same jazz hands that I had done before-hand. Get it? Get it? No? Oh....now I'm disappointed. Never mind, she read my mind, literally, she got the joke and started to laugh a bit. I joined her and Jaxon stood there like a statue, unmoving.

"You ok Jax?" I waved a hand in his face as I went past to grab a brush to do my hair. This is going to be a pain to do. He looked to me as I came back and nodded finalising his answer. I smiled back at him and winced from brushing my hair.

After trying to bring the brush through my hair multiple times I gave up and chucked the brush behind me with an unamused expression. I went to the bathroom and grabbed myself a few hair ties, to put my hair in a messy bun.

I then went to the pantry to grab myself some cereal to eat, even though I don't like cereal. But anyway; I grabbed a box of Fruit Loops, which are almost entirely made of sugar by the way, and poured myself a bowl. I went to grab the milk and bumped into the corner of the kitchen bench and fell over dramatically, over doing it.

"Dude, your fine." Tigger glanced at me and commented.

"No I'm not, I'm dead."

"Your not dead from running into a kitchen bench corner." Jaxon chimed in, emphasising some words.

"Yes I am, and I will be." I just lied on the floor and eventually got up.

I grabbed the milk and went back to my bowl, pouring it on top of the cereal. I grabbed a spoon and took my bow, to the table and started eating. Jaxon gives me a confused look but I shrug it off.

"I thought you didn't like cereal..?" Jaxon continued to question me.

"I don't."

"Then why did you make yourself a bowl of cereal?"

"I don't fricken know." To be honest I don't know why I poured myself cereal if I don't like it.

"Is something wrong?" Tigger asked me putting a hand on her chin, and turning towards myself.

"Something is definitely wrong..."

"Guys nothing's wro-" I was cut off, I hate it when I'm cut off.

"Is she sick?"

"Yeah..... I definitely think she--" I cut Jaxon off now. Ha ha! Little brat.

"GUYS I'M PERFECTLY FINE!!!" (Marcus Johns reference right here<) I yelled at them.

I sighed and continued eating my disgusting cereal that I don't even like. I almost ate all of it, but then couldn't bear it anymore. So I chucked it out, I know, I'm picky with food deal with it. I went into my room and grabbed my boots that were on the floor next to my bed. I walked back out into the kitchen and sat down on a chair.

"Do we have any plans for today?" I ask putting my boots on. I get a nod from one of the two, Tigger.

"We, well I, was thinking about relocating to somewhere else." I stared at her wide eyes as my mouth started to gape open, I felt my ears droop and my tail stopped swaying. I loved it here! The great view, the atmosphere, the lake, and the amazing night sky that we could easily see.

"But it's such a nice place here! There's so much to do and it's a nice, cosy area! Not to mention the beautiful view of the valley below!" I crossed my arms and looked over to Jaxon who nodded, agreeing with me. His eyebrows furrowed and he looked over to Tigger.

"Why is this so sudden? Why do you want to move?" He asked directing the question to her. I looked over to her as she spoke. What? It's polite.

"I want to move because last night before you joined Ash at the cliff, she claimed that someone or something had pushed her off forcefully. She hung onto the edge and pulled herself up, but no one was there.

Not to mention when you startled her making her fall off the edge. Though I love it here too, it's too risky and I don't anyone to get badly injured. So I best suggest that we move, or there could be serious problems."

"That was an accident!!" Jaxon yelled at Tigger, aiming at the part when he made me fall. Even though it was I can agree why she wants to move, I don't want to leave its such a beautiful place. But he then glanced over to me with a 'That really happened?' look, referencing the first time I fell. I cleared my throat with a nod.

"When were you planning for us to move? Or have you not decided yet?" I asked her looking into her eyes.

"I have decided..." Jaxon and myself looked at her anxiously with anticipation.

"I was hoping to move in the next two weeks..." She replied sheepishly. I gazed at her with my mouth gaped a little bit.

"I was planning that much time because we actually need to build the cabin. From scratch...." She hung her head as Jaxon nodded.

"I think we can do this. Will we still be close to Paris and Oscar's place?" She mumbled a 'Yes' to the both of us.

"Good thing I did Wood Work in school." She looked up at me hopefully then to Jax. Who smiled encouragingly at her. I nodded and fist pumped the air. She jumped up from her chair and squealed hugging Jaxon and myself. I smiled in the happy moment, surrounded with my friends. Wait. I'm surrounded. Rule number 1 with me; Do not surround me whatever you do. I'm terrified of being surrounded.

I pushed away from them both, a bit scared from being so close to everyone. They looked over at me with curiosity and precaution. I stumbled on my words and looked down at the floor cupping my hands together.

"W-Why don't we get s-started..? A-After all, the whole project will take q-quite a long time..." I looked back up at them through my eyelashes with a questionable expression. They both nodded, in sync. Creepy. Jax smiled and looked over to Tigger.

"I know just the place to start." She stated. Let's do this.

~Time Skip to 3 days later~

Tigger showed us the way to the new location near some forest which lead to the edge of another cliff, and an amazing view. We gathered all the materials we needed like wooden boards, building tools, ect.

Jaxon and I had already started building the house frame to work with while Tigger drew up some plans, that were similar to the other cabin. Because I wanted a similar design or I'm not going to remember where everything is. We have built the front deck, wall frames, floor, and part of the roofing. We were doing really well, we work and cooperate well together when we build.

"Guys! Guuuys! I think I finished off the plan!" Tigger called out to us.

"Coming!" Jaxon and I shout at the same time. I slid down the ladder I used to climb up to reach the roof and wiped a hand across my forehead. I was sweating really bad, it was hot and I was tired.

Right now Tigger is leaning on the deck with my phone in front of her with pictures of the cabin for reference, papers with random sketches(those were mine), pencils and pens, rubber, mapping paper for drawing the outline and a Rule. (Yes, it's actually called a rule, not a ruler)

I glanced over her shoulder to see the sketching she had done, and it was pretty good. It was accurate and had definite lines that were easy to scan over. I nodded and looked over to Jax who gave a thumbs up wiping his forehead as well. I realised that I had water bottles in my bag so I went over to the bag to grab them.

I walked under a tree to get to my bag, that's where I put it, and grabbed out 3 bottles. I tossed one at Jaxon who caught it and I handed Tigger one. We all had a quick sip except Jaxon, he was chugging it.

"Chug, chug, chug, chug, chug, chug, chug!" I changed laughing as Tigger joined my laughter. Jaxon started to laugh and spat out some water from almost choking, he then chuckled and glanced at me but then looked away. I went to put my bottle down but stopped. I tried to flip the bottle and someone muttered an 'Oh dear God'. I flipped the bottle and it landed surprisingly, whenever I try to flip a bottle it doesn't work. I dabbed left and right multiple times.

"The Champ! That's right! It's me! Whoop, whoop, whoop, yeah! I'm da best!!" I chanted over and over doing this retarded dance. Someone patted the top of my head which I found out was Tigger and she muffled a laugh. She pulled this funny face and did a weird pose.

"Your fuunny!" I started to crack up and she did as well. Jaxon had already gone back to building and hammering the nails again. I sighed, he try's to be so independent. Well...I guess it makes sense because he IS the only boy here. Plus, common boy subjects in school were Metal Work, Graphics, and Wood Work.

I climbed up the ladder to join him and started grabbing a hammer. I grabbed hold of it but winced in pain, I looked at my hand to see it covered in blisters and scratches. I sigh irritated and climb back down the ladder.

"I'll be back in a second..." I told Tigger as I showed her my hands. She saw and nodded at me inhaling sharply. I look over to Jax who has given me a thumbs up.

"I got it for now! Come back when your ready!" He shouted down at me. I waved and started to jog to the cabin. I ran into my room and opened a drawer to my bedside cabinet. I found my bandages and went to the bathroom to put them on. I couldn't find the tape you use to keep it together, so I just tucked it under some other pieces that were already wrapped around my palm.

After 10 minutes I mind linked Jaxon and Tigger that I was done and would be there soon. I sighed and went to put my bandages back in the drawer but tripped over the bath mat, seriously? I grazed my elbow and my knees, from the floors being rough and not smoothed with sand paper properly. I got up and groaned and stumbled into my room. For the time being that is.

I stumbled down the hallway and managed to not fall over, yay me. I opened the front door and head outside. I started to walk back but I heard a soft whimper, my ears perked up and I turned my head around. I walked around the cabin headed to the little gap, where I met the cutest little fox ever. It was only a pup!

It's fur was red, and the tail faded from red to light red to white. All of its paws were a darker shade of red except the front right paw, which was a lighter patch of red. It looked up at me with big grey eyes that could send my cuteness levels off the charts. It started to whimper more, frightened, and started to back away from me.

"It's ok, it's ok.... I want to help you..." I whispered to it. The fox moved closer to me and I scooped it up in my arms gently, as one of it's paws were injured. It was a girl, as I could tell anyway. I walked back over to the guys with the fox curled up in my arms. Tigger looked over to me and saw me looking down at the little thing. She 'Awwwed' and i sat the fox under a tree then went to grab my water bottle. I then went over to my backpack and grabbed out a small container that I had and poured the water in it.

I gave the water to the fox and she started to drink it. I tried to find some food in my bag but I couldn't find any, I frowned, I wanted to feed the poor thing! My eyes then glanced over at a berry bush, blackberries. She'll love those, I went over and picked two handfuls. I sat down next to the fox and put the berries on the container lid so that she could access them easily.

I softly picked up the fox and put her in my lap and pulled the water closer to her, she nibbled on one of the berries I had given her. I took one and ate it, they were ripe thankfully.

"They're ripe, thank the Lord..." I held my hands up to the sky as I said this and Jaxon then noticed what was going on, he came running over to see if something was wrong. He noticed the fox and let out a sigh of relief. They both crouched down in front of me to get a better look at the fox. I scratched behind one of her ears and she nuzzled into my hand.

"Are you going to keep the fox?" Jaxon questioned.

"It's a she..." I mumbled back and deadpanned. He put his hands up in defence.

"Yes, I'm going to keep her..." I smiled down at the cute fluffy red ball on my lap, patting her back softly.

"Do you have a name for her?" Tigger glanced up at me and I shook my head. I didn't really have a name for her. Hmmm, what name to pick?

"Jasmine?"

"Hope?"

"Misty?"

"Taron?" Jaxon, you idiot.

"Taron is a boy's name, Jaxon." Tigger pointed out the obvious so I didn't have to.

"Right, sorry."

"Ember..." I mumbled so quietly that they didn't hear me, not even they're Tiger ears picked it up. I smiled happily down at her as she ate a blackberry, and ruffling her fur to make it look fluffy.

"What was that Ash?" Jaxon asked as he looked up at me.

"Ember. Ember is her name." She licked my hand in approval and nuzzled her nose on my palm. She sneezed and it was the cutest thing ever.

"Awwww..." We all said together at the cute antic.

"I'm going to keep her, and protect her." I nodded in confirming my choice. But where can I keep her until we finish the cabin? Somewhere, we'll figure it out. Together, as a team, as a clan...........as one being.

Yay new chapter! I know the start was bad and frustrating to read but I was in that kind of mood. Sorry. But fluffy of the fluffiest variety at the end! The picture of Ember is at the top also, drawn by yours truly. *bows and dabs at the end*
