•- Delta's POV -•

The magenta glow of the outside seeped through the window of the dark stone building. Delta sat up with a light stretch, having slept in her new form that night. It felt nice to have one, and she was in such a rush to get home that she never actually got the chance to look at it.

She slipped out of bed and to a door mirror to actually get a look at it; The spikey purple accents, the larger tabby cat stripes along her tail.. Just how fluffy the tail was- It could be a pillow with how much soft fur was there.

'.. This form was well worth the wait, I can feel it!' She beamed to herself in the mirror. After a minute or 2 she finnaly left, out of the apartment rooms that every spirit had, other then ones of higher class like advisors and guards. The ground was covered in a light layer of ash. She was in no rush this morning so she decided to take a walk in her new form, breifly greeting people she hadn't seen for a while on her way to the mansion north of the plaza.

Two shadow like dogs sat at the gates. Theses guards were a different type of spirit, a different race you could call it, shape-shifting shadows. Due to their few separate abilities usually they were the only ones to be assigned guards. The one that was shifted into what looked to be a Doberman growled, as if to say "state your buissness."

"Form registration!" She was overly excited to see what this process was like, it was a big step forward for spirits. He nodded and the other shape-shifting spirit, who looked to be a Great Dane, gestured for her to walk through the gates. Delta gently pushed the cold metal gates open and carefully pushed it shut behind herself out of habit. Her shoes tapped lightly against the stone before she got to the doors and stepped inside.

"Hi there-" Delta nearly jumped out of her fur, it having puffed up slightly and her eyes having become slits.

It was another spirit in form, a striped, winged feline. He gasped lightly, stepping back and hugging himself. "Oh! I-I'm so sorry- Are you ok?" Delta took a light breath in, holding it, and then letting it out to calm herself. The male continued anxiously, "I-I didn't mean to scare you-"

"It's ok. Just didn't expect you there!" She smiled gently, making the other seemingly sigh of relief. "Ya.. Sorry. Can I help you with anything?"

"Oh no I.." she paused mid sentence. '.. Actually.. I could probably use some direction around here..' She contemplated silently before looking up. ".. Actually, that would be nice." He seemed to lighten up a bit and walked a bit ahead. "Follow me then- I'm guessing your going in for form registration given you look about 9 and I haven't seen you come in before." She nodded, he was exactly right too, so he was good at age guessing. She was quick to follow behind and look around the mansion, which looked really nice compared to the rest of the realm. "I never caught your name tho." He looked over his shoulder at her as they walked. "I'll tell if you tell?"

"Beta."
"Delta."
"Whoa, were both named after radiation waves!"
"We are?"
"Ya! You know.. Delta, Beta, and Gamma?"
"Oh- Your right!"

They luaghed a bit, and told more jokes until they arrived at a big door. Delta's newly found friend seemed to shudder a bit causing his wings to fluff.

"Um.. right in here.." He gestured to the door from a small distance. "Just go ahead and walk in.. T-they will evaluate you..-" Delta tilted her head a bit, was it scary in there? Dangerous? The older (only by 4 yrs) feline waved and headed off to do something, leaving Delta to stare at the doors.

She took a small breath, and she walked through the doors, into the room beyond them.

The room looked really nice, white wallpaper with black and golden accents, grey and black furniture.. at the darker back side of the room there was a desk that Delta could just make out the figure of. "Who's there..?" A low voice grumbled from behind the desk, the only place someone could hide from her vision in this room which seemed to be an office with 2 lights, 1 of which seemed broken making the room on one side darker then the other. She could only tell it was there because it barely lit up and flickered off again, like it had a weak connection to the wires. "I said who's there..-?" The voice became a little louder frightening Delta a bit.

"Um.. D-delta.." She recognized the voice of their current ruler, everyone did. He seemed to glare right at the young feline before growling. ".. sit.." She hesitantly sat in the chair, just as he began to question her for things like last name, host name, age, and other things which differed from spirit to spirit. Those who didn't get registered were banished or worse..

Exorcised..

About 30 minutes go by before they finnaly finnished. "Your finnished.. leave." Delta quickly got up from the chair and bowed a bit mumbling a small "yes sir" before hurrying out.

Just as the doors shut behind her while she was scurrying out of there she bumped into someone and fell over. Though who she ran into stood his ground refusing to fall so suddenly.. It was the 6 year old son of the ruler that now stood over Delta, staring..

Kai.

>> If ur too lazy like me tho to do that then I'll simplify this; Kai is 3 years younger then Delta, Beta is 4 years older then Delta. So when they're at they're present age Kai will be 17, Delta will be 20, and Beta (Max's oc) will be 24.
