"What in the world are you two doing here?" He said in his deep modulated voice.

"Definitely not kissing each others' asses," Olivia mumbled. I shoved her with my elbow and hastily covered up, " Oh, nice to meet you, Mr Galpsi." "Nice to meet you, Maureen but what are you doing here with this little ugly old lady? At this hour? " He asked, moving his lantern closer to Olivia's face. "Hey! Don't you dare call me ugly!!" Olivia snapped back. "Uh, we were just exploring the Palace. Nothing more," I lied, projecting my most appealing smile which seemed to convince him.

"But are you allowed to be inside the Palace? I mean, didn't you tell us this morning that clan leaders aren't allowed inside ?" I inquired. "You are absolutely right, my child. But this young man," he said, as he moved towards the side revealing two of his clan members holding an injured Trevor, " this young man, was about to fall off a cliff. I caught hold of him and decided to drop him in the palace. I must say, he was in proper danger," he explained. " Oh my god, this boy," Olivia huffed. I nodded and thanked Mr Galpsi. I gestured for the clan members to take him to our chamber.

During the whole journey to our chamber, the only thing I did was regret. I don't know what would have happened to him if Galpsi wouldn't have seen him. I didn't speak to him but just stared at him from the corner of my eyes. The passages were dark, so I couldn't see clearly. But I was sure that his head was bleeding and he had several scratches all over his body. Some parts of his attire were torn. Water droplets mixed with blood dripped from his hair. He was entirely wet and his pants were soaked in mud and blood.

When he was laid down on the bed of our chamber by the two clan members, Galpsi turned his gaze towards me. "You need to take care of your lover boy. He feels sorry about something he has done. When he was lying on the edge of the cliff, he was whispering something, which I assumed was 'sorry'," he elaborated and smiled at me. "But he is not my 'lover boy'" I sneered, "He is just being dramatic," I stated. "Oh, girl. Don't lie," Olivia giggled. I glared at her when Galpsi remarked, "Oh my dear child, you just don't see what we see. I think we have to leave now. Take care, child." I nodded my head and twitched my lips in a small curve.

"Huh, it is all because of me. Now, we have to wait till he gains his consciousness," I sighed. Olivia tilted her head and exclaimed, "Hey! Maureen! What's that?" I turned around to look where she was pointing at. "What's what?" I asked. "That black thing on his left hand," she specified. "Yeah, what's that?" I mumbled and trekked towards him. I sat beside where he slept and examined his hand. I traced my fingertips on the black thing. "Seems like a symbol. A random net-like symbol. It feels as if I have seen this somewhere else," I concluded. "We should really show this to Galpsi, tomorrow morning. He seems kind," she suggested. "Yeah, you are rig-" the sudden increase in Trevor's body temperature interrupted me. "Oh my god, what's happening to him?!" I gasped.

I got out of bed and stepped back. His body became so hot that I couldn't even touch it. "Look! The symbol!" Olivia shrieked. "It-it's glowing!" she stuttered. The scene was indeed peculiar. I opened the curtains of all the windows to let the cool breeze in. Suddenly, his body started shaking violently. Both of us tried to hold him but every time we touched him, the heat radiated from his body threw us away from him. Olivia even got her head dashed against the stone wall and lost her senses.

I was left with no other choice other than to use my powers. I swirled my hands and concentrated on my aim. Then I opened my arms wide open with relaxed palms. In the next moment, I closed my fist and crossed my arms with a jerk, letting in the branches and roots of the banyan tree that stood outside the chamber. All of them obediently glided over one another and raced against each other to catch hold of Trevor. At first, they got under the bed and secured them with the bed with a tight knot and then twisted themselves against Trevor's fists and ankles. They gripped the body parts tightly and the power with which his body was shaking, lessened by a great amount. I sighed in relief and slid down, my back resting on the stone wall.

I stared at my palms which were completely red and had rashes. There was this network of red lines going till my forearm. I had not taken much notice of it since I first discovered my power of creating a fireball. I observed the networks and my eyes almost popped out of the socket when I found a similar kind of pattern to that of the symbol on Trevor's hand. I rushed towards him and tallied the pattern. It was the same. The only difference was that the pattern on my arms was larger. Everything was so confusing. I didn't know what to do.

A part of me was really scared and the other part of me thought it was funny. I went near the window and a little chuckle escaped my mouth, which soon turned out to be a maniac laugh. I was going crazy. My family was in the mortal realm with my doppelganger, my best friend was suffering only because of me and who laid senseless on the stone floor. And I was starting to care for a guy I hated the most. The girl, who had sworn to rip out all the lovey-dovey couples out of this world. The girl, who was so selfish that she could murder a person for her work to be done, was starting to care for a guy she hated the most. "Damn!" I banged my fist on the window pane. Suddenly, the wind started gusting through the branches of the tree.

The power of the wind was so strong that I had to move away from the window. I had to congratulate myself because I had successfully discovered another power of mine. I was sure because when I motioned my hands, the power of the wind died and when I motioned in the opposite direction, the breeze started to blow again. The more power I used to wave, the more power the wind possessed. My head was bursting with millions of questions but there wasn't a single answer.

I walked across the room, my hand pressed against my forehead, almost covering my eyes when I tripped against the branches I had summoned to hold Trevor steady. I fell onto the ground hurting my elbow. "Shit!" I swore. The diary and the frame were not inside my waistcoat anymore. They laid motionless on the floor. I grabbed the painting frame and inspected it. Every time I looked into the eyes of the woman, I felt alive. I don't know how to describe it but I was sure I was related to Queen Remua in some way. So I decided to ask her minister, Arlyn Despan. I slid the diary towards me and waved my hands to let the wind open a random page again.

As I created a fireball, "Greetings of the day, Ms Maureen. Nice to meet you again," the letters got engraved on the yellow old crinkly page. "Nice meet you too, Mr Despan," I replied. "How can I help you?" the sentence faded in. "Can you tell me about Queen Remua?" I asked. "No," it replied. I sighed but the good old diary didn't know how to dishearten someone. "But I can show you." The letters got arranged after a brief pause. The texts faded out and splashes of paints were visible, which turned into a motioned picture.

The picture started with a little girl learning to hold a sword and she was taught by her father. It fast-forwarded to the future when the little girl had grown up into a beautiful woman with the graceful fighting ability with great hard work and practice. She refused to marry any prince because she was determined to protect her own kingdom after the demise of her father. She was crowned Queen Remua. But after a few years, she frequently fell ill due to some unknown reasons and needed a successor. She had no kids who'd take up the responsibility of the kingdom after her. So she meditated straight away for ten long years.

God was impressed by her willpower and gifted her a daughter. Her daughter was no ordinary human. She was created to be the possessor of the world. She has the power of the five great elements of nature. Queen Remua was grateful to have her as her daughter and named her Enola, which was the reverse spell of Alone. The reason behind this was that she knew her daughter would be fighting alone against all her enemies. But before Enola even turned one year old, a traitor among Queen Remua's comrades, who was part of the Dark Wizard killed the Queen and made Enola disappear, and everyone else assumed that Enola was dead. But she wasn't dead. The Dark Wizard himself had kept her somewhere but now she had returned. Now Enola had returned to save her people. The splashes of the paints started to withdraw.

"Who is she?!" I inquired. "You" the texts read.

I was dumbfounded. I couldn't believe my eyes. "Queen Remua is my mom, so what about my family in the mortal world? Who was the Dark Wizard who killed my mom? I swear I am not going to leave him. Now that makes sense. I am Enola, I have the powers of the great five elements of nature. The fire, the earth, the wind but what about the other two?" I questioned myself.

"Mr Despan, thank you so much for all the information. I just need to ask one more question," I said politely. "Sure, Queen Enola," the letters faded in, making me feel more powerful. "You said, I possess the powers of the five elements. What about the other two?" I asked. "The other two lie in with the Dark Wizard. You have to fight for it to win it back," the diary replied. "Who is the Dark Wizard?" I questioned. "I don't know. No one knows him. No one has ever seen him," the letters moved in. "What?!" I gasped. "So, how am I supposed to fight?" I questioned the diary. "I'm sorry, Queen Enola. I'm not supposed to reveal this to you. You will find it on your own. Good luck," the diary projected the last statement and the very next moment, the page was spotless again.

The diary just made it more complicated. It was just so much for me. I had never seen my own real mom. That just made me more curious. I wanted to find the Dark Wizard now. My chest felt heavy and it was hard to breathe. I was sweating on a chilly night and I felt like banging my head. My hands were sore from manipulating the fire, wind and earth. My entire body ached for no reason. I was feeling terrible. I had no one to talk with and I was missing my parents who were in the mortal world, completely unaware of the happenings. I was missing my school, friends, teachers, shopping mall, random gossip and many more things I couldn't count. Everything seemed black. Funny, how I used to love black in everything and now that everything was black, I felt miserable. I buried my face and I realized that I was stinking. The dirt and dust that came along with the old trunk, wind and the branches were all stuck to my body. It just made the situation worse.

"This is worse than the worst nightmare," I complained, muttering.

"But this is your bitter reality, Enola," the voice gave me chills down my spine. I looked up and the sudden appearance of the particular person came as a bolt from the blue.
