"The properties of regusmok are as follows-" 

"Remus, Come out man."

My room's door opened and Nyx was peering into. I closed my book immediately. 

"You should not look into someone's room, especially when they are studying about regusmok." I joked.

"Dude, I can not stop hyperventilating. I have freaking revised the whole syllabus 2 times in the last three days. My sleep cycle ceases to exist. I have lost my appetite. I am going crazy" Nyx said. His eyes were really unfocused. He should sleep.

"When did you last slept" I asked.

"Why? three days ago" He replied immediately trying to sound calm.

"Don't worry, go and just sleep. You have studied enough. Two times is a lot." I said.

 I am not the right person to say that revising the syllabus two times is good. Cause I have revised it 4 times. I need sleep too.

"Okay, yes, Sleep would be nice," Nyx said.

"Yup, I am going to sleep too," I said. Trying to clip my big mouth shut yawning.

"Okay bro" Nyx closed the door and I started reading about regusmok. Just this topic then I'll sleep, I thought. 

...

My eyes opened when I heard someone shouting "Its about the planet." Apparently I forgot to turn noise suppression on. People were mumbling outside the door. Multiple people, talking about the exam.

My head was throbbing, almost killing me. I slept too much.  I checked the clock it was 17:00 hrs. Wait a minute; I only slept for 2 hours?

no, surely it was more than 2 hours

 I checked the date. Yup, I slept too much. One and a half day. Shit I wasted so much time. The exam is tomorrow.

Before I could hyperventilate I ordered Kiwi.

"Kiwi, energize me"

Peaceful music started blasting out of my room's walls. I listened to the music for 2 minutes; then I started feeling better. I rubbed my eyes and stepped outside my room.

The view was astounding.

"holy guacamole" I said.

Apparently all the kids of my dorm were outside their rooms. Everything was in commotion. They were mumbling stuff like "Planet" or "I have not studied enough".

The kid who had a face like a witch was standing in between and was telling something. I searched the area to find Nyx but found Dextera instead.

She was standing with some other girls. She looked at me and I waved. She jogged her way through the crowd.

"Hey, what's going on. What's all this commotion." I asked.

"We got some news. The whole exam will be themed on the planet, Keppler 242b."

"Wait what? The whole exam, on a single planet"

"Yes."

"And how do you know?" I raised my eyebrows.

"So, this witch looking boy was walking down the hallway and he happened to pass by the test center. And he overheard the teachers talking there"

"But he could be lying, I don't know why though" I said sarcastically.

"Actually no, one of my friends was with him. She told me that its true" Dextera said.

"oh," I was kind of happy to hear. Because one of my favorite subject was Astrobiology and its all about the Keppler 242b. I was well prepared. I smiled.

"Yup, and we think that the exam will happen on the V.R."

"V.R would be good. I played so much mine craft this year" A few moments ago I was feeling bad and grumpy. Now I was all butterflies and rainbows.

"Where is Nyx, by the way?"

"He is sleeping," Dextera looked behind me, "Here he is" Dextera smiled beautifully.

I turned around to see a sleepy Nyx coming our way, Rubbing his eyes.

"Good morning Mister" Dextera walked towards him.

I left the two of them at their peace and walked outside the dorm. I should tell Helcy, she was also studying like a maniac from the past 4 days.

"Call the lady" I said

The call went for 5 seconds, and she picked.

"What are you doing" I asked.

"Nothing, robbing the cafeteria" I could feel her smile on the phone.

"Do you know the news" "Do you know" We spoke at the same time.

"I guess you already know" again we spoke at the same time.

"nice" I said.

I laughed. It was such a relief that I know the syllabus. Talking to Helcy made me even more calm.

"You are such a dummy" she was eating something while talking; maybe sandwich.

My stomach made a sound like, chou choui.

"I am coming over, dummy wants food." I felt hungry, I haven't eaten anything from the past 36 hours.

"Come fast, or I'll finish everything" she laughed.

I ended the call after saying a temporary bye and walked towards the cafeteria.

...

It was good to relax a little. I decided to not study now, because the exam is tomorrow and my brain was already full. It was risky because the news still seemed to good to be true.

Helcy gave me the sandwich she was holding and herself started to eat a new one. She had already tasted the one I was holding; but I ignored it and bit into the breads. It was a good one; but my mom used to make even better.

I have not called mom since the last three days. I'll call her later in the evening I thought.

Me and Helcy talked about some stuff. I asked her what she wanted to become before she joined SPORE.

"I want to become a writer, even i have joined SPORE. I write sometimes;" she said her eyes focused far behind me.

"Oh, can I read sometimes; what you write" I said

"Sure, but every time you want to read something that I have written, I'll eat your food"

"No, I love my food; You can keep your things to yourself" I joked seriously.

"What, you don't want read it"

"I wanna read it, stupid" I said.

We both talked for a long time until it was 21:03. Helcy and I parted ways and walked towards our dorms.

People were still out. Most of the people were outside their rooms. Everybody seemed joyful. After all how hard a test can be, when the entire syllabus is based on a exo planet; and the test is conducted on a V.R.

"Remus, let's play minecraft" Nyx tagged me along to our rooms.

"Yup, sure" I was not feeling sleepy at all. One cannot, if he has already slept for 36 hours straight.

My sleep cycle is now completely destroyed. But I can take it, just tomorrow and I'll pass this year.

...

Nyx and I played all night, killing zombies and skeletons. Made a small house and befriended some villagers. Minecraft is the best creation by the 21st century.

a note from the author-

hey! guys. 

yeah i know im late, stupid, and bad.

i wanted to write but (excuses)

i was too busy, completing tasks, studying and all that blah- blah.

the chapter was quite boring and static,ik. but yeah something is better than nothing. I'll try writing more quality stuff. oof its so hard to get in the flow.

and special thanks to my bestie. who freakin made me write this chapter by giving me a dare. I would like to curse and love her at the same time.
