Helcy was telling me that she had found this room in the second week on S.P.O.R.E. I told her that I found it on my second day. She was a bit impressed.

She told me I was famous among the kids, as I have blasted one kid on just the second day. Some kids think that I am a psychopath or something. Some think I am a big bully. They don't know that I was punished, they think I am removed from the school.

It is somewhat painful to hear rumors about yourself but at the same moment, it's funny.

I laughed " The teachers haven't told you anything about me?" 

"No, they ignore us when we ask, so everybody has stopped asking" she bit her lower lip, hiding her scar.

"Oh, " I nodded looking down. "Do you know Nyx," I asked

"That 'angel face boy' ?" 

"Yeah," I said

"He performs great in close combat, He doesn't talk to anyone except... what was her name, who scored the highest marks in the entrance exam" 

"Dextera" I replied instantly. Oh, Dextera.

"I too thought that you were a Maddie or something and they removed you from the school" Helcy chuckled.

I raised my left eyebrow and tilted my head. "Maybe I am mad." 

"What, I was just kidding," she said.

"Maybe I am mad. Yes, I am crazy" I laughed evilly.

"You are joking right," she said now looking a bit worried.

"Yes. Yes. Yes. I want blood. Tasty blood" I gave another evil chuckle.

"Stop this please!" she said worriedly.

"Stop what, just give me your hand and let me taste the blood" I stepped towards her.

"Stop it, or I am going to hit you" Helcy was in a fighting position.

"Are you. I just asked for blood" now I couldn't suppress it more.

 "Ha, Ha, Ha" I laughed hard. "I should have taken your photo, Look at your face."

"You are stupid, idiot," she said looking furious.

"Eh," but it was hard for me to stand still. And I laughed.

I saw a hint of a smile on her face. Then she laughed. We both laughed for what felt like ages.

It's great to laugh.

 "I think it's time now," I had tears in my eyes because of laughing so much.

"Yeah," she said, " I think we should go back to our rooms now" 

"Yeah we should," I said

Helcy and I walked out of the room then separated on our paths. It's great to talk to someone who is not a  teacher.

I woke up, 3:09 AM. Another nightmare. I was drenched in a cold sweat. My bedsheet was a mess. I was breathing hard.

 This time I was sitting on what looked like a throne. Dark, Black people. No, Dark Black souls were surrounding me and were moaning. They were asking me for help. Though they didn't tell me what I have to do to help. They were covering me from all sides. Then they turned me into one of them. Dark, Black, and helpless.

What did it mean? I thought.

Well, I should sleep now.

I woke up the next morning, feeling sleepy. So I took a super cold shower. I warmed up a little, my body was a little stiff.

"Hey kiwi, what's the first lecture today" my timetable is different every day because of the busy schedule of teachers.

"Good morning Boss, you will have Astrobiology today"

Astrobiology. Great, I like the subject.

...

Miss Lexi was waiting, she was wearing her white jumpsuit which was beautiful. I was a bit late and my belly was super full. I came running and said good morning professor hurriedly.

"Good morning Reamus," she said.

"Sorry miss for being late, actually the breakfast was super delicious" I joked.

"It's okay," she said now looking in her tablet. "Today we will do dissection"

Dissection, really, Great. Dissection is the science or what I call- the art of cutting a dead animal into pieces for research purposes or to know the cause of its death.

"Which animal," I asked though I already knew the answer. From the last month, we have been studying organisms that live on Keppler 22b. I will dissect a Ferraria-dog. Yes, this is what they have named the main organism of Keppler 22b. They resemble the prairie dogs of Earth except ferrarias have teeth made out of silver.

Miss Lexi took out a box from the class storage. 'Fragile' was written on top of the box, although I couldn't guess what was fragile with the creature that has silver daggers pinned in their mouth.

She put the box on the table.

"Start," she said and I hurriedly opened the box. The ferraria was kept in white linen cloth and a packet was on top of it, 'dissecting instruments'. I opened it. 

A knife. A knife with a 4-inch blade, probably a pocket-camping knife.

"Miss I think there's a mistake. There are no instruments, only a knife" I said

"There is no mistake Reamus. This is a test. In a real situation, you may or may not have the right instruments. Now don't waste time." she said

Great. I have to dissect with only a 4-inch dagger. 

"What's the aim," I asked. 

"Take out all the 68 silver teeth from its mouth," she replied now looking back into her tablet. 

All the electronic stuff in S.P.O.R.E has silver circuits. Silver is the most conductive metal out there, and expensive too. Well, it sort of used to be expensive because of its rarity and resistance. But know E.A.R.T.H. have a herd of Ferrarias on Keppler 22b 

(of course, I didn't know about it  until 2 weeks ago, sometimes it frustrates me how much E.A.R.T.H has hidden from us)

"Okay miss," I said. I put the dog on the table. opened its mouth with my bare hands and felt its teeth. Shiny and cold. A chill ran through my spine.

"Okay, let's start," I said to myself.

I made a cut across its face and started clearing the blue flesh. Now don't ask me why it has blue flesh. (copper, yes instead of iron they have copper in their blood). "Oh" I went on cutting its jaw from its head. Ripping would have been the right word, but hey I wasn't the one who chose to get a 4-inch blade instead of the proper instruments.

I ripped apart the whole face and believe me you will not want me to describe it. Now all of its teeth were visible. I took them out one by one. A total of 64 teeth. 

I dropped them in a tray. The table was a mess. "Uh-uh" I coughed to get the attention of Miss Lexi she was still using her tab. 

She looked towards me. "Have you completed?"

I nodded.

"OH boy, you have made a mess," she said looking at the table. Come on miss Lexi it was not my mistake I wasn't the one who wanted to cut animals with a camping knife.

I scratched my ear with the knife's blunt side. "Eh Miss it was a bit hard". 

She said nothing. Looked down in her tablet a graded a 'B' against my name. Oh shit, I should have done this test more patiently. 

...

The rest of the day passed slowly. I had close combat, communication, and games today. Apparently, all the teachers had to conduct the test on the same day. In close combat, I was asked to beat a dummy without using my hands. In the games, I was asked to score a 3 pointer (believe me it was the hardest). In communication, I had to introduce myself in 15 different languages it was a bit easy compared to the rest but I forgot what was the word for blueberry cake in french.  

Now I was heading towards the room. I entered the room silently. I was hoping to see Helcy there. I looked back above the door. She was sitting cross-legged on the ledge. She was looking towards me, I waved at her. And grinned.

I gestured her to come down, but she ignored me and gestured me to come up. 

"Okay," I said nervously. Okay, I accept I feat heights a little. But only heights that can kill me. Okay, she is sitting at least 30 feet up, and 30 feet won't kill me (of course until I jump or she pushes me)

I climbed up. The rungs were made up of some hard metal. 

32, 33, 34, I counted them. a total of 35. I stepped on the ledge, there was a little space on the ledge it was as big as a small bed. I sat far behind the edge.

She laughed because I was sitting at least 2 feet behind her. 

"What," I asked.

"You are scared of heights" she laughed again. She was sitting just on the edge.

"No, I am not, who said?" I replied instantly.

"Your face dummy, look at your face. You definitely are scared of heights" she laughed again.

"I am not," I said a bit furiously.

She raised her left eyebrow. "Prove it".

"Wh... what?" I said

"Prove it, come sit here" she waved her hand beside her. " Sit here like I am sitting"

My ears were getting hotter every second now. She has challenged me. Yeah okay, I am a little scared of heights, so what. I stared into her eyes, she returned the gaze with her powerful black eyes.

I have to do it. I said to myself. 

I slid myself towards the edge. Oh God, I wanted to back off now. 

But she was still looking at me, and I can't give her the pleasure of a smile.

But hell, it's scary, fricking scary. The floor was more prominent from up there. I had the feeling that someone might push me.

But you have accepted the challenge now.

But I was sweating like crazy now and my hands were shaking.

"Okay I accept, I am scared," I said

She smiled. Oh god, it's beautiful. But my focus was on the floor, Oh god it was scary. I tried backing off, but she held my hand and stopped me. 

"Calm your breathing Reamus," she said

"Can't we just go down, sorry I am acting like a little git" I said hurriedly.

"Calm your breathing Reamus," she said again her eyes were closed.

"Okay," I said

I closed my eyes and tried taking deep breaths. In and out. I felt my body calm a little. I felt her hand it was warm. I calmed a bit more.

"Think about the beauty of heights, not the depth. Isn't everything looks gorgeous from above" she said softly and now I was sitting there comfortably. "Now open your eyes"

I opened my eyes. It was still a bit scary, but I can take that much. And Yeah It's true things do look great from the top. I was not sweating now,(thank god).

"So you do this thing for everybody?" I said

"What thing?" she asked looking confused

"This ahm, I don't know, the therapy I guess. So you do this therapy for anyone who has fear" I asked joking. 

"No, I guess I have to do this 'therapy' with you again because you are still stupid." she laughed

"Thanks. Thanks for today." I said

I went to bed with a weird sensation in my stomach. I had held Helcy's hand for too long, and my palms sweat a lot. Great shit.

The good thing was, I had no nightmare. So I woke up full of energy.  I was dancing in the mirror and singing in the shower.

I was smiling at my food. (cause it was tasty I guess)

The day passed more cheerfully than ever. I waited for the class to end.

I awaited for Helcy to come.

I guess I am happy now after days.

I feel good again.

I don't know, I read a few weird but great books so my writing is a mixture of styles now.
