I bit my lower lip in mortification as Mrs Williams gasped with shock and turned to stare at me, sizzling me up and down. Alex had just insensitively told them about Justin.

"Did you say... Son?" Mrs Williams asked, staring back at her son with disbelief.

"Yes, mom. Three years ago, Sola gave birth to a boy named Justin. And I'm his father." Alex explained unapologetically.

Mr Williams came to stand beside his wife and placed his arms around her stiff shoulders.
"Now, calm down Elizabeth. Don't forget about your high blood pressure." he said in a soothing voice.

"How can I calm down?! Our son has a son and we don't even know. We have a grandson, AJ!" Mrs Williams said to her husband. She looked like she might explode. If not for Alex that was still holding me so tightly, I would have jumped out of the room through the nearby window.

"Well.. He told me this two days ago, but he made me keep it from you because he didn't want you to be too shocked." Mr Williams said to his wife. He kissed her forehead in a bid to calm her down.

"Well, I'm too shocked right now AJ! And you.." she turned to Fayo, who feigned an innocent look at her mother. "You knew it too and you hid it from me?? What happened to mother-daughter relationship?!" she bellowed, then proceeded to take a seat. Mr Williams helped her down to the chair that was on the other side of the bed. So now, I was facing her from the opposite side of the hospital bed. She glared at me vehemently.

"You're the one that broke my son's heart that time. He left us all here and went abroad. I tried to find you because I was too worried for my son. But now... You're back into his life. With his son!"

"Mom, please shut up. I was the one who broke her heart then. I nearly ruined her, but after all this while she still decided to give me a chance. She's the love of my life, mom." Alex said, gazing in wonder at me. As if he couldn't believe that I was truly here.

"I.. I just hope this is what it seems like." Mrs Williams said, leaning in to stroke her son's face. "Because if not..."

"It is, Mrs Williams." I replied her. Everyone's heads instantly turned to my direction at the way I boldly replied her. Even Alex looked shocked that I could manage to speak out.

"I'm.. Sorry for how things went down the drain three years ago. It shouldn't have happened and I know we've wasted enough time, but.. We are here now. I and your son, ma. I love your son very much." I finished, raising my chin high in determination.

I briefly glanced at Fayo, who gave me a wink and grinned. Ekene was smiling at me with pride in his eyes, and so was Alex.

"A confident woman. I stan!" Mr Williams broke the silence. "At least she will keep you on your toes Alex. That's what I love to see." we all bursted into laughter at his cheerful tone.

Over the next few days, Alex was healing pretty well, the bandages were being replaced and his blood flow had returned to normal and in a few hours, he would be set for discharge.

"I can't wait to be alone with you, sugar." Alex said, smirking mischievously at me. I glared at him as I felt my face flush embarrassingly in front of him.

"You heard the doctor, Alex. You are not to be under any stress, no matter how minimal. So nothing is happening." I said to him, while I prepared his lunch.

He was having jam doughnuts and yogurts. I placed the tray carefully in front of him. I knew he was glaring at me, but I didn't react.

"How's Justin?" He asked, changing the subject. I smiled.

"He's been crying and throwing tantrums because he misses his father. Anyway, I told him you're coming home today." I said, smiling when I recalled how he'd poured his cereal on Amina. Amina had been so frustrated and had done the same to him. They had ended up messing the whole place with cereal and milk.

"I can't wait to see him." Alex said in a small voice. I knew he missed his son as well.

*Third pov*

They both looked so perfect as they walked side by side out of the building. Clara snorted as she glared at the figures. There was another man, possibly Alex's friend, who was following them closely. Alex looked in a surprisingly good condition, for someone that got into such an accident.

She'd been patiently waiting at the reception for when they would leave the hospital. And now, she wasn't prepared for what she saw. Sola. Clara said silently. Bitterness filling her heart.
She couldn't control the hatred and envy that gripped her as she stared after Sola's lithe form. She looked so graceful, so perfect. Far from her own tarnished life.

She has no right to look this good. She should look tattered after I sent her away!
She is nothing! If not for my mumu parents that decided to help her then, she would probably have died a long time ago.

"How far, Clara?" Clara jumped the moment she heard Caroline's voice from her head phone.

"Uh.. Yes. It's true that he had an accident. They all just left the hospital." Clara replied hesitantly.
She was still not sure if she could trust Caroline.

Caroline had come to her home over two weeks ago, she'd explained how she'd gone to her work place but was told she'd been fired. Then she'd gotten her house address where Afeez, one of her accomplice was currently occupying. Then that one had given Caroline her contact and address, which led to their meeting.

"So.. You mean to tell me that Sola and my man are still together?!" Caroline growled into the phone, making Clara wince.

Clara almost burst into laughter when she thought of the dumb plan Caroline had hatched to separate Alex from Sola. She'd done worse things, thinking they would never be together again. But Sola had gone ahead and gotten pregnant for him.

That fertile witch!.

"Yes, Caro. They are. They even look more closer, all mushy and lovey-dovey." she said, the distaste clear in her
voice.

"Okay then. Come back home, we have a plan to hatch!" Caroline said and hung up instantly.

Clara watched as the car drove smoothly by, she smiled wickedly, before standing up and walking out of the hospital.

*Sola*

That night, Justin organized a very funny small party to welcome his dad. After a few hours, Mr and Mrs Williams left, followed by Ekene.

Fayo was having abdominal pains so she had to retire early for the night. Her husband went with her too.

I was so nervous of being alone with Alex, so I did what I did best.

"Justin! It's time for your shower baby, come." I said to Justin who was playing with Amina.

"Oh, don't worry, Sola." Amina said, picking him up and moving to walk out of the room with Justin. "Justin said he wants to spend the night in my room and he wants me to bathe him... Right Justin?" Amina popped a candy into Justin's mouth which stopped him from being able to talk. I glanced at Alex who was smirking at me.

"Okay, goodnight Sola, Alex." she hurriedly left the room, the stupid girl gave me a wink before closing the door.

I gulped and turned to Alex. He was grinning widely at me. His forehead was a bit swollen and his arm was still bruised, but other than that, he still looked like the brooding Alex he always was.
We were both seated on the sofa that was opposite the large king-sized bed.

"Alex.. I.. I'm sorry for..."

"Shhh" he interrupted me, placing a finger on my lips. I felt the blush make its way to my face again as we stared at each other.

"You don't have to apologize for anything. I deserved everything I got. If you hadn't kept me on my toes all this while, I wouldn't have accepted my mistakes, and I wouldn't have admitted my feelings for you." He said smiling at me.

"And, what are your feelings for me?" I asked, glaring playfully at him.

"I love you, Sola. I love you so much that my heart feels like it's going to explode for you. And I want you so bad." He said. I was instantly aware of the change in his gaze.

"I love you too, Alex. I've never stopped loving you all these years. I thought I stopped, but I didn't. I was so hurt that I encouraged myself into thinking I was over you." I replied, my smile didn't leave my lips as I leaned into him and placed a soft kiss on cheek.

I was about to pull back, when he grabbed my arms, making me stay in place. I placed my hands shyly around his neck and closed my eyes.

He brought his head down and devoured my mouth with a hungry, driving intensity and urgency that made my every sense shift into an over drive with sweet longing. The taste and scent of him infiltrated me like a dangerous drug, blowing the control out of my body instantly.

"Alex.. We.. You need to rest!" I whispered pleadingly even as I arched my back so I could move in closer to him. The heat between us was so strong and thick that it made me tremble uncontrollably.

"I need you, sugar. That's what I need. Please don't say no, baby. Feel this, feel how hard I am for you." I gasped as Alex guided my fingers to his crotch, where his erection was clearly straining against his trousers. I wrapped my fingers around him through the fabric.

And low down between my pants, deep in my feminine core, a surge of moisture dampened my sensitive part, and I melted into his arms.

Soon, we were on the bed. I hardly wondered how he'd managed to carry me to the bed.
"Alex.. We can't.. Justin—"

"–Is safe with Amina. They all know we are together. There's nothing to be shy about, my love."

And That was the last straw, I finally gave into the mass of pleasure Alex introduced to me.

In the next instant, we were both naked. His long hands trailed through every corner of my body as he brought me to the highest peak of pleasures. Every single moment felt magical and I sobbed as Alex loved my body in the perfect way that only him could.

In a nutshell, that night was the best night of my life. We made love with so much passion that I didn't care even when I screamed and moaned all night. He tortured my body and worshipped it at the same time. And the best part was that we were free and we loved each other.

After what felt like hours, we finally drifted off into a blissful slumber in each other's arms.

*Alex*

The next week went the same way. Sola and I couldn't get enough of each other. Even when we had an official family dinner with my parents at their home, we'd snuck off into the hallway and had a quickie. We'd almost been caught by little Justin who had wandered to find his parents.

"Oh my God! Look at what you've caused, Alex! Our son will catch us banging each other!" Sola had whispered fearfully.

We'd ended up pretending to make scary sounds to scare off the little brat, making him scream.. Ojuju! Ojuju!

"Alex... Will you attend Justin's school party? They always make it a big event and I always attend." Sola said to me the night we got back home.

"Uh.. I don't think we should be going out to social gatherings right now, sugar. we still don't have any clue on where Clara is or what she's planning to do." I replied in a worried voice. I didn't want to take any chances, not until my head of security found Clara.

"Oh, come on, Alex. We'll be together and safe. Nothing will happen. Please, Alex. Pleaaaaaaaseeee" she whined, leaning into me and placing her arms around my neck. She stared at me with her puppy dog eyes and pouted at me.

"I don't know, Sola......." I said, uncertainly.

"If you agree, I promise..... I'll take care of you very well." her voice had gone husky, I took a deep breath as her hand trailed south on my lean body. The lady was a seductive witch, and lately she was becoming a pro at it. Which I loved.

"Okay, I will. But don't go back on your word." I replied, finally giving in.

"Oh... I don't plan to baby, let's go to bed."

And she led the way, with me trailing behind like a lost puppy.
