Chapter 7. Loser and Decisions.
Devan didn't come during the lunch time and the bell already went off, so, no lunch for him and Aaron the great, took the hot dog with him anyway.
I was finding Devan throughout the school, and didn't get him anywhere around. Where is he?
I went out of the school and checked the parking lot, Devan's car wasn't there. He was gone.
I huffed.
I took my phone out to call him and saw a text from 'Devan.'
Hey, I am sorry, but I had to go to the public library to take the book because our school didn't have it. Suckers. See you tomorrow. Bye. J
D.
I slipped my phone back into my pocket.
"Hey, need a ride home?" someone asked.
I turned around to see Aaron, rotating his car keys in his pointing finger.
"Well, a-" I hesitated but, he cut me off instead.
"I am not asking you, let's go," he said, clicking the switch in his keys, making his car beep.
'Jerk' I muttered under my breath.
Aaron sat in the driver's seat obviously and I opened the back door.
"I am not your driver. Sit in the passenger seat." He ordered.
"Could you be nice to people because I was keeping my backpack there, and was coming to sit in the passenger seat, because I know and I realized it lot ago, that you aren't my driver." I snapped.
I sat in the passenger's seat and we were off.
"Fine, but, you could've kept your backpack after sitting in the passenger seat too. Couldn't you?" he asked.
"I could, but I didn't," I made myself clear enough.
"Why didn't you?" he asked.
"Because, I didn't want to," I said annoyed.
"Why didn't you want to?" he asked.
"Hey, okay, let's get one thing straight, I can do whatever the hell I want to do. You don't get to tell me what to do and what not to," I snapped.
"Fine," he said defeated.
"I win, loser," I sang.
We were silent for a few seconds while I did the victory dance in the seat.
"Look, I am sorry for the scene in the canteen, I didn't mean to-" Aaron said, looking at me.
"What the cream fudge, look at the road, I don't want to die," I yelled, almost scaring him.
Aaron's eyes fixated on the road.
"And it's okay," I trailed off.
Aaron started laughing. Was he crazy or something?
He wasn't stopping. What's going on?
"What?" I asked.
No answer, cause he was too busy laughing. How can he laugh so much? Doesn't his stomach hurt?
I was scared, maybe be will leave the steering wheels and hold his stomach cause he was laughing so hard, and we'll die.
"WHAT?!" I snapped.
"Cream fudge? You are the kind of girl who can fight with me with those pick-up lines, and you don't swear?" he asked, still laughing.
"Yes, I don't swear, anyways, it's not even cool to swear, and it doesn't make me a better person so, yeah," I made myself clear.
"Oh okay, and I got to the primary to pick someone up, and then, I'll drop you home. Is that okay with you?" he asked.
"Are you asking? Or are you going to take the decision yourself?" I smirked.
"Never mind. I'll be right back," he stated as he got off the car, and ran towards the exit of the school.
After 3 minutes....
Aaron opened the back door and Faith's head popped in.
Wait, what? Aaron Power, and Faith Power. Okay, this made sense.
"Hey!!!" I yelled in excitement, thankfully, I didn't scare her off.
"Hey Chummy!!" she was equally excited.
"Chummy? Who's that?" Aaron piped in.
"It's her." Faith assured.
Aaron started driving and he started to laugh again, I let out a sigh followed by an irritated groan.
"SHUT UP!" I punched Aaron's arm.
"Yes, shut up," Faith piped in.
This time I laughed, seeing his little sister shut him up. Lol. Great scene though.
"Don't you shut me up Faith," Aaron scolded.
"You shouldn't make fun of someone's name, that's disgraceful," she said matching her tone as that of Aaron, with seriousness.
"Well, I feel bad for you Aaron, seeing that Faith is more intelligent that you are," I pouted.
"Shut up," he muttered.
Faith and I high-fived.
"If you both are done, can you tell me where you live?" he asked.
"Yeah," I said, and showed him the directions.
Faith and I kept talking funny things and often made fun of Aaron, and we giggled. Whenever he would look at us, we would scold him for fixing his eyes in the road and not cause any accident, leading all of us to die at this young age.
Faith's eyes always sparkled, she was too cute for her own good. She was so innocent and she always spoke what was in her mind, throughout the time. She even asked me about Jay-Jay, and I answered.
She said if she could meet him now, for at least a minute, I said 'yes' but, Aaron denied cause, he would be late, for God knows what.
But, Faith convinced him that she won't make him wait for more than a minute. Aaron agreed.
Aaron said, that they won't come inside the house, I would have to bring Jay-Jay out instead. I agreed, for Faith.
After reaching home within a minute, I went inside the house, and pulled Jay-Jay out and he yelled at me "Pokémon, I'll miss the scenes. Pikachu is going to fight against Bellsprout."
I pointed at the car and Faith's head popped out.
"Hey Faith," he exclaimed.
"Hey Jason," she greeted, "see you at school tomorrow, don't be absent, okay? Bye." She finished.
"Bye Faith," he said, with a wide smile.
"Bye chummy," she said to me, "oh, and Aaron said bye too," she paused and looked at Aaron, and then back at me "and he said, he'll see you in school tomorrow. Okay?" she finished.
"Yeah, bye." I and Jay-Jay waved them off.
Jay-Jay thanked me before he ran into the house to see Pokémon's fight again, and I turned to walk towards the house and my eyes met a shining black jeep.
